The officer hesitated for a second. "We are from the Federation. We are in an armed conflict with the...barbarians to the south of us, the Yahupi confederacy. My name is Edward Horward, I am the Officer of the squadron stationed here." the officer replies. "Tell me of this...Veilletes republic." he said.

_

The Yahupi Confederacy spot this vessel as it arrives through one of the nearby straights. They can't really do anything about it until it makes landfall, however they believe it may be from the same origin as the other Ferry that has arrived in another location. The Yahupi prepare for battle incase this might be another new thing the Federation has come up with, or just prepare for battle anyway.

The plane flies over these islands, discovering they are inhabited. There is plenty of various buildings and structures and what seem to be troop movements down below. There are various dirt roads, and no airfields or anything that would signify they are advanced beyond basic industrialism.

"FIRE!!" a Yahupi officer shouts, upon seeing the plane. He directs his soldiers to fire at this thing to the best of their abilities.

A trebuchet fires off a few flaming cannonballs in the direction of this plane, they miss but others start firing at this plane. It is certain the Yahupi do not like to be flown over, if they even know what a plane is. They probably don't.

A Veilletes Explorer within a party was explaining on how and what formed the Veilletes Republic on a short and an oversimplified backstory.

"It begins as the small kingdom called the Veilletes Kingdom. Then there's merger union of two kingdoms with an unfortunate intermarriage of our royals, and thus formed the megalomaniac empire along with the Militarian that spurs beyond within our vision. However, we're officially split up into two stable nations right after the great Militarian Revolution to finally ended the idea of serving under a royal family, and probably one of the largest empires to date. That's probably about it, I guess." told by the Veilletes Explorer.

Another Veilletes Explorer has asked a single question about the Yahupi Confederacy.

"Who was those barbarians called the Yahupi Confederacy? If they are barbarians, then how they have manage to form a basic government idea of confederation?" said by another Veilletes Explorer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Recon Plane was attempting to evade the flaming cannonballs by doing some flying, defensive maneuvers.

"This is Triotanor recon seaplane reporting. We've been flunged by a flaming ball of steel. Can I have a permission to disengage and returning to ship, over?" radioed calmly by the recon pilot.

"Affirmative, you may abort your mission and returning to ship, over and out!" radioed by Triotanor's radioman.

The recon plane was heading back to the sea and goes for a landing onto an ocean before being picked up by a ship's crane.

The officer nodded to this story. "Thanks for the information, sounds rather interesting. I'm sure the Federation would be willing to establish an embassy and a trade relation of sorts. However I'm not the person to talk to about that. You would have to contact my superiors." he stated.

Another soldier addressed the question that the other explorer had. "Allow me to explain. They are governed over by a hostile religion called the 'Cult of the Sun'. They worship the sun and do various rituals associated with it. They use slave labor for many things, and have a policy of guilty before proven innocent. They burn people in public and they have a very harsh treatment of any foreigners within their lands. They are hostile expansionists and seek to spread this 'Cult of the Sun' wherever they may find land to. They are lead by a central Cheif, Cheif Tutanabo. They also use what they call...Solar shields in combat, to block musket fire and fire in between them. They are horrible people, and need to be stopped. They don't surrender, and fight until their dieing breathe." he said, telling them of the location of the Yahupi Confederacy, and the Federation in general.

_

The Yahupi stopped firing their trebuchet's at the plane as it flew away. They are currently weary about any further encroachment onto their lands, and they keep watch over the battleship nearby.

"We're the Veilletes Expeditors, and we're here to take a strong claim on this inhabitable area of the southern continent in the name of the Republic." transmitted back by the broadcast of same frequency.

Apparently, the Veilletes seems to put most of their jobs with '-ors' at the end of the word as to distinguish their cultural language by the Veilletes people.

"Weapons, weapons and more weapons. Yathon specialises in the construction and development of weapons, and we are willing to trade them with your nation, if you are interested of course."

"We will inspect your weapons to show if they are of any use to us. They are located out at the firing range outside."

=====================

In an act of defiance, the Trafal Free State terrorists who fight for a free Trafal state have taken over the Trogo authority buildings.
The Army was mobilized and the city of Trafal was under martial law, shoot all who are outside. The rebels however employed a deterrent that was able to fool current Trogo detection systems. Military scientists are confused but they suspect it was some sort of electronic attack that could trick sensors on Trogo drones and aircraft.

