*The smoke in the room seems to thicken and turn black*
I'm going to watch you choke. To see the life leave your eyes.
*Karma reforms next to the man, taking advantage of the smoke, and raises a clawed hand over his throat*

*The man's eyes shoot open and he growls, then begins to change as he pushes against Karma. He grows exponentially, easily tripling in size as orange and black fur sprouts along his body*
*Suddenly his eyes fill with panic as he realizes that transforming has only increased the pressure on his throat*
*He gurgles weakly and fights as hard as he can*

*From of the crevasses in the wall comes a scream of agony and a number of high pitched giggles*

*Karma squeezes Togan's throat, her claws cutting through his skin*
Choke on the smoke, or on your blood. Either way, it is by my hand.
*The familiar gets hit in the ribs, breaking them, but she retains her grip*
*Her other hand slashes at Togan's thigh, aiming for his femoral artery*

*Togan would howl in pain if he could as his leg is badly slashed, but with the fact that it's transformed more into a tiger's leg, the artery isn't in it's usual spot. With nearly the last of his strength he grips the arm(s) choking him and pulls in opposite directions, attempting to snap it(them) or just force them off*

*More screaming and giggling from the other rooms*

*As Karma's hand gets forced off of Togan's throat, it slashes across his Adams apple, and the Devil smiles*

*Karma lunges forwards and tries to bite down on Togan's neck, her teeth elongating into fangs as she goes*

*Togan gurgles as blood spills onto the pillows. With his final bit of strength he aims to do a clapper on Karma's head as hard as he can*
*There's a clatter of metal dishes from behind Karma. A scantily-clad serving girl stands in the arch of one of the passages, a look of absolute horror across her face. She's dropped another serving of meats and wine across the carpets and is frozen in shock and terror*

*The screaming stops and there's a click-clack of claws against stone coming from the other passage*

*The woman nods and scampers back into the arch she came from just as the sister enters the room.*
*The sister is clad much like her brother, breeches and a belt, except she also wears several pieces of jewelry, tribal necklaces and several golden earrings*
Sister: Brota? Duun-! BROTA!
*She runs to the side of her brother just as the light fades from is eyes*
*She's sobbing as she shifts back to her human form and holds her brother's head in her lap, weeping. She's got a rather pretty face and body, with long red hair falling down her back in a tribal plait style*

*A click-click-thunk noise can be heard from the same passage she came from*

*The clacking comes to a halt when Tiaz enters the room and spots his children's bodies. His face becomes grim and drawn tight in anger and grief
Tiaz:... Who is there? Show yourself and I shall only extend your life 3 days instead of 3 years of agony...

Tiaz: You again! Why do you trouble me so!?
*He weighs his options, knowing that he really can't take Karma on without preparation, which he doesn't have, but also not wanting to abandon his home and let Karma take Mergoux and his slaves away from him*
*He quickly comes to a decision however*
Tiaz: Know this... devil. It is in my power to bring this place crashing down upon us, killing all within. Would you sacrifice those 'innocents' and yourself just to kill me?
*He growls in defeat and spits the words 'devil' and innocent in utter disgust*
Tiaz: Let me leave... and you can 'free' those here. Take them with you where ever it is you scum like to go.

*There is silence for a moment before Karma growls, the sound vibrating off the cave walls*
Mercy is a curse. If I was not on a leash, I would watch your life fade as your body was crushed by rocks. Run, while I am still content with my kills.

*Lecter lifts his head up with a groan, and looks around the forest. All he sees is the arm of the creature, his gun, and both of their blood*
*He stands up groggily and shakes his head, faintly registering that he's back in his human form*
Lecter: I'll see you dead.
*As he goes to reclaim his gun, he hears a faint echo of laughter, but he's unsure if it's his imagination working against him, or reality*

*It remains silent behind the door*

*A large insectoid walks out from the treeline towards the room*

*Its head and thorax are that of a praying mantis, but its abdomen and legs are more ant like. It has nasty looking claws at the end of each leg and it has a set of long thin scorpion like claws. It's antenna are short. And its entire body is a dull green colour.*

*It strides towards the room slowly standing around 12 feet tall when at full height*

*He limps towards the cave entrance, then, almost as an afterthought, limps over to his children and gently lifts them up and over his shoulder to carry them*
*He looks back at Karma in hatred*
Tiaz: No... no there is no perhaps about it. I will seek retribution for this.
*He limps off and out of the cave towards the woods*
