It gives you a high, then a low, and escape becomes more difficult the longer you keep taking it.

well. according to my husband, I've been using it as an excuse to be a bitch when I haven't had it.
But I only drink one cup a day. i dont drink any other caffeine unless we go out to dinner and i get a soda instead of water.
But he wants me to quit so i stop relying on it.

@Carantathraiel Ah, you make me feel like quitting caffeine too. I had too much during the sem break that now I had to re-adjust my sleep schedule. Plus, too much writing actually burned my brain this time too, lol.

Well, I had a literal but good writing marathon over the vacation... I'm not gonna try that ever again, though.

Likely because...

#1: Your body has become so use to being caffeinated that one cup doesn't bring on the "boost" anymore.

#2: It was a weak cup of Joe. (too much water, too few beans, etc)

#3: IT WAS DECAF!

Maybe school coffee just sucks... It definitely wasn't decaf, though.
