Jax was happy that everyone had a clear understanding of the plan, she figured Roxas would fight her on the time limit but she had confidence Ophelia would make an effort to follow her advice. Jax wanted to help with the bill but Ophelia beat her to it. After they said their goodbyes and set out in town Jax fixed her collar and made sure to check her phone was charged, "Hope you don't mind we check out the butcher's first. I think we can probably get our best leads from there, in finding some names. I also want to check out the Hunting Legion to learn about the murders. There is enough game in that forest for any animal to survive for weeks. If they killed those men in cold murder it could be premeditated. After that, I figure we go to the library because it's open the latest. I figure we look into the newspapers the last few weeks and perhaps even get a better understanding of the terrain. It's been awhile since Ophelia and I have been home and it looks like the town is doing better than when we left it."

When they reached the butcher shop she paused just outside, "I figure I'm going to play miss charming so do me a favor and play the part of menacing brute if I need it alright. I know you ain't much of a talker but you can at least play the part of the bad cop if I need it alright? Okay. Here we go!"

When Jax entered the butcher's shop she eyed a young man behind the counter. He was young probably just out of highschool. Poor kid..but just her luck! She gave the delicatessen her sweetest smile walking over to the counter her scythe bobbing slightly behind her, "Hello..." She eyed the young man's nametag, "Leo..Is it alright if I call you that?"

He gave her a big smile, "Uh ye..yeah. Can I help you with something Miss?"

She bit her lip lightly leaning over the counter, the kid making eyes at her tattoo then up at Morthos. His eyes widened slightly as Jax spoke in an even tone, "Actually me and my friend here are in kind of a pickle. I made a ridiculous order the other day for 30 cases of beef tenderloin. Now I meant to say 3 but then I received a bill for 30 and I am freaking out. Now, of course, I have to deal with corporate on an issue like this but they need to know the exact date I called and who I talked to. They also are demanding proof. I've been having a hell of a time finding it on my phone records. Do you mind letting me get a look at that order sheet just for a few measly seconds, so I can find out the exact date and time I called? I swear I won't tell anyone you helped me out. Please sugar!"

The young man looked up at the camera, "Uh. My boss doesn't allow customers to look at our order sheets. It's a matter of p..p...policy or something like that."

Jax stood up whimpering slightly as placed her head in her hands, her fingers digging into her hair, she turned to look at Morthos, "Shit. I don't know what I am going to do then. Our rent is coming up and if I don't figure this all out before then I'm going to be in deep trouble. Are you sure you can't help us?"

She gave the kid a sultry whimpering look that could melt men twice his age, "Please? I will owe you...whatever you want?"

The kid leaned forward his innocent smile turning into a lewd smirk, "Ummm...C..C...Can I see your boobs!"

Jax paused for a second turning to look at Morthos before she burst into laughter slapping her hand on the wooden counter before looking at the kid with fire green eyes, "Fine. You want to see the girls. I'll give ya a peak. Let's go to the back."

She gave Morthos a look before heading to the back with the kid, a few minutes later she came back alone, the list in her hands, "All done. I must be off my touch usually they crack with just a nip slip." She saw Morthos' face and laughed wildly, "Don't worry, I didn't show him a thing. I threatened to phone his mother and tell her what her son just asked a customer to do, and he started bawling like a child. Besides my girls are exceptionally nice, I don't want to give the kid a nosebleed." She laughed again at his expression, "Anyway, there are a few larger orders for the week that I noticed. I took a picture with my phone of the list so you can see. I have a few names but I feel like if we look at the locations at the library we can see if any of them are near the woods. What do you think?"

She listened to Morthos taking out her phone to show him the picture. She also texted Ophelia, "At Butchers. Be safe! <3" It was quick and direct but it got the point across. When they finished they headed off to the Hunting Legion to see what else they could find out.

Right as Roxas was about to pay, Ophelia beat him to it. He felt a little bad, but didn't think to hard on it. Before they left for the forest, he went into the bathroom and changed into his cloak and put him mask in his pocket. They were going into a forest and looking for monsters. There was no way in hell he was going to go unprepared. He knew how well Ophelia could fight, but there was a possibility of there being more than a dozen. Once done, the four of them split up. Roxas and Ophelia left for the woods right away. Ophelia told him they were going to go to the south forest first which was fine by him.

Werewolf's aside, Roxas loved the forest. It was quiet and pretty. Everything he needed. "Alright where do you want to look first and what are we looking for?" He said in a serious tone. Missions were nothing to take lightly. He kept close to Ophelia at all times, pushing vines and brush out of the way. The forest was a little eerie and it felt a little too quiet. No birds or anything. "Tread lightly." He said low and deep. It was hard to prepare for something that he had never fought before. Although he did have help this time instead of all the others. Ophelia seemed to be sniffing out for the Werewolves while they were moving through the forest. At least one of them knew what to do. He did realize that Ophelia would know more about this since she was a Vampire and all. He'd just follow her lead through this.