The rebels are seiged inside the authority buildings. Strategic-weapons are not being used to protect city infrastructure, but the rebels are thought to not last another 2 days in there.

Now that Khalor has set up it's naval blockade and received some supplies, it begins working on it's government. The nation is divided over how it should be governed, so they decided to hold a vote to see what is most favored. The vote ended with the majority decided to elect a leader who will make most of the decisions, but the people will also have a say in some things.

After all this they decide to attempt to get into contact with other nations. They have not heard from Yathon since they dropped off their supplies, so they attempt another radio transmission to gain the attention of some other nations and maybe make some allies.

"Delay but surely. Where is your capital by the way?" said by the Veilletes Explorer.

-----------------------

The VNMS Trionator was driven deeper into the Yahupi strait as only to gather a small information about those underestimated native tribes. In otherwise of their sensitive and aggressive behavior towards the Trionator's recon pilot, no courses of counter actions were made by the VNMS Trionator, as fighting against the inferior natives were viewed as the abuse of superiority weapons by the international view.

The crew of VNMS Trionator were still continuing to stroll around the strait as to update their charters in the meantime.

The officer informed them that their capital was due to the southwest and gave a description of it. It was a large and industrialized city, and very well defended. He also gives very precise directions to get there.

_

The Yahupi didn't like how this ship was driven deeper into the straight. The leader of the forces there declared that all trebuchet's shall be aimed at it and fire upon this vessel. The trebuchet's turn and start firing their flaming cannonballs at the VNMS Trionator. Sometimes some of them have spikes. The leader also ordered them to fire upon it, and muskets started firing at this ship.

"Alrighty then. I'll send the messenger back to the southern colonial government to send an ambassador.. for.. something.. in return of having a good relation while possibly an access through the east indie." said by the Veilletes Explorer.

--------

The flaming cannonballs does eventually hit directly at the VNMS Trionator, but being bounced off with a small scratches on its metallic surfaces and a splintered fracture of a wooden deck. In other words, no damage has been taken from a ship by an outdated siege weapon in two eras behind. The Yahupi muskets doesn't fare too well against a metal battleship as everything were reflected off by the plate of armor, some of those shots landed inaccurately onto the surface of an ocean, and ultimately in the end, just only manage to wound a single sailor openly exposed from VNMS Triotanor side deck.

"THAT'S IT! These natives just have scratched my fudging 2 days paint job already!" Angered by the captain.

"Captain! We've reported that one of our crewmen has been hit by a gunshot! He's now carrying back to the medical ward for tendering his wound." Called upon by the 1st Commanding Officer.

"Attention to all gunners, manned all the secondaries, prepare to return fire at those flaming weapon devices and smoldering the rest of their inhabitants!

Repeat!

Manned all the secondaries, prepare to return fire at those flaming weapon devices and smoldering the rest of their inhabitants! Over and out!" Ordered by the captain while ringing by the ship's alarm.

The VNMS Trionator rotated their secondary guns at the facing of one of Yahupi islands and beginning to fire High Explosive rounds at them without mercy. This eventually causes some destruction of natural floras and faunas of the island as after taking a few land hits, turning a whole place into a conflicted zone.

The Officer nodded to that. When the time arises and once that ambassador has arrived at the embassy building he was directed to he is met by a representative at the government. Apparently those soldiers had told the others about these explorers they have encountered. The representative is a somewhat short and stocky man in a red and black uniform. His name was Daniel Withboro.

"Ah, its good to see you. Please sit down." he says, making a motion for him to sit down at a small table with 2 chairs. The room has various maps and stuff of the nation, the Ambassador's personal items and other such things.

The soldiers and men stationed on that island had no time to react, the last thing they heard was a big booming sound of the missiles and such exploding. The entire island was decimated and all of those people dead. The island was left a smoldering ruin. Those of a nearby island see this from the distance in shock and anger. They know this will happen to them if they attack, but they have got to do something, a letter is sent out to Cheif Tutanabo personally.

The chief was extremely angered by this assault, and he ordered a few warships to infiltrate the area where the the VNMS Trionator came from, though they make landfall nearby to the southern territories. These ships look like harmless trading ships however they are manned by various skilled individuals and these ships are loaded with fire throwers of sorts. They don't attack yet.

