Honey

The camera may have caught the entrance of the boss, but it probably didn't show the unimpressed look on Honey's face. She couldn't understand why the people of Pallet Town were so fixated on this guy. Ok, maybe they thought his appearance was attractive, or they admired his strength? Who knows. For now I'll at least respect him as a leader of the town, but that doesn't mean I have to like him. However she did notice his "cowboy" attire, maybe he'll at least appreciate her southern roots and treat her as an equal.

"Listen man, I get it. In these times, everyone's gotta be useful to the group, or else they're pullin' everyone else down." Which was really how she felt and lives by that statement. Honey hates nonsense and small talk so she didn't appreciate the joke, but she didn't mention it and cut straight to her reason for being in Pallet Town. "I found this place by accident and figured it was time I settled into a town for a bit. I'm just lookin' for a roof over my head and maybe a little protection from the outside." She decided not to mention her sister for now. She can do her own research around the town later, and maybe use the radio to her advantage. She looked around for any more questions and without hearing any, she picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder. She walked towards Nunchucks and smiled before asking, "So how about a tour of the town?"

Catherine

Interacting with: @Soph123

Catherine watched the boss enter and she intertwined her fingers to stop herself from involuntary tapping or scratching, she didn't find the boss attractive but then again she never really thinks about stuff like that. She thinks about making friends all the time but anything past that is like a void to her. Catherine doesn't even consider it a possibility and Aranea constantly reminds her of that. She stood up and backed off a little not feeling all that confident around Nunchucks. He was indeed the leader and had accepted Catherine into Pallet Town, but she also didn't want to hang around a figure who could easily kick her out if Aranea decided to perform some tomfoolery. She then weakly waved to Honey "I-I'll see you later Honey! Good luck!"

The feeling of unease churned in her 2 stomachs as she turned around and started to walk away. She wanted to stay with Honey seeing as she was nice, but she couldn't force herself to be close to Nunchucks for very long. That's it scurry away, we both know it's the best option. That girl was to nice anyway, she was only nice to you because you're scary. You know that right? Catherine paused shook her head a little and hissed to herself "Shut up..." Aranea simple giggled content with her successfully getting a reaction out of Catherine. It wasn't that often she could manage to make Catherine verbally respond.

Olive startled awake in a pool of sweat around her, the sheets were damp and there was a layer of wet on her skin, making everything stick to her body. She couldn't remember the nightmare but it was surely a nightmare. No good dream would leave her in a cold sweat, with a racing heart. Groggy with a side of annoyance, Olive sat up to better the wake up process. "How long was i out?....." She'd murmur to the space around her, rubbing the crust from her eyes and patting down the greasy hair atop her head. Olive craned her neck to left then to the right, the sudden pop in her spine and bone rattling created a tension releasing sigh. Standing to stretch her arms and legs out, a quick analysis of the sunlight out her window would tell her it was closer to noon at this point. Closing the window pane, her next move was towards the makeshift shower. If you could call an upside down 5 gallon bucket a shower than sure, it was. The bucket hung from a cord tied to the ceiling, sturdy enough to hold a full 5 gallons of clean water. It had holes in the bottom cut carefully small to imitate a real shower head. Olive filled the bucket once under it and cleaned off as quick as possible, taking advantage of the water as much as she could. Once finished with her faux cleaning, she'd do a smell test on her clothes and find the least offensive smelling sweater and pants to wear for the day. Finally ready to leave her shack for the first time in a while, Olive grabbed her gloves and a small sack to carry knick knacks and found things in. Her first stop was the diner, needing something other than stale bread rations to gnaw on. The last of a radio transmission was heard, fantasizing a new place to live for her neighbors. She'd think nothing of this new place, as padded living was a thing of the past. There was no safety now. Unfortunately there'd be no breakfast today, the idea of staying any longer and watching a kid try to rally others in to going to The End was unappetizing. She'd duck out just as the poor boy was being boo'd and forced off his soap box. Olive rubbed her stomach and promised it a good meal later, but first scraping. Her walk lead her to the entrance of pallet, hoping today would be the day the Guards would let her garbage digging tendencies be outside. Just for a moment or two. She even brought her gloves this time. They HAD to. As she approached and realized the trash fire she had walked in on, She'd come to understand the diner was probably better entertainment than being anywhere near Nunchuck. With no confidence whatsoever she'd talk herself in to approaching but every time she'd take a step closer to the ordeal in front of her, Olive would then talk herself OUT of it. She might as well be a chicken with its head cut off because that's what this dance of self esteem looked like to anyone who caught a glimpse of her being an awkward taco in public. There was no missing an extremely tall woman being undeniably confused with her actions. The fact that Olive was showing anything but calm, let alone being flustered, came from hunger and probably just waking up. She wasn't ever so baffled with options but she knew no one was allowed outside, and the fact that pallet had been picked over and there was nothing left in the form of scraps for her to mess with that she hadn't already messed with made this increasingly important, therefore increasingly nerve racking. Finally deciding on being a grown ass woman and thinking how dumb it'd be to be scared, she'd straighten her back and walk forward. Olive would stand on the outskirts of the saluting guards and Nunchuck, making a throaty cough to grab anyone's attention to her. Her words coming out louder than she'd intended, Olive would shout "Yes, Hi, I'd like to leave for the day. Thanks." The fact that she towered above some of these men and matched the height of others made her feel a bit more intimidating as she glanced around and felt better about herself. The pale woman with the baby mush colored hair, wanting to leave to scrap. Olive wasn't acting the smartest today for all the brains she had.

