Finally got my post up too. The army got me sick (and yeah, it's totally their fault) so I've been having fun dealing with the flu all weekend, so it took longer than expected. But there it is; a little bit wall-ish, but there.

Yep. The entire thing. Someone said, "Hey, lets make all the soldiers snuff flu and eggs up their noses... That'll be fun!" And then the powers that be were like "that's totally a great idea!" Then wha-la! Here I am being sick the whole weekend because they even had the foresight to make me wake up super early on a Friday and get it for maximum fun.

Don't underestimate the power of the Green Weenie.

Neato. Last week I got two days off as recompense for participating in a CBRNE readiness exercise, since it was after duty hours. Go Blue, I guess.


*sighs* I just- I can't even look at you right now (hypothetically through the internet, that is). I'd be happy with just getting to go home on time once and awhile, lol.

@lydyn How's that DD-214 blanket treating you? Is it softer than a woobie like people say?

I'm just going to go sit in the corner and eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

@Free Faller - Well... haha, they had trouble getting it to me and now I'm in South Korea, so I pretty much have to wait until I move back to the states before even bothering to get it again - namely because it's much harder than you'd realize trying to get ANYTHING done while not on US territory. Especially since they ask me questions I kind of memory dumped? Like... the EXACT date I put on E-5... >.> *Sigh*

Is it strange I immediately thought of Gawain when I first saw him? He's like a wonderful cross of a teutonic knight and an Arturian Knight.

Speaking of which... people Clarent needs to meet: Green Knight, Ellarion, Vampy (nnew nickname) and Erebus.

Awww, thanks! The medieval classics are a sorely underrated nowadays (they have their faults, of course, but they're so delightful).

I'm just pleased that the idea seems to have worked, I usually stay away from knights. :D

Gawain and the Green Knight was my reading the week before this RP launched and it provided a fun base...minus the part where the Green Knight walks around without a head.
