Y'all are already at the time limit for posts, and that was before I reduced the time limit from 14 to 10 days. But it is partly my fault since it took me awhile to post. But this goes for all three of you. I'll need a post within two days or your slot goes to someone else waiting.

@Lacks Just so we're clear, how common is it for a user of magic to be able to hear someone else's song? I would imagine it would be a rare and powerful ability that can be used only by those of great power (helpfully ruling out Alice before she can ruin your character dilemma!)

Edit: Maybe at a base level most mages can detect magic, talented ones can read magic and a few gifted users can actually hear it? Often at the loss of sanity due to listening inbetween realities...

@The Fated Fallen I'm assuming that anyone in tune to the flow of mage can detect magic in a basic way but Yaroslav's Mage Guild has turned hearing the flow of magic as music and interpreting its meaning into their main skill/purpose. All members of the guild are taught to hear the flow of mage as songs through concentration techniques. Most people in his guild just sit around reading and writing scholarly papers about interpreting different magic songs. Yaroslav knows how to hear magic songs but his interpretation skills aren't great because he left his studies to serve in the army when he was fairly young. Even for a master interpreting a magic song is an art form and not a science.

Well, I hate to do this (seriously, I do, because I enjoyed your posts) but @VoiD and @TheWizardLizard are out of the RP for going over the extended time limit. Your characters are now NPCs.
@Fetzen You are now allowed to join. In fact, you can just post as if you walked in and were there for the latest post by me, though I would appreciate it if you did write a paragraph on you entering before you sat down with the rest.

I am the best procrastinator in existence. Or rather, the worst at posting as frequently as I ought to. Apologies for that, @POOHEAD189; since I need to post more frequently in Mercenaries too, I'll probably be getting on with that soon. "Soon" hopefully being today, but tomorrow at the latest.