Nunchucks listed to the newcomer. He actively listened by nodding his head and tipping his hat at the end of her dialogue. The sheriff eyed the bag the woman slung over her shoulder. "So you've just bumped into this place by accident? Good thing you found shelter," he forced a smile on his face. He did remain suspicious of the woman. Her statement regarding the accidental discovery of Pallet Town seemed faulty to him.

He shrugged off the feeling; he looked around and inspected the men around him. Pointing at two nearby individuals, he waved for them to approach. Like hounds, they rushed over to him for orders. "Show this woman around. Make sure she knows some of the ups and downs," he shook his head over to the girl to demonstrate his point. The two men nodded with enthusiam and prepared to step over to her.

Nunchucks then grabbed them both by the arm. He pulled their heads together, whispering into their ears, they both nodded and understood completely what was asked of them. They saluted the sheriff then walked over to the possible new resident. Both of them breathed heavily in the woman's presence. "Ready when you are, Miss." One of them spoke in a grunt. The two men appeared extremely dirty and burly; food crumbs stuck to their beards. At hand, the two men were equipped with 2x4s.

Nunchucks started heading over to the gate when another woman stopped him. She did not necessarily stop him, but the man could overhear her. A group of men surrounded the tall woman after she abruptly made her request. Some of them took a step back after she spoke. Her message struck as extremely direct and commanding. A portion of the men exchanged glances and wondered if this woman seriously considered leaving. The sheriff sighed, he knew he had to address this woman.

Walking over to the woman, the other men moved to the side. He coughed a few times as he attempted to imitate the woman. "What's the problem? I don't let people out unless it's a perfectly good reason," the sheriff stated. He stepped closer to the woman, almost breaking her bubble of personal space. "You must be the fifth person this week to ask me," he complained.

One of the men spoke out and corrected him. "It's actually the eighth person today," Nunchucks grunted as he the soldier was not helping with the conversation. The man piped down at once. Shaking his head, the sheriff put a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe we can work something out. I'm sure we have a few things that need to be done around here. Finish a couple things and I'll think about letting out," he jerked his head over to one particular soldier for the woman to address.

He let go of her shoulder and tapped on her chin. "Work on her confidence a bit more, short stuff," he ironically called her. He turned around and started walking over to the outpost near the gate.

Around the restaurant, a blood-curdling scream could be heard.

Jonathan McCallen

Seeing as the boss had, indeed, come back, Jonathan had wanted to talk to him. However, he had first addressed the girl who had just entered. Jonathan decided to hang back and go to him in his office, perhaps, much much later. He then saw the man from earlier being pumped up and then running off to announce that he was going to 'The End'. Jonathan couldn't help but shake his head. But wait, he was going to end up going there as well. Maybe he should talk with that guy after. It was a crazy thought - he knew that much - but he wasn't doing anything and he could possibly find a clue there. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to travel with someone else once in a while. It would really be helpful too.

