I've honestly had a hard time writing up Wasabi's post as I'm not really sure how to visualize everything well enough, especially with how their entrance will be written. I apologize for taking a while on it >,<

If you'd like them to see things before they stop happening, you may have temporary control over Wasabi! Of course, I could still whip out a post if you're fine with waiting a bit more.

When in doubt, take the long route round the hill everything has been happening on. Which apparently has buildings nearby. Useful information.

You know, I've been thinking and it seems highly unlikely that Jack actually has a proper name. "We have been called Jack the Ripper" doesn't really count. xD

It sorta makes me want to see Strange Fake's version of Jack the Ripper summoned as an Assassin, since it's sort of implied that it's possible due to Jack's identity being iffy.

I'm working on a bio for another thread at the moment, so I probably won't post until later tonight. Regardless, @Crusader Lord, I'm a bit confused by Elizabeth's response to Mira's attack. All you mentioned was that she tossed herself out of the way of the initial strike, but then said she dodged it completely. Did she just move so fast as to dodge every consecutive attack as it followed her until the curse completely burned itself out, ending up to one side so quickly that Mira couldn't even follow her movements and it just looked like she'd stepped out of the way? Or did she blast it out of the air with a correspondingly powerful spell before it could attack again? Or did she just dodge it once and then assume she was safe, because if that last one's the case, then it's just going to twist at an impossible right angle and come right back at her the moment she moves, meaning she's not exactly safe.

... Would a good compromise for this be "dodge and ice barrier"?

I don't want to get hitched up on this too much and would like to just make sure this goes smoothly and no-one gets into an argument about it. ^^;

@VitaVitaARI mean yeah, that totally works, provided the barrier's provided enough prana to repair itself faster than the curse can bore its way through. I guess I'm just not entirely comfortable with setting the precedent of having my character's most directly offensive, accurate, and deadly attack being casually sidestepped in a single line of narration, unless there's good reason for it. Like, if Elizabeth is as fast as a Servant, then of course there'd be no contest - Mira can't come anywhere close to that, even at her best. But even if Breathing and Walking is generally a sign of prodigious magical talent, I wasn't aware she was quite on that level, so I figured I'd better ask for clarification. ^^;

I imagine it's made harder to keep up the most effective direct attack possible whilst relaying it through familiars and making sure you don't get killed by poison mist.

@Raineh DazeNah, I edited that. She's no longer using her Familiars to spot Flash Air, so the attack isn't degraded at all by that. If it's just a matter of line-of-sight, however indirect, the curse will seek out its target to the best of its ability. Granted, it's not literally all of her Prana because she has to protect herself from The Mist, as you said, but it's still a fairly respectable level of power for a single spell.

Let's settle this with "Elizabeth dives and then uses a barrier".

That way we get the outcome I'm sure everyone was aiming for more or less while also not depleting anyone's credibility as a capable fighter.
