Considering how often I do it, I really actually don't like flying all that much, even on chartered and private planes. It's about the least-erotic place I can think of (for me! everyone's got their own thing), so I think I'll stay with my cheating. ;)

I'm in a lot of pain whenever I fly due to my overly sensitive ears. I don't think the Mile High Club would be possible for me :P

I am having a hell of a time getting my laptop hooked up to the airport WiFi. Guess that’s what I get for packin’ light and only bringing my Secret Squirrel gear. If it comes down to it, I’ll post when I get to my hotel, but that’ll be fairly late.

Also, yes, I really should get tethering for my phone, wouldn’t that be a great idea, Naril.

I like actually flying. I've done a little in light aircraft when I was younger, my dad has a private licence, but I could never find the time to devote to it.

As for the mile high club, I've certainly been more tempted in business or first class than in economy :P

SUCCESS. Kind of. I have half an hour. We'll see if I get done by then.

I grew up in a place where the default mode of transportation was single-engine small aircraft if you wanted to leave town, and...I dunno. I might be tempted if I had a partner who wanted to share one of those ultra-luxury "apartments in the plane"-class tickets you can get on Singapore Air, but...well. That makes a number of assumptions.

If I wasn't such a gypsy Id love to get a house on the lake and a seaplane. Never been much for instrument flying though so id be trapped if the weather was bad.

Yeah, you heard right. I took a smaller course on aerodynamics and piloting certain vehicles before, but it was awhile ago.

I think if I ever did try my hand at it, my ears wouldn't be too much of a problem. Planes just go 30,000 feet which kills me, and after 9 surgeries my eardrums are very sensitive to changes in pressure. I've gotten a tad dizzy the past two days just with the air pressure changing with fall coming on.

I have the weirdest fear of heights ever... I'm okay flying and even looking through the windows the earth way below me. But put me on a ledge, even worse, unsecure ledge, transparent ledges, see-through elevators and I suddenly get the urge to be a pancake on the floor. I was even okay rock climbing way back when I went to this work camp in France.

Basically the same thing. I can't even be on the second floor of a mall near me because it just has these metal railing that I just don't feel ok next to. I have to stay on the store side or I get all freaked out. I also almost passed out on an escalator in a hockey stadium because it went so high.

Thank goodness, I get to go home today.

And I get to stay home for a couple of weeks. Then off to London, but...well, that could be worse.