Morthos was happy to let Jax do all the talking, he could definitely stand around and just look a bit menacing. When all was said and done Morthos just decided to let Jax's little joke about her boobs go, though he was sure under the shirt her girls were indeed very nice. She mentioned the library and cross referencing information, that was much more up his alley. "Ya, we could definitely find a map at the library and try to see what's up. Although we should probably see what the Hunting Legion knows first, the more information we have the more useful the library will be."

They got to the building and it was somewhat shabby but also rather intimidating looking. Jax informed Morthos, "you're doing the talking this time." He gave her a look and she gave him one right back, "don't look at me like that, I did all the work at the butcher. Besides, I'm trying to make you almost like a normal person, so talk." She gave him a quick peck on the lips and a shove towards the doors.

"Ya, thanks," Morthos said, laying on the sarcasm real thick. They entered the building, and Morthos wasn't sure what to expect. What he was greeted with was basically a tavern. Some of the patrons were giving him the stink eye, clearly they didn't like him. If that was because he was a tiefling or just because he was an outsider he was unsure. He walked up to the bartender and asked, "hi, excuse me, who would I talk to to find out what you guys know about the werewolves terrorizing your town?" The bartender didn't turn around from what he was doing, just replied with a "what's it to ya?" Great, they clearly did not want to help.

Morthos just took a breath and stayed calm, "you see, my friends and I, we're here to help out. We've been hired by the town," the bartender did not respond, instead Morthos heard someone shout at him from across the bar, "OI! Devil boy!" Morthos really did not like being called devil boy unless it was clear the person was being friendly and a bit jokey. Morthos turned to the man, "yes?"

He was with a group at a table, people of all sorts, seemed the Legion was pretty inclusive, at least if you were from town. "Ya, you wanna know 'bout them wolves, ye?"

"Yes, we want to help get rid of the wolves, do you know something that could help?" Morthos was starting to lose his patience for these people, it didn't help they were all clearly drunk.

"Yeah, I know about 'em," the man got up and he was much taller than Morthos had expected. "Where was that stuff, oh ya, right here," at which point he pulled his hand out of his pocket and gave Morthos the finger. All his friends thought it was hilarious, Morthos did not, and the guy could tell. "Oh come off it then, how about you leave so I can get to know your girlfriend then, eh?"

He started reaching his hand towards Jax but Morthos moved faster than he even thought he could, "you will not lay any of your greasy fingers on her."

The man just laughed and looked back to his friends, "you hear that? Devil boy is jealous of me."

Morthos was done playing nice, "call me devil boy one more time, see what happens," Morthos growled at the man.

The man bent down so his face was right in Morthos' and said, "You. Are. A. Devil..."

He couldn't finish he sentence as Morthos burst in to flames and singed his eyebrows off. He jumped back and Morthos slowly rose in to the air, his voice echoing. "I am Morthos Xerxes, noble of House Xerxes. Descended from the House of Ice and Fire, House Zolfura, from the once great nation of Bael Turath. I will no longer play your games," out of the corner of his eye he saw the bartender with a folder, he seemed less shaken than everyone else but still scared.

"This is what we have, take it," he left the folder on the table and stepped back.

Morthos floated back to the ground and extinguished his flames, "remember this next time you disrespect someone just trying to help." He grabbed the folder in one hand, Jax's hand in the other, and walked out of the building. They rounded a corner and Morthos leaned against a wall collapsing to the ground, head in his hands, ashamed at himself. "I'm so sorry you had to see that."

Ophelia's attention turned slightly from the treeline to Roxas. He asked her a couple questions and she considered for a few moments. "Alright where do you want to look first and what are we looking for?" "Well, we will be looking for dead animals or people, claw marks, broken branches, trees or things similar... Have you never hunted Werewolves before?" Her brows furrowed slightly and she began walking into the forest. Instinctively, Ophelia breathed in every so often through her nose, continuously trying to pinpoint anything that might be of interest. She could smell deer, birds, fox, rabbits and other smaller creatures, and faintly she could smell Werewolf. She wondered if perhaps it was from one simply passing through this area, but as she walked deeper into the forest, the scent grew stronger. She reached a hand back in a motion towards Roxas that would signal to be cautious as something had her attention before whispering, "Shhh..."

Her feet moved silently along the ground in the moss and dirt, and finally she came upon a huge tree that looked hollowed out. The inside was charred and burnt, the hollow obviously man made. Her eyes narrowed and she stopped walking quite a few yards away, taking in her surroundings. She could hear breathing, smell blood, and a form hunched over something. She could see clearly that it was a werewolf hunched over a dead human child. Without a moments hesitation, Ophelia knocked a silver tipped arrow into her bow and pulled back on the string, firing quickly. The arrow easily pierced into the werewolfs shoulder, and it arched up and let out a loud growl. Silver worked very well against them, which is half the reason that Ophelia preferred to use silver tipped arrows. There was nothing that she could do for this child, but she could at least kill the bastard who did this to her and her family.

