I'd actually say Twitter is like New York City. Word economy is preferred in interactions (the more brief you can be, the better), largely fast paced, and always starting #trends.

Tinder is Vancouver. Everyone attempts to come across as sophisticated and professional, looking to set up long-term connections and prospects, when in reality all anyone wants to do is get high and fuck strangers.

Craigslist is Hong Kong. Bunch of half-baked businesses, professionals, and prostitutes, all trying to make money from each other, but too lazy and cheap to actually advertise.
