Once the group arrived to the apartments, others quickly went to check their respective rooms and roommates. Storm waited for a moment, for the initial rush to die down. The group began to dissipate as people decided to embark on their own, little, adventures and Storm stepped up to the plate. His eyes swiftly shuffled down the list, coming to a halt after pinpointing his room and whom he had been paired with.

'Viviana?'... The name had surely drawn a blank. These people were all still complete strangers, just as he was still a shadow in the crowd. He didn't bother himself, too much, trying to pin a face to the name because they would eventually have to meet sooner or later at the room. The only thing he had hoped for was that he had a bearable roommate and that's setting the bar pretty low.

By now, most had already wandered off alone. Storm, on the other hand, chose the path of least resistance. He would first go check out his room, maybe wait a little while in case his roommate shows up. Then they could possibly choose to adventure from there. It would allow them to get to know a little about each other and not stay cooped up in the room, like birds in a cage. This option also served as a security measure. Should anything wild happen -not that he's anticipating it- it's definitely much better to have another person there. Nothing would leave a greater first impression than getting lost in a mysterious, new, world.

Storm noticed a man holding an elevator for any other takers. It didn't seem like there were any others who chose this path and Storm didn't blame them. A goliath stood between them and the quickest route to their room. Storm was a bit on the taller side, but even he would look like a dwarf next to this guy. He couldn't help but imagine the giant as a guardian of the elevator, saying something like 'YOU SHALL NOT PASS!'. The thought forced a chuckle, as he neared the elevator, Xyalor trailing close behind.

Having entered the elevator, Storm couldn't help but look up at the man, gauging the height difference. He had never really felt so tiny in his life. "I'd ask if you're going up, but....by the looks of it you're already there" he said with a playful smile "The name's Storm and this here is Xyalor"

- Vivii -

Vivii looked cautiously about as she found the sheet, she was one of the last ones to get a look at it. Someone named Storm was her roommate. She was quite puzzled, she'd met both and man and a women in the past with that name and she wondered which one this person would be. She pushed her messy blonde hair back behind her ear as she moved towards the elevator. Two men were already inside, one was the exceptionally tall celebrity whom she now couldn't remember the name of. The other however she had not yet met but he was tall as well in comparison to herself though not nearly as tall as the celebrity guy.

Vivii was quite tall or considered to be tall by most of the people she had met, for a woman of course, but she was not even close to being as tall as either of these men. It unnerved her a bit and she suddenly wished that she had heels on, they were a comfort to her. Her height was something that, while most women hated being tall, Vivii found comfort in it. It made other women frightened of or threatened by her generally and men saw her as more equal to them. Despite being nearly five foot nine she was quite delicate looking with high cheekbones and a soft full mouth. With baby blue eyes she watched them carefully for a moment before she headed in the direction of the elevator. After all this running she wouldn't be taking the stairs, not even just to the third floor.

When she realized the taller man was about to let the doors close she rushed her steps, glad for her gracefullness as she moved quickly towards them as she called out, "Hold on a sec!" She moved as quickly as possible without actually jogging towards them, Laila close behind her while her finches remained carefully tucked away on her shoulder, their bright red breasts showing through the curtain of her pale blonde hair. She smiled disarmingly as she entered the elevator, hiding in the furthest corner from the back putting her head down to look at her grey and purple Nike tennis shoes.

Laila was curled around her feet and Vivii found herself smiling at the little dragon. "Ma chérie, tu es si jolie." She murmured to the shimmering white dragon, her four wings fluttering easily as she looked around at the others. She looked carefully at the two men, her blue eyes that very nearly matched Vivii's in color. She spoke carefully, trying to articulate the words fully as she spoke, "I Laila. My Vivii" The little dragon gestured to Vivii, by throwing up a golden clawed foot.

- Niall -

Niall chuckled as the young man cracked a joke about his height, it was something he was quite used to. "Niall Collins, this is Allaire." His voice was a deep rumble and he was caught a bit off guard when he heard another voice that was light and slightly accented with what he recognized as french. It was the blonde he had admired at the dinner table earlier. Her voice was like something he had never heard, smooth and melodious as well as warm. It was just the opposite of her behavior though.

He nodded quietly at her when she entered the elevator but she didn't offer to speak to them, instead keeping her eyes down and speaking to the little dragon that had curled carefully around her legs. He didn't have any clue what she had said but it was obviously in french. He was startled for the second time in nearly as many minutes when the beautiful dragon she had with her spoke instead of her. Speaking her own name as well as the woman's. "Well it is lovely to meet the both of you, beautiful names for two beautiful creatures." He smiled easily down at the others, he had been this tall since he was around seventeen when he'd had a growth spurt. It wasn't until his early twenties though that he would fill out and become the massive giant that he was today, hitting the gym hard and long certainly hadn't hurt earlier. Neither had his tendency towards training in MMA. He outsized most of his opponents by quite a lot but the sport had taught him not to underestimate people even when they were smaller.