The werewolf turned around the best it could, it's blood dripping down its back from the arrow. Ophelia was fairly well hidden where she stood, which was behind some trees and tons of brush, but she knew better than to think the werewolf wouldn't know she was there. Just like their scent was intense to her, hers was intense to them. She breathed in again to try and determine the rank of this wolf, but figured it was probably just one of the pack members since he was alone. This obviously wasn't their lair or hide out, it was too small. The werewolf began to run in their direction and Ophelia unclipped her cloak from her shoulders, letting it fall to the ground before she set off another arrow. Though immediately after shooting the second arrow, she crouched and then lunged upward into the tree nearest to her, landing up into one of the higher branches. The wolf ran past below before turning on it's heels and trying to claw its way up towards her. "Get away you filthy beast!" Ophelia muttered, knowing good and well the wolf could hear her, and understand.

She grinned slightly, leaning out over the branches to tease the werewolf, knowing this was dangerous but doing it nonetheless. It growled at her again louder, the sound echoing through the forest. Everything had happened so quickly that even though she could still feel the pull between herself and Roxas, she hadn't seen where he went. She locked her eyes on him for a moment, ensuring he was alright and then waited for a second. The wolf had by now realized that it wasn't going to be able to get to Ophelia by trying to get up at her. So he moved to try another tactic. This was the exact moment that Ophelia was waiting for, however. Once his back was turned to her she lunged out of the tree and onto his back. She landed in a straddle as though riding a horse, and while she sat she pushed down on the arrow that was still in his shoulder, digging the metal into his body further. The wolf let out a shrill howl, his head tilted back just enough and his teeth parted a little. As the noise rang around her ears, she reached out with both arms, similar to what she had done to Roxas the night they first met, and each hand gripped the top and bottom parts of the wolfs jaw. "I hope you know the rest of your pack will get what's coming to them too," she said. The werewolf tried to buck her off, but while doing so, Ophelia pulled her arms away from each other, his jaw snapping open. She then gripped at his neck, snapping that as well for good measure.

Instantly the wolf went limp beneath her and fell to the ground in a heap. She stood up, pulling the arrow out of his body in one harsh and quick movement. She made her way back to her cloak and fastened it back around her. She slung the bow over her shoulder and motioned to Roxas to come with her. She checked her phone quickly, seeing a text from Jax from a while before "At Butchers. Be safe! <3" Ophelia looked at the time. It was basically getting dark by now, especially beneath the canopy of the trees, and she knew that they should head out soon. Before that though, she went back to the hollowed out tree and dragged the werewolf with her there. She looked at the child for a moment, feeling extremely sad for her. She knew she did what was right. With that in mind, she shoved the wolfs body into the hollow of the tree, took a photo on her phone for record, and set it ablaze. The tree was already destroyed, so it wouldn't burn or catch anything else on fire. But would act as a good barrier to get rid of these bodies. She watched the flames dance and lick their skin and fur and she shuddered at the smell. Once the bodies were both disposed of, she took Roxas' hand and began to make their way back to the hotel. "Got one, didn't have a chance to make him talk... Be back soon." She wrote to jax along the way.

Jax followed behind Morthos, her eyes scanning the legion as they entered. The smell was full of beer cigarettes and bullets. She gave the men an intimidating smile, her easy outgoing nature not repelled by men. She listened quietly to Morthos as he tried to reason with these lug-heads but of course, nothing could ever be easy. When one of the racist brutes came up to Morthos Jax took a step forward preparing to drop him if she had to. When he even reached for her Jax took a step back in disgust, her eyes watching as Morthos reached out to protect her. She usually would be offended having someone stand up for her but for some reason, she couldn't help giving an awkward smirk. She was about to interject to cut the tension when suddenly Morthos burst into flames and she took a step back a wave of heat rushing over her. She listened as she announced his whole title her eyes widening slowly as she saw the people in the room shrink back a bit, a few preparing to reach for their guns. She leaned her arm back preparing to grab her scythe when Morthos cooled down and grabbed a folder. With his other hand, he grabbed her and pulled her outside. She winced slightly his hand still slightly hot but then it simmered down to a cool warmth. With her other hand, she gave the pricks the finger and then they were around the corner. He let her hand go to soon and then leaned against the building before collapsing his head in his hands.

Jax looked at him confused, "Sorry? THAT WAS FUCKING BADASS!" She leaned down, taking his hands away from his face, "I mean it Morthos. Don't let those douche canoes keep ya down."

She moved her scythe, moving to sit down beside him, "I mean I knew you were noble but I didn't know you had a great lineage like that. That's something to be proud of." She paused reaching over to grab his hand her expression calm and kind, "You don't have to be crazy confident Morthos but don't ever apologize for standing up to pricks."

She could tell he still wasn't believing her, "Do you know why I asked you to be my best friend. Not because you had red skin and horns, or because you were rich. Those are only bonuses. I asked you because I could tell you could understand the value of friendship better than most. Now that I know you better I realize I was completely right, as I always am, and that if I ever want to toast marshmallows I just have to piss you off." She gave him a cheesy smile as he looked over at her. She leaned forward kissing him roughly before pulling back, "Now quit feeling sorry for yourself, your rich, devilishly sexy and you have the hottest girl in the world as your best friend...with benefits. You should have the confidence of a rockstar."

She shoved her elbow at him then jumped up fixing her hair and grabbed her scythe flipping it up to set it back in its sheath, "let's go to the library and check out some maps, and what's in that file folder. We have werewolves to find."

