Though it does need some kind of drawbacks anyways like build-up time or w/e.

Akimichi Chokurou [+]

"Oh yeah. Teriyaki beef with broccoli and rice. Nice snack after a hard workout.” I'd disagree.

Being of Akimichi descent it is no surprise that his has an above average frame. Cho stands at around 1.97 meters and 145 kg. Unlike most "fatties" however, Cho's weight is distributed fairly equally with the only difference is having slightly more weight in the front. Starting from his head he has short light brown hair along the sides and back, almost like a fade, with much more on top that he likes to comb back. His eyes are of a medium shade of brown. Around his mouth is a small stubble of a goatee that is usually well kept and neat. As most Akimichi, Cho adorns the traditional war paint. For him it is a red bar that goes from his chin to his lower lip and two bars on both sides of his eyes that run to the sides of his cheekbones and down.

He usually wears black sandals and grey combat pants, rolled and taped near the top of the sandal. On the upper torso he adorns a long blue sleeve shirt with a mesh undershirt. A grey trench coat is worn over the long sleeve shirt and resembles that of what Chouji Akimichi wore.

【Personality】
When he was young he was short tempered and quick to fight but now, Chokurou is a polite, playful and proud member of the Akimichi clan as he is usually seen helping in some way with the Akimichi affairs whether showing hospitality for the leaders of other clans when they visit or something as simple as helping family train so he's whipped now. Unlike his cousin, Chokashi, who is usually seen as the more social one of the two, Chokurou is more on the reserved side in social settings, tending to let others start the conversation before speaking up. Despite his reserved personality, he is quick with his wit and that only adds to his charm. He doesn't usually say no to helping a friend unless there is something important going on in the Akimichi compound. Chokurou on his days off can usually be found at the Akimichi training grounds, the hot springs in the area or any of the hibachi in the area.

Chokurou usually wears a smile on his face and has a somewhat loose posture when in a calm setting or situation such as being with friends and whatnot. He can be a bit of a drinker and this is thanks to Chokashi on Chokurou's 20th birthday when he went shot for shot with his cousin which landed hem both on their asses. Usually when drinking with friends he is a bit more talkative thanks to the obvious fact that liquor is involved but it's when he's drunk that he is more unpredictable. Chokurou tends to tense in more stressful situations but mostly can only be seen in his eyes since they are the first to show signs that he is worried, annoyed or angry, falling back onto a smile when angered so he smiles when he's angry, that can't be confusing at all.

His views of the confederation and the Red Sages are usually kept to himself. When he went into the academy school he was aware that he would be working for the Confederation but the Akimichi, including Chokurou, and the Nara clans could care less about confederation and rather the safety of Konahagakure. If they are called upon they will fight for the Confederation but their concerns will mostly be for Konaha. Never heard of that village.

【History】
The story for a lot of those in the Akimichi clan are similar in their early years, revolving around being teased for their weight and whatnot and for Chokurou it was no different. His mother always taught him that he was to respect others in order to be respected but kids are kids and they don't usually listen and as such Chokurou never hesitated in fighting back, especially those who disrespected him or his family. This mindset of "hit first ask questions later" would cause problems in the academy even though physical training included sparring it didn't include sending kids to the hospital. Cho would come home to find his parents talking to the academy teacher about his behavior and would be immediately punished and sent to the training grounds to train for X amount of hours until his father felt he was ready or told to help out around the compound on the weekends when his friend, a young Nara, would be available to hangout. Many would think that his punishment was a bit too extreme but the Akimichi never strayed from the old ways as far as training went oldie but goldie. Monitored by his cousin, Chokashi, he would learn from his cousin how to fight his way. Chokashi told him "So what if your fat or your mother and father are? Why do the Inuzuka have dog features or why does the Aburame Clan hide their faces? Because that's what makes them who they are. Don't forget that."

