Livia

"Tsk," Livia frowned slightly. "I'm not a landlord nor a house seller, Miss Selvina. I hardly have enough time to handle my own affairs since I've been taking care of a child recently." She sighed, leaning back in her chair. She sounded tired. "Your resourceful, dear. I'm sure you can handle it...though, if you want servants perhaps ask my Cynthia. She handles all of that for me. I can't think of any vacant housing on campus, but you should perhaps look in the town. Despite what I said earlier, the mayor is always eager to welcome in new citizens. As long as you realize that you will not be given special consideration simply because of your family, I'm certain you could come to some agreement." Livia never personally picked her servants - she had trained Cynthia to do that for her. Less trouble for her in the long run, though only because Cynthia herself was completely...well, mostly Loyal. That aside though...

"You've picked up quite the cat, my dear student." Livia's mouth turned into a smirk as she observed Meowka making a rather obvious emphasis on the word. "Seems she has some rather...humorous notions about you." She laughed lightly, taking a sip of tea, gaze turning towards Meowka. "Tell me cat, what makes your mistress so powerful, hmm?" Oho, this was going to be quite fun, wasn't it? From her observations this cat was a simple one. Easy to mess with, but also easy to please.

Chione

"Aha....flirting? Did I say that?...surely I didn't." Her gaze shifted to the side, face reddening a little as she did a rather bad attempt at denial. "Ahem, I mean, I am a priestess and I have taken vows. Flirting as such would be breaking them." She turned her gaze back to Kozue, giving her a fairly stern gaze. "You didn't hear me say any such thing. You misheard." Pressing the issue might not be so fun for Kozue. Of course, she had said it. She just didn't like so easily acknowledging her life before now.

Whatever Kozue may have had to say about that was quickly dismissed by the appearance of a certain undine. A pillar of water formed at the lakes edge, before forming into the shape of Celine.

"Kozue." She greeted in her usual cool manner. "...and another..." She stopped speaking, gaze lingering on Chione. "...humph. What are you doing here? Rather, what are you and why are you here?" She asked the priestess.

"...Oh, is this the spirit you mentioned?"

Miren

"O-oh! Uhm, s-sure?" Miren's face reddened. Eith was warm as always. It was funny that she was so comfortable around the hellhoud, after being absolutely terrified of her the first day they met. "A walk sounds nice. I wasn't planning on opening the store today anyways. Any particular place you want to go to?" The lake sounded lovely to her, but there was always other places they could go.

Khira & Avaline

Hmm...this place was far too noisy. It made her ears hurt. So many sounds and smells. Human smells. Hrmph. Weak things. Khira walked down the street, getting more than a few odd looks this early in the morning but for the most part no one paid her any mind. No one wanted to mess with a Chimaera - or someone that looked like they could break you in half with little effort. Good. As it should be. Weak things. That said, she had found a familiar smell among the masses. A certain Wyrm that had been bought here along with her.

"Ah..."

"Humph. Lizard." Khira stood in front of them, with an obviously aggressive manner.

"Ah! Cat-snake-goat thing!"

"I have a name, now. Khira." She replied. "Though it means little to you." Khira cast a glance to Maoin, the snake tail giving her a friendly seeming wave. "Doing well, kitten?"

"I have a name now too! It's Avaline!" She replied confidently.

Meowka frowned slightly as her mistress' explanation was serious. The cat didn't like any sort of puppy, but if it was for the sake of her owner and her subordinates it was acceptable. As for Selvina, she looked towards the teacher with a slightly white face. The labors of Hercules? That was a bit ... much ... it seemed? Hopefully she'd only be apprenticed for a short period of time in that case? "Uh ... Yeah, thank you. I'll be um glad to work with you, Miss Lindall."

Sel shook her head at the headmistress' suggestion. "I'll look for help around for the house on my own then, in addition to someone to staff it." At least someone else would be cleaning things if she was going to be worked like a slave. "I'll be sure to arrange something with him, then. I'll return to Miss Lindall if I have any other questions." The mage bowed before turning to leave.

As for Meowka, her ears perked up and tail shot up. Despite Livia's attempt to make it clear that her mage was her former student Meowka did not seem to notice. Whether it was because of the first half of the statement was distracting her or if she simply believed this to be some sort of teacher surpasses the student situation, only the gods could tell. Either way, her cheek puffed up (rather adorably) as she seemed to hold her emotions in before delivering an answer. "Well she obviously is powerful because she managed to capture me.
Only the strongest could ever accomplish that."
The cat spoke as if it was some sort of grand accomplishment. "And besides, she has an army of dolls that obey her every whim."

For a couple of seconds Meowka stared at Livia. "And she also has the power of sex appeal. You might be the headmistress, but she could teach you some lessons in that area." In spite of herself, the cat began to blush just a bit. Not because she was lying, but because surely she'd be teased by the dollmaster later about it.

Maoin was slightly surprised at Khira, jumping back a bit and looking upward from the irritating walk she was forcing herself to go on. Yes, the woman who had disabled her on their trip - and also saved her life. Despite having had to large possibility of having killed her, the cat didn't hold it against the chimera. She had just been defending her home.

She was at least glad to be able to escape Avaline's antics with what would hopefully be a decent conversation. "It's been going well, Khira. I'm currently escorting Miss Avaline around the lake." It would be obvious this was at least a bit painful for the servant. "Has the city been treating you well?"

The cat spoke a bit with a smile. "If you're wanting some company, you can walk with us. After all, you saved my life." Maoin broadened her smile and giggled a bit, hopefully making it apparent that it had been a small joke.

Otille Kohler

The farmer eventually left the room quietly, giving her familiar a soft kiss on the forehead. Hopefully Cocoa would just remain asleep, but Otille informed the barkeep to tell the cow that she had gone out for just a bit if her familiar came downstairs - the german was near confident the former livestock couldn't read.

It was still a while until she'd need to meet up with Lady Luna - Otille's cheeks flushed more than she cared to admit just thinking about the dreamy woman - but for now she needed to think about finding a job. Perhaps the headmistress could help with that, and possibly sort out this situation with the dragon? Either way, she didn't want to see the 'appraiser' again, that was for sure.

Cynthia would hear a knock on the manor door as the farmer headed to the wrong location, looking to speak to the Headmistress at home.

Elf Girl

"This city is stifling and the sun bright... How do these humans do this sort of thing every day?" A short, dark-skinned elf girl asked herself as she walked through the town surrounding the academy proper. "Why do they like the sun so damned much?" She had only come to this town to study magic... And she wanted to study under the most powerful since she was the most powerful Dark Elf. "Accursed sun..." She had just been there for a day, as she needed to travel down from the North East.

She came upon someone young and looked like a student. The Elf pulled her face together and gave a really happy look. "Hi there! I'm new here and you look like a student here! Could you perhaps... Point me in the direction of the Headmistress of the academy?"

The girl looked surprised. "Huh? The Headmistress? She has a mansion that way and her office is that way." She said, pointing in the directions.

At that point, the Elf grabbed the girl's hand with both of hers and shook it. "Thank you! I'll be on my way then!" She said skipping away lightly before turning away from the girl and having her face sour a bit. "Tch, I have to figure out where she is now. I'll try her residence first I suppose."

After a somewhat short walk, the Elf girl found herself at a Villa of some sort. She had the look of irritation on her face, but changed that as soon as she noticed that someone else was there. "Oh my! Someone else here to see the Headmistress? How exciting. My name is Astrid Dokkalfar. It's a pleasure to meet you." When the door eventually opened, she'd introduce herself to whoever would open the door as well

Kozue Komichi

"Yes, she is." Kozue answered before turning to the Undine. "Greetings, we were out for a jog. I am merely assisting another priestess... Though, you imply she is not so human. Not that I care much so long as she is not a demonspawn." The Shrine-Maiden said, looking to Chione with curiosity. "Though, even if you were I hardly think I could bring myself to hate you." This Chione was certainly off, so Kozue knew there was something about her, though she wasn't wholly sure.

Katherine Lindall

"I kept telling her she has the wrong idea, but she doesn't listen." Katherine told Livia. "Oh, Sw--Selvina. Make sure you come to my first class today. I'm doing an intro today for some newer students. I'd love to use you..'r expertise." She added, before the girl left. "I want to do that introduction class then I believe we should do the mutt's training..." She said to herself, looking between the interaction from Livia and Meowka. She was ready to step in if Livia did something.

Livia

Livia had to refrain from bursting out into laughter.

Oh this cat was just hilarious. 'Sex Appeal'? Katherine? Well, quite certainly she liked to think her little student was adorable, and had all the right amount of curves in all the right amount of places...but there was hardly any competition between them. The headmistress calmly sat the teacup back on the desk, smiling to herself in obvious amusement. She wouldn't do anything to the kitten...nothing too bad, anyways.