She set off heading towards the library, a breeze brushing past her. She shut her eyes smiling. Ophelia may not be a fan of home but Jax adored this place. She loved 'Bizby's Ice Cream Parlor' and 'Raguel's Comic Shop' remembering the times when she would take her solars to buy some ice cream and then some comic books from her favorite tv show Robo Goblin. When she was small she would trudge around the yard with her plastic laser gun and antenna, taking on the dark Trolls from Sigma 5 along with her favorite character Captain Rigzod Rogers the handsome goblin space captain who seemed to always face danger with a smile and a witty catchphrase. She spoke up loudly, "ALRIGHT FIZBO. YOU BETTER GIVE UP AND FACE THE OVEN BECAUSE TONIGHT....THE CHICKEN IS DONE!"

Jax looked over at Morthos who gave her a curious glance. She burst into laughter, "Sorry just remembering a quote from my favorite show. 'Robo-Goblin!' I used to buy comic books right over there. I had quite a few good memories here."

She paused reaching the large pantheon style setting for the library, "It seems smaller since I last came here."

She headed inside looking around at the large stacks of shelves, plain brown tables full of both scrolls and books of a small or large stature. She moved inside, pulling Morthos towards the map area and then took the file folder from him opening it on one of the small desks. She took a seat and pulled out her phone, bringing up the list of names and locations of large orders from the butchers. She looked at the files in front of her then scootched over when Morthos came to view the list with her. She looked up after a few minutes pointing to one of the names, "It looks like these are a match. Not an exactly strong case but it could be something."

She stood up and then looked around for a few maps, pulling one that seemed decent out. She stretched it out on the table. She scratched her head, "Maybe we should set up spots to show us where the murders occurred, the three guys from the butchers and areas of sightings and see if there is a correlation? What do you think?"

As Roxas and Ophelia made their way through the woods, they came across a hollowed tree. They were a distance from it and right as he spotted it Ophelia told him to shh. He knew that had to mean she found something. Figures since their prey was her mortal enemy in a way. Once hidden, Roxas looked to see what was there and it ended up being what they were after. Only problem. There was a child being snacked on. That made Roxas pissed thinking about what could have happened. He started to reach for his blades, but Ophelia beat him to it with her bow and arrows. Once he saw that, he just sunl back down and let her do her work. Finally not being on the receiving end of those arrows, Roxas was pretty excited to see what his girlfriend could do. If she almost killed him then this Werewolf should be easy for her.

Ophelia let the arrow fly and it hit the Werewolf right in the shoulder. This made Roxas smile. She started to move all over the place and it looked to him like she was teasing the poor beast. All Roxas could do was smile as he watched Ophelia. After toying with it she finally jumped down on the Werewolf and plunged her arrow deeper into it. Once done, he came out of his little hiding spot and helped her dispose of the body's. TO bad they couldn't get any info out of the damn thing, but at least one was gone. Once done Ophelia grabbed his hand and sent a text. He gently kissed her forehead then took a mental note of the place. It was getting dark so they had to make their way back to the other two. Doing so he memorized the path to the tree and started to make a plan for his return trip later that night. It would piss everyone off, but at least he might be able to get some more information. Besides, if he got in a fight, he could always use Ifrit to help him escape. He'd just have to make sure he had a timer at the ready at all times.

After he was finished thinking out his plan, which didn't take that long, he looked down at Ophelia and smiled. "That was fantastic." He said as they walked back into the town.

Jax's words were kind, and Morthos appreciated them, "it's not just announcing my nobility that I didn't like back there. I could have told them I'm some kind of big shot without all the theatrics, I just lost control of myself. Things could have gone terribly, I'm not sure you could have stopped me...." He trailed off, shuddering at the thought of if he truly lost control, that building would have been gone.

Morthos truly was happy to have Jax as a friend, even if he may have wanted more this was good enough, for now. "You didn't even know I was rich until I went to buy you that staff of yours, that's not information I just give away willy nilly." He got up and started off towards the library with Jax. She shouted some strange line about chicken being done and he must have given her one hell of a look because she doubled over laughing, explaining it was a line from some show. "Ah, ya, never had much time for TV, I was either studying magic or reading other things. There's this series about kids being thrown in to a life or death arena fight that I enjoy," Morthos wasn't paying too much attention and almost walked in to Jax as she stopped outside the library. "I mean, you were smaller back in the day too, right? So it's probably just that."

Morthos had a bit of a look around the library as Jax set up their work space. It was nice looking, nowhere near as big as the library he had back home, but he doubted he'd ever find one bigger than that. Although there were rumours of a hidden library that was kept safe by a spirit of some kind....Morthos shook his head and came back to reality, going to sit with Jax. "Anything is good enough to get us started," he said to her. "I can do the symbols, hold on," he looked at the locations where he would need to mark and with a flourish of his hands, small almost holographic images appeared on the surface of the map. "I can keep these here for about an hour before I have to recast, not sure we'll be here that long but just letting you know."

