Bio:Blake was born in the island nation of New Holland to unknown parents and was communally raised by the town. It was a land only just now being tamed and finally entering the world stage. The colonization efforts were hard, but once a foothold was established the harsh country became a wonderland for scientists and artists alike to make a name for themselves documenting the new flora and fauna to be found. Red soil stained the deserts and rich green forests littered the coastline. A veritable rainbow birds speckled the air with their pigments and although taming was the only appropriate word for what was happening to New Holland the harshness of any area beyond the coastline coupled with fauna that had an almost unnatural tendency towards poison made a true taming of the land a distant dream.

It was in this land that Blake grew as an artist, depicting the wonders of the land around her, the exploits of those who ventured into the land and the treasures they brought back. Seeing the blossoming talent, the townsfolk felt that Blake would have better prospects outside of the frontier town they were and petitioned for her to go to Saint Hirst Academy. It had nothing to do with the Madame from the brothel commissioning Blake to make advertisements for her establishment. However it was only once she was admitted into Saint Hirst Academy that Blake found her muse.

Sample Post:The warm glow of the sun cresting the horizon lit the silhouette of a shorter girl sitting at an easel. Legs not reaching the ground from her stool, the sound of charcoal scratching over paper in a slow arching motion lightly filled the air around her. Looking over the newly illuminated landscape, Blake quickly finished up her rough sketch before taking out the water colour paints and adding the golden light at the top splayed and washing over the emerald ground, rippling like silken sheets.

Eyes staring at her latest masterpiece, Blake added two red orbs, those eyes that pierced her heart. Looking at the painting you would see only the vaguest hint of the landscape before her. Instead you would see was an image that would make a rock blush. A golden-haired beauty sprawled under green silken sheets, the ‘hills’ nearly cresting out of the sea of green.

“Another gift for my muse~” letting the air dry the water colours a little more before putting the image away. Dashing back up to the dorms to compare her work to the real thing, something she knew she couldn’t compare to.

Extras:Blake has a sketch book full of images of her muse. Said muse is completely aware of the sketch book, since Blake will shove a new drawing under her nose each day. That said, Blake will gladly paint a portrait of you… maybe with some creative liberties when it comes to poses.