Jonathan had eased up when everyone roared to laughter - obviously not taking the man seriously. Truthfully, he'd rather have only a few travelling companions as travelling in a huge group would not be ideal. Besides, if there were only a few travelling to the mythological place of The End, then that would be perfect since there wouldn't be much problem for them to get into this city if it ever existed.

Just when he was about to walk around once more, there was a bloodcurdling scream coming from the restaurant. Memories flooded his mind of hearing his wife scream while he was weakening due to radiation. Jonathan finally snapped back to reality, his hand gripping his metal pipe so tightly that it would have threatened to break should it not have been special in its own way.

He looked at Martin before sprinting out to check what has happened, fully ready to actually harm anyone.

Catherine had been sitting there thinking on what Aranea said, this girl was nice because she was nice not because Catherine was scary. If people were to act nice just because she was scary looking wouldn't more people have been "nice" to her before? That would make sense she told herself Aranea was just talking shit, like she always did. Catherine shook her head once again and headed back towards her home hoping that Honey would be alright. Then her attention was grabbed by a scream, this was one of those rare moments where she could easily make a decision. And decision was to investigate the scream. So Catherine travelled as fast as her legs could carry her, she closed in on the restaurant she needed to consider what action she was going to take when she got there. What on earth could have caused someone to scream? she knew plenty of things outside of Pallet Town that could cause someone to scream. But here, inside the walls? Something was not right.

Catherine slowed as she thought about it more and more. Why was she going towards the scream? What if someone was in trouble? But then again why should she care? Catherine was puzzled why Aranea was being so quiet, it was around moments like this where she's say something like
Yeah nobody loves you. or It's probably just someone remembering your face. But no. Aranea was silent, perhaps she felt like a fight was what waited at the screams location, and if she waited she could get involved in it. This thought made Catherine a little nervous, but she had to know what had caused that scream and help if it was needed. She eventually arrived at the scene and slid slightly as she slowed down completely, she then looked upon the scene.

Olive was taken back by the physical touch of her person, but it didn't show in the slightest. She peered down at The Boss, taking in his face as he spoke. The potential slight embarrassment as a lower level officer corrected him, the need to use touch to gain the upper hand. Literally. It wasn't a bad offer, but she was curious what the need was before she agreed. In this town it was usually either prostitute or killer. Never did anyone need actual help with things like creating air conditioned flats, or making water proof boots for officers. As her thoughts crept more towards Nunchucks making a perverse joke out of HER need, she groaned. Slapping his hand away as he began to go for her face, Olive would make her decision clear. "No no, that isn't what i said. I need to scrap for another expierment. The town is dry of good metals and non radiated flora, as I've already cleared what i could. Olive crossed her arms loosely over her chest, she'd think for a moment of the list she needed and without being asked she'd begin to say it outloud to no one. "Copper piping...no, too much room for rust. Pvc? Maybe. Yes i need to find piping and ceramics. I remember that. Yes, like the vases we made in art class." She'd abruptly stop and look up from her shoes, staring at the back of Nunchucks head, then at the man he'd joke with only moments ago. "You'll let me leave, thank you. I have things needing to be finished.

Upon entering, Jonathan noticed the panic within the restaurant. Majority of the customers and regulars stood out of their seat in fear, their chairs knocked over possibly due to quick fight or flight response. The layout of the place was not complicated. Limited to about five rooms, it was easy to see where the trouble stirred. Jonathan and everyone else entered the main room, which individuals dine at the tables for their food.

The other rooms consisted of the men and women's restrooms, a janitorial closet, and the kitchen. Out of the all the rooms, the dining area and kitchen ranked the biggest. All the people currently dining stood and stared at the kitchen doors; therefore, the scream probably came from there. Two doors meant for entering and leaving the kitchen happened to have small circular windows attached. Whatever remained behind the door could not be seen because of the grime.

One waitress burst through the door. Her breathing showed inconsistency, sweat dripped down her forehead and her hands shook rapidly. She dropped to her knees heavily and pointed back at the door. A visible bite mark on her arm dripped crimson liquid on the wooden floor. Veins around the area turned into a darker color. She tried to speak, but could barely make out her words. "Someone...came...brought...it."

