The Safe Haven


I will add more lore, teachers, some students NPCs and so as we go. If you have interest let me know in the comments, I accept suggestions to the lore :)

Around twenty years ago babies started showing special powers, some people were afraid of it and others accepted it. Prejudice rose towards the kids and their family, either because people were afraid or envious.
Science and Politics focused on the subject for years creating laws of exclusion that a few years ago started to be rejected in some countries.
 In the USA (where this story is focused) special people have the same rights as normal humans, but prejudice still exists.

The Safe Haven is a mansion where kids and young adults with powers come either for learning to deal with their powers or because they were kicked out off their family house. All students in the Haven live there during school time and have are there classes there. Classes range from normal subjects like Maths and English to Combat and Power Control.

We are accepting students of any age, that come to the Haven either by option or because they don't have anywhere else to live. You should post your application in the OOC tab and after we accepted you can paste in the Characters tab.

Appearance (pictures accepted):
Power:
Background:

Teachers 

Power: Super-speed
Background: Jacob grew up in the Haven, living there his whole life growing up to be the Combat teacher. He is a happy person and nice to his student, nevertheless he is strict during his classes punishing bad behavior.


Power: Time Control
Background: Not much is known by the students about Lady Jade, only that she teaches Power Control and she always carries a sword with her

The limitations depend from power to power as well from age to age. When you make the CS we can discuss that, but no godmodes.

@Kaesus I'm good at making particularly powerful characters. It's up to others to say whether it's a god-mod or not o3o (I try to not make god-mods but sometimes the tank is just to strong for people...)

they don't know the origin of their powers, it's not genetic like x-men, but the powers and the school are similar in some part yeah