The landship was slowly pushing on to the east, tearing up the thick snow of the northern tundra as its colossal caterpillar tracks kept the whole thing going forward. A large army consisting of tanks and IFVs was following all around it. The larger and heavier tanks driving to the sides of the landship, while many of the lighter tanks that weren't on vanguard duty were driving in the landship's tracks, so they did not have to drive through the thick layer of snow. Far to the front drove the vanguard, consisting of light and medium tanks outfitted with blades to push aside the snow to drive quicker, and with extra communication systems so they could communicate with the landship fleet's (an army of mechanized vehicles together with a landship is called a 'fleet' in the Lanist Khaganate) main vehicle, the landship. As the landship fleet moved to the east, it claimed a lot of territory for the Lanist Khaganate, and slowly, the AIR was building new roads, factories, mines and many more things after it while in the south, where the border between the Khaganate and unclaimed land began, there were great fortifications being constructed to prevent any enemies from breaking through and flanking the landship fleet, as the many natives and city states to the Khaganate's south favored blitzkrieg-like tactics, and because of the mostly featureless terrain of the tundra they could quickly overwhelm the landship fleet before it even knew there were enemies on the way.

General Katie Anderson was sitting in her office, situated somewhere in the middle of the landship. She was currently studying an ancient map that they she had been given by and old man, the leader of his tribe who immediately surrendered, and gave her a map that according to him, would lead to great treasure. Logically of course she wanted to take the riches for the rest of the Khaganate, and so she was currently deep in thought at where it might be. Then she figured it out, and quickly called for the captain of the landship, Jord Artac, Enthusiastically telling him to go east-south-east. She also contacted some of the subordinate officers that were in charge of the various groups of tanks and IFVs that were driving all around the landship, and told them the same thing. Jord Artac went to the bridge, on top of the landship, and said "Navigator, please set course for bearing two two point five." And slowly but surely the landship and its fleet moved towards the southeast. While they were driving the daily Kurultai meeting started in the capital, and Katie was of course required to attend, and so she turned on the large screen that was on one of the walls in her office. It was a bit blurry at first, but then she could clearly see the rest of the Kurultai. She noted that General Nurzhan was also only a screen rather than a real person, concluding the Khan must have sent him away to the south to protect the Khaganate's southern border and make sure the landship fleet wasn't flanked. After a while of driving contact was suddenly lost with the fleet's vanguard, and after an hour or so three great holes could be seen, going deep underground. The purpose of the holes was unknown, and the landship fleet prepared to avoid them, but then suddenly another hole opened up on right under the landship's front right caterpillar track, and the landship could stuck, tilting forward and to the side slightly as it tried to escape the hole. All of a sudden, thousands upon thousands of strange creatures the size of small horses flooded out of the three holes in front of the landship. They all looked identical and were humanoids with ash-grey skin, 4 red glowing eyes, and abnormally long arms. They walked on both their arms and their legs, only ever stopping to attack something. General Anderson initially didn't know what was happening, but captain Artac did, and he immediately ordered the Landship to fire upon the horde of creatures. He then contacted General Anderson, and she immediately ordered the many tanks to fire on the creatures. And so the great battle of the Eastern Frontier began.

The great thunder of cannons began slowly, as more and more tanks, self-propelled artillery and anti-air cannons began shooting while slowly moving to form a circle around the landship, the noise produced by the fighting increased. Soldiers got out of their IFVs and started shooting the strange creatures with their automatic weapons. Soon the snow was red with the blood of the creatures, but the line was still holding strong. General Anderson however foresaw that this wouldn't be the case forever, and immediately asked General Nurzhan for assistance. Arman reluctantly agreed, rather having her beg for his help later, but he couldn't really decline in front of the Khan, and so he immediately gathered his soldiers nonetheless, and began to formulate a battleplan to help General Anderson. He didn't really want Katie to be dead, because who could he try to outclass then? The battle continued relatively well for the Landship fleet near the eastern frontier, but they would not hold out forever, and soon the alien creatures would break through the line, and who would save them then?

"I don't know why you're interested to see me for the first time, but nonetheless the case, I have three proposals for you on behalf of the Republic." said by the Ambassador while searching through his file bag.

----------------------------

The VNMS Trionator has repositioned itself and going for a formally retreat by attempting a ramming speed through those fireships. It's may be a worth of a risk, but it's the only way to exist the Yahupi Strait in a short amount of time.

