Tyler certainly looks his age, somewhat awkward in stature and slightly chub-cheeked. His jawline isn't extremely defined, but his thinness and the little amount of body fat he carries creates enough of a contrast. He has high cheekbones, but not enough to create angles from his face. His nose is a tad flat, with flaring nostrils that would make him look angry if he weren't so often smiling. His chestnut-brown eyes are constantly slitted and feminine if only in the way his eyelashes curl; his eyebrows are heavy and have two states - either furrowed in concentration or slightly raised with amusement. He has full lips, always pink with the amount of biting on them he does. His hair is dark brown and seemingly persistently shaggy, long and curly at the top and trimmed short at the sides. Tyler's complexion isn't the clearest, but he certainly has a nice natural fairness.

He's five foot nine and one-fourty-five, so pretty average on all ends. His weight is oddly distributed, however, so he ends up looking lanky and thin. His muscle doesn't quite get to his arms, instead growing elongated in his legs, but still he doesn't build it easily. He dresses in mostly modern style, with long, oversized shirts, and jeans that seem like they should be skinny but sag off of his body slightly. Really, you could only describe it as lazy, because he always shows up to school in graphic sweatshirts and XXL basketball shorts and scuffed up Converse. He does have one tattoo, comprised of three lines that circle around his wrist. The meaning he's very secretive about - in fact, he only really tells it to very close friends.

Most of the time, Tyler's personality is both passionate and composed. He has an innocent curiosity that when combined with his creativity yields a character that is fascinated with everything, and fascinating in itself. He has a vast (or, rather, random) array of knowledge, which helps him to piece together ideas that would not often be associated with each other. In terms of emotional sensitivity, Tyler is unsurpassed, with a specific talent for empathizing with other people's pain.

He radiates an aura of mystery, and his insightful observations and original ideas enable him to push change through with sheer willpower and force of personality. At times it will seem that he is bent on deconstructing and rebuilding every idea and system he comes into contact with, employing a sense of perfectionism and even morality to this work. Anyone who doesn’t have the talent to keep up with his processes, or worse yet, doesn’t see the point of them, is likely to immediately and permanently lose his respect.

Tyler has problems with anxiety and self-esteem that is mistaken for narcissism. He often sits in front of the mirrors for hours, not because he is full of himself but because he is deathly afraid of not being the 'perfect' Tyler that people expect him to be. He is too often paralyzed with fear that he won't present a good external appearance despite his obvious blessings and constantly asks his friends how he looks. Worse are his insecurities about his personality, his intelligence, his talents - Tyler is steadily learning the piano, for one, and it takes all of his confidence out of him. His parents pressure him to play basketball and stay healthy, but all of his fears knock out the energy to work on either of these things. He grows lethargic because it is just so difficult to keep up with his own expectations, and only ends up making things worse by not improving on himself.

On one hand, Tyler has the perseverance and drive to do what needs to be done. He is self-sufficient and does not need to depend on other people for the material and physical things in life. On the other hand, he depends on people for emotional support and encouragement. He is not fully self-actualized, and needs the constant support of others and will not be very independent. He craves attention and comfort from other people and he is happiest when he has a small, close knit group of friends or family. Tyler is extremely loyal to those who appreciate and support him. He projects any good feeling onto other people instead of basking in it. Those who want to share deep emotional thoughts and opinions with Tyler might feel that the scales are tipped on one side, for he will rarely reveal his actual feelings.

Aside from incredible shyness and passivity, he is amazingly persevering and will stand up for what he believes in. Tyler is fragile, unpredictable, and temperamental; more than anyone he's known, Tyler needs to be needed. Even when all needs are satisfied, he can be irritable and cranky. His temperament is uneasy and delicate - Tyler has wild mood swings and frequent temper tantrums. Unfortunately, he is easily offended and will sulk and wallow in self pity for a long time when he gets hurt.

Conveniently, he is actually deeply sensitive and easily hurt. He lives in the past, holding old events close to him and dwelling solely in his memories. Constantly sick with nostalgia, Tyler comes off as mysterious, filled with contradictions. Typically he's very helpful to others, yet sometimes can be cranky and indifferent. His driving, forceful personality can be easily hidden beneath a calm and cool exterior. He is very possessive; not just with material possessions, but with people as well. Tyler will always want to stay in touch with old friends and anyone who has ever been close to him, because it is easier to maintain a friendship than attempt to learn to trust a new person.

Tyler's parents met in a Columbus school that he never got to attend, having been homeschooled up until high school. His mother was a maths teacher, and his father was one of the school's coaches. Naturally, his childhood was full of pressure to do well both academically (from his mother's side) and athletically (from his father's side) in order to receive a scholarship. He was fairly talented at basketball - still is - but has never really enjoyed it. Tyler's a bit of an adrenaline seeker, though, so he keeps up the charade to this day if only for a way to expend energy. Both his schooling and his social life have been somewhat restricted by the strict Christian lifestyle his family has adopted at home. It's not much of a secret by the way Tyler acts, all awkward and inhibited: he's been sheltered for the majority of his life.