"Aha, I can't say you're wrong." Livia leaned back in her chair, chuckling lightly to herself. "Katherine is quite the attractive one...I should know, I've had my hands all over her many times before." She stood up, walking slowly out from behind her desk as she continued to speak. "And she hasn't been able to keep her hands off of me for as long as she's been attending here." Enough about Katherine though, she was going to make the cat think twice about saying she was anything less than she was again. She walked over to where Meowka was standing, giving the kitten a suggestive smirk as she grabbed one of her hands.

"Have you ever been...seduced, Meowka?" Livia asked rather bluntly, looking down at the kitten. "It's a shame...you're quite the pretty little thing, you know."

Chione

"Aha, of course I'm a human." Chione replied witha small smile. "I am Chione Qebechet, it is a pleasure to meet you miss...?"

"...Hmph I am Celine." The undine replied, not sparing another glance at Chione. "You are welcome at my lake, godling, but do not overstay your welcome." Celine replied fairly nonchalantly, for the most part ignoring Chione. "I suppose it matters not." The other priestess frowned, getting the distinct feeling she was being ignored. "I felt a some human washing their filthy hands in my water...but it was just you two. Training, Kozue?" She asked almost as if mildly interested in it.

Khira, Avaline, & Sorcha

"Hrm...it is loud, hurts my ears and so many weak humans everywhere." Khira replied, placing a hand on her hip as she growled irritably. "So many unfamiliar things. Uncomfortable." She cast a glance at a few people walking by. "It will take some getting used too. These humans are weak but I am a stranger here." She decided not to speak of what exactly the kitten was doing. She didn't seem to be enjoying it too much, but such was not her place to speak of. "How fare you, pet? And Avaline?"

"Uhm uhm!" Avaline waved a hand around almost as if asking permission to speak, then doing so anyways. "the small black cat has showed me wonderful eating places!" It really seemed like Avaline detected no Ill intent on Maoin's part, of if she did she was ignoring it. "And-and, Master Luna is so nice to me." Khira smiled a bit at Avaline's words, laughing lightly. As soon as Maoin replied, she'd start walking.

"Aha...Pet - Maoin, I'll decline the offer. I hear the sound of an approaching storm and it is not my place to meddle." Her tail slapped Maoin on the butt as she walked by. " But do not be so hard on that one. She is but a child who has been let down by others too many times." Unless maoin made a move to stop her, Khira would continue to walk. Avaline didn't seem to hear what she had said. She had instead, been focusing on the lightning spewing beast that was currently landing not far in front of them.

"...Avaline. Maoin." Sorcha greeted the two of them coolly. "Let us head back for now. I tire of this...'exercise' Luna is making us do."

Cynthia

So many things to do to prepare for Nitsa's arrival. The Atlantean princess was not one she was going to not impress. Last time was a rushed visit because of ill notice, but now, she was going to impress. She had to ensure everything was good and well. Clean, spotless, and overall perfect. Of course, the bonus was she got to watch Mugi move around in a maid uniform but details details. What she wasn't wanted, was to get interrupted by a knock at the door. The head maid frowned lightly, walking to the front door in a mild hurry and opened it.

"..." Cynthia opened the door, seeing two people there. A...rather plain looking girl of sorts. A student? And an elf of all things. "Livia is currently out." She replied in her usual taciturn manner. "She is currently at her office." She'd like to just tell them to go away so she can finish cleaning, but that would be rude. She opened the door, allowing them to come inside if they wished. "But do come in. I shall inform her she has guests." If anything, Livia would be fairly interested in the elf.

Cocoa

"A little...higher..." Cocoa was now cuddling a pillow that she thought was Otille as she slept. "OOh, that's my nose don't poke it..." Se snuggled the pillow harder, the poor, fluffy thing almost crying out for someone to save it from being crushed by its tormentor. Of course, it wasn't going to happen. No, poor little pillows like it never were saved unless the one using them woke up.

"B-bwuh!?" Could it be? Had the sleeping one woken? Was it saved? "Otille...?" Cocoa sat up on the bed, drowsily taking a look around the room, and quickly realizing that Otille was gone. "Otille!?" She shouted, more than a little concerned. Quickly the cow went about looking around the room, checking everywhere she could possibly think the human was hiding. Under the bed, in the closet, and even outside the window. But no, no, Otille was nowhere to be seen!

"A-ah!" Oh what if she was in danger? What if Otille needed her? Had she been kidnapped? Or or...no, She would not thing of that last one. Otille needed her, yep! Without a word to anyone else in the bar, Cocoa stormed out, a one-cow stampede as she bolted through the town in search of Otille.

The chimera found herself uncomfortable with the noise - Maoin could obviously sympathize, as her ears were likely just as effective. Though she adjusted to the volume almost immediately - even as a literal kitten, she'd been fairly sociable with people. It might have been one of the advantages of being summoned from a domesticated animal.

The cat tried not to say anything as Avaline responded - she had a name aside from 'small black cat' but it probably wasn't worth trying to correct the reptile. And showed her wonderful eating places? Lady Lightsword's secondary familiar practically forced her to. As Avaline finished babbling though, Maoin gave her own response. "I'm doing ... well as usual, though I'm adjusting to new circumstances after our trip." She hoped Khira would sympathize with her, but instead she yelped as a reptilian tail hit her behind - it didn't hurt at all, it was just really embarrassing and made her cheeks flush a deep red as the older cat fled the 'storm that was approaching'.

She heard the sound of a runaway cowgirl in the distance, but the sound of her ladys wings and Khira in general were the focuses of her attention. As her wonderful owner landed on the ground in front of them, the cat said hello to her owner. "Of course, my Mistress." By this point, the cat was so happy to see her that she could cry - though that happiness fell a bit as she sensed a general cold coming from her owner's direction and the ever present essence of stupidity incarnate behind her. "And please don't fall behind, Li- Miss Avaline." A little of the cat's soul disappeared each and every time she addressed the nimwit like that.

Her cheeks were still a little flushed though despite that introduction, and Maoin quickly decided that perhaps starting a new conversation would help her lady get home in decent shape and prevent the two from murdering one another. "Um, Mistress, remember Khira - the Chimera from the trip?" The kitten put her fingers together a little nervously. "She keeps um ... spanking my behind, miss. With her tail. And er ... being a bit ... friendly, when she sees me?"

Maoin wondered if her owner had any commentary.

W-what? Had her hands all over her mistress? Meowka blinked a couple of times, a little jealousy filling her veins. Okay, maybe more than a little. Her fists clenched as the older woman approached, Meowka remained still and tried not to start anything. She got the idea: her mistress liked to play with people. That was fine. There was nothing she could do about it. That didn't mean people had to keep fucking shoving it in her face.

Though as one of her hands felt another wrapping around it, Meowka seemed surprised. That surprise would have quickly grown into hostility, if the next question didn't throw her off guard. Seduced? Ronat hadn't tried, and neither had Mistress Katherine nor any other third party. Not that she hadn't given out invitations. Like she told the puppeteer - she was very inexperienced with this stuff. "N-No-"

She tried to collect her thoughts, but the compliment threw her further off guard. For a couple seconds it would be clear that Meowka was off her game, but the girl quickly recollected herself and yanked her hand away violently before pushing the headmistress back with a single hand. She wasn't giving any ground to this woman. Not a single goddamn inch. "No, I haven't been seduced. Neither of my mistresses has ever made a move on me, damn me for my efforts." Meowka glared at the woman in front of her. "But ya know what?" The cat smirked a bit - a little evilly, in fact. Her nose sniffed the air a bit, her eyes narrowing. "I'm not going to betray her. And if I was, I'd rather spend the night with my own fingers - no, a rabid dog - than you!"

Meowka's eyes looked over at her mistress. "She doesn't seem to think I'm 'a pretty little thing'," Katherine would sense a good deal of sadness flow up in the cat, though she maintained her composure. Her eyes returned to the woman in front of her. ", but that's fine. She cares for me. So fuck my mistress, go ahead, I hope she enjoys it. At least I'm not stooping to bragging about my sexual conquests to my friend's teenage pet just to make a point."

The cat finally focused her gaze onto Katherine's, ears dropping a bit and falling from their previously active level to being virtually flat. Meowka didn't feel very pretty, not with her constant frustrations. And she knew that Katherine was likely going to be mad at her, which honestly scared her a little. "I-I'll go outside if you want, Mistress Katherine."

Otille Kohler

Oh! What a cute girl! Otille stared at the small one for a few seconds before responding. "Oh! Hi Astrid! I'm Otille!" She was obviously curious about what this was that she was looking at - she'd never seen one before - but she didn't want to be rude. Maybe a familiar? She might ask about it later.

