Well sure. She'll be dancing circles around the guys.

But she doesn't really wear armor except on her arms and upper torso, and can't really take a hit. A few solid hits and she'd probably be down xP

I'm getting the feeling that one of the first 'tactics' Kostya could implement is to go berserk, yell something like "RAMMING!" and charge at whatever does appear to be a slowcoach. And then, suddenly, he makes the rest of the party angry by yelling "I've hit something!" whilst they've already been asleep for quite some time.

considering she's not using it....

probably not.
I'm no expert on bows, though, so yeah.

Also. That's a horrible idea, and would immediately get him on Maria's bad side.

Aye. It's absolutely horrible to always keep a bow strung. From what I remember, bows warp a lot if they're left strung (especially if the bow isn't stored in a completely dry and cool environment), causing them to lose a lot of tension.

However, today, some bows are made extremely well, so it's less of a big deal. The only reason why you'd leave bows strung is if you're shooting it every day.

I think I'm going with she does have it strung.

Mostly because they are walking into unknown territory and might run into something that would very much like to eat them. Stringing the bow would just take unnecessary and unneeded amount of time.

She'd probably unstring it or whatever when they stop for the night, of course, but when they're traveling...yeah. Probably will be ready to shoot something in the face.