Some people looked at the door while others clearly noticed the bite mark. One person shouted and notified everyone she became infected with the virus. This caused all of the individuals inside to scream and argue amongst themselves. People contemplated leaving or going into the kitchen. Some even suggested killing the waitress right now. The restaurant certainly made a lot more noise than before and probably brought more attention. Throughout the argument, one of the kitchen doors swung open to reveal a completely infected individual.

The zombie walked sluggishly while moaning. He approached the woman on the floor and delivered a swipe to her face. Skin shred from her cheek, screaming as she got knocked over. The zombie ignored her and headed towards the other customers. Everyone proceeded to run into the furniture; they yelled out loud and frantically went to the exit.

The man gave Olive a confused look. He glanced at the sheriff who began heading to the wall's outpost. Stepping back, he started to stretch the collar of his shirt. "I can't make that decision. I just started to get on the captain's good side," he looked back to see if the captain was listening.

He stared at the girl once more. "Please just listen and let me do my job," he pleaded. His focus became interrupted when he started to hear a commotion in the center of town. He could sense trouble brewing. Screams were fading out.

"Look. Come with me and help me figure this shit out. I'll put a good word to the Nunchucks." He shook his head to the side and didn't move until he received an understanding from the woman. Some soldiers began to move to the area.

"Yooooo," Martin entered the restaurant just in time to see the horror unfold. He could not believe his eyes. Inside Pallet Town, a zombie rarely found itself inside. The boy barely had time to think. He looked around his surroundings for a tool or weapon. He wished he brought his radioactive means of attack, but he left it at his quarters.

Martin kept observing the area when the crowd of people began pushing him "Whoa! Watch it! I'm trying to help!" He became slightly useless and immobile by the fleeing individuals. He tried to get someone's attention. "Someone stop that zombie!"

The scene inside the restaurant was a very rare occurrence. Jonathan moved to the front of the crowd who made way for him easily thanks to his imposing stature and appearance. His grip on his pipe tightened as he approached the door. He wanted to know what was beyond it by looking through the glass windows, but they were covered in some kind of grime. He rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue - not that anyone could actually hear or see these actions. He then slowly approached the doors, having been overcome with curiosity and the will to protect. The crowd had held their breath and he extended his arm to open it when someone burst through the doors. Jonathan quickly jumped back and raised his pipe.

It was a waitress. He narrowed his eyes at the waitress with his pipe aimed at her. She shakily pointed back at the kitchen. Jonathan could clearly see the bite on her arm - crimson liquid dripping from the wound. The moment he saw it, he knew that others noticed it as well. They broke into murmurs and suggestions on what action they should do next. He looked at the waitress without much interest. No, there was something else in there. He also knew that there were those who don't become full-fledged zombies because of zombies and that might be the case for the waitress. Jonathan wasn't an expert in this so he didn't really care. He swiped off a relatively clean towel and then handed it to the waitress. "Tie it around the wound. Good luck." He offered those words so that she would calm down and try to become optimistic. He wondered if it could work in an area where someone was openly suggesting to kill her.

They couldn't risk the protection of everyone just for her, after all.

However, just as he finished saying those words, the zombie finally came through the door and swiped at the waitress. This caused the population to burst into panic as they ran away from the infected human - stumbling over furniture and pushing each other to get away quickly. The waitress was now cowering over to the side, bleeding from yet another wound. How saddening. Jonathan looked back at the zombie who was no proceeding to go to the others who were panicking. Jonathan had faced so many of those zombies that he didn't even feel afraid anymore - not that he could afford it in this world. He heard the man from earlier yell something about taking care of the zombie. There was no need to state the obvious, at least, not for him.

He quickly aimed to hit the zombie with the full force of his power so that it would stumble back to the kitchen. It would leave the opponent dazed for a while and he would take the chance to strike the zombie with a downward swipe. He wasn't scared of leaving himself open to the zombie's attacks as it wouldn't really affect him all that much aside from yet another torn clothing that he would just have to stitch himself. The wound, itself, would be no problem. Not with all those radioactive pools scattered around Pallet Town.