She looked so delicate, her wrists were positively tiny as were the ankles she displayed in her capri length work out pants. He was quite sure that if he got too close or touched her that he would break her simply by accident, like a beautiful glass sculpture. He shook his head internally, he wasn't here to fall for a woman he barely knew or fall for any woman at all for that matter.

Jo looked up at the massive building before her and then down at the dragon by her feet. Bane was pouncing on the bugs that flew up as the grass was stirred. Jo couldn't help but grin at the playful antics of the little forest dragon. "come on, Bane," she whispered and picked up the dragon. Her fingers brushed the soft mossy patches along his sides. "Let's get up to the room. I'd like to see what belonging of mine have been brought here since I packed next to nothing!" She rolled her eyes and let Bane scamper up onto her right shoulder and his long tail curled around her neck, draping down over her left arm.

She watched a group of people pile into the elevator, but decided to take the stairs. She didn't do well with a lot of people in tight spaces, and she really didn't like elevators. Jo and Bane walked up the stairs, pausing to read the signs with directions on them so they wouldn't get too lost. She remembered she was sharing a room with Niall. Wasn't that the guy she talked to at dinner? She couldn't remember very well. Jo scrunched her nose up at Bane and sighed. "I hope this doesn't end badly."

The small dragon cocked his head to the side and chirped loudly, clicking his sharp teeth together. She pushed open the door to exit the stairwell and walked slowly down the long hall until she found the room number. It didn't seem that anyone was here yet. Pushing the door open slowly, she peered into the empty room. It was a magnificent apartment. Open concept with a large sitting room, kitchen and what appeared to be two bedrooms, each on opposite sides of the room.

Jo took the one on the left, trudging into the room and letting Bane jump from her shoulder and onto the bed with a sound that seemed like laughter. Jo grinned down at the dragon and flopped onto the bed beside him. "Welcome home, Little Bane, welcome home."

Graeden Yourshaw

"Well that was a partial waste of time," Graeden said with slight disappointment as he and Apollyon made there was up a staircase. After an hour or so of thumping his head realizing he had bit off more then he could chew, he had called it quits on trying to read what was pretty much gibberish at the moment. The language barrier was going to take a little more to over come then he had first anticipated. Apollyon followed next to him, not entire pleased she had to walk but at the same time after a failed attempt of trying to get on Graeden shoulders, it was decided best that they would walk on foot. While just born, she was far heavier then he thought she would of been. He had joked that if she had weighed that much all ready no telling how big she was going to be later which resulted in her making an attempt at nipping his ear like she had previously in the day.

Shortly after that incident a thought dawn on Graeden, he still had no idea what type of dragon Apollyon was. She had tried to tell him through their connection but the word was to difficult for her at the time. At least in one of the books there were pictures so he brought it with him. The book seemed to be about different types of dragons if the images were anything to go by. He figured he would play a game of point and guess with Apollyon to determine what she was.

"Jeesh you think we could of gotten a room on a lower floor," he joked reaching the floor that their room was on. Upon reaching the floor he noticed a set of sliding doors along one of the walls ",Of course there was an elevator I didn't notice." Apollyon gave an annoyed growl at him."Hey you didn't know either," Graeden replied as they continued down the hall. Eventually they came across their room:

Room 312
Graeden Yourshaw
Eun-mi Seong

"Well here's our stop," Graeden said opening the door, as he opened it, it sounded like the person he was sharing the space with was all ready there. He walked inside looking at the interior briefly before walking down the hall. He stopped looking at his name on a brass plate similar to the one that marked the apartment door. He was about to enter his when he noticed the other open and couldn't kill the curiosity inside him as he looked in.

"Boy it seems like a war happened in here," he said aloud looking inside. Seeing who he assumed was Eun-mi Seong inside he quickly apologized."Forgive the sudden intrusion but just wanted to meet the person I'd be sharing the apartment with. I'm Graeden Yourshaw." He felt something nudge at his leg and he looked down."Oh yes, this is Apollyon," he added.

Apollyon remained near Graeden looking within before looking up at Graeden."Friend?" she ask to which he nodded. Or he at least hoped she would be since they were going to be sharing the apartment.

Eun-mi had begun to fold some of the clothes around her in an attempt to clean the mess up when she heard the apartment door open. Loud footsteps made their way towards the two bedrooms, and she caught a glimpse of her new roommate through her cracked door. A second later it swung open, revealing a blond man accompanied by a dark colored dragon. The man made a comment about the state of the room before introducing himself and his dragon, and Eun-mi could only nod slowly as the dragon began to ask if she was a friend. "I'm Eun-mi. Sorry about the mess. It was like this when I arrived." She got up and walked to the door, looking over her new roommate like one would gauge the cover of a book to get a glimpse of the stories it held. "My dragon isn't here at the moment. He's currently enjoying himself in the ground floor pool. More thoroughly than I would have imagined actually." She glanced down and raised an eyebrow at the book in Graeden's hands. It was leather bound with bright golden trim. Foreign characters adorned the cover and below sat an etching of two regal looking dragons. "A book about dragons? Could I look at that when you're done? I was trying to find the library but went to the wrong area. This place is very confusing. Oh!" She quickly tapped her forehead with her palm and turned around. "Speaking of confusing, are these yours?" Eun-mi grabbed the pile of strange hangers and held them up towards Graeden, "I found these over here and they're not mine at all. Did the dragons or whomever give me your stuff by accident?" The hangers clacked loudly in her hands as Eun-mi gave a sheepish smile. She really hoped these were his. If these hangers weren't his, or any of the others, then where the hell did they come from?! This mystery was driving her insane.

