So ranting asides, I'm curious how teams will be paired together, I know you said the teams will made be during the first test, or will it be done entirely in IC? Or will we be given some team information before we start?

Teams will be picked by myself and the co-GM in conversation and in IC, you'll be teamed up there. I mean there's not going to be much else you need to know besides the others characters and they'll all be on the character page.

Oh, okay, I hope you guys make good and balanced teams, I once remember being in a Rwby RP where the DM made the teams and they were the most unbalanced teams I have ever seen.

Well thankfully we've got quite a varied cast of characters, so I reckon we can whip up something more than workable.

Those are good things to hear, The biggest problem with Rwby RP is the team composition, either people will make too many of one type of combat role or the names of the characters will pretty much force people into a team that while working well to form a cool name but might not work well together in practice. but I'm glad to hear you guys are working on balancing the Teams.

There are actual naming rules for teams and characters too, everything's got to be related to or suggest a colour. Or just outright is a colour.

It might be worth trying, if we can't make team names with the first names, to use last names or mix first and last names.

@NevixTeam names can be made with the initial of both first and last names anyways. For example Team CRDN, and Ren's full name is Lie Ren, so his surname is used to make the R in JNPR

@CadenGallicIt makes team names a little easier. You go from a mix of 4 letters to 8, it's cray cray

Yep, if I remeber right I think a member from team CRDN uses their last name as well. Can't remeber which off the top of my head, so it's not based on an Asian name scheme either with Ren

Only restriction on that is that EVERY team thus far has used the leader's first initial.
