I should warn you though, starting from the 23rd I'll be gone for the entire week away from my computer to go on a family camping trip. I won't return until about the 30th, give or take.

More or less? While I'd like it if you don't get Orchid killed, expect him to act much like a brute, albeit a friendly and affable one. If ya need something killed he'll do it. If you need someone to talk to, he'll listen, and try to understand what you're saying. He probs won't be giving you any of his food unless he's bringing you a whole deer or something.

Also noted. Will control two characters for that time period. If we get a third, I'm just calling a temporary hiatus for that time, but I am hoping that will not be the case. The same instructions as for Lucius Cypher apply.

Okay. I'm really sorry @Hekazu, but I'll admit it, I'm going to be busy next week too. While I'm not going anywhere and I've finally settled into my new home, starting this Saturday my work schedule will go into override. My kids are taking part of a summer camp that while close enough from home that I can drive to, I'll be very busy chaperoning. I can try to post from my cellphone when I can, but I doubt I'll have nearly as much time to sit down and text as I used to. Not while I also try to run my own business between being a camp guardian.

@Gordian Nought, for reference of how this could have gone differently - although I am certain we all anticipated Cyanwrath would use his breath weapon to clinch his win regardless - there was one instance in the repeated clashes of rolls where the only reason he was not disarmed was because he rolled the exact number he needed despite the odds being completely against it. Granted this would not have likely changed the outcome, it did stop the one minor momentum we had going into the fight. Other than that, it went reasonably well. He's certainly a boss character, that much I can assure you without spoiling some of his abilities.

Dude, they're only five and six years old. I'm not going to just leave them alone. Besides if I don't go than the camp won't have enough volunteers to run all their events without forcing someone to work both the day and night. I only need to attend the night sessions anyways.

I'm really sorry and I know this is totally inconvenient. I'm really pissed too because I finally managed to work out a reasonable schedule with my jobs and now I have this family thing on my plate. I've already had to back out of a few RP's here because of life getting in the way, and honestly this is the only RP I can keep up with because it's fairly slow pace. I really, really wish I didn't have to go, but it'll be a very dick move on my part if I prioritized Rping over my family's livelihood. I just wished things didn't have to turn out this way.

Rrrrright. How long does this last? Best case scenario there is no overlap. As for time to talk, the long rest is eight hours just as well and not all has to be spent sleeping. Feel free to participate in discussions.

Sowwy. Didn't mean to be mean about it. In all seriousness I actually can do pretty well just typing on my cellphone, I'm more concerned if I got the battery life to maintain contact with you all over the camping trip, or if I'll even get service up there.

Unfortunately it'll be from the 22nd to the 31st, so I'll be out longer than Cypher or Norschtalen. I may have certain days where I won't need to go because I know we'll get getting a few extra hands throughout, though I can't guarantee that'll be the case.

Edit: Also since we leveled up, I'm debating what new 1st level spell Parum should get. I'm thinking between Cure Wounds or Healing Word. I don't want to leave all the healing duties solely on Kyra after all.

I'd say healing Word. 1d4+Charisma isn't much, but it's a 60ft ranged healing as a bonus action. That will be a life saver if any of us ends up going down, and because it's a bonus action you can still do other important things like fighting. Depending on what Kyra is doing she may not be available for medic duties anyways, so better that we spread potential healing across three (Kyra, Torus, and Parum) instead of leaving it to just a few.

Looking like we'll be having an elongated hiatus on 25th to 30th, depending on what's going on at that point. Just prepare for it beforehand since there are few things I would not just call the stop on.

Thank you. I know I've already been pretty spotty with attendance, so I'm thankful for whatever break I can get.

Also I'm debating if I should take another level in Cleric or multiclass into Ranger. I think it'd be very in-character for Kyra to want to take up arms against dragonkind now, though I don't want to staunch her potential as a cleric too early.

Also @Hekazu would it be possible for Kyra to obtain a longbow from her father? I don't know how you intend to handle loot so I didn't want to just assume I could have one, but I am hoping to upgrade Kyra's equipment just a bit. Maybe get her some studded leather too.

I'll have to determine what the people of Greenest can supply while they are starting the rebuilding for themselves. I can safely say that studded leather is not too likely to happen at this point in time @Norschtalen, what with Greenest probably not having any of those in the first place, but longbow is a possibility.

Right now I'll be heading to bed though. Will be back to answer to more questions once I wake up.