Ronnie

She could only sneer as she felt eyes on her after her little remark. Ronnie was a grown woman; she wasn't going to apologize for her actions, nor was she going to hold her tongue. So what if other people took offense to her statements? Wasn't in her nature to be polite. Just because somebody finally realized her importance in the world, didn't mean that she was going to change who she was.

And of course her darling brother would have to strike up a conversation with the teacher's pet. Ronnie could barely contain a gag at the very idea of the two of them together. It was just like her brother to swoop in and smooth everything over. Right his sister's wrongs, if you would. He had been doing that their entire lives. It was starting to become quite pathetic. She didn't need her brother to reprimand her, nor to apologize for her. Maybe this would finally be the time that they could start to live apart from one another.

It would begin with the room arrangements. As Ronnie made her way up to the sheet, she scrunched her nose in disgust. "Seriously? You put me with a guy? Guys are horrible to live with." It did meet her approval that her brother was far enough away from her, though. With another shake of her head, she ran a hand through her brown locks. "Well. Looks like brother dearest gets to hang around the special student. Now...Who's this Allan person?"

Feeling a nudge on the back of her knee, she rose a brow and looked down to see both heads staring up at her. With a smirk, she shrugged her shoulders. "Let's go meet the person who will make me absolutely miserable during our stay here, shall we?" With a small double snicker from the dragon, she headed off to her room.

On arrival, her eyes moved about the apartment. Her eyes landed on her room and she let out a sigh once she noticed all her luggage. Hurrying over, she could hear the stomps from her new pet. "Well, boys. Looks like it's just me and you for the moment. We'll meet this Allan guy later, I suppose. For now, it's nap time." Falling backwards onto her bed, she watched as her dragon laid at the side of her headboard. With a grin, her eyes drifted closed.

Vince

Vince barely had time to speak with the blonde before she hurried off to the sheet. It was endearing to him that she was french. It was a beautiful country and one of the many languages he happened to be fluent in. With a small grin, he watched her hurry off as he scratched at the back of Lotan's neck. Seeing her head into the elevator, it was as if he was completely captivated. Then again, seeing the man whom she shared the ride with kind of set him back a pace. Definitely some stiff competition.

With a shake of his head, he made his way over the sheet after seeing his sister stomp off. Apparently she wasn't too thrilled with her room mate. The thought made him chuckle, knowing that whomever was stuck with her was definitely in for one hell of a time. Looking the sheet over, he raised a brow. "Alright, Lotan...We are in Apartment 350 with some guy named Nate. Was he one of the brothers?"

The dragon tilted his head in confusion and Vince swore he saw the animal's shoulders shrug. With a grin, he shrugged as well. "Well. How nice of the either of us to pay attention." He chuckled and shook his head. "Might as well go up to the room. See if any of my luggage is here so I can get out of these wet pants."

The duo caught the next elevator and were soon on to their new living quarters. His eyes caught sight of blonde hair as he turned to his room. Apparently they weren't that far apart from each other. He gave a small grin at the thought before heading into his room. Seeing that his room mate had already arrived, Vince cleared his throat and gave a swift nod of his head. "Hey. You must be Nate. I'm Vince, and this here is Lotan."

Allan

While Allan was trying to go the opposite direction of his room his feet had another plan for him and before he knew it he was standing in front of his doorway that he just watched a girl with her two headed dragon enter. Oh, so she's Veronica. I'm suddenly not ready for this again, as if I ever was. Al held onto the items that Soreth had found along the way, mainly lost jewelry from years past and other shiny trinkets. He already knew his dragon was going to be a hoarder so decided that his closet, if he has one, will be where he will let Soreth stash her treasure.

Soreth watches Allan in curiosity as he hesitates to enter the room. She already knew that getting him to socialize with people may need a little bit of a...push. So, at that thought, Soreth obviously nudges her human closer to the door.

"Easy there! Alright, alright, I'll go in okay?" Allan spoke a bit louder than he normally did due to being caught off guard by the push. With a deep breath he opens the door and peeks in. It looked like nobody was there, or at least nobody was in the main area that would be open to the both of them. Perfect, now I can hold off any awkward introductions, the red head mumbles before adjusting his glasses and going to a room with his name on it. He quickly but quietly walks to the room and opens the door, a sigh of relief leaving him as he sees his own luggage in a neat pile in the corner. Looking around Allan saw that, to his surprise, his two rats were in there cage in another corner of his room (as I assume pets are allowed since Vivi has birds). Quickly he goes to his closet to drop off Soreth's findings and once he turns around he sees the mountain dragon sniffing the cage.
"Food?" Soreth thinks with a look to Allan.
Even more quickly than before, Allan moves over to the cage. "No, not food. Pets...umm...friends. They're...my friends." He murmurs in a soft voice, a bit embarrassed that his only friends were two rats. Al walks over to the cage and opens it. Instantly his black eyed white rat and agouti rat both climb on his arms and take place on his shoulders. "Don't attack them, okay Soreth?"
Soreth nods and goes over to her small pile of shiny trinkets in the closet while Allan starts unpacking with his pets sitting on either shoulder.