The ship whistle has horned, the crew are position themselves on bracing for impact, and the small caliber cannons are ready to dissuade the Yahupi fireships. The VNMS Trionator has started its full swing and suddenly throttle towards them without warning.

"What may these proposals be?" the Ambassador asked, leaning a bit forward in curiosity.

One of the ships was rammed and another was badly damaged but made it out fine enough, though they will probably sink sooner or later. The various people on the deck of the ship try to board the VNMS Trionator while shooting at anyone they saw there. Chances are these people got shot too though they did whatever damage they could. The ship was completely a wreck in the water a few seconds later and all hands were lost. The other ships barely managed to get out of the way and they slowly redirected course. As they redirected course more muskets and flaming spiked cannon balls were shot at the VNMS Trionator.

The Ambassador of Veilletes Republic had pulled his documents containing the proposals and presidential degrees for the Federation.

"The proposals of premises to the Veilletes Republic were unconscionably stated as follows:

First proposal, opening ports and sea for our merchants to get through the strait, and the establishments of Veilletes Shops and Markets at your coastal cities. In return of accepting this proposal will not only granted access to our wares, but also granted permission to set afoot at the Veilletes home ports (e.g Erksterm) and thus so your people can start a business there with a minor foreign control.

Second proposal, the requisition on claiming some island pieces within a strait for setting up a Veilletes trading ports by under our rules of governing. Here is the bastion demand of the Veilletes Republic as the map crossed for a future compensation:

Third and a last proposal, the insertion of Veilletes Resident General at your government body. His/her duties within your government is to become an advisory, and the representative figure of the Veilletes Republic as to reduce the time needed for communication inbetween two distant nations. He/She is also responsible for overseeing the progress of modernization to your country, but at a cost of limiting your power on foreign relations with other nations/factions if you've accepted this proposal." said the Veilletes Ambassador.

---

The only thing that the Yahupi soldiers can only harmed the VNMS Trionator was their sailors roaming around the ship. Not their best moments of combat nor the Veilletes sailors at the VNMS Trionator, both were on a stiff close-ranged combat between a manned automatic cannons, sailors with rifles vs the Yahupi muskets ravaging all over the ship. Unfortunately for the Yahupi soldiers boarded at the VNMS Trionator, many of them were killed by those said weapons and even worst, they're highly disorganized when attempting to fight against a ship that can carry up between 1200-2000 crewmen onboard, and half of them are complemented with a basic self-defense weapon (e.g rifle) to ward off incoming boarders.

After with some bloodshed, the VNMS Trionator had lost a few numbers of their crew, around 80 men died to a Yahupi boarding raid. But with a swift ramming by the VNMS Trionator has managed to escape from the Yahupi infested strait and now on their venture way back to the colonial state from the north.

The ambassador nodded to these proposals. "The Federation would deem these proposals acceptable. Though for the 2nd one, based on how the Yahupi action's are. The land will probably have to be under strict occupation to keep any dissent under control. We will cede those lands to the Veilletes Republic when the time has come, and it will arrive shortly due to our most recent advancements." he stated, and signed a few of the papers he has had, deeming these proposals to be offical actions.

_

The Yahupi at this point are at a major loss. They kept firing on the VNMS Trionator as it left the Yahupi straight, though they gradually turned around and went back to the port they came to get repairs. On that island that was fired upon by the VNMS Trionator, reconstruction begins there.

Far Beneath the Surface of Vos

(The Badlands)

The screams of Camilla’s agony carried out through the underground passages from the small metal room she was in. Her arms were braced at her side with metal cuffs, her legs apart and knees and ankles also braced with cuffs as she beared down to deliver the last of three offspring. As she yelled out for God’s mercy and finally the last of the three abomination passed from her birth canal, she eased back in her angled bed attempting to regain her breath until the door to the room opened.

In came one Kradam, seen only by a distortion in the air like a faint mirage moving across the room and stood above the three infants, which squirmed, writhed, and twisted on the floor. After a several minuted the mirage stooped low, collecting the three infant into its transparent embrace and went to stand next to Camilla.

“Would like to see your children?” He spoke, leaning closer.

Camilla struggled, drawing a deep breath to release her despise, and screamed out at the top of her lungs – “Get those fucking things away from me!”

The Kradam moved a small distance back, and in an unperturbed voice, said; “We thank you for your gift to us, Camilla. In our appreciation, you will be free to turn to your home in a short time.”