Ophelia was kissed on the head by Roxas, and he spoke gently, "That was fantastic." Ophelia barely smiled, her mind focused on what had just happened. The last time she dealt with Werewolves, the victims were always children. In this case, it was both adults and children, but the fact that she happened to stumble across one that had killed a child gave her already cold body, chills. She could also feel his mind was on something, and she was worried. Not only was she going to be worried about when they confronted the pack, but she was worried about dinner tomorrow with their parents. She rolled her eyes slightly before looking at the ground where she walked. Finally she decided to respond to Roxas' comment, "Sure, it might have been. But the next time it won't be so easy. The next time will probably be the entire pack. Werewolves are not something to be screwed with Roxas. You seem to be taking this too lightly. Do you not understand the gravity of this mission?"

She stopped, turning to face Roxas a moment to look at him, reading his face. It was in this moment that she saw him in a way she hadn't before. She barely knew him. She knew that, but it was really just fully crossing her mind now. She could feel her eyes turn colder, her expression neutral and unwavering. "One wrong move and we could all be killed." Finally she frowned, turning away to continue walking. She really wanted this mission to go smoothly, so they could go back to SPA and get to know each other a little better. She reached up, running her fingers through her hair, which was down around her body. She pulled her cloak hood up slightly, it resting on her head just enough to cover her ears and head, but keep the sides and front of her face visible. Finally they had reached the forests edge, and she figured it wouldn't take too long to get back now. She chewed her lip a bit, subconsciously. She figured the quickest way back to the hotel would be along the docks. Many of them ran along the oceans edge horizontal to the town.

She began to walk in the direction in her mind, knowing Roxas would follow her. Finally they began to pass buildings, one of which looked to be abandoned and closed and boarded up. She was sure that this building wasn't abandoned before. She slowed down, stopping in front of the building and looking at the exterior with scrutiny. It was extremely worn down, and she narrowed her eyes, turning her head so her ear was facing the building. She breathed in slow and deep. She could smell werewolf just faintly, but wasn't sure whether it was the fact that the scent was now on her from earlier, or if there had been some around this area. She wanted to get closer, but surely if there did happen to be a werewolf inside this building, they'd be able to smell her. She turned to Roxas and pointed to the building. She figured they'd pay no mind if hiding, to a passing human. She stood close to Roxas for a few moments to try and mask her scent as best as she could, grabbed him and ran at Vampire speed toward the brick building. She held onto him closely, using his blood to mask her as she moved with ease around the building. She only slowed to peer into cracks and through half covered windows, ensuring she stayed hidden.

Ophelia's eyes widened when her gaze came to rest on two huge werewolves. One was male, the other female, and she knew instantly that it was the Alpha and Beta wolves. Without hesitating, Ophelia tugged Roxas away and she ran with him down along the pier toward the hotel. She was antsy to tell Jax and Morthos what they've found, and wanted to get the hell away from the building as fast as possible.

Jax looked on in wonder at the little holographs, moving slowly over to touch one. Her finger poked right through it and she turned to Morthos with a smile, "That is so cool! Maybe I should have been watching less tv and reading more." She giggled before moving to her feet so she could have a greater perspective. "Okay...So let's look at this logically. We have four orders that are substantial enough that they could be an indicator of werewolves. These addresses all seem residential but to be honest they are probably cover homes I am assuming."

She pointed to a few of the holographs before switching over to a few other points, "These points here are indicative of the murders. Too far from the houses but also not far enough away for them to still travel this distance within a fortnight. Also, there is still way too many buildings in between the locations for us to get an exact match. See the port is right in between there and they have too many abandoned caves and warehouses for us to adequately figure out which one they're using." She bit her lip, curving her head to the side, "Then we have the file from the Legion."

She took it from Morthos with a smile and bit her lip looking at the files of the hunters that were killed and how well of a shot they were. She read it over three times, finding most of it to be drivel except for something. She suddenly sat down, "What's Morriston's'." She handed over the file to Morthos pointing out a sentence, "John Reginald and Denver Wilson:3 Stag by 'Morrisons.'"

She grabbed her phone looking over the names, "No one named Morrison. Do you think it could be code for something...or..maybe a place?"

She suddenly heard a movement behind a bookshelf. She stood up slowly walking around the corner seeing no one. She lifted her hand to Morthos, walking out into the main seating area trying to see if she saw anything suspicious. She noted nothing apart from the library door closing very slowly. Her expression turning grim. They were being watched. She should have been more cautious. She headed back towards Morthos with an annoyed expression, "Someone was watching us. I didn't see who it was, but they got out of here faster then a hooker in church. We should go back to the hotel soon. Oh...You found something?"

She walked over looking at something he was showing her.

Everything Jax was saying made sense, which unfortunately meant they didn't have much of a lead to go off of. The thing about Morristons' peaked his interest. Jax went off and made a gesture at Morthos for him to stay where he was. Looking at the wording something occurred to him, he used his mage hand to grab a book off a shelf about businesses in the vicinity. He found what he was looking for and it was something with actual substance this time. "Oh good you're back," he said as Jax approached the table again, "Ya, I did find something." He slid the book her way, it was on a page about a building that was no longer in use.