Nate

Nate had been looking around the apartment as he awaited for his new roommate to arrive. Already he had figured out which room was designated for which person and was about to see if there were any snacks there when he hears someone walk in and introduce himself. The light brown haired male turns around to see Vince and Lotan before Xalanth instantly starts sniffing the stranger and his dragon.
"Nice to finally meet you Vince, my name is obviously Nate." He nods back with a smile. "It looks like we're going to be roommates for awhile, huh? What's your thought on suddenly having a dragon at your side?" Nate didn't like too small of a talk so instantly asked the question he had been wanting to ask everyone all day. He was curious to know what other people thought about all this.

Graeden Yourshaw

Graeden looked at the hangers perplexed by them."Unfortunately I must tell you those are not mine," he said ",I have yet to even look in my room and I'm now starting to fear on what will meet me when I do." He could only imagine what waited for him, even when he had packed for the trip itself. Now he wouldn't be surprised to find his stuff had been messed with after seeing Eun-mi's room.

"I shall agree the place is confusing it took awhile to find the library itself. I'm just glad I was able to find this among everything else. Until the lessons start most of what seems to be in them involve their draconic language," he continued starting to open the book while still holding it ",Hopefully this gives insight on what Apollyon is since 'sparky-boom' is not a very good indicator on what she is." He looked at Apollyon who shrieked at him in annoyance and walked off."I'll just be out in the living quarters." With that he made his wait out to the living area, and sat himself down on the sofa as he scanned through the book at the pictures. Most showed fully grown dragons so he couldn't judge what she was by that. Luckily enough they also had what their eggs looked like for each creature which he could use, still remembering Apollyon's egg that she hatched from only hours before.

It was quite intriguing to see the many kinds of dragons in a collection that was refined, if only he understood half the words on the pages so he could read more into each one. They varied as much as people seemed to vary. Eventually he came across the image he was looking for, having a 'eureka' moment to himself as he slightly stood up the sofa and said "That's it!" in a hushed tone. He looked at the word for a second before piecing it together."So that's what you meant by shocky-boom."

He had discovered she was a Storm dragon and going by the image she was going to have quite the growth spurt at some point. He jumped in surprise again as he felt something brush against his leg. He looked down to see it was Apollyon."Ah there you are, I was wondering where you ran off after your fit," he said and showed her the image ",That's what you are going to be fully grown. Now to just wait and see if you are a lightning storm dragon, or a thunder storm dragon. We'll see as you grow I'm sure." Apollyon looked up at him, herself not sure at the moment really which of the two she was only that she was going to look magnificent fully grown.

Storm noticed one of the girls rushing towards to the elevator and adjusted his position, as to make more room for the girl and her dragon. Had Storm and the giant failed in the kindness department, Storm would surely place a wager, in his mind, whether or not the girl would make it to the elevator in time. Though that is not the case, if Niall didn't hold the door, Storm would have.

Upon entering the elevator, the girl began speaking in another tongue. Quite frankly, Storm didn't know how to respond. A puzzled look was shot at Niall, with hopes that he'd be able to translate, but it didn't seem like he could. Shortly after the girl spoke, her dragon gave an introduction. After mentioning their names, Storm had a brief flashback to when they were in the incubation chamber. More specifically, he recalled the girl who hatched a 'special' dragon. That same girl was his roommate?

Unlike Niall's, Storm's response was far from a display of gallantry. He couldn't believe his luck. Out of all people he could've been paired with, it had to be his rival. It was a friendly rivalry, even if she wasn't aware of it yet. The thought caused, what seemed to be uncontrollable, laughter to erupt from Storm.

Nearly half the ride up to the third floor having been spent laughing, Storm finally gets a good grip on himself. Xyalor looked up at him with an odd look. Surely he was just as confused as the others would be. Storm smiled at his crystal-dragon "Out of all the people...Remember what we must do". He said this to Xyalor, as if completely forgetting, for a moment, that there were others in the elevator. The world seemed to come to a standstill, as the two stared at each other. Xyalor had yet to say a single word, since being hatch, but words were not needed between the two. Storm just had a feeling that they were on the same page. The pair had the same glow in their eyes, the burning passion to be the best.