“Like I even had a choice in the matter.” she snarled at him. “Just let me go home. Now!”

“Soon.” He replied. “Rest. We will release you in time. Sustenance will arrive for you shortly.”

With that said, the mirage-like figure turned and left the room with its prize possessions in arms.

Two Days Ago

Border of Zandor and the Badland’s

Sandi Shon and Bran Wisken, two Zandorian soldiers patrolling the border of the Badland’s, were near ready to hand their shift over to the next to be on duty when Sandi noticed something out of place. She stopped in her tracks, holding to the side one arm to stop Bran as well, and gave a swift nod in direction of the oddity she had noticed twenty meters into the Badlands from the border.

For a minute they both stared, eyes squinting in the lowering sun to make out just what they were seeing.

“Is that a body?” Bran asked, lifting his AMP Rifle in a ready position across his torso, and pressed a little green button on the side.

“Looks that way to me.” Sandi agreed, as she too readied her rifle and pressed the red Button. “Keep your setting on Sonic.” She suggested. “Mines set to Particle”

“Already done.” He assured her, and gave a wink. “Great minds think alike, am I right?”

She shook her head with a little laugh, saying; “Why do all the Zandorian men hit on the girls every chance they get?”

“You don’t put out enough, clearly.” He jested, as they started over to inspect the situation.

On closer inspection, the body was female, lying in an undignified fashion face down in the charcoal colored dust; malnourished, naked, dirty and sprawled out like she had simply just collapsed on her face. They’d left footprints behind in the dust, trailing off into the Badlands in a staggered formation.

“Wow….” Bran muttered, his eyes following the trail of footprints into the distance. “Tell me you’re thinking what I’m thinking. This is actually happening….?”

Meanwhile, Sandi was squatting next to the body. She placed a hand on the girls shoulder then pressed two fingers against the girls neck, before lifting her wide eyes to Bran. “Looks that way to me. Warm. Got a pulse. She’s alive.” She said, then carefully turned the girl over for a better look at her face. She was young, not a day over twenty, brown hair and pretty, despite the dirt and sunken malnourished condition of her face. There were laceration on many parts of her body, and red marks at her ankles and wrists. “Tell them….” She looked up to Bran again, sincere concern stunning her face. “Tell them somebody’s returned from the Badlands….”

In a fluster, Bran almost dropped the palm-size electronical devise he pulled from his pocket, allowing his riffle to swing by its strap as he then turned the device on. It came alive with small procession of beeps and he opened a signal to base with a touch of one finger against the screen.

“Speak!” Said a male voice at the other end.

“Sub-officer, Bran Wisken, reporting!” Bran replied I haste, close to stammering his words.

“I know who you are,” The voice at the other end replied in a tired tone, “what’s the problem, soldier?”

“We’ve found something, sir!” He declared almost yelling with excitement, then lowered his tone to a moderate key, “It’s a girl. She’s alive. Looks like she’s returned from the Badlands, sir.”

There was a moment of radio silence, before; “Repeat that statement, Officer Bran.”

“We’ve found a live body of a girl.” Bran said. “Looks like she’s returned from the Badlands.”

“No one has every returned from the Badlands,” The voice replied sceptically, “Are you certain of what you’re telling, Officer Bran?”

Bran looked out at the long trail of footprints once more, and replied; “I’m pretty fuck’n sure, sir.”

The Present

Camilla sat in a chair that had both arms, backrest and seat padded with imperial cushioning. She was dressed in a white, freshly pressed shirt and pants. Her recently cut and impeccably groomed brown fell about her shoulder, and her pretty green, big doe eyes scanned the room she was in. Despite her new and aliquant retire, the marks on her face, neck and hands unmistakably told of the trauma she’d been through.

The room was the Sovereigns private living quarters. A nearby table on her right was set with all manner of food dishes and drinks and decorated with various flower types, while the large open window to her left allowed a cool, refreshing breeze and sufficient light to fill the room. In front of her, seated on a chair of equal quality to her own was Her Eminence Goaldinhoe, dressed in a full length purple garment, a crown of violet lilies was perched on the golden locks of her hair, her hands placed congenially in her lap.

Following a quiet wait to allow her visitor to adjust to her new surroundings, Goaldinhoe strengthened a smile, saying; “Welcome to my home, Camilla Blaid.”