"The log didn't make sense if it was talking about a person, the way it was written with the apostrophe at the end was weird. Morristons' is a place, it's an old saw mill that's kind of out in the middle of nowhere in the forrest. Hold on, this book is mostly about the guy who made it, Jim Morriston, I saw something more useful somewhere." Looking quickly over the shelves he found what he was looking for, he grabbed it with his mage hand and brought it down. "Okay, see, here's the blueprints. Pretty standard industrial building, two floors, lots of doors, a fair number of rooms where they would process the wood and what not." He grabbed the first book again and skimmed the pages about the history of the building. "Says here it was shut down after a series of deaths at the plant, they were suspected as murders but they couldn't find enough evidence so nothing ever came of it. It was closed shortly after the investigation because their reputation was ruined. Doesn't seem like it's been used for anything official since then. Just as a place for homeless people to stay I guess."

Since he was done explaining all that he asked Jax a question that had been on his mind since she came back, "also, why would a hooker run out of church? If she's there wouldn't that mean she's repenting for any sinning she's done or something? I always thought church was a very forgiving kind of place."

Jax came to sit beside him again, reading over the pages as he explained what the meaning behind Morisstons. Her eyes widened, "Real good place for werewolves to hangout."

She stood up looking for the location on the map, "Yeah it could work," She paused hearing Morthos' response to her hooker joke. She paused, "Well I mean she could...but let's say she just teleported into the church and then she realized where she was...Okay, it was a stupid joke. Also..Yes. Generally, the church should be forgiving but I think a lot of the time really depends on your preacher or imam...or whatever your preferred holy man or woman would be. Anyway. We should head back and see what the other two have come up with. Also! I heard the hotel has a jacuzzi and my muscles could definitely take some relaxing if we have to take on a horde of werewolves tomorrow."

She closed the files and grabbed the book and the map, "I think I still have my library card so we can take these home and do some more reading when it's safer."

She walked over to the main desk placing the books and maps on the counter, "Hello Mrs. Grouse! How's life been treating you?"

The little lady eyed Jax with an apprehensive expression her small beady grey eyes looking over at Morthos then back to Jax, "Miss...Kariana. I see you are back to your old ways. You haven't been doing anything in the stacks have you."

Jax frowned,"Why does everyone in this town have to be a judgemental asshole. You know I work at SPA now and I am here on business. I even made B level!"

The lady pursed her lips and started scanning the books,"Only B level! I thought you would be at a higher level than that by now. Also, good job losing the weight, now you might actually be able to keep a boyfriend."

Jax twitched slightly leaning down onto the counter,"Listen up, you old crabapple. I took your shit for eight years through school and I sure as hell ain't taking it now. So give me the books and shut the hell up, and also just for your information, even when I was a little tub of lard I could get any boy I wanted. You should ask your grandson. Now good day! Come on Morthos!"

Jax left the library huffing, "OH I HATE THAT WOMAN! You know there are about 1000 ways to call a kid fat and that woman has found about 500 of them to use on me. Ugh..sorry. I know that seems stupid seeming as people treated you like crap for your whole life. Well, not the whole life."

She kept walking brushing her hair out of her face before reaching the hotel and heading towards the lobby. She walked over noting Ophelia and Roxas talking at a table, "Hey Guys! How did it go? Actually no. Not here. I'm pretty sure we were followed today. Ummm...I'm gonna go drop these off in our room and what about we discuss this in the jacuzzi? Bubbles make a good noise barrier. You guys down?"

By the time Ophelia and Roxas made it to the Hotel, he could finally comprehend what just happened. The two of them were walking and then suddenly they were running. It seemed like they had just stumbled across the werewolves they were after. or at least two of them. Regardless it was something that need to be addressed. It didn't matter at the moment though since they had to wait for Jax and Morthos to show up to talk about it. He thought back to Ophelia's later comment about taking the mission lightly and it finally occurred to him that she knew hardly anything about him. Same went for him about her though. That frusterated Roxas a bit and then started to think about what was going on. He figured after actually finding some of the werewolves, it wouldn't be a good idea to go out again later. At least not alone. It was up in the air at this point. Be fore he could open his mouth to talk to Ophelia though, Jax and Morthos showed up.

"Hey nice to see you guys again in one piece." Roxas poked fun a bit, but then shut up. There was a lot on his mind at the moment and he felt a little distant from the others. He knew Ophelia was going to explain everything to them, about what happened in the forest and then what they had found in the abandoned building. It was all excited to talk about and he was curious what the others had found out as well. It was already one day it proved to be a good hunt so far. It may have seemed like He wasn't taking any of this serious, but deep down, Roxas was trying to fight the urge to just run off and eradicate the beasts. Grown men and woman dying didn't bother him that much, he had seen and lived with that all his life, but when it came to children, well, stay out of the way.

Quickly trying to take his mind off it all, Roxas looked over at Morthos. "Did you two find anything?" He figured they would have, but just wanted to be the one to ask. Jax seemed to have some books with her and he figured it wasn't for some light reading. They must have found something good. That was the hope at least.