The woman blinked as a maid opened the door, Otille smiling in turn. "Thank you! No hurry, I don't have much else to do today!" The farmer would let herself be guided to where they would be sitting. If the elf was put somewhere nearby her, she'd feel an obvious stare. "W-where are you from?" Hopefully that wasn't too strange of a question!

Astrid Dokkalfar

Astrid was respectable enough to Cynthia with a smile on her face. It was feeling difficult for her, keeping so happy looking but it was a facade she needed to keep up. "Where do I come from? Some might say Alfheim. Others Svartalfheim. You can just say Scandinavia. Norway, I believe it is." She stated. Hopefully the girl wouldn't ask many more questions. Really, she just wanted to speak to the Head Mistress now. Such vital things to discuss and she was missing.

Kozue Komichi

"Of course. I need to strengthen both my body and spirit if I want to revive the fox." Kozue said with a nod. "I'll return later for our session, though Aetheria wishes to examine my progress later so I'll comply with that for now." She seemed slightly irritated by that. She was hardly helping more than providing a place to stay for a bit as Kozue looked over Ayumi (who found herself a new job it seemed) and found a way to heal the fox. "Anyways, unless you had else to say, perhaps it's time for Chione and myself to continue."

Katherine Lindall

This cat was only smart when she needed to give a long speech wasn't she. "I'm not mad just..." What was the word she was looking for? "I'll just consider it as me having a loyal pet. Though, I feel this is hardly the time for this conversation. I know you hardly know this woman, Meowka, but she loves teasing people. You're literally giving her exactly what she wants." With that, she turned to leave. "I have a class to prepare for. Livia, sure as I am that you know, you have two guests and one of them I'm quite interested in as I am sure you are. You should head back to your place."

Lunalel Lightsword

Luna spent the time since Sorcha left making breakfast for all the girls. Solana was already up and drinking a cup of water. "Alright. This should be all ready for them!" It wouldn't be enough to feed all of them fully, but it would hopefully be a nice meal and it would show Meowka that she could cook well enough. Hell, by taste, Meowka should have no complaints. "I think they'll be happy. Meowka better be grateful." She knew the other two would be, so she wasn't worried about them.

Sol meanwhile, spent time watcing her spider friend. She was wondering if the spider would be doing anything intelligent today. It was interesting to her.

Livia

Livia just started laughing.

"Oh my goodness," Livia held a hand to her stomach as Meowka made her reply, unable to stop herself from containing her laughter. "You certainly have a lively one." The headmistress straightened herself, holding a hand to her mouth and stifling her laughter. This one was certainly cute, wasn't she? Livia almost wanted to snatch her from Katherine for herself. "I can assure you though," Livia's voice quickly regained its usual persuasiveness and formal tone as she continued.

"I was not making a point...you really are an adorable little thing," Livia continued, sighing slightly. "I would be more than happy to prove that to you as well, but it seems I am needed elsewhere." Two guests at her estate...Otille and a...well, now that was interesting. "Tsk, so busy these days and so little time for fun oh well, such are the burdens of responsibility. Do have fun with my 'oh-so-powerful student'..." Livia smirked as she walked by Meowka, voice taking a slightly darker tone as she passed by. "But do understand...a persons greatest advantage is being underestimated, little cat."

As the headmistress left, a teacup that was sitting on her desk rose from its seat, and the kitten would only have a few moments to react before she found it dumping its contents on her head. Of course, Livia was seemingly gone before Meowka could say or do anything.

Chione

"Hmm..." Celine observed the pair for a moment. "Be careful, Kozue." Celine replied rather cryptically. "Things may be getting...difficult soon." With that, the undine's body dispersed into water before returning to the lake and leaving Chione and Kozue alone at the lake side. The priestess blinked, getting the distinct feeling the undine didn't like her too much. She frowned, turning to Kozue with a nervous chuckle.

"...so is she like that with everyone?" She questioned. "And...fox, you say?"

Avaline & Sorcha

Sorcha merely gave Maoin a mildly interested look.

"Does she?" She questioned. "It seems you have an admirer of sorts." The dragon mused, though didn't offer too much else about it. "But we should hurry and return to Luna. I have no desire to continue fly around without a destination." any further comments or questions would have to wait. Sorcha began walking swiftly back to Luna's dorm.

The spider for the most part seemed to be content with doing spider things. It had a particularly large fly trapped in its web, but didn't seem to want to eat it entirely just yet. Instead it was hanging from a thread, by its web, inching closer to the counter below where it had made its web. It didn't seem to want to get to close in case a certain cat tried to get rid of it again. Not that'd it'd matter to much. She'd skitter back inside when she wasn't looking.

Meanwhile Avaline and Sorcha could be heard before they could be seen.

"Hey hey, Sorcha was it?"

"Yes." The dragon grumbled. "What do you want, Wyrm?"

"So so, you're an actual dragon and stuff right?" Sorcha didn't like where this was going. "Teach me to be dragony like you!" Sorcha stopped in her tracks, turning her head to the wyrm with a rather disbelieving expression. Avaline simply gave the other dragon a hopeful, bright grin.

"...Luuuna," Sorcha sighed, pushing open the door to the room. "We're back and I refrained from killing this one."

"Ah! Master Luna!" Avaline slithered in, past Sorcha and giving Luna a bright smile. "Ah! Hello tiny human sol." Avaline greeted with a wave.

"Mhm...yes, good morning Sol."

"Master Luna! Sorcha isn't so scary!" She confidently replied. "Her stomach makes the cutest noises!"

"H-huh!?" Sorcha's face reddened a bit at that, before immediately glaring at the Wyrm. "Say that again you stupid lizard."

"Ahahaha..." Avaline held her claws together and averted her gaze.

Cynthia

Cynthia didn't pay too much mind to Otille's and Astrid's idle chatter, showing them to the living room in the main part of the Villa and showing them to the couch. Of course, as polite as always she made the two some tea and set it on the table for them along with some appetizers should they want some. Her job was now done though, and she'd let the other maids deal with them.

Maoin frowned as her attempt to diffuse the awkward tension - and seek a little ancient wisdom - failed. The rest of the trip was spent making sure her stubborn mistress and the idiotic land dragon didn't get into a fight and avoided any sort of real bloodshed. Thankfully, the only suffering that occurred was herself and her owner having to listen to Avaline's idiotic musings. How could Avaline ever hope to be as grand as Lady Sorcha? That simply wasn't possible.

As the door opened though, Maoin found herself sniffing the air. Something tasty was cooking - and the kitten was curious about what was going on with the food. "Hey Lady Lightsword, wha-" The cat eyes narrowed as they found something on the counter - a spider web. Advancing into the room, Maoin quickly dusted it into oblivion. None of HER counters would have a web on them. Her eyes searched around for the culprit, but could find none.

"... ehem. Sorry about that. Anyways, what is going on Lady Luna? Making something for your familiars? Want me to help?" The cat seemed to be curious, but had honestly not considered the fact that the Lightsword was also making food for her, a servant. Maoin began searching the counters to try and figure out what the knightess had been concocting so she could help finish her owner's meal, tail swishing back and forth behind her.

Afterwards, she hoped to take a nap - though there was still plenty of time to go house shopping.

Meowka looked down in shame as her mistress basically listed and described how she fell utterly for the headmistresses trap and the blasted woman began to laugh at her. The cat didn't seem angry this time though as Livia made fun of her - this time she simply let the blood flow to her skin from slight embarrassment and averted her eyes from the failed seductress.

Though as the prowler of the night contemplated her final statement - which seemed out of place - she blinked a couple times and let her leave the room, obviously in thought. Deep enough in thought that she didn't notice the teacup rising up behind her, pouring the still warm tea straight into her hair.

For a few moments, the Headmistress had managed to get on her good side. Now though? "Underestimate, huh?" Now though? Now, she was pissed. Meowka grabbed the still floating tea cup and threw it like a stone against the desk candles, letting the fine china shatter on impact and the candles sprawl across the desk. Meowka puffed out her cheeks - but she wasn't satisfied yet with this bitch. Taking a couple books off the shelves, she threw them against the ground. The teapot? Meowka lifted it into the air, ready to smash it to pieces against the ground.

Until she found her legs brought out from beneath her, cat sprawling to the ground and teapot safely landing in a dolls arms as the cat found herself once again in the position she was in when she first met her mistress, although in a much cuter dress and without pangs of hunger running through her stomach. "H-hey! What's this about? Let me go, dolls!?" Meowka struggled against the dolls who held her down.

