@LeeRoy Aerogel is just an improved form of gel. The idea of a gel was not original when it was invented. Colloids were a well known form of matter, and the idea of suspending a solid in a gas was already well established with aerosols. Even its function as an insulator is not novel. It would be hard to think of a less original idea.

The Telegraph is not original at all. It's just glorified smokes signals.

You could go on, and so could I. It's actually quite fun, as I didn't even know aerogel was a thing until I looked it up to see what idea it was based on.

I'm at work. I'll have around 5 hours to plan the rest of her sheet and then start typing once I get back and have dinner. At best it will take me an hour to actually type it all out. I'll skip the background info if that's okay with you. Maybe just a brief paragraph of important events or something. She won't be from midgar so we can assume it's a multiverse thing.

P.S. I dare you to come up with a better name for our match than my beautiful one.

Copying my aliteration after knocking me down a notch? I see how it is. ;)

We'll go with yours. What will our petty quarrel be about? To the death? If it is to the death then they could always use Phoenix downs to revive the other (even if they are probably only used near death or unconscious rather than them literally dead unless it's done quickly). Perhaps to the KO would be best if they are both heroes and this is petty.

Since it's most likely not ranked I won't be really stingy on you posting all her materia, but you can for easy reference.

The wikia does mention it revives the dead like a Phoenix. Maybe it only works in midgar where the Phoenix are from to explain why the multiverse doesn't stock up. They can kill each other and Phoenix down the loser

Using your logic on the Aerogel comment, you would say that humans are just glorified carbon. Calling something based on its components is intentionally going out of your way to be obtuse.

@LeeRoy Humans are not an invention, so it's irrelevant. But, humans are pretty much just a bunch of biochemical reactions. And showing that an idea uses already existing ideas is not obtuse, it proves my point.

@Tasuke, My character. Feel free to note any changes that need to be made. Balancing her skeleton dog powers may be difficult.

I forgot to mention that the bones can generate at the rate of normal bones. Which...I guess still needs to be explained since people might not know they'd regenerate out of a body.