"What're you doing? You know where two of those beasts are. Why are you just sitting here?" Ifrit decided to pipe up. This really didn't bode well with Roxas either since he really couldn't answer him in front of everyone. As much as Jax and Ophelia know, mostly Jax at the moment, he didn't want to make it known that he was still talking to his inner demon friend. He chose to ignore Ifrit for now and quickly grabbed a pen and paper. He wrote down, 'We will talk later.' on it and looked right at the paper for a second. It sucked to have him imprisoned within his body, but the upside was that Ifrit was able to see hear and feel through Roxas' body as well. "Fine." Was all the king of hell would say. Once that was over with, Roxas quickly crumpled the paper then listened to what the others were saying. Turns out they were followed and they would talk about it in the hot tub.

Ophelia listened as Jax said they had found something, and then she suggested they go to the pool room to use the Jacuzzi. Ophelia smiled softly, nodding, "I think that's a great idea!" She turned to the boys and then spoke again softly, "Go get changed, we will meet you there." Without waiting, Ophelia looked at Jax and then headed toward their room. Once inside, she quickly found a bathing suit. She changed out of the dress she was wearing and put the swim suit on, pulling her hair up into a messy bun. She looked over to make sure Jax was ready to go, and then headed out again to the pool room. Luckily no one else was in the area except for them and the boys now.

Making her way to the Jacuzzi, Ophelia stepped down into the hot water slowly. The warmth of it stung her cold skin, but it still felt good again her body. "Okay, what did you guys find? I had a bit of fun, so you go first!" Ophelia said, staring at Morthos and Jax.

"Hey, don't be sorry, just because I've been treated shitty a lot of my life doesn't mean when you get treated shitty it's not as bad," Morthos said to Jax as they made their way back to the hotel. "What did she mean back to your old ways? Have you brought demons to the library before?" He didn't get an answer to that one, as they got to the hotel they found Roxas and Ophelia at a table. Jax mentioned the person who was listening in at the library and suggested they go down and spend some quality time in the hot tub.

The girls went off to get changed and Morthos said to Roxas, "ya, we found some good stuff. Though Jax is right that someone was trying to eavesdrop on us, we'll talk about it when we're all back together, let's go change." Morthos headed back to their room and rummaged through his bag to find hos bathing suit. Of course it was at the bottom of everything, making a mess of his bed, "whatever, I'll clean up later," he said to himself. The bathing suit was just plain black with a hole in the back for his tail to go through. After changing he realized that he'd been walking around with his tail on display for everyone since he'd gotten his makeover with Jax. He used to keep it hidden under his cloak but he hadn't thought about it since his change. The thought made him smile a bit, being able to have his tail out must have meant he was more confident in his looks, even if he didn't think so consciously.

They guys headed down and met the girls in the pool room. Morthos got in the hot tub and sighed, slightly disappointed. "'Hot tub' my ass, though I guess that's a bit unfair. I'm fire resistant, makes hot tubs more like just normal water," he cleared his throat, ready to talk about what they found. "Anyways, we figured out where the wolves probably are. Some old abandoned saw mill out in the woods, we found the blueprints so we can case out the place. Oh right, and someone was spying or something," Morthos wrapped his tail around Jax's waist and pulled himself closer to her with a grin, "Jax was the one who scoped that out while I was working, did you get any kind of look at them?"

Jax followed Ophelia to there room, moving the books underneath the bed, just in case someone noticed them through the window. She then opened her bag and pulled out her weights. She moved them over to the corner then dug around for her bathing suit. After a good hunt, she got dressed and followed Ophelia into the pool room. With the bathing suit on it showed off her final tattoo which was of a medium size on her thigh. She went to sit by Ophelia, her hair up in a bun as she sunk down up until her nose getting all toasty. She then moved back up to the seat section and saw the boys come in. Jax eyed Morthos and sunk down again hiding her blush from getting to see his bare chest again. When he took a seat she came up from the bubbly depths and gave him a smirk, laughing slightly at his hot tub comment. She then nodded as he explained what they found.

She was about to say something when she suddenly felt something wrap around her waist and tighten for a few minutes. She suddenly felt Morthos beside her and she giggled, "Yeah. I would have chased whoever it was but he was out of the place before I could even get a look at him. Speedy, which leads me to believe he or she may have been magically endowed." She leaned back against Morthos placing her hand on his thigh at just the right point that it was still safe but if he moved she might feel something. She looked up giving Morthos a wicked smile before eyeing Roxas and Ophelia again, "What about you guys? Did you come across anything like a warehouse in the area?"

Roxas nodded to Morthos when he told him about being followed then walked up to their rooms together. Once in the room he looked through his bag and found his trunks. He didn't normally swim, but after today it seemed to be well worth it. He put on his trunks and a shirt then followed Morthos out to the hot tub. Even though Jax knew about the pentagram on his back didn't mean he wanted the others to see it yet. That was a conversation that he was not ready to have. When they got out to the hot tub, the girls were already in. Roxas walked over to it and crossed his arms. "Seems like you two beat us to it." He smiled at Ophelia as he got in and smirked at Morthos when he made his joke. He sat next to Ophelia then took her hand under the water. Even though he didn't know much about her, he still loved her. After looking at Ophelia for a bit, Roxas turned his attention to Jax as she was explaining what they had found. It was very interesting hearing what she had to say. He figured he would keep his mouth shut on this one and let Ophelia explain since she knew more about what was going on than him.