Otille Kohler

"I'm from Germany - you don't live too far away!" Scandinavia was just a little north then. "I wish I could visit someday - I hear the old gods are still active up there - is that true?" It was obvious Otille was a little excited to hear something about a myth.

Astrid Dokkalfar

"It's arguable." Astrid said. It was a subject she had little caring for. "I've not seen much of their interactions, considering we live underground. You've seen my skin, yes? I'm a Dark Elf, not a Light Elf." She tried keeping her happy face, though she started to look a bit more grim. Just slightly. "Our people were feared in ages past, you know? Powerful spellcasters? Not to say you should fear me. Mostly harmless, we are. Back to your question though, I'm of the opinion that Ragnarok has yet to happen, but I've no evidence either way as I've yet to meet a god."

Kozue Komichi

"Yes. She is." Kozue considered the spirit's words. She didn't know for sure what Celine meant. For now, she'd let it sit in the back of her head. "And yes, Fox. Just someone I'm trying to take care of." She answered, turning. "Well, let's get back into shape. Let's get jogging again." She started jogging, expecting Chione to follow behind her. She started running to the academy now, wanting to take a peak around there.

Katherine Lindall

"They're just stopping you from going around breaking things needlessly of one of the few women I could say without a doubt are more powerful than me. I've told you before there are people that have more power than me, haven't I?" Katherine said. She hadn't left the room yet of course. "We're not savages, Meowka. She'd probably not even get slightly irritated by this. The woman has nerves of steel. The best way to get back at her is to not react. Trust me." The teacher walked over and helped pull the cat up. "Well, help me prepare materials for class, would you?"

Lunalel and Solana Lightsword

"Just sit at the table, Maoin. Food's just about ready. A couple of things left we'll have a small breakfast." Though it was small because she knew how much Avaline and Sorcha would eat. "I planned to have this cooked for you all by time you all got back, but I got a little distracted by someone." Luna added, taking a glance at Sorcha.

Sol looked a bit upset when Maoin messed with Arachne's webs. The spider was fine at least. After smiling at that fact, Sol took a seat at the table. Luna had made a lot of food. Mostly what they had left in the pantry. Carrots that were boiled in water so they are soft, bread freshly cut, the ham of course which was cooked well... Some seasoned well, some not so. She just hoped everyone could try getting together a bit over food. "You cooked the ham better this time, Luna." Sol said, able to tell with just a look.

"As long as it's simple stuff I can cook. Just don't ask me to make one of those complicated things that seem a bit outlandish." Luna giggled to herself. She looked to the ones that took a trip around the school. She made a motion to the wide array of foods she had prepared for them as she finished up the last bits of ham. "Dig in! I made it for you all for a job well done in not killing each other. I figured Maoin could use a small break from cooking after waking up that early."

Livia

"And I would recommend you don't," Livia said as she walked into the room from the front door of her Villa. "Gods are rather boring. After all, being as powerful as they are they're often disconnected from humanity." Livia closed the door behind her, having hurried to her Villa after she received words about her interesting guests. Not that she wasn't curious as to why Otille was there, though she had an idea, she was far more interested in this Elf.

"Good morning, Otille. How did the appraisal go?" She asked, unable to keep her mouth from forming into a smirk. "That old dragon is quite good with valuing treasure." She walked over to the couches, taking a seat across from the both of them and reclining in the luxurious sofa. She should be doing more of her work she supposed, but this was far more interesting. "And what a surprise...what is one of the elves doing here?"

Chione

"A-ah! Waaait I'm not rested yeeeet!" Chione whined as Kozue ran off. Chione's shoulders slumped, exhaling tiredly as she watched Kozue get a good head start ahead of her. Well, she wouldn't be outdone. Not so easily. Nope. Chione inhaled, taking a breath as she steeled herself for the trials ahead. "Very well, I shall endure this. This is child play, yes!" The priestess started jogging after Kozue.

Avaline & Sorcha

The spider glared at Maoin, its eight eyes would probably be shooting venom at the kitten if it was capable of doing so. Fine then. It quickly began spinning another thread as Maoin turned to cook.

Sorcha took a seat, unable to focus on Avaline with such delicious looking food in front of her. Luna had really out done herself here, hadn't she? The dragons mouth watered at the sight of it, quickly beginning to eat. Avaline did much the same, finding a spot next to Luna as she coiled her lower body, sitting on it as she began to literally stuff her face.

"Indeed, you did quite well, Luna." Sorcha said.

"Mhmh! Dish ish reallsh good!" Avaline said through a mouthful of food, quickly remembering her manners and swallowing before continuing. "Ehe, Master Luna! Thank you."

"..." Sorcha gave Avaline an unimpressed look before deciding to ignore her behavior. "Mhm, Perhaps you could help Maoin every now and then." Sorcha commented, continuing to eat.

The spider had quickly spun another web near the counters, though nothing as large as it was before. Just a little something to pretty up later. More importantly...it had lost its lunch! Now it was going to starve! For now, it skittered across the floor, easily avoiding any feet or any attempts from that silly cat to swat it as it made its way to Sol's feet, looking up at the human.

Aetheria took a couple of steps outside the nurses office, stretching her muscles a bit as she prepared brunch on the inside. It seemed like it would be a good, relaxing, ca-

Were those screams? The white mage blinked twice as she watched people dodge out of the way of what seemed to be a rampaging cow-girl. For a moment she seemed to try and internally confirm what she saw, but it seemed that the poor familiar was very upset and was expressing that with a great deal of disruption and general noise. "S-stop!" The woman yelled after the cow.

If that didn't work, the white mage would wave their staff and the brown haired girl would feel a sudden calm try and wash over them as a rather angry white mage approached. If that didn't work to get her to sufficiently make the girl stop moving, the cow would feel a couple celestial chains being added to the equation. As one of the teachers her job was to enforce discipline, which included sometimes 'taking care' of rowdy familiars until their owners decided to collect them. "What's going on here? What's with the noise?" The cow had a bell collar around her neck - so unless their owner straight up abandoned them she doubted that was an issue. "You're disturbing an awful lot of people, you better have a good explanation for this."

It was rather obvious the teacher was irritated.

Just sit at the table? Maoin blinked a couple times, confused. "Y-yes Lady Luna?" It seemed like the cat was a bit concerned as she lowered herself into the chair obediently as if she was unsure if this was some type of strange test. The kitten sniffed the contents on the table, coming to the same conclusion as Lady Lightsword and Lady Sol - for simple meals, it seemed the knightess was capable of cooking them herself. She had faltered with the more complex spices a bit, but the mistakes certainly didn't make the meals inedible or even taste bad. And her next words made the cat feel a little bit guilty ... had the paladin really done this for her? Because of their little argument?

Despite the fiasco in the morning, Maoin knew her mistress' mage to be a good person and the perfect example of what nobility was meant to be. And because of her speaking up, the noble felt guilted into making something. "T-thanks Lady Luna." She really was grateful, but her ears fell just a bit and her tail landed lifelessly in her lap as her own mistress suggested this could be a more regular thing.

"N-no it's fine mistress! I'd hate to bother a noble of the Lightsword house like that!" Maoin seemed earnest, though realized that could be taken as an insult. "The foods great Lady Luna! Really! B-but I'm the servant here!" The cat took a few more bites, but it was clear that she was feeling more than a little guilty as she went silent and ate her smaller portion of the meal slowly.

For now, the spider at Sol's feet went unnoticed.

Meowka struggled a bit more as the dolls held her down, but by the end of the puppeteer's first sentence she had given up and stopped. Of course the puppeteer had told her that - and the cat didn't want to believe it was true. Was her owner just being modest? Deep down, the cat knew what she said was true. That didn't mean she had to appreciate or care - to her, Katherine was the strongest. It didn't matter if someone else had more magical ability.

Not savages ...? The cat remembered back to the days with Ronat, where they would steal food from stalls, commit petty crimes, and overall be a minor menace to society. Compared to being with Ronat, living with the teacher made her feel like nobility. Was she supposed to be ashamed of her past? "... Not savages ... o-ok."

She was right about the headmistress of course as well, though Meowka couldn't help but comment. "I know. I still don't like her though."

For the most part Meowka was quiet and contemplative as the mage approached and the prowler of the night letting the mage help lift her up off her feet. "Yeah, I'll help." A little guilt ran into the cat's veins - once again she seemed to be causing problems for the woman who took care of her. "I-I'm sorry for causing problems, Mistress Katherine. Again. Thanks for taking care of me."

It didn't take the familiar bond to tell Meowka was still upset about this entire encounter - Meowka's eyes watered slightly before she turned her head away in an effort to hide her face, obviously ashamed but trying not to show it. Kat really was the merciful one between them.

