sports are different from books and tests. Being brilliant doesn't mean having a genius IQ. I point to Goku for example, amazing and ingenious martial artist, but a total moron when it comes intellect outside of combat.

If Mars gets the hit, it is a KO. Instantly. However getting the hit is difficult. Rick is the clone of Barry Allen. That makes him really really fast. So it is a toss up.

He's not, he'll be able to break it by age 20. Proportionately, he would roughly have a top speed of 652.2mph currently which is not far off from Mach 1, saying of course he's increasing at a rate of approximately 38mph per year.

That said, Rick's striking force, saying he weighs approximately 142lbs is approximately 2.1 metric tonnes of striking force after a quick conversion.

In the context of superheroes and comics, martial artists are able to time a speedster's movements and check them with a quick attack. It's how Deathstroke manages to tag the Flash during their encounters.

Yeah but its limited in scope. It's only focused on punching which is great if you're in a stand up fight. In the debated situation, Mars is not therefore he's going to lose.

Well, okay. New 52 Barry is the fastest in the new universe. But in the old universe, Wally was stupid fast. He literally fought a time manipulator using only his speed. He also made Professor Zoom look like a total tool.