The elevator had reached its destination, the door slid open, and the pair snapped back to reality. Storm and Xyalor exited the elevator and turned around. "Don't be bother some and stay out of my way. Just because we're roomed together doesn't mean we'll be friends..." Storm said with a rather dark glare shot at Vivi. Xyalor seemed to play along, with his chest puffed out, acting tough, as if saying 'Yeah! You don't want these problems'. Though before anything got taken too seriously, Storm chuckled "...I'm just messing around, I hope we do get along roomie!"

Going to the room first was really more of an excuse to meet his roommate, assuming that they had not chosen to adventure first. Now that he's found her in the elevator, his enthusiasm for going to check out the room has dropped, drastically. He was sure the accommodations would be luxurious, just as everything else they've seen, so far. The only thing that Storm really cared about was that there was a roof above their heads and a place to sleep. He would hate to have wasted the trip as well, so he proposes a plan to the others "How about we go check out these rooms, real quick, then meet up for a little adventure?"

Vivii had been content to stare at the toes of her Nike's for the duration of the trip, her finches cooing softly in her ear as she rested. However, when Laila introduced them and Niall spoke she glanced up briefly through her lashes. She gave a soft subtle nod as she looked at him, blue eyes darting back to the floor. It was when the other man actually spoke that her head jerked up, telling her they wouldn't be friends of any sort. Then he said he was joking, she scrunched her nose softly with confusion in her wide blue eyes. She'd always known that she was painfully easy to read, other people were a different story though. She sunk her gaze to the floor again, praying to every God and Goddess she could come up with that the ride would be short and she could find somewhere to hide with her new dragon and her finches.

The ride, much to her dismay, drug on for what seemed to be an eternity as she fidgeted nervously. She couldn't imagine why everyone disliked her so plainly, just before the doors opened the same guy who had said he didn't want to be friends then laughed and claimed to be joking suggested they all meet up. "I, uh, I don't think I'll be, um, coming along." Vivii stammered nervously, hoping they wouldn't require a reason from her. As soon as the doors opened she shot past them, only pausing to open the door to the apartment she would be sharing with someone who she wasn't sure even cared that she existed. Laila was close behind her, galloping behind her to keep up.

The apartment was luxurious, like a penthouse suite. A full kitchen inside just past the living room and one bedroom on each end of the place. She darted instinctively to the left, the direction of her own bedroom in her previous apartment. She jerked the door open only to find it was filled with things that didn't belong to her. Letting out a low groan she headed quickly for the other end of the apartment, hoping she wouldn't be caught before she hid in her room behind a locked door. Her anxiety, keeping her in a near panic as she moved, blue eyes wide. "I'll just hide until he leaves then find somewhere to get something to drink." She muttered quietly as she moved through the apartment, graceful even in her panicked state.

- Niall -

Niall was quite startled when the other guy had started laughing Niall gave him a bit of a look. It was his comment to the tiny blonde that really got to him though, could the guy not tell she was horribly nervous? It irked him a bit but he brushed it off initially. At least until the girl; Vivii, as the dragon had introduced her, darted out around him. She was practically running, moving as quickly as her legs would carry them away from her. He briefly considered stopping her, reaching out and grabbing one of her tiny wrists but he didn't want to frighten her even worse. He simply shook his head as he watched her flee.

"I'm not opposed to the idea. I would suggest being a little more careful about your word choices around her though. Especially if you want her to actually like you, just speaking from experience." Niall chose his words carefully, attempting to offer just friendly advice and not sound like he was giving orders as he was so used to doing. He offered up a smile, hoping that the other man would understand his intention.

He headed in the direction of his own room, or apartment rather. It had been an incredibly long time since he had lived in anything smaller than a large home, especially with someone else in the immediate vicinity. It made him cringe slight as he opened the door, hoping this went well. The inside was modern and though all the furniture was luxury and high quality as he was used to it was minimalist in style. He quickly found his room, Allaire following behind him as he looked around the place briefly before heading back out into the hallway to wait for Storm. He was pretty sure the petite blonde wouldn't be coming along with them.

"Oomph!" The girl's eyes opened quickly as a hand flew to her stomach. She narrowed her eyes and looked over at the two heads watching her. Raising a brow, she tilted her head at their guilty stare. "Okay. Which one of you hit me?" She watched as the two heads studied each other before rejecting her question. Jax nudged her hand with his purple snout while Pyre turned his ivory head towards the door with a sniff. Ronnie slowly rose to a sitting position as she looked towards her bedroom door. She could hear someone mulling about and...was that a squeaking noise?

She slipped her legs from the bed and rose to a standing position. Absently scratching the back of Jax's head, she tried to look towards her room mate's bedroom door. The word 'food' popped into her head and she looked back down towards her dragon, where now both heads were staring eagerly towards the door. Ronnie blinked and raised a brow. "What does he have that you two are so interested in?"

Walking out of her room, she ran her fingers through her hair to straighten it. She could hear Pyre and Jax trotting behind her. With a tilt of her head, she peered into Allan's open room. Her eyes scanned the room before landing on the man himself, and the two rats on his shoulders. Ronnie squealed and jumped back, her dragon hungrily moving to his door. "Rats! Holy hell, what the fu- Why the hell are there rats on you?!"