Years would go on with this running through Cho's head as he slowly started to incorporate this into his mindset. The first few times after Chokashi talked with him he didn't get it until he started to take notice to the different clans and saw the similarities that Chokashi had told him. Slowly he started to except who he was and no longer let this bother him. By graduation he had already seen close to 60 fights and the fights stopped closer to graduation. After graduation and he was placed in a team, he increased his training with his cousin and his father while beginning to learn what he would do within the clan. Time would go by and Chokurou would become much more involved with the clan's affairs so time with friends would lessen or become rather dull due to his mind focusing more-so on what was happening politically with the Akimichi, specifically to the recent happenings between the Red Sages and the Confederation. He still has the mindset of remaining neutral in the whole matter but he knows he has to do what konaha asks of him. There's that weird city again.


【Family ties】
The Akimichi are a close nit, traditional family, usually taking care of one another first before moving out towards the community, minus the Hokage or whoever was in charge at the time. Usually politics and such remain in the compound unless the clan leader says otherwise. The clan has not currently come up with a concrete decision on which side they stand for between the Red Sages and the Confederation but have opted for the answer of protecting the citizens of Konahagakure from anything that may put them in danger. Besides that the Akimichi clan has, after 200 years, maintained their relations with both the Nara Clan and the Yamanaka Can.

【Fighting style】
Chokurou is quite the powerhouse thanks to the training his father and cousin put him through. He is able to take a beating and continue forwards while providing heavy blows and powerful jutsu. He has no problem getting close and starting a grappling game or staying back and on the defensive. Cho's signature, much like his cousin, is the Buddhist palm, a powerful jutsu that can be used directly or at a distance and can be combined with a few of the Akimichi secret jutsu as well. His stance is similar to Chokashi's which is a watered down version of the Hyuuga style without the precision that the Hyuuga are known for. Cho's style is meant to allow for quick stuns and powerful punches and kicks. I don't really like the idea of a non-Hyuuga doing Hyuuga things...

Description:
How it is made: Chakra is concentrated in the palm of the hand and condensed to a fine point. Once it is at the users liking, it is forcibly released from the palm outwards in a cone like shape. From max distance it is enough to knock back an opponent and cause loss of breath with a chance of stunning. Half the max distance can stop a heart and cause broken bones with possibilty of trauma to the brain and direct impact is enough to shatter bones, rupture organs, cause brain damage or death but once again this also depends on the amount of chakra used and its density. So at 8.5m this is practically guaranteed to end a fight in one hit. Less is pretty much death. It's lethality makes it A-rank, sure. But...

Appearance: When forming it gives off a light golden hue before turning into a bright gold at the center of the palm. It can also turn to a whitish-gold but this is mostly at a higher level of mastery that Cho has not reached yet. When released, a quick flash of white followed by a dark gold cone-like beam is shot outward, enveloping those in its path.

Sound: When forming, it's sound is relatable to that of a group of monks meditating (humming or whatever it's called) and then when released, sounds very similar to multiple gongs being hit in unison.

Weakness: Like the Akimichi human boulder technique, it is limited in direction as it is a linear attack. It doesn't really have much of a weakness other than "it can potentially be dodged"...

Note: When used in unison with the Partial Expansion jutsu or Full body expansion jutsu, its range and damage capabilities are doubled if not tripled depending on chakra amount and density of said chakra. This however, Cho is still working on. AND its range and application can be significantly improved. So I'm gonna have to say no to this one as it is. Nerf or remove. Alternatively, my suggestion would be to make it so it cannot be used in conjuction with Expansion techniques and to give it a bit more of a real weakness.

However, the pills have a drawback. Each pill damages the body, poisoning it and since the third pill converts all of one's fat reserves, the user will become dangerously emaciated. It is said that after the third pill, death is imminent. However the Nara Clan has done extensive research on the pills since the Fourth Shinobi War and have eliminated the negative effects of the first two pills however they have managed to lower the risk of death in the third pill by 20%. Still, this doesn't change the fact that the Chili pill is still dangerous. So you see, I don't like this. It makes sense IC-ly, but being able to spam the first two pills with literally no consequences seems rather BS to me. Give them drawbacks.
