With your recommendation I'll definitely put it on my reading list. Speaking of, how is Darseid War? Or rather is it better than Trinity War and Forever Evil?


Honestly, I can't stand it. I've tried a few issues and I can't. Once they started messing with the New Gods and mucking up all that, I was done. Plus, a lot of the non-event titles are actively ignoring everythung that's happening. It makes it almost feel like an elseworlds story. However the spin-offs hold real promise if the Green Lantern issue was anything to go by. Would I recommend the entire event? Not at the moment.

(Which kind of means it's on par with the other "crossover" events you listed.)

@Blue Demon I love Bruce, especially when he's written like that.

I love New 52 Batman. So great; especially written under Scott Snyder.


I know right? I'm really excited to see him come back in action in Batman #49

Kieran really thought he had a way with words. He was doing it for the team and for Kyle. When he was saying he didn't want to risk Kyle going through the same thing again he was meaning the emotional trauma from hurting someone.

Good luck on catching up. There's a lot.

I haven't mentioned it again, but yes, he's wearing it. Hasn't taken it off. (Not that he had time since Julian hustled them both off. I dare say he only threw on a shirt and followed. Then when they changed, Kyle would have totally left it on.)

I personally really like Synder's Death of the Family and Endgame. Those are my favorite New 52 Batman stories. Night of Owls was good too. Before Synder I liked Hush of course and Battle for the Cowl.

I don't usually buy many comics (my local library has an extensive collection) but I loved Endgame enough to put down 25 bucks for it. Totally worth it.

I am jealous of your library. Mine has a small collection. Mostly they carry manga. Which I don't read all that often.