Catherine approached the diner and peered through the door, she was a little to large to fit in the door easily so she decided not to try and squeeze in. She couldn't see much of anything because of the crowd, she quietly whined as she tried to get a look at the cause commotion. She squinted but was unable to make any headway on why there was an uproar, then she heard the words zombie and infected being thrown around and her face grew pale.Oh no... She went to start squeezing into the door but then more screaming rang out and her eyes widened as the horde of onlookers came rushing towards her.

Catherine quickly dislodged herself from the door and backed away from the door, despite her haste she was unable to get out of the way fast enough. A fleeing citizen collided with her second right leg, it was kind of like stubbing your toe except the pain was in her entire leg. She recoiled bumping another person, the tide of people almost surrounding her. But as quickly as the people had rushed her they had vanished, Catherine held her hurt leg off the ground and gave it a gentle rub. She unconsciously growled, this would sound strange given her simple attire and fairly soft face.

They do travel in herds... Dammed humans... Catherine frowned at her injured leg only letting it take her focus for a moment before looking back into the diner. Shock stuck through her as she finally saw the cause of all the chaos, its shambling movements and putrid flesh easily distinguishing it. A zombie! She quickly took some steps back wincing as her sore leg hit the ground. Her eyes were wide with fear her pupils constricting and shaking. She felt her hand twitchLet me out you idiot! Catherine shook her head at this moment running was an easy alternative then letting Aranea have at the walking corpse. She raised her sore leg off the ground and started to turn to flee with the rest of the civilians but turning for her was much slower then a normal person especially while worrying about a sore leg.

Jonathan certainly knew his way around zombies. The lone zombie quickly fell victim to the radioactive man's strikes. The first attack pushed a lot of weight onto the walking rot monster. No brain activity remained, only pure instinct. Catching it off guard,
the zombie stumbled into the kitchen.

The hit did cause it to go off balance momentarily. Regaining its footing, the infected human tried to push back with a strike.
Knowing Jonathan, an individual zombie can easily be taken care of. The downward assault with his pipe proved to be an effective result.
The zombie could not finish its attack as the blunt weapon crashed into its skull. A soft, squishy sound emitted upon impact. Falling downward, blood splattered over the area. Its head started to look like a raw spaghetti dish.

In the kitchen area, the place resembled a crime scene. Pots and pans cluttered the floor; a fight definitely broke out in here. Blood stains painted the countertop, but not from Jonathan's recent assault. The lights on the stove continued to stay lit indicating the fight broke out during a meal in preparation. Everything hinted to the elephant in the room.

The waitress from before must not have been the only one on duty. Two males in aprons laid out on the floor; crimson liquid oozed from their sides. Most likely, these two had to be the chefs. They both showed no signs of breathing. Two more dead victims in the restaurant meant more burials and more panic. This was not good.

Although, something was fishy. By closer inspection, the chefs did not have any bite marks. Their throats slit and stab wounds were visible on their sides.

"Hey, did you get the thing?" Martin managed to push himself through the crowd. He pushed the kitchen door with all of his strength. The kid did seem enthusiastic to help. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he couldn't have some weirdo take all the credit. The door slammed against the wall because of too much applied pressure. Martin had to catch the door as he launched back to make sure it doesn't hit him in the face.

As he caught it, his eyes immediately scanned the room. He met the crushed skull of the zombie and other two bodies on the tiled floor. The sight churned his stomach quickly. His eyes couldn't believe the severe wounds on the body or the excessive blood. His throat started to increase in temperature. Before he knew it, Martin puked over the kitchen door.

"This is so nasty!"

Jonathan seemed pleased with himself when the zombie was taken care of. It certainly couldn't walk now. With its head bashed, he was certain that the zombie wouldn't come back to life after that. He looked at his bloody pipe and frowned. Well now. He took a cloth that was laying around in the kitchen and began to wipe off the blood. While he was doing this, he surveyed the scene. The stoves had been left open and there was blood everywhere which was not caused by him.

He slowly made his way to the stove and turned it off. His eyes slowly trailed towards the two chefs who lay - dead. He prepared his pipe and threw away the cloth. He prodded the dead bodies with the pipe to see if they would respond. They didn't. Odd. He knelt down and saw that they weren't even bitten. In fact, all these were made with a sharp object - a knife most likely. Their throats were slit.

Then it dawned upon him.