Because of how underexposed he is, Tyler doesn't get to practice his actual passion very much: piano. His mother bought him a keyboard when he was younger that he ignored up until freshman year of high school, and he really only gets to practice by mimicking tunes from his radio. Apart from his 'secret talent,' Tyler's life has been rather uneventful. He tries his best to sing and play the ukelele otherwise, when he's not at home (mostly bumming around at a friend's house, usually) just to avoid any questioning from his parents.

Alex stands at an impressive 6’0”, with an athletic frame. This is complemented by his broad shoulders, defined abs, and a strong, smooth jawline - the living definition of “chick magnet”, which (surprisingly) isn’t reflected in the way he dressed. He opts for comfortable attire, such as loose-fitting trousers in various dark shades, and a baggy, grey shirt. This is comfortable in more ways than one – it hides his muscles, ensuring that anyone who approaches him does so because they want to know him as a person. It also (somehow) makes him just another face in the crowd, which is good for those days when he just doesn’t want to be bothered by people. Finally, it helps him cut ties with his past, which was spent being a part of the “popular clique”, bullying freshmen and various other things.

Ghost’s clothes also bring out his eyes; a hypnotising, light orangeish-brown, like the leaves of autumn, swirling in the wind and littering the roads. They often make people image a scene like that – the soft crunch of a leaf under their feet, the cool wind whipping at their ears. Most people say this is what gained him that brief modelling job. That and his family’s wealth, that is. Another thing that complements his eyes is his hair, due to its’ lighter shade of brown. Sometimes, people have claimed its’ looked more blonde than brown, and others see it as a gradient between light and dark brown.

Ghost has changed a lot during his time at Beverly Hills High School. When he originally started, he was timid, shy, and preferred to keep his head down. Slowly but surely, he picked up on the patterns that the different groups used, including what they thought of other students. It was just a matter of making the right friends in the right places, altering his personality to coincide with the Preps, and boom. He was almost at the top group after a mere two years. This meant he had to put on a façade, though, and a good one at that – being in one of the highest groups in the school meant he had to bully and belittle others, impressing those above him and acting like a complete jackass.

However, he couldn’t keep it up for the rest of his time at school. Especially not with the stress his brother was causing him. Thus, the “outburst of ‘14” happened – probably the most embarrassing event at the school. In this, Ghost – as you’d expect – had a complete breakdown, screaming at his brother and calling him every name under the sun. From that moment, he was shunned by the others, laughed at and shoved to the back of the crowd. Since then, he’s grown spiteful and aggressive towards the popular kids, his hatred going so far that it’s made him petty and jealous. This has also made him incredibly short tempered, meaning he can blow up at the slightest of things. For now, however, he’s decided to stick in the shadows, so as to not make a scene. But he will get his revenge.

The taller they stand, the harder they fall. What Ghost has experienced has practically been the living example of that. He was born in Canandaigua to Jamie Bryant and Anna Wilhelm, the former being a mildly successful (and seldom known) footballer. He was raised alongside his older brother – David – and the family moved to Beverly Hills when Alex was ten years old. David helped him settle into his new school (being only a year older than Alex had its’ benefits) and defended him from people that decided to target the new kid. For the most part, Ghost decided to keep his head down; encouraged by his parents to do well within the more athletic subjects, given his father’s occupation. However, the more and more they put pressure on him, the more detached Ghost became.

Soon, the time came for Alexander to go to high school, and what better place than Beverly Hills High School? The school had been known for its’ success and talented students, and Ghost’s slowly building athletic ability – despite his want to just be left alone – made him a perfect fit. He stayed silent for his first two years there; spotting patterns and personalities that fit into different “cliques”, deciding which one would be best for him. Eventually, he managed to gather enough information to work his way up into the Preps, dressing in clothes like tight-fitting formal shirts that showed his muscles, and slim, stylish slacks. He fit with the rest of the group like a glove. Of course, in order to impress the Royals – the ones he was truly hoping to “make friends with” – he had to be a bit more out there; more of a slight jackass than the rest. That’s how all the Royals did it, after all. He was so close to getting up there and getting to the top, and he’d settled in quite nicely. Finally, life seemed to be looking up.

That was, until, one day, when he was sixteen.

He and his brother had just come home from school, with his brother having had the more… “eventful” day than Alex. David was belittled and threatened by a group of boys, due to the fact he disagreed with them in class. Instead of opening up and talking to their parents about it, David decided to vent to his brother, instead. This spawned into a heated argument, with David calling Alex “a waste of space”, “useless” and “a mistake”. These insults continued into the next week, until Alex became sick of it. Friday, when the two were at school, David insulting his brother, as usual, Ghost turned around to him and threw everything he had at him. Screaming about how he was ashamed to be related to him and that David “didn’t deserve to live”. His older brother proceeded to punch him in the face, and storm off to class. Of course, this led to Ghost being laughed at and belittled, but that wasn’t even the worst thing.

You see, the worst thing was far worse than that. That night, David never came home. Ghost’s parents sent out a report to the police, but, apart from a few jackasses that enjoyed the suffering of a grieving family, David has never been heard of since. Alex feels guilty for all of this, and thinks that he was responsible for making his brother run away. However, he hides it at school – no point showing your wounds when you’ve already got half the students mocking you. Instead, Ghost became the introverted, antisocial boy he was when he first started school, keeping his head down and hating the world. Though, after a particular talk with Alyssa Green, it seems things are about to change…