Ophelia listened as Jax and Morthos spoke about the abandoned building, and being followed. She shivered slightly at the thought, not liking the sound of it at all. It was lucky she had good hearing, and the bubbles were loud. No one should be able to hear them in here, like Jax said. When Jax finally asked what the came across, Ophelia quickly organized her thoughts. Roxas had her hand held beneath the water, and she curled her fingers slightly.

"Well, we checked out the forests first. There was this huge tree, which was hollowed out using fire I think. And we found one werewolf, and also a dead child inside of it. You can guess how that ended... We burnt both the bodies. Unfortunately I didn't get any info from that werewolf, but either way we also came across that abandoned building you mentioned. The alpha and beta were in there, but it's mostly boarded up. So obviously the others were out hunting or doing whatever." She stopped for a moment, contemplating her thoughts again. "It's going to be hard to get them all in one place at the same time. We should figure out what the plan will be for tomorrow. We know where they are, we just have to figure out the rest. What do you think, Jax?" Ophelia asked softly, turning her attention to Jax.

A dull anger forced its way into Jax's head as Ophelia explained what they found. A child. Not only did those bastards kill grown men but they would stoop so low as to feast on a child. After Ophelia was finished Jax remained silent in thought for a few minutes. She looked around the pool room and at the doors double checking, they were alone, "Good work guys. I agree we need to set up a strategy. Morthos and I uncovered blueprints of the warehouse so we know the layout of the area as well as the location. The only problem is that we don't know how many wolves are in the pack. That warehouse is huge they could have easily fit close to 20 werewolves in there. If we go in we have to take out the alpha and the beta. If we take them down the other's will either surrender or at least lose there ability to communicate with each other as a pack."

Jax moved forward slightly, "The way I see it is that Roxas and Ophelia are our heavy hitters. Both of you can take on a werewolf head to head with probably minimal damage. Morthos and I will take care of the others by causing a distraction and making sure no one leaves the area. It's far out in the woods but if one of those bastards escapes they could start a new pack and we would be back to square one. I have something up my sleeve that could work to cover up your guy's entry into the warehouse and also a way to keep the pack busy."

She turned back to look at Morthos, placing her hand on his upper thigh again, "Do you know a spell or something that could somehow block off the area? As soon as the werewolves realize it's us outside causing mischief they are going to fly out of that warehouse like no tomorrow. I am good at hand to hand but we need something that can corral them in the same area. Just so the other two have enough time to take out the pack leaders."

She turned back to her sister and Roxas, "How does that sound to you two? I know it puts a lot of responsibility on your shoulders but it covers quite a bit of the variability that could occur on this mission."

Hearing what Ophelia and Roxas found made Morthos feel a bit ill. He'd never done something this serious before, knowing what the wolves had done just strengthened his resolve to defeat them. Jax had a sound plan, Morthos knew he was definitely better off in the back lines, he seemed to be the only one out of the four of them who was more comfortable staying far away from the fight. Although if memory served Ophelia was pretty good with a bow. At any rate, Jax put her hand back on his thigh and asked him if he had anything that could keep the wolves from escaping.

He started by quickly casting Ghost Sound, it could make a wide range of sounds at varying volumes, if you wanted to use it for words you could only do a few at a time. Morthos just caused the quietest whisper in Jax's ear simply saying, "naughty girl." He then continued as if he didn't do that, "I've got something," he concentrated a second and caused a ring of fire to appear around the hot tub. "Now imagine that but much larger, lucky for you lots of things don't like fire," with a snap of his fingers the fire was gone. "Although to make something big enough to keep all the wolves in it'll take a lot of my mana," he mused, "I might be able to cast a couple rasas but most of my effort will need to be on the wall, I hope that's alright."

Ophelia watched Jax move her arm, knowing exactly what she was doing and she stifled a laugh and hid her smile. This was time for serious talk, yet these two were fooling around. She paid close attention then to Morthos. He was concentrating for a few moments before a ring of fire surrounded the hot tub. It added an extra warmth and flare to the scene, and Ophelia knew very well this would work to keep the Werewolves contained. Pretty much no one liked fire, unless they were somehow immune to it. She wondered for a moment if Morthos was immune to fire. She smiled slightly at the thought, her fangs just barely touching her bottom lip.

"That will work perfectly, Morthos. Even a short amount of time inside that ring will be long enough to take care of those dogs. They're strong and fast, but I've dealt with them before. I think Roxas and I will be able to handle the Alpha and Beta, Jax. Don't worry about that. We won't let you down," she said, her tone straight to the point. There was no way Ophelia would let this mission fail. She wanted to ensure this group went back to SPA victorious. And working together with a well thought out plan, was the best way to make sure that would be accomplished. The real struggle here, will be meeting with their parents. A shudder moved down Ophelia's spine, and she shifted in her seat slightly, the water and bubbles moving around her to splash at her sudden jolt. Her mind shifted from the plan of action, to feeding. It was always on her mind, whether at the front or not. She would definitely need to feed tonight to ensure she had full strength tomorrow. Feeding tonight would allow herself to be at her peak, as well as everyone else having full rest.

Ophelia moved slightly, so that Roxas' arm was around her waist. She yawned, feeling tired despite not having to sleep.