Otille Kohler

Otille was honestly a little surprised as the smaller girl responded so seriously - how old was she? It was a little deflating to hear that sort of response, but the headmistress quickly walked in and helped dispel interest in the gods. Still though, Otille did find the girl interesting, at least, as she finally managed to pull her eyes away from the elf and focus on responding to the headmistress.

"Y-yes headmistress." It was rather apparent that Otille had figured out that Miss Livia knew what was going on. "I-I don't mean to trouble you, but it seems like I need another source of income ... and possibly school loans." The peasant frowned. "Cocoa's great and all, but now I'll need to take care of her as well." What skills did she have? "I know how to take care of livestock, and have helped around my local inn and my lord's manor before. I don't really have any other skills, but I'm used to dirty work."

It was rather obvious that farmer was a little concerned now - getting an education was already going to be difficult, and now she was going to have to juggle learning and work as well. She wouldn't dare ask Cocoa to help - she couldn't imagine making her familiar work - speaking of which, she felt panic from their bond. Was something going on? She'd head back to the inn immediately after this conversation. "Do you have any recommendations or programs?"

Astrid Dokkalfar

"Oh, you could tell I was an Elf? Did the ears give it away, miss?" Astrid said, jokingly. Of course she expect someone of this woman's magnitude to know. It was hard for most in the magical community to not know the name of Livia Fiore. When asked what an elf was doing there though... "Is it any more odd for me to be here than you?" Astrid mentioned, almost insinuating something. "Rather, I can wait. It seems the girl here has some rather important business, though I hope the honored Headmistress doesn't give her any sort of 'dirty' work."

Kozue Komichi

"Oh? So this is child's play?" Kozue questioned with a smirk. It was never good to bite off more than one could chew. She was sure the priestess was putting up a front, so she decided to make it a bit more of a challenge. "Very well." From there she disappeared from Chione's sight, only to reappear on the branch of a nearby tree. "If it is, follow me." The Shrine Maiden said with a slight smile.

Katherine Lindall

"Loyalty is it's own reward, Meowka. For both the owner and the subservient" Katherine said, casually walking towards the class she wanted to set up for. "Tell you what. You want to help out more? Stop causing me problems and all that? I can think of a good place to start for you. It'll work out for you and my new apprentice I think. I want you to learn the alphabet and how to read. My new apprentice is going to teach you. You're physical skills are fine but... Take no offense, but your mental prowess is a bit lack, but it's nothing we can't fix dear. We'll make you ready to take her on, though it'll take some work on your part."

The teacher didn't really say much more than that, though she pet Meowka on the head a bit.

Lunalel and Solana Lightsword

"Maoin, I understand your point of view, but understand mine as well. I'm more soldier than I am noble. Just a soldier that has to act with a bit more honor than the normal one. That's just how we Lightswords are." Luna told Maoin. There were a sort of wargames back home that was in the vein of that. "I know you think I'm such a noble, but I'm not really. It's more a bother to me that you think you're bothering me, right?" Luna asked.

Sol meanwhile picked up her spider friend and held it in her hand. "Hey there girl. Did the mean Miss Kitty destroy you work again?" She asked, using her free hand to very gently pet the spider. She was a good spider with a good name. She tried to stay out of the way... Mostly. She just needed to find a way to keep the kitty from doing anything bad to Arachne... "Oh! I know. Dragon Lady! Luna! Can I do that thing that Luna did with Avaline with my spider friend?!"

The question caught Luna off guard. That... Wasn't a thought that crossed her mind. Hell, she didn't know the specifics of that either. "Uhhh, I mean... Maybe? I guess so." She just blankly blinked a few times before looking at Sorcha questioningly as if saying "How do I even respond to this?" Sol had a connection to magic, not that Luna had seen it in person, so it was quite possible for her to do so.

Livia

"Dirty work? Perish the thought." Livia smiled. "I give everyone who wishes to learn a fair chance." Since the Elf said she could deal with Otille first, then she would. Easily done, since she knew dealing with Sorcha would be fairly quick and easy. She gave Otille a friendly smile as she continued.

"I do so apologize for not telling you about the dragon and the fact it was likely her treasure," Livia chuckled. "But Sorcha is harmless, believe me. I've known her for at least...a decade now? She's grumpy most of the time but well meaning. She'd never hurt a fly. She might throw a few lightning bolts in its direction but never kill them." She smiled, taking a quiet sip of her tea. The comment probably didn't help put Otille at ease. "Speak with her again - Dragons at least respect those who do not cower before them. And if she doesn't see reason do inform me. I'll handle her myself...or just speak with Miss Lightsword. The dragon...well, lets just say the knight has tamed the beast." She chuckled.

Chione

"Whaaaa?!" Chione watched Kozue disappear, only to reappear nearby on a tree branch not far from them. "H-how..." She wheezed, stopping for a moment to catch her breath. Urgh, she wasn't used to being out done. In fact, in her past life she prided herself on being the best runner and acrobat around, but now she was reduced to a sweaty, hot, panting mess...

...

Heh.

"OOf..." Oh sweet desert sands she couldn't do that, but she couldn't let this priestess win either. Ow, her pride and dignity. "Fine," Chione inhaled. If she had her staff this could be more easily done, but she'd at least make an attempt. "I shall meet your challenge!" Before Kozue could react, she'd find Chione backing up a bit for a running start before sprinting towards the tree, placing a foot upon its tree trunk and vaulting herself up it before kicking off of it and making a leap for the branch. For a brief second, it looked like she was going to make it.

But alas, such was not meant to be.

Chione gave a sharp yelp of surprise as she just barely undershot the distance of the jump, smacking into the branch with her midsection before promptly falling onto the ground on her back with a surprisingly heavy sounding thud.

"...Kooooozue," She whined as she attempted to catch her breath. "Bring...me...some water...urgh."

Avaline & Sorcha

The spider leaned into the pettings. No one could see it, but it had closed its eyes and was making a best attempt at a tiny little chirping noise.

At the question though, Sorcha blinked before frowning as Avaline continued to stuff her face with enough food.

"I see no reason why Sol can't." Sorcha said with a sigh. "But Luna, the rooms already crowded enough. The bed can barely hold the three of us and...Avaline," She called the wyrm by her name, but it was clear she was having to force herself to do so. "Does not even have a bed." She looked over to Sol and the spider. A spider as well? That was troubling. A spider as a familiar. Certainly spiders were helpful in their own way. Took care of bugs and other insect pests without making too much of a nuisance themselves. "Perhaps we should wait until We've gotten ourselves a new place of stay." She looked over to Maoin. "I have already asked Maoin to speak with Livia about it."

Cocoa

"A-ah! H-have you seen a lost little girl? A tiny thing that can barely take care of herself?" Cocoa stuttered worriedly out. "She's my lover and can't do anything without me and she wasn't with me when we woke up this morning-ah wait! Don't run!" Cocoa called after the man with a whine. Ah, why were they all running from her? She just wanted to help! So she may have accidentally ran into someone, or knocked over a vendors stall...and almost...killed someone by kicking her hoof in his face.

Accidents!

Aetheria's words initially fell on deaf ears. Thankfully her magic seemed to have a mild effect on the worried, mildly hysterical cow. She was now fidgeting in place, worriedly looking all over the streets for any sign of Otille.

"Uhm uhm!" Cocoa stuttered out as Aetheria questioned her. "My lover-Otille she wasn't there when I woke up this morning and she didn't say anything to me." Cocoa made a worried frown. "Oooh what if something bad's happened to her? What if that mean dragon snatched her up in the middle of the night? Wha-what if she...found another cow!" That seemed to be the worst suggestion the cow came to the conclusion of.

Lyssa

"So, what are we doing today, Lyssa?" Ayumi was somehow standing upside down outside of one of the headmistress's Villa's rooms.

"The same thing we do every day, Ayumi." Lyssa was standing on the roof above her.

"Take over the world?"

"Whaaa, you silly. No. Eat candy and throw snowballs at people! And also save Fia from this impregnable fortress of devilish affairs!" Lyssa giggled. She jumped, doing a one eight off the roof and grabbing the edge of it with her hands, swinging into the window and shattering it upon impact.

"Hiiiiya!~" Lyssa landed in the room, rolling across the ground and coming to a kneeling halt inside of the room. Ayumi wasn't far behind, appearing in a poof of smoke. "Operation, begin!"

Otille Kohler

The farmer nodded, listening intensely to the headmistress' advice ... was it possible she would get her money back, then? She was already planning to meet up with Lady Luna - the sheer reminder of the knightess causing her cheeks to blush - and with the headmistress at her back she figured she'd get most of the non-emotionally attached treasures back. That was good, at least.

