As far as my definition I would say that Fae is indeed sort of a blanket term as there are many races of faeries. Think of it more as breeds of dogs. They come in many shapes forms and colors all with their own cultures, each individual however may align with either court though some are more inclined to go one way or the other based on their race while others are sort of neutral. There are also Fea who are not aligned with either court though.
As far as elves there is a description of them in the first set of posts here in the OOC and I might be inclined to go either way on classifying goblins as fae but orges and the like I would say they would be more their own species.

Also, please excuse my current dreadful grammar. I'm typing on my phone because I had to very suddenly rush home because someone called saying my horses were out and my father isn't very good at catching my wild 12 year old.