"Oh fuck..." He muttered. That was when the man from earlier slammed the door open to reveal the rather gruesome scene. Jonathan had been all too used to violence so he didn't even feel the least bit revolted from the sight. Even before the apocalypse, his mind was already riddled with dead bodies from a war. He watched as Roman doubled over and let out his lunch. Once more, the man remained emotionless.

"Kid, let me be frank to you. That zombie didn't kill these two." Jonathan said, pointing at the two bodies. His tone didn't hold any sort of emotion - not urgency or sadness or anything. Just a robotic hum. He then began striding towards the door, avoiding the puke that now messed up the floor. He opened the door, scanning for the waitress. "Where's the waitress at? I have some questions. Is the chief already here? I'm sure he'll find this most interesting." He let out the questions quickly. He was worried about the child's well-being and mental state after seeing the three dead bodies, but there were more pressing matters to attend to.

Like, finding out what the hell happened inside that kitchen that led to two chefs who died by being stabbed, a zombie roaming around and a bitten waitress.

Honey

Interacting with:@Leaves

Honey stood in front of Nunchuck, letting him speak. She stayed quiet and didn't respond to his comment, but thought to herself, Ok Honey, now don't cause any more trouble around here. They're already suspicious enough. She watched the two men approach her and gave a joking salute to Nunchuck. Honey was about to address the soldiers, asking them to show her around, but she heard an awful scream coming from part of the town. Her head whipped around to the noise, and she instinctively brought her hand to her weapon. She noticed people, including Catherine, running towards the sound and Honey felt the same pull to go towards the action. She saw that the two men were distracted by the noise and she took her chance to sneak to the scream. I'm sure they won't mind, I mean, it's not like I'm going anywhere..., Honey reassured herself and headed towards the building that was forming a crowd around it.

She looked around to make sure the guards weren't following her and forced her way inside the building. There she witnessed a scene all too familiar for her. Honey was reminded of all the outbreaks in her past towns, especially her last town, where her parents died and she lost her sister. Before she could react to the situation, a man bashed in the head of the zombie. She let out a sigh of relief, but only for an instant, when she realized that there was a woman who was infected. Honey realized she's seen more than enough and wanted to get back to the guards before they realized that she was gone. As she was heading back to the gate, she heard the sound of someone vomitting and cringed.

Catherine had gone to start running but then the slight sound a human head being invaded via large blunt object caught her ear. Then her fear was slightly settled, either the zombie had been dealt with or someone was in trouble. Both were good reason for her to go back, she wanted to know what had happened even if only slightly. Aranea wanted to know as well taking advantage of their temporarily aligned goal. As she got closer to the door of the restaurant she started to call out."H-hello!" She kept her distance from the door not wanting a possibly zombie to catch her while she worked her way through the door.

She remained out the front unable to convince herself that it was a good idea to go through the door. That was until she saw a man with a pipe walk out of the kitchen, she let out a sigh of relief. The people were alright she would then call to them again
"Are you alright? W-what's going on in there?" Her curiosity was gnawing away at her like a swarm of locusts, she very much wanted to know if they had any possible idea on how a zombie had made it's way into town. That thought alone would prevent her from sleeping tonight on it's own, but not knowing how, that would keep her awake for the whole week. Suddenly safe haven didn't feel so safe.

"What do you mean?" Roman wiped his mouth when the sleeve of his shirt. He still tasted the hot barf in his mouth. Spitting on the ground, he tried to rid the flavor. He coughed shortly afterwards and stuck his tongue out, his face showing a sour expression.

The kid listened to the radioactive man and decided to see for himself. Once he stepped closer to the two bodies, he inspected them to see the cause of death. He did not get too close as he did not want to throw up twice in one day. Roman figured out what the other guy insisted on. No zombie could slit throats and stop there. Martin felt this situation was complexed. ”Wow, you’re right. No zombie could have done this.

Before the duo could talk any further, soldiers started pushing through the restaurant door. They took a moment to access the situation. Pairs of eyes kept glancing back and forth between Jonathan and Catherine. More soldiers kept walking and entered the kitchen area. One person concealed his identity with a mask and near him was a bloody rag. Another individual stood over two dead bodies. The new arrival was in the restaurant as well. Additionally, a fucking spider lady was stumbling around.