Vince

Raising an eyebrow at the man's dragon, he watched as it interacted with Lotan. He gave a small throaty chuckle when the two started to play with each other. It made things a lot easier knowing that the two dragons would get along. Realizing he was being spoken to, he returned his attention back to the man in front of him. Stuffing his hands into his front pockets, he slightly shrugged his shoulders. "Honestly, I'm still getting used to the whole 'dragons are real' thing. I mean, my sister and I own an antique shop and we find weird things all the time...But never anything amounting to this. This whole situation is surreal."

Hearing footsteps pass the open apartment door, he raised a brow and looked over his shoulder into the hallway. He could see the tall man from earlier waiting with his dragon down by the french girl's door. Vince raised a brow and cleared his throat before once more looking at Nate. "Sorry to cut this short, but Lotan and I are gonna check out the grounds a little while we still have time. You know, meet the neighbors and such." With a nod of his head, he pat the top of Lotan's head before they both headed into the hallway. He headed down until finally reaching the apartment in question. With a small nod to Niall, he scratched the back of his head before peering inside. He grinned upon seeing the frazzled woman. "Bonjour, mademoiselle. Est-ce que tu vas bien?"

Allan was distracted by the job of putting away his clothes when Soreth suddenly runs out of the closet, by him, and makes a loud growl-hiss type sound with her wings spread out. From surprise of his dragon and the sounds of his roommate speaking Al jumped up and quickly turned to face his door. This was not the way he hoped to meet his roommate. Not. At. All.
Allan feels his rats hide in his shirt as he scans the scene before him, trying to figure out what to settle first. He saw smoke leaving Soreth's nostrils as she tries to keep the hungry two headed dragon away, assuming that amount of smoke wasn't a sign of happiness he decides to deal with his dragon first. "Soreth, calm down. It's okay." Al tried to put on his strongest and most manly voice he could but as anxiety built up in his body he was sounding more and more feminine by the second. Luckily Soreth calmed down and moved her rust brown body back to Allan, sitting beside him as she eyed the other dragon.

The red haired boy, deciding Soreth was calmed down enough now, decides to finally acknowledge the girl standing at his doorway. "Didn't you know? I'm practically Cinderella." He mentally slaps himself for that pun before smiling a little and trying again, "the name's Allan. And these rats are my pets, raised them since they were small. They are not food, got it?" Al says as he glances to the girl's dragon, Soreth huffing a puff of smoke as she glares at it. "I don't raise feeders, these two are shoulder rats and follow me everywhere because they're great stress reliefs. Plus they know some cool tricks! And are much more sophisticated than you may think." He looks back at the girl with a serious look, despite being surprised he talked this much in front of a new person.

Nate

"It is a bit surprising, I bet my brother is having the time of his life though with knowing they exist," Nate chuckles a little before Vince said he was going to check the place out. He watches as Vince and Lotan leave, glancing down at Xalanth as the storm dragon whined a little. "Don't worry Xal, we'll see them again soon enough. We're roommates, remember?" At this Xalanth perks up, happy sparks going around his body before he nudges Nate. "You want to look around too? Alright. I suppose we can spare the time now that we know where our room is," Nate smiles down at Xalanth before stepping out. He watches as Vince goes to talk to one of the neighbors and decides to look around in the other direction for now. The two walked side-by-side as they ventured out to find something fun to do before it got too late.

With a sigh, Eun-mi watched as her new roommate left the room and go about his own business. She looked down at the hangers before walking out to the front door and tossing them into a new pile in the hallway. A few seconds later she was back with a piece of paper covered in large writing.
Mystery Hangers: Who owns these?
A few more of her new neighbors were entering their apartments and she hoped that MAYBE one of them would take these hangers off her hands finally. If not...well she didn't know what to do then. A new art project maybe? The idea didn't appeal to her, but it was at least something. She quickly returned to her room and continued cleaning, eager to get the mess out of the way.

Meanwhile, Darthun was wrapping up his swim session. He easily climbed out of the pool, shaking off like a dog and sending water flying everywhere. He flicked his tongue a few times, tasting the air for Eun-mi but to no avail. Confused to where she now was he began his way back to the entrance, but stopped when he noticed the same wild growth outside as his owner did earlier. Flicking his tongue again he could sense magic. He walked a bit further and found a cracked doorway. The strong scent of grass and flowers drew him outside. The weeds and grasses gently brushed against his scales as he walked further from the building. As he grew closer he could smell a girl and a dragon nearby. But where were they? Once he reached the very edge of the growth he stopped. It was too thick for a hatchling such as himself to enter. Darthun paced back and forth for a few minutes, trying once to pull on the thick vines with his teeth before stopping. He let out a huff and bit again, the vine was tough, but snapped after a few minutes of chewing. The urge to know what was within the center of the growth drew him, so once again he tried. Snap! Snap! Vines continued to give way but soon Darthun grew tired. He took another step forward, but then suddenly fell. A vine had caught his leg, but now he had to strength to free himself. Exhausted and missing Eun-mi, he began to give a low whine. Maybe someone would hear him, he hoped. He laid there and rested, but every once in a while he would whine and hope his companion would help him.

