Actually, I was more thinking of the Naval Brigade in the British army during WWI; they took sailors from ships, trained them as infantry, but they retained Naval ranks, used the sailors way of speaking, and even still gave some orders that those they served beside found quite outlandish I.E. they used Naval/Nautical terms.

If you'd like to be a Naval guy who can fly vehicles - much like Agent B52 is a tank commander, but can still operate as an infantryman - then that's cool...but we've really no need for a purely Naval guy.

An Armsman or drop-ship flyer-cum-infantry guy a la Starship Troopers is fine, but a guy who only flies and does nothing else...nicht so gut.

Oh, and if anyone wants to try to mount a rescue of what's left of the Endoran 3rd, they're free to do so. The survivors are currently trapped in an apartment complex in the city's core, hounded by orks.

Quick update, I had hoped to have a ppst out already but shit happened. I got a last minute invite for an airsoft weekend innawoods and just got back. As I have to get up at 5am tomorrow for work I expect to get a post out on Tuesday. My deepest apologies for the inconvenience.
