@ClocktowerEchos Well how about I put you down somewhere with some nice coast and a bit of space between you and other nations? Unless you want to border a particular nation, that should suit until you can see the map proper. One other thing I've noticed, gold has already gone as a colour. White would suit perhaps?

Sounds good, I would want to be next to @Aristo, but seeing as both of us seem to be heavily religious in two different religions, we might just end up crusading on each other

I don't think I've even given my nation a true religion. I guess they'd be pretty secular instead, what with the shift from magic to technology and all.

There we are! I'll come back and fill in the history, and give the units their proper names, but I just needed to make sure this didn't start without me!

The basic history is that they were a great empire, but then they were basically wiped out. In come the Orcs, offering black magic to be coupled with the dwarves skills with metal, to basically "rebirth" the fallen warriors into all new mechanical forms.

Everyone hates on the undead until they need some cannon fodder.

Going to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Tushienia actually knew that this great Darkness was coming (What with being necromancers and all, same wavelengths) and even attempted to unite some nations against it... but failed because no one will listen to them.

As for religion... Tushienia doesn't exactly have one. The goblins highly revere nature while the liches promote the idea that godhood was merely a matter of power and the key to ascending was to discover a path to achieve that power for yourself. Transcending the limits of the mortal coil by becoming a lich was merely a means of extending the time one had to figure out the secrets of becoming a greater being, but it is not the only path to greatness.

The Holy Novgorod Imperium is going to hate our guts for it, but whatever. The Great Darkness from the east is going to claim them first anyway... and we will take in whatever refugees wish to flee in our direction.