"She's incredible, isn't she!?" The farmers face made her emotional infatuation with the knightess utterly clear. If the powerful mage had been intending an innuendo then the farmer simply did not catch it. "Th-thanks a lot, Headmistress Fiore!" Otille bowed slightly - if the headmistress didn't seem keen on stopping her, the farmer would make way for the next appointment as she left the building and headed back towards the inn, unaware of Cocoa's rampage but wondering why strange and panicked emotions were at the back of her mind.

Aetheria was initially confused by the cow's explanation - lover? The white mage raised an eyebrow, until three things became abundantly clear.

1. This familiar wasn't used to her human capacities, and was likely new to it.
2. Her 'Lover' was really her owner - otherwise the other cow statement would be a bit strange.
3. This cow was utterly unaware of social rules, her status, and how to behave at all.

Aetheria let out a sigh and approached the cow - her being shorter didn't seem to cause any difference in her ability to intimidate. "Look, I don't think this lover of yours would be happy with you rampaging across the streets." Aetheria simply pointed towards some of the damage Cocoa had caused. The white mage reached out a hand to the cow's forehead, focusing on the bond. The hand on the forehead lowered down to the cow's collar afterwards, wrapping around it dominatingly. "Come on. You're coming with me." Aetheria began to walk towards the clinic, not trusting the cow to avoid charging off on her own without being led. "Your mistress Otille, is fine by the way. But she'll have to come pick up her rampaging familiar when she's ready, and I'm going to have some words with her." Cocoa wouldn't know this, but a mental messaging spell had been sent.

Even for a new familiar, she couldn't allow rampant destruction to be ignored. At this point in the process, it was largely the owner's fault.

Maoin's guilt welled up a bit more as Lady Lightsword commented on the flaws in her philosophy. The cat blinked a couple times. Was she also being rude by rejecting Lady Luna's kindness? After another bite of the food before her, the meek cat responded to the knightess. "I-I'll work up a schedule then, Lady Luna. Apologies for not understanding. And thanks." That would be fine, right? Just one or two meals a week being made by her mistress' mage? Lady Sorcha seemed to enjoy the food at least.

The cat stared - with some hostility - at the spider, but she had promised Sol she wouldn't bring it injury. As she continued to glare though, the kitten's owner brought up their housing problem once again. Most of the day was still available to the kitten, and it seemed that this was going to take priority over cleaning absolutely everything from the trip and doing the other servantly duties she was falling behind on.

She guessed taking a break from cooking breakfast wasn't a terrible thing. Maoin shoveled the rest of her meal down in as dignified of a manner as she could have, wiped her mouth off, then looked towards the rest of the household. Including the spider she was a little jealous of at the moment in spite of herself. "Yes, I'm sorry mistress. I-I'll go take care of that now." She remembered the dragon's previous displeasure, and made sure to curtsy low apologetically before rushing out the door.

The girl began making her way through the streets to the headmistresses manner, but her journey was interupted as her head bumped into a soft moving object leaving a tavern as she rushed through the streets. Stepping back from what was a dress apologetically, the cat began to wave her hands in hopes of dismissing her mistake as she lowered her head. "I-I'm sorry your ladyship, please forgive me." The dress was fine enough that it was likely the woman was at least wealthy, if not straight up nobility. Maoin only lifted her head slightly, hoping a slightly submissive display would avoid a noble's wrath. "My mistake, I- Lady Gwynn?" It had taken a moment, but the facial features from the top of her vision eventually revealed what she hadn't noticed previously. "W-what are you doing here?! Why are you in dress? Are you alright?"

It was hard to tell if Maoin meant alright as in 'from the impact' or 'who forced you to wear this, and how', but either way some of the formality and submissiveness left her body as she responded to a familiar face - while perhaps the previous time had ended sadly, Maoin's ears were perked up and her tail went back and forth. It didn't take a bond to tell she was curious.

Fia yelped as a window in a nearby room shattered, jumping beneath a desk. She had been grading papers, but things had become a lot more intense.

The phoenix paused for a moment, running over the words she heard again. She had bird like hearing, and it didn't take a genius to know that was Lyssa's voice. "L-Lyssa?" Fia turned the corner, looking into a cloud of smoke. "A-are you ... alright?" She'd read a critism of storybook injuries involving glass not being nearly as brutal as they were in reality, and the phoenix was honestly a little concerned that her ... Lyssa had gotten injured.

Meowka listened, calming slightly as Katherine lightly caressed her head. Learned to read? For a moment she paused - that'd be useful, even if it only meant being able to communicate with the dolls. The cat wiped her face a little with her arm, clearing up any water that her eyes had produced. "Y-Yeah. Sounds good." Meowka nodded as she spoke quietly.

The dollmaster would feel a poke in her side as the cat moved in close again, hoping to at least hear a surprised yelp from her mistress. "Don't use this as an excuse to keep me away from you though. I enjoy you too much." Meowka would grab one of Kat's hands - if she would allow it - and walk alongside her with a smile. "You should be honored I care so much, after all. I AM the prettiest kitten around, after all."

Astrid Dokkalfar

"Enjoy your day, girl." Astrid said as Otille left. She turned to the Headmistress now that it was just the two of them. "Greetings, Livia Fiore, Headmistress of the Academy of Sappho. My name is Astrid Dokkalfar. I am an accomplished mage of the Dark Elves in the north. I've come here to give you the honor of being my teacher. I've heard word of you being one of... If not the most accomplished... Human mage. Would you not be interested in teaching the most accomplished pupil of the Dark Elves?" The girl seemed quite confident.

Kozue Komichi

Kozue's eyes widened a bit as Chione flopped into the branch and then fell to the ground. She blinked a few times but then jumped down next to the priestess and picked her up, princess style. "The lake isn't far. We can just head back there. Don't over exert yourself. It's an easy way to make your body disagree with you. Just take it easy and build up your muscle.

Katherine Lindall

The two had a fairly quick walk to the classroom and Selvina was there, just as asked. "Ahh, Selvina. Good, you've already arrived. I have my first task for you, did you know? A fun one with a cute little objective." The Puppeteer said as she patted Meowka's head. Students can be very disruptive and I want to see what social skills you possess. You are to teach my familiar the alphabet and how to read. The more languages the better." The teacher said, before moving behind her desk to make sure her plans for the day was correct.

Lunalel and Solana Lightsword

"Yay! Do you want to do that Arachne? That'll be fun right? We can talk and do other things." She really wanted to nuzzle her cheek to the spider, but that seemed a bad idea with the spider's size. Instead, she put the spider on her head as a show of trust. "I'm ready for the move." She exclaimed excitedly.

Luna had a small look of concern in her face, but that quickly disappeared as she looked back to Sorcha and giggled a bit. Sol seemed pretty excited about that. "Well, I'd love to sit here longer, but it's soon time for class. I need to prepare and go." Luna said as she stretched before going to get ready really quickly.

Livia

"Oh my," Livia smiled faintly. "That would be quite the honor. I've yet to had the pleasure of teaching one such as yourself." This was quite the interesting proposition. She had made attempts in the past to foster relationships with the elves or fey for example, but had always been met with stalwart opposition from both sides. She could understand it, of course. She herself had espoused the need for humans to stand on their own without interference of any sort of supernatural entities, be they gods or demons.

"...if that is indeed true." Livia gave Astrid a serious gaze, studying the elf. "If you are indeed as good as you claim, then I certainly see no reason to deny you apprenticeship." She made a gesture, waving her hands to the empty area in the foyer. "Show me what you can do then."

Chione

"UUurgh," Chione didn't mind being carried too much it seemed. If anything, she seemed to relax far too easily, letting her arms hang limply over Kozue's arms. "I apologize. I'm not used to being this...out of shape. I used to be able to run across all of the Pyramids and palace without so much as a hint of effort..." She sighed, shaking her head as Kozue carried her. "No matter...It will be easy enough to get back into shape again...with your help, if you don't mind."

Avaline & Sorcha

The spider confidently stood as tall on its legs as it could. Ha! Take that cat! She wouldn't be subject to your silliness any longer! It was too small to be seen, but it was giving Maoin a mildly smug smirk as best it could with its spider parts. Sorcha simply returned to her food, waving Maoin off and not commenting further on the matter until Luna decided to leave.

"Mhm...well, have a nice day Luna."

"A-ah! Master Luna!" Avaline suddenly stopped piling her face with food, slithering across the ground until she was practically in Luna's face. "Take me with you!~" She had her hands clasped together in front of her, giving the knight a hopeful look. She was a smart, clever, intelligent lizard so she had to appear so as well! Going to classes and doing scholarly things would make her seem even more so, yes! Perfect!

"G-gwuh?!" Sorcha nearly choked on a slice of meat at Avaline's suggestion.

