What stands out about Lyra Alvri?

When you hear that name, what would you even expect? If you know about astronomy, you'd know that she was named after one of the many constellations that behold themselves each night. But what do you actually expect? Then again, do you expect anything from someone that you've never even met?

Lyra stands at a mere 5'6", just a little bit below the average height for a female. When you first gaze upon Lyra, you notice her skin. The paleness of her skin that makes you think that she doesn't get out much. The amount of paleness that looks sickly.

She's never been well built. In all of her 20 years of life, no one has ever told her that she looked like she worked out because she just doesn't. There isn't really any visible muscle on Lyra. She's never been one to actually try and fix that part about her because no one has ever told her that she should do so. In fact, her weight is to the point that you'd think she was unwell.

Her eyes are the one thing that actually stand out. Beneath the thick and unruly light brown hair that is slightly wavy lies a pair of soft pink colored eyes. They're light yet the rosy red pink color makes it so that they don't blend in too much with her pale skin. Lyra has soft facial features. Her eyebrows naturally ascending downward and her small pink lips.

Many people hear of a priestess and expect them to be as sweet as candy. However, Lyra isn`t exactly the nicest girl ever. Polite, yes. But she`s quite insensitive, saying what comes to mind before thinking at times. Even if it isn`t sweet. She`s sarcastic and even rude but when it comes down to being confident or timid, she`s more on the timid side. A soft spoken woman with a sharp tongue. She has always been elegant with everything that she does. She even puts on a gentle smile when she`s angry. An irritable girl, yes. But she`s trying to change that. Maybe her way of not filtering things is her reason for not being a fan of people that can`t express what she wants.

Lyra understands her position as a Priestess and makes sure that she helps as much people as she can. But she does not sugarcoat things. When she is in the role of a priestess, she thinks that she is as sweet as can be but the truth may say something else. Outside of the church she doesn`t really give a damn. The way people viewed her has never been important. She knew since she was younger that she could be a bit of a cunt at times. However, she was always as sweet as could be in front of her father. Because her role as a future priestess was important in his eyes. That`s why, she is of course a good girl. She`s played by the rules and helped out some people.

Lyra was born perhaps somewhere outside of Bellview. Maybe somewhere far away with less trees and less farms. Her parents that aren`t really parents dropped her outside of a church in Bellview. It wasn`t a cold and stormy day, nor was it a hot summer day. It was just a day in fall, when the trees were dying yet everything looked that much more beautiful.

She was taken in by a sweet man that was a pastor. He raised her as his own and made sure that he could provide for her. Lyra was never a needy child. She didn`t ask for much and knew that she was indebted to her father for taking her in in the first place. However, she was never satisfied. The church was all she knew. She was home schooled and grew up getting taught about religion first thing in the morning. When her father died, she was devastated. But it wasn`t really a sad occasion. He had taken her in at the age of 40 and was there for her until she was 18.

Lyra made sure that she became a proper priestess, not that she had any choice since her father had been preparing her for it ever since she was 3 years old. She doesn`t really know when she stopped smiling at everyone and pretending to care about their problems but it doesn`t affect her work all that much. Even if she`s not the best person, she`s a good priestess. In her eyes at least.