Emma

@Aurliena Nova

The vines were overgrowing even faster now, starting to wrap around Emma's arms and legs. She twisted and turned, only succeeding in toppling over, the tendrils chafing her skin like ropes. Beside her, Maia thrashed around, speaking more of those power words. Some of the vines loosened. Emma pulled herself free, fighting her way through the growth, as Maia chewed and clawed at the tendrils.

Snap! To the side of the two of them, a vine fell. Glancing over, Emma gave a sigh of relief that came out as a breathless laugh. It was the dragon from earlier, Eun-mi's dragon. "Darthun!" she called. She stared in shock as the dragon whined and slumped to the ground. "You're not hurt, are you?" She wriggled through the thicket as Maia continued to snap the vines with her teeth and claws, uttering power words in between bites.

The growth was receding now, vines shrinking to their usual length. Still trembling with shock, Emma leaned down and tentatively placed her hand on Darthun's head. "Oh, Darthun, I'm sorry... I-I didn't know what I was doing there..." she blurted. "Thanks, both of you." She looked from Darthun to Maia. "Thanks for helping out."

Maia crouched, wings drooping, looking up at Emma with wide, guilty eyes. Emma hurt? she asked, her attention shifting to the red marks on the girl's arms.

"Don't worry," Emma reassured the dragon. "It's not too bad. And this wasn't your fault." The marks stung, but the injuries could have been worse. "Are you ok?" Maia gave a nod of her head. "Stay here with Darthun," she told Maia. "I'll go and find Eun-mi." She took a few shuddering steps out of the tall grass and rushed back into the building.

No sign of her anywhere... Maybe she hadn't left her dorm, but if that were the case, why would Darthun have been out and about? After a frantic search through the halls, Emma decided she might as well try anyway. Once she found the door with Eun-mi's name on it, she knocked several times. "Eun-mi? Are you in there?"

Graeden Yourshaw

After the discovery of what Apollyon was, Graeden had decided to try and look at the other species of dragons, figuring it would be useful later down the line. He had been engrossed so much in the book he was startled when he heard a knock on the door. He regained his composure swiftly, and left the book on the stand next to the plush sofa. He heard a voice from the other side, sounding to be looking for Eun-mi. Upon reaching the door he opened it to see who was knocking.

Standing in front of him was Emma if he remembered earlier introductions correctly."Oh you looking for Eun-mi, I'll go get her, if you want come in," he said turning around and heading back into the apartment and down to Eun-mi's room. The door closed he gave a slight knock.

"Eun-mi, Emma's here and needs to talk to you about something," he said through the door hopefully loud enough for her to hear.

While Graeden had been doing that, Apollyon had slipped out passed Emma deciding she was done sitting around the apartment. If Graeden needed her she figured he'd come looking. She made her way down several flight of stairs reaching the main floor of the building. She spotted two other dragons off to the side, one having the scent of Emma, the other slightly of Eun-mi, curious on what was going on she made her way over to them.

- Viviana -

Vivii was only a step away from the hallway when a figure appeared in the doorway causing her to curse softly in french at her poor luck. It wasn't until the figure spoke her native language that she jerked her head up, blue eyes wide. Her irises were nearly sterling silver in color ringed with a darker ocean blue along the outside edge. The panic that covered her face softened slightly when she saw it was the guy who had spoken to her earlier in the day, in the incubation cavern just before they left. This was a much better and safer option than the man from the elevator, her roommate. She shuddered briefly just considering the fact that the man who seemed to already hate her, no more or perhaps less than the snarky girl from before. She closed her eyes briefly, using a technique to calm herself she had learned as a child, something to ground her. Five things, she needed five things; the sound of Laila breathing softly beside her, the softness of the baby blue button down against her skin, the smell of the vanilla and chocolate perfume she always wore, the taste of the cinnamon gum in her mouth. Lastly her eyes flickered open, looking up at the man in the doorway and peering at his hazel eyes. It all took less than a minute, twenty or thirty seconds at most but it kept her from losing her shit as she'd been so close to doing before.

She gave a bit of a sad smile before she replied, "Je vais bien, merci." She paused briefly before adding as she looked away from him, "I am, how do you say, not well with crowds. Especially around people I do not know." She scrunched her face softly, cringing at the thought. She took several graceful steps forward, towards Vince as she glanced back up at him. She would have looked over his shoulder to ensure her roommate wasn't going to enter anytime soon but Vince's broad frame filled the doorway. She pushed several tendrils of wavy blonde hair back behind her ear when she was just a foot or so away from him.