"Pleeeeease?" Her eyes were practically sparkling with enthusiasm.

"Humph," As soon as Sorcha finished not choking, she stood up from her chair and gave Avaline an unimpressed look before casting her gaze towards Luna. "If that one goes, then I am going as well."

Cocoa

"Otille...?" Cocoa furrowed her eyebrows, scrunching her nose in thought as the mage started pulling her. "Y-you know Otille?" To cocoa that meant a few things. Either this woman knew Otille which was unlikely since she had never seen her before...or she had done something dastardly to Otille, and she was about to be turned into well done steak!

"N-no!" Cocoa stomped her hoof on the ground, digging her hooves into the ground and not following this strange woman into the building. "Y-you did something with Otille didn't you! Let me go or I'll beat you up! I'm warning you! I pulled a cart weighing nearly a ton here!" She was doing her best to be intimidating, but only managed to succeed in appearing adorably angry.

Lyssa

Out of the smoke, the first thing to appear was a certain black fox.

"I can't believe you roped me into this." She took a few steps towards Fia, sitting on the ground in front of her. "Hmph, is this the one we're 'rescuing' from a demon maid and her lesbian lover?"

"Yes!" Lyssa took a defensive pose. She looked fine as always. "Anything yet Ayumi?" She moved around Fia, standing between the redhead and the door.

"Hmm...yep, you might want to move."

"H-huh?" The door to the room was slammed open again, revealing a very cold stare from a very angry maid as she looked around the room. "Ah...its the demon maid! I'll take Fia and run!!"

"On it!" Without giving Fia much of a choice, Lyssa scooped FIa up in her arms as Ayumi moved in front of Cynthia, giving the pink haired demon just enough time to scoot past...forgetting about the window entirely. "Heya! Normally this would be the point where we fight but I'll be honest. Losing is more my-geh!" Ayumi found Cynthia's hand around her forehead. "I suppose it's too late to ask for a rope and some handcuffs-wah!~" Cynthia's foot met Ayumi's stomach and fueled with righteous maid fury she sent the ninja flying across the ground into the wall behind her.

Gwynn

"H-huh? Maoin?..." Oh great, the one person she was trying to avoid. Why was the cat at a tavern of all places?

Maoin was right - she was dressed far differently than what she normally wore. It wasn't a dress per say, but it was definitely not her usual preferred clothing of adventurer attire. White garments, with fur trimmings and some metal gauntlets and greaves for good measure. Well kept and clean too, and she didn't seem to carry that edge of roughness around her previously.

"...h-hey." She stuttered out, inhaling deeply. It was alright, she could do this. "W-well, some things happened while I was out." She replied, though she really didn't seem keen on speaking about it to the cat. She didn't want to involve Maoin in her messes, as usual. "...Y-you'll be happy to know I'm giving up pirating...I'll still be sailing, but well, for different reasons." She fidgeted uncomfortably for a few seconds before shaking her head.

"A-anyways, I have a meeting with the headmistress. I need to go."

Selvina blinked a couple of times at her new teacher's suggestion - it wasn't what she was expecting, but here wasn't exactly anything unreasonable about it at all, was there? The noble gave her little student a quick glance - based on her clothing, she was civilized. Based on the interactions with the headmistress however, it seemed that the cat was a bit on the savage side.

The noble narrowed her eyes, and Meowka looked back. "I'll do it. Meowka, right?" The cat nodded. "Why don't we go somewhere a bit more quiet for your lessons? I wouldn't want for the class to distract you, after all." The pair left the room, going a short distance out into the hallway and finding a table. "So, today - and possibly this week, I'll try to teach you the alphabet ..."

If Kat was spying on them with a doll, she'd notice the cat seemed to be trying to pay attention and despite her previous fits was putting some effort into it - her vision would move whenever something happened however, her attention shifting to another object for a few seconds despite her best efforts to concentrate. As for Sel, she was trying to be patient as she had to repeat things several times before Meowka seemed to understand them ... but it was a bit of a struggle for her as well as the girl's attention was so easily adverted.

Aetheria raised her eyebrow as the cow didn't budge when she pulled on the collar and protested. The white mage simply intensified her glare, utterly non-intimidated. "Look here, cow." The mage spoke completely unfazed. "I've never seen your mistress 'Otille' once, but I can detect where she is based on your bond. I sent her a message that you'd be with me at the clinic. You wouldn't want to confuse her, would you? Or are you a bad, disobedient, untrusting cow for your mistress who wants to make her owner panic?"

Aetheria continued to glare. "Now you are going to come with me - willing or unwilling - and its up to you how angry I am at you two. Understand? You don't want to get Otille in trouble with the school because of your behavior, do you?" If all the cow had done so far was damage some property and scare some people that'd be little more than a quick detention and a lecture for her owner. Aetheria started walking into the clinic with another tug on the girl's collar.

Maoin's little bump into her former mistress should have been happy for the kitten - really, the noble was doing everything she had been wanting her to do previously. Dressed decently and in at least a somewhat feminine fashion, abandoning her pirating dreams, and even going to talk with the headmistress of her own accord.

But the kitten knew better than that. The clothes - sure, it was possible her former owner was just growing up and abandoning the I-Hate-Living-Decently stage she seemed to have been the status quo throughout their entire relationship. But she could tell the former pirate was bothered, and not simply by her former pet's presence. "H-hey, I'm heading there as well. Wanna walk together?"

Maoin tried to put on a happy smile as she slid next to the woman's side - honestly it probably looked a little weird, considering Maoin usually looked either sad, irritated, worried, or busy. For a couple seconds the kitten looked at the woman who seemed to be few on words for their reunion. "Hey Captain, cat got your tongue?"

Maoin usually didn't try to be 'funny', but hopefully this would at least make the noble woman laugh a bit.

Fia simply stared at them a little nervously as the troupe of three insanity had broken into one of the rooms. "... you could have kn-" The pheonix's statement was cut off as suddenly the action began. Cynthia appeared in the doorway, and before Fia could settle the violence she was carried like some sort of bride in the girl's arms before they began to sprint off and away from the conflict.

It was rather obvious the girl was confused. "Lyssa! W-what's happening?" The girl wasn't resisting though as she was carried off, fairly certain that the headmistress wouldn't blame her for the circumstances. She hadn't expected Lyssa to take what she said so literally.

Astrid Dokkalfar

"With pleasure." Astrid said with a smile, standing up, She studied the area for a minute, as if considering what to do first. She was expecting something of the sort, but thought there'd be a bit more direction. Well, that was fine. This was an invitation to free reign right? Well, if Livia somehow decided not to take her as apprentice, she'd leave a nice monument. "I hope you don't mind a bit of a mess. I'll show you the beauty of magic but... Well, I guess you'll see."

First, she snapped her fingers and the entrance to the building opened and a number of rocks paraded in, congregating in the middle of the foyer. They formed a large pillar, leaving a smile on Astrid's face. The elf held her hand out to the pillar and balled her hand into a fist in a powerful fashion. The rocks all seemed to fuse together and gave off a bit of smoke. The pillar shrank a bit but seemed to be a single stronger form... In fact, instead of the brown and grey color they may have had before, the form seemed fairly different... Though mostly in color only. It was grey with the sheen of marble, though it was obviously not marble.

Looking happy with the shape of the rock pillar, she made a motion, sweeping up and back down with her hands. The light from the area surrounding the pillar disappeared. If Livia really felt like ruining the surprise she could use her many powers to look... But where's the fun in that? Astrid held her fingers straight on her hand, making a fake blade with her hand. From there, she made light movements with her hands and the sound of... wind? Or something of the sort. After a couple of minutes of this, Astrid looked happy with her work and quelled the darkness, revealing a nice stature of a certain beautiful elf.

"This is just a show of beauty. I can show more raw destructive powers later if you want. Still, you can still enjoy my beauty with this statue."

Kozue Komichi

Kozue just looked at Chione as she talked and nodded. Soon they reached the lake again and she set the woman down. "I don't have a real problem with it, though you might need to practice some on your own too." The Shrine Maiden added. She wondered if Chione was really as she said in the past. For now, she needed rest it seemed. Perhaps a question? "You keep talking of 'pyramids.' I've not a clue to what those are. Would you care to inform me?"

Katherine Lindall

Katherine took it easy. No reason to really bother getting riled up. If Selvina had Meowka 'under control' then there was less for her to worry about at the moment. She sat back and examined the room as her dolls moved about, preparing for class. It was about time for students to show up... Though, she noticed that might not be the only things to show up today...