One man confronted Martin and pushed him to the wall. All the other men began pointing their makeshift guns and melee weapons at the people inside. The alarmed citizens outside must have contacted or alerted the muscle of Pallet Town. All the soldiers talked at once in aggressive mannerism. An individual man repeatedly poked Jonathan in the chest. Each dialogue resulted in an accusation or a form of question. One of the more consoled minions shook his head and withdrew a walkie-talkie. ”Hey, Nunchuck. Pick up. We have a situation here in the restaurant. Same as before. Likely suspects here.

A few seconds of silence and a voice responded back. A sigh could be heard followed by a confirmation.

Jonathan watched as the kid went inside to see the state of the two bodies. The masked male turned his attention back to the doors and then opened them to reveal a spider girl. Oh, he had been meaning to talk to her for the past few days he'd spent here in Pallet Town. Though, he would've liked to meet her in less... chaotic circumstances. While he would've liked to stay and talk, he really need to find the boss and see what he would think of this situation. However, she had posed a question and he felt duty bound to respond to it. "Yes, we are fine. There are two dead bodies inside, both chefs I would presume. The zombie's taken care of, but still no idea how it got in here." He then looked at the zombie and his bashed skull and had the urge to kick it. If anything, it reminded him of his little sister who had perished because of them. However, he didn't exactly have the want to be seen as more of a lunatic than before.

Before he could step outside to look for the boss, the soldiers began swarming inside. Well, they took their sweet time getting there. Jonathan stepped aside so that they could access the kitchen. He could see their wary eyes looking back and forth - cautiously assessing them because of their likely involvement at one point. He had no reason to lie. They pointed their guns at him and he eased his hold of his metal pipe, not wishing to drop it but still wanted to keep it close. It was a rather important item to him after all. Their combined aggressive voices was really annoying since they couldn't find a calm and logical way of finding out what happened. One of them kept prodding him while poking his chest - it was either an accusation or a question. Jonathan replied to everything honestly, dissuading the accusation and then telling them that he had merely arrived on the scene when he heard the scream and then incapacitated the zombie so that it would not harm anyone else. They could go ask the natives and see how the reacted to his story. It should be good, since he was telling the truth. Though, was there anyone who saw it?

Hearing that the boss would be coming, he seemed to ease up. Jonathan knew that he would questioned once more, but the boss had a relatively calm mind and a good head on his shoulders so perhaps it wouldn't be too bad.

Catherine was relieved when she was told by the slightly frightening man with the pipe that he was alright, but the the two chefs in the kitchen were dead. She may not have known them well if at all but any death was something to be sad about, though the zombie being killed slightly lightened the mood for her but this could be attributed to Aranea's love of death. She rubbed her sore leg and looked slightly worried "It is concerning to say the least... I'm still having trouble believing it..." She looked down at the zombies pasted skull one of her fingers twitched and she looked away not sure how to feel. Then the soldiers started started flooding into the cafe, now Catherine was slightly glad she hadn't squeezed through the door. There were so many people in there now and Catherine doesn't do cramped spaces, not out of fear but more out of need.

She was shocked as they all started raising weapons, Catherine put her hands in the air to show she meant no harm even if no weapons got pointed at her. Her left index finger twitched as Aranea displayed he distaste at how much of a little bitch Catherine was.
"W-what going on? T-the zombie has been dealt with, a-and the man with the pipe was the one to save everyone!" Catherine tried to make out any of the accusations being thrown around then one struck her suspects!? Catherine didn't know how to take this and Aranea was livid, she didn't fight for control though she knew that lashing out at so many soldiers wouldn't be fun or productive. These fucking idiots! One dude is literally standing right there with a zombie brain covered pipe! There's that kid who's probably to stupid to have pulled this off. And you couldn't even get your massive ass into the cafe! Fucking monkey people honestly! Catherine felt kinda bad because she agreed with Aranea to some extent.

Roman did not how to respond. A bunch of soldiers began surrounding him -- almost as if he was the prime suspect. The kid chuckled nervously and pulled the collar of his shirt. A trickle of sweat dripped down his forehead; the men obviously had weapons which did cause some panic inside Roman. He particularly would not have felt so nervous if he was armed too. His giant poultry weapon was at his home so there was no chance he could show it off as an intimidation tactic.

