To be fair, Xane died for being reckless and disobeying an order.

And was dead before Jason left that battlefield.

Alrighty. Cause yeah, Jason left at the last moment. It was like Jason gave new order as they were finishing up, Xane died as Jason fired his thrusters to dock with the ship, he docked and others exploded as they tried to leave. He was already breaking down from losing bro, then lost it on the trip over the rest of his squad.

Also the picture he has is the whole squad. They were close.

I wanted to retrospectively edit that if you don't mind because I wanted the scene to have more impact for Serah, but it might not have been the brightest of ideas in retrospect. I'll just add another picture alongside the squad one.

Clearly this is what happens when I rush posts.

Also, question, if Jason opened up a communication channel to Serah, since I know they were messaging earlier, would he get any sense of the culling or whatever Atty is doing? I only ask cause he was gonna do something along those lines, and I don't wanna assume something I am not sure about.

No, you're right. It *was*. I was kind of just vomiting ideas out when writing that up and the Xane parts were, admittedly, i forgot to double check and fact check. Forgot he even mentioned a pic. I fuck up too, no shame in calling me out on my fuckups.

CULLING prevents control on the pilot side, but incoming communications would still be received. Doesn't mean Serah would be in a state of mind to respond, but just letting you know.

The pilots would know that Synchronization determines one aspect of the amount of control they have over their Framewerks, and that 0% percent would mean loss of control. CULLING was an aspect that was mentioned in passing as a rare occurrence of a malfunctioning Framewerk resulting in hostile behavior, but not really expounded on.

@Jasonhero Kept in mind what you said and edited the last para in the flashback. I can excuse the whole seeing the green flame thing as only Jetta Chosa's head was ripped off and I could easily imagine the pilot being seated in like the chest region. Would also make sense with how the frame switches forms, since the middle part would more than likely move the least.

To be honest that's where I picture a decent amount of us being. I know I imagine Ribasu's cockpit being more in the chest area.

Yeah, I'd assumed everyone's cockpit is in the chest. Most well fortified area and all.
