Background:
Until recently, Selma had been a fairly normal girl. Well, by recently I mean since she was about sixteen. Until then, she grew up in the countryside, a country town a bit of a distance from Bellview. She grew up there, and since her parents were wealthy store owners from the city...well, she turned out somewhat spoiled. Most of her early childhood was spent slacking off, being spoiled, and generally being a brat. Life continued like this for most of her childhood, until one day an odd visitor came to the town.

Being the somewhat curious child she was, she took an interest in this cloaked stranger. It didn't take her long to figure out that this stranger, wasn't exactly your average traveler. She was a witch. You know, like, the magic ones who turned people into toads. Selma was instantly fascinated. It took some coercion to be able to convince the witch to teach her and that she wasn't going to be a nuisance, but eventually she managed it.

Eventually, time passed and she turned eighteen. That was as long as the Witch was going to teach her. She left that day, and told Selma that one day she'd return to see just how far she progressed, and that in the meantime she should go out and explore the world herself to refine her craft. A year passed with no sign of her teacher returning, so when she was nineteen, she moved out and traveled for a bit. Eventually, the young witch ended up in Bellveiw and moved in.

Currently, she runs a small shop where someone can request her magical services if they're desperate lucky enough to pay her a hefty sum catch her in a good mood.

Personality:
Confident, curious, arrogant, somewhat childishly stubborn, impish, and a bit condescending in her demeanor. She's got a mouth on her that is most often put to use for insulting people or otherwise making a nuisance of herself. That said, she's not a completely terrible person. She just doesn't like people getting in the way of her...whatever it is she usually gets up to. She does in fact, wish to help people with her magic, but the fact that she is still in training and often messes up quite a number of spells tends to overshadow that.

To the people who manage to befriend her, they'll have a friend for life, and she'll support them to the best of her ability.

Appearance:
Pale skin with red colored eyes, framed by thick locks of black hair with similarly colored clothing. Indeed, most of her wardrobe consists of darker colored clothes. Often times she wears a fine looking sleeveless dress, along with modern looking boots on her feet. The most striking thing about her wardrobe, however, would be the somewhat ragged black cloak she wears. She's hardly the most physically intimidated of people, though she stands at 5'7" and while she's not all that physically impressive, she's not unfit, either.