Twisting her pink lips around into a wry sort of smile that gave away her discomfort for the situations that had occurred before now, Vivii stood partially still. Her finches sleeping softly at her neck, even when she was moving about they often kept close to her simply out of habit. "I met my roommate in the elevator, he doesn't seem to be very fond of me." She admitted softly as she looked up at him, truly looking up despite her height. She often confused people with her delicate slender features that contrasted starkly with her height. She was still quite a bit shorter than Vince though, wringing her hands together in front of her taut stomach just below her chest. In her haste she hadn't realized that several of the lower buttons on her shirt had come undone, revealing a flat stomach covered in soft lightly caramelized skin when she brought her hands up. People, even the reserved people of her home country, were forever telling her that she looked like a fragile ballerina.

Eun-mi had finished cleaning up most of the room when she heard a pair of voices calling for her. She opened her door to see Graeden and Emma standing there. A look of surprise shot across Eun-mi's face when she saw the two in front of her room, but the surprise turned into confusion when she looked at Emma.
"Emma," She began, "You have some leaves stuck in your hair." Her hand rose up and made a motion, gesturing towards her head. "Did you guys need me for something?"

Emma

@Aurliena Nova @Argetlam350

"Thanks," Emma said, following Graeden, still out of breath. As soon as she saw Eun-mi, the words came out in a rush.

"Darthun... he needs you, he isn't well... I-I tried doing something, I cast a spell, Maia tried to teach me, it went wrong, I said it wrong... plants wouldn't stop growing, Darthun helped get me out, but..." Emma stopped babbling and took a deep breath. "He's outside, with Maia. I think he's just tired." She clung to the hope that it was nothing serious. She'd never imagined things could go sour this quickly.

She turned to head out again, waiting for Eun-mi to follow. Now, parts of this world seemed just as dangerous as they were fascinating. What had she expected, really? The rest of nature could be described that way, why would anything be different here?

Eun-mi's eyes narrowed in confusion and concern. "A spell?" The word tumbled around in her head. What kind of spell? Was Darthun alright? She followed Emma outside towards the field. There were still a few large plants around, but most had shrunk down to nearly their regular size. Darthun lay in the grass covered in some vines next to Maia, but he raised his head and looked over as soon as he heard the two approaching. "Darthun! Are you alright?!" She ran up to him and place a hand gently on his side. Up close she noticed many of the vines were snapped, all but for the one wrapped around his leg. She quickly removed it and Darthun let out a whine. "Tired!" He rested his head back on the ground and sighed. Eunmi gave a small smile and pat him on the head. "Alright, come upstairs and you can sleep." The dragon begrudgingly got up and began to walk back to the castle. Eun-mi turned to Emma a looked at her with apprehension. "What kind of powerful magic have we already gotten into? This seems dangerous."

Ronnie

She could barely register the growling noises Pyre and Jax were making. Her eyes blinked in confusion as she watched the boy interact with his pets. No, rats. They were rats. Rodents. A definite meal for her fire-breathing pet. Her jaw was slightly agape as she continued to stare at him. When her brain caught up to her mouth, Ronnie scrunched her nose. "Honey, they're rats."

The girl quickly took another step back when she noticed one moving. Her dragon stayed in the same place, daring the other dragon to advance on them. Two heads were always better than one, you see. Her nose scrunched further in disgust and she quickly shook her head. "Uh uh. This is not cool. This is not okay. I am not living in an apartment that is infested." She backed away from the door. "Pyre, Jax. Let's go. We have a room assignment to change."

Quickly turning from the room, her and her dragon pet hurried from the apartment in search of the large dragon in charge.

Vince

His breath caught in his throat when the girl looked his way. Her eyes were truly hypnotic and he couldn't help but to break out a sideway grin. Vince allowed his eyes to trail over her for the briefest of moments to not seem rude. The girl was truly different than the local California girls he usually spent his time with. She had to know how absolutely stunning she was; and yet, she seemed to be in the midst of having a panic attack. Raising a brow as he studied her, he watched as she closed her eyes and seemed to focus. Her breathing seemed deeper, almost concentrated. Definitely a technique to ward off panic. And then she opened those silver eyes of hers and looked straight at him. It almost knocked him off guard.

Her reply to his question returned his attention to the current situation and he replied once more with a stupid grin. She took a few steps towards her and he couldn't help but notice the hint of skin at the bottom of her shirt. With a tilt of his head, he returned his attention to her face and realized she was speaking to him. Vince's eyes briefly glanced at the birds resting at the nape of her neck before he once more looked at their owner. At her last statement, he raised a brow in doubt. He spoke before he could stop himself. "Who in their right state of mind wouldn't be fond of you?" Realizing his slip of tongue, he straightened and cleared his throat. "I mean, you seem like a very nice girl. It's just surprising, is all."

As she moved her hands up, the once hint of skin became more open to the public eye. He glanced at the contrast of color against her shirt before quickly averting his eyes. It was extremely rude of him to be checking her out while she was obviously having a hard enough time speaking with him. He could feel Lotan nudging the back of his knee with his scaly head and with a soft chuckle, Vince leaned his hand back to rub his pet's head. With a thought, he turned back to the girl and gave her a warm grin. "Vivii, right? Vivii, would you and Laila like to join Lotan and I for a stroll through the grounds? I'm sure it won't be crowded and it'll give us all a chance for some fresh air."
