I just realized the perfect pet for Jaklo. I didn't give him one because I couldn't think of an animal that would get along with him. I'm gonna give him an animated bear trap.

@Polyphemus Jaklo is neither that blunt or that sharp. A bear trap perfectly embodies his mentality of wait for it then break everything just like a bear trap waits for it then removes everything halfway down your shin.

I think a small puddle of corrosive acid would also fit that description. Or at least just the shin part.

I've finished the next arc's major plot lines and what naught. In the meantime I'm thinking two or three days of in character downtime so after Seph wraps up debriefing you are free to move about the RP.

Side note I"ll be very busy friday and saturday. My girlfriend is coming to town so I'll be uhm... busy... we're going to the zoo, the aquarium, AND the science museum!

We have one slot, but you really have to prove that your character provides something new and interesting to the team while meeting the requirements for the world. (EG. we had someone who wanted to be a ghost, but that wouldn't work with the focus being on Ologists and the expansion of scientific magic. You could however be someone who can do astral projection[I'd put that under ritualist maybe barely knicking the surface of demonology more so looking at it for inspiration than using it])

The concept I wanted to go with is a sort of necromancer-meets-Frankenstein character- the idea is that he was an alchemist trying to complete the Flamels' recipe for the Elixir of Life, but after he suffered a fatal accident, he had to use the products of his various half-completed research projects to preserve his life. So, basically, "alchemically-enhanced lich" is what I was going for. Does that sound like it has potential?

@jasonwolf Put simply, he's bored. He's been alive since the 15th or 16th century, studying magic and alchemy for a way to restore his body back to normal, with little success- the modifications he was forced to make were... extensive. He has a lot of experience and not much to do with it, so working with W&R would give him a chance to use what he's learned in a productive manner, and maybe learn something new in the process.

Long story short, if he's gonna live forever, he might as well make himself useful.