Lunalel and Solana Lightsword

What? Luna was a little concerned as to why Avaline wanted to go to class with her. "Go to class with me? Both of you?! Uhh, umm, why? I don't think that's really..." Looking at Avaline, it was really hard to say no to her like this. "Umm, I guess we can go and if Miss Lindall says it's fine..."

Livia

Livia watched with rapt attention at the elves display of magical ability. She was quite skilled with earthwork, it seemed.

"Ooh..." Livia couldn't help but to smile faintly. "You are indeed quite skilled...though a little too full of yourself, heh." Livia stood, walking over to the statue and inspecting it silently for a few seconds. It was indeed quite beautiful just as Astrid said, but...Livia smiled and gave the Dark Elf a chuckle as she sauntered over. "...but I'd rather enjoy the actual thing." She placed a hand on Astrids shoulder and gave her a warm smile.

"Care to join me for dinner this evening? It's still a bit of a ways away...but Cynthia makes the absolute best things. I shall give you a tour of campus in the meantime."

Chione

"Oof, thanks." Chione gave Kozue a small smile as she stretched, removing her sandals and dipping her feet into the water. "Aha, it seems I might...I didn't think it'd be this bad." At least the water felt wonderful. Nice, pure and cool and refreshing. Back to Kozue's question though...

"Hmm...how to explain?" She mused quietly, leaning back and resting her weight on her arms. "I am unsure what exactly your people used for worship, or where you buried your leaders but effectively Pyramids are large tombs for the high ranking officials and leaders of my people. The holiest of places in our land." She frowned, eyes glancing towards the ground. "...or at least, they were. Time is a cruel mistress, and now there is hardly any of the old lands left. Most have been swallowed by the desert, only the largest of the ones still visible."

It felt a little odd to be speaking of them so reverently still after all this time. Being a former grave robber turned priestess was...well, to put bluntly, still a little humorous.

Avaline & Sorcha

"YAY!~" Avaline practically jumped, wrapping Luna in a bone crushing hug and rubbing her face against hers before letting the human go and excitedly jumping about the best way a legless lizard could. "OOh, this is going to be great! Yes! I shall be the center of attention for everyone in the classroom! Hah!" Sorcha merely held a hand to her head. She didn't want to put up with this lizard, but at the same time she didn't want to leave Luna alone with her. Sorcha sighed, grabbing Avaline by the ear and giving her a stern look.

"Try to behave yourself, will you? This isn't a playdate." Sorcha said. "This is place of learning and we'll treat it as such."

"Ehe, yes!" Sorcha merely frowned, trying not to let the eagerness of Avaline get to her.

"Well, I suppose we'll be off then. Luna...care for the express ticket?" She grinned.

Cocoa

Cocoa scrunched up her face, trying her best to think of a way out of this. This woman was bad. She was bad. Very very bad and she was gonna turn her into a prime steak cut! She wasn't food! She was cocoa!

Wait...

"I-I'm not a cow! I'm Cocoa! And Otilles best friend and lover!" By now the cow was getting rightly agitated, and was blatantly refused to call Otille 'mistress'. Perhaps she might do it if Otille told her too - in fact she wouldn't have a problem with it then, but she really didn't like this person. "A-and I don't believe you! Otille has never used magic before in her life!" Cocoa pulled back, using her superior strength to attempt pulling the woman back with her.

Lyssa

"Rescuing you of course!" Lyssa giggled, switching Fia to a princess carry. Lyssa quickly hurried down the hallway, and with her superior sense of direction lead them towards the front opposite end of the hallway. With Ayumi so quickly KO'ed, she was left with just a certain black fox. "Hey Kuro, how's it looking?"

"Hmm...demon maid-" There was a gust of wind as Cynthia quickly closed the distance between the three of them. With little ceremony she slammed her foot into the black fox. "-Has launched me over your head." She said whilst saluting to Lyssa as she careened through the air, before landing on the ground and comically rolling a few times before waving a white flag.

"Ah...we're down two people, but I shall not falter!"

...Fia could probably convince Lyssa to stop. Or maybe not. The 'Demon maid' was hot on her heels and looked particularly irate about something.

Gwynn

Gwynn ground her teeth together, but didn't say anything as Maoin took to walking beside her silently, at least until Maoin decided to break the silence herself.

"Stop it, Maoin." Gwyn said, stopping in her tracks and giving Maoin a rather irritable look. She wanted her to act like a noble so much? Fine then. "I have better things to do than speak with you about things that don't concern you." Gwynn rather harshly commented before starting to walk at a faster pace than last time. She didn't want to be here, and she didn't want to deal with this, but she'd just deal with it. There was no reason for her to deal with this when she did have far more important things to take care of.

"Oh yes she had, and she used it to make you - troublesome cow." For a second, Cocoa would find herself winning their little fight. Then she'd find her legs and arms bound tightly together by some sort of magical rope, unable to really struggle. "Unwilling I suppose." Aetheria let out a sigh, ignoring anything the cow said and surprisingly dragging the heavier woman with ease by some sort of magic. Cocoa would find herself led to a small cell - it wasn't uncomfortable, per se, and had all the basic amenities in it, but as the binds wore off one thing would be apparent - everything in here was designed to be completely unbreakable so that even the strongest, most frenzied familiar would find themselves unable to break out or even make noise through the soundproof walls.

It would take about thirty minutes before there was a knock at the door. When it opened, a somewhat scared looking Otille - who had just been screamed at for fifteen minutes - waved towards Cocoa. "H-hey, Cocoa." Otille braced for the hug, and walked towards it. Their entire time apart, Otille had been able to sense whatever emotions her familiar felt - fear, anger, frustration. "It's okay, there there." The peasant was obviously concerned as she rubbed the cow's ears. "I left a message for you with the Innkeeper, no need to tear through the town, alright? You were just sleeping and I didn't want to wake you. I'm sorry, I'll try to be more considerate next time. I should have known you'd come after me ..." More pettings. "I'm safe alright? Shhhh." Otille was content to hold Cocoa until she had calmed down completely.

Otille didn't bother to mention the fact the nurse had assigned her twenty hours of cleaning the hospital for the stampede. Something about educating her or the like. The white mage walked by the door, shrugged, and continued down the hallway. Her involvement with the cow was over, it seemed.

Maoin's mouth dropped in surprise before her eyes started to water, obviously hurt. She hadn't exactly expected Lady Gwynn to discuss her life story - but this? She's made a joke and had been told to off as a response. Sure, things hadn't gone the best before them last time, but wasn't it her former mistress who wanted to be friends? The cat stood there for a couple moments after the woman began to walk away, but she'd hear the soft footfalls of the cat as the girl walked next to her - face clean of tears or watering eyes, obviously having just been wiped off. The kitten tried to put on a smile this time.

Now what? She could try to press for information about what was happening and why her former owner looked like she was doing a death march, but it was possible that would just irritate her. She could walk away, but she did care about Gwynn, and no one else was here right now for her. She didn't have any companions a kitten could see, at least.

It would be rather apparent the kitten was feeling a little nervous as she started speaking.

"O-of course. I apologize, former mistress. A silly kitten - a slave - should only contemplate their servitude and allow her betters, such as your noble self, to take care of such things I cannot comprehend. How could simple property expect to understand your life or be trusted as a confident or advisor to a noble?" Maoin wasn't exactly lying - she believed some of what she said, although this was obviously a gross exaggeration to the point of parody. Her eyes watered a bit, but she wiped them off. This wasn't a time to show weakness.

"But, I'd like to talk to my friend. I trust friends, no matter their station." Maoin gave Lady Gwynn a smile. What was something her former mistress would actually have some advice about? "... L-" The kitten paused. "Gwynn ... I went with my current owner into a ruin. I nearly died ... and I would have, if my enemy hadn't decided to spare me. I've been a little afraid of picking up my sword since then." The cat shifted around uncomfortably - she had wanted to ask someone before Lady Sorcha about this issue, but it obviously wasn't her proudest moment. "... how do you deal with it? The fear of dying in a battle?"

She hoped even if Gwynn didn't want to talk about herself she'd at least be willing to talk about her. Maybe it'd make the noble open up a bit?

Chaos unfolded behind her as the maid fought down her other rescuers. For a couple moments, Fia considered pleading with Lyssa to stop and make peace, to stop this needless destruction. A single look on Cynthia's face changed her mind. They'd be cleaning the bathrooms until dawn. "r-RUN! Faster!" For one of the few times in her life the phoenix yelled, eyes wide and excited.

"Cynthia! Tell Karia to head into the village!" The phoenix finished her message by starting a flamethrower to force Cynthia to stop before the flames as they fled down the hallway towards the window. Lyssa needed time, and hopefully this would buy it.

Actually, this was a little romantic. Being carried like a princess and all through the choas by her victorious savior. The phoenix actually blushed a little.