"Whoa, whoa! I did not sleep with that woman," he tried to detain the situation by joking around. He put his hands up to show no harm."You guys get it? It's my Cosby impersonation. Or Murry," he laughed. After a few seconds, he forced a smile and shook his head. "I never finished a history class so I don't know if that's 100% accurate," he admitted.

His lack of presidential knowledge annoyed one of the soldiers. He shook his blunt 2x4 back and forth ordering Martin to pipe down. "Okay, okay. No need to get so Hillary on me, man."

The soldier looked around and listened to the words of the man with a pipe in hand. Almost all of them tighten their grip around their weapons. It seemed too odd that all of the weirdos were collected at a murder scene. One soldier frankly responded by saying he did not believe the individual. Another soldier spouted that he thought the whole situation was fishy. Then everyone began speaking up at once. It was almost hard to hear or catch what anyone was trying to say.

Before anyone could speak coherently, the restaurant's entrance doors opened wide. Everyone still spoke out loud without even checking who had entered the building. A man with boots tapped on the floorboards to gain everyone's attention, but that did not work. He attempted to cough; however, no one listened or paid attention. Growing agitated, he put two fingers to his mouth and made a loud whistle.

All the men in the building stopped talking and turned around. There stood the man of the town, Nunchucks, looking quite displeased with the situation. He tipped his cowboy hat up and his hands at his waist. Eyeing the scene, he started bouncing his head up and down. "Will someone please tell me what the fuck is going on?" Some men began to open their mouth, but Nunchucks stopped them with a hand gesture.

"Not you, not you, not fucking you." He said pointing at each individual. The sheriff of the town observed the woman crying in pain on the floorboard. He then saw the kitchen door open where the dead zombie laid. "You, tell me what is going on," his index finger pointed in Jonathan's direction. The masked man holding the lead pipe intrigued Nunchucks.

Jonathan was getting more and more frustrated as the guards refused to listen to the truth. He was so close to just turning and leaving to see what they would do. They didn't even know how to discuss everything properly. Like, hey, maybe they could investigate more and then see what conclusion they would get. But perhaps that's because they weren't trained like he was back in the day. He may have been in the military, but he studied up on tactics and strategies that also honed some form of investigatory instinct in his mind. Perhaps these guards didn't get that since they were raised mostly in this post-apocalyptic world.

When the door opened, Jonathan was lulled to silence but the guards continued speaking. Nunchuks did a lot of things to get their attention - but only a sharp whistle made them stop and turn to him. Finally. Jonathan was still silent when the boss asked the question. He saw some of the guards attempt to reply to the chief but was promptly silenced by him.

Jonathan was genuinely surprised that he immediately pointed to him to explain the situation. There was a robotic hum coming from his translator but then he nodded. "I came here when there was some commotion in the restaurant. A woman came out, the waitress who was bitten, and then was followed by this zombie." He pointed his pipe at the zombie through the kitchen doors. "Of course, I took care of the zombie but... well, it would seem that two other people were murdered in the kitchen. Except, they were killed by stab wounds - not zombie marks."

He then gestured for Nunchuks to follow. He stepped through the doors, stepped over the zombie, and then pointed his head towards the two dead chefs. "Someone alive killed these two." With that, he was finished. He then paused and looked at the chief to see what his reaction would be. This was a very big problem for everyone. Not only was there a zombie inside the town, but there were also two murders. For such a safe place, that would mean the end of the feeling of safety. There was a killer running around, and they didn't know who it was.

Catherine remained standing there with he hands up the few weapons that were pointed at her did make her slightly concerned but Aranea seemed more annoyed then worried. Catherine could hardly hear anything over the roar of the many soldiers, then she froze as yet again she was near Nunchucks, though this wasn't surprising considering the situation that didn't help to calm her nerves. She winced at the loud whistle her hands lowering slightly partly out of wanting to cover her ears and partly out of fear. Then the man with the pipe started explaining what had happened, the zombie had come from the kitchen. But that wasn't the worst part, that honour was taken by the fact that two people had been killed by someone who was alive. What kind of person would kill their fellow citizens of Pallet Town? The though was chilling to say the very least, she knew that life outside the walls could be this inhospitable. But inside the walls, it was just as unthinkable as a zombie getting in and twice as frightening. Shit just got real.