With no need to further relax, Camilla replied a small nod and added; “Thank you, Your Eminence Goaldinhoe.”

“No,” Goaldinhoe rebuked her kindly, “You may call me Faith. I would like very much to be your friend.”

Camilla gawked at the sovereign awkward. “…Alright then. Why Faith though?”

“Faith is my first given name. Goaldinhoe, as you know, is my Sovereign identity.”

“Alright then,” Camilla managed a smile of her own, “Nice name. Unusual.”

“As is yours on both accounts.” Faith smiled. “How have you been keeping since your return, Camilla?”

“I’ve been okay,” Camilla replied, not sounding convinced, “I would have liked to have seen my parents, but… apparently they’re dead.”

“I prefer to think of them as missing.” Faith told her. “And try not to worry, my child, I am still doing all within my means to find everyone lost to the Badlands. But your parents were brave. You should know, your fathers venture into the Badlands to rescue you was not only brave, but in a way it paved a way for a new era in my Empire. If it were not for him and those who ventured into the Badlands by his side, we would not have many of the technological advances we have today.” Faith paused a moment, a touch of despair tainting her smile. “Alas, we have yet to find a way to reach our missing civilians and soldiers.”

“I’ll help any way I can.” Camilla said, staring with conviction at the sovereign. “Any way at all.”

“I have no doubt in the strength of your young heart,” Faith assured her, “and this is one of the reasons I have brought you before me today. Just you and me.”

“I understand.”

Faith nodded appreciatively, and added; “Camilla. I want you also to know that everything you tell me here today will held in the strictest confidence. You have no need to fear any personal matters or matters of embarrassment to yourself being shared with any other soul on this planet. You have my word as your sovereign. Any information you share will be applied to my efforts in bringing our enemies to justice in the utmost and anonymous manner.”

“I understand, and thank you.” Camilla said.

“So… shall we begin?” Faith regarded the table of food. “Or perhaps you would enjoy something more to eat first?”

“No, it’s fine, I’ve eaten enough this morning. “And thank you for letting me live in your Tower of Meth. It was very kind of you to do that for me.”

“The honor is my own.” Faith assured her. “So shall we begin with the hard questions? Perhaps getting them out of the way would be the best thing to do at this point.”

“Absolutely.” Camilla agreed. “Fire away.”

With her smile slightly fading, though keeping her congenial appeal, Faith leaned back in her seat in a pose to relax, and spoke casually: “As you know, my leading medical physician’s and psychological analysts have evaluated your condition.”

“Yes.” Camilla confirmed with a slight squirm of unease.

“I do hope they were not too invasive? I will have their heads.”

“No, it’s fine. They had to do what they had to do. I understand.”

“Very good.” Faith said, and continued. “Their physical evaluation of you shows that you have recently given birth. Is this true?”

Camilla rolled her eyes with a grind of her jaws. “Yeah, that’s true, but it wasn’t human.”

“And apparently neither are you, well… at least not anymore.” Faith said. “Now, isn’t that the interesting part? You now have what we can only describe as foreign DNA linked with your own human DNA chains. My scientists have seen nothing quite like it before.” She paused, folding her hands in her lap. “Why don’t you tell me what happened, Camilla? Take your time….”

Camilla took her time. Looking to the side to stare at a bowl of fruit for a while as she gathered her memories of events. At last she turned her sights back the sovereign, saying;

“They call themselves the Kradam. I never saw what they look like. They have some sort of shield that stopped me from seeing them…. Anyway, they kept me locked up in a small cell for a long time. It seemed like years…. When they finally let me out they planted some things in my ears.” She flicked back her hair, turning her head for the sovereign to acknowledge the device protruding from her temporal bone, then sat back in her seat to say; “It makes me understand their language.”

“I see….” Faith said, clearly captivated by the story. “Please, do continue….”

“So uh…” Camilla rubbed her nose with one finger as she thought about the next things to share; “They told me they wanted me to help with a problem they had. But they didn’t really get into detail about what the problem was, and I didn’t really have any choice in the matter.” She sighed, thinking some more, and added;

“They said I had what they needed – whatever that means – and told me they needed to use my reproductive system to help create some sort of new thing for them. I still don’t know what they created, but they said my DNA would react properly with a DNA they had been synthesizing or something like that. I’m not a scientist though. I don’t know what they meant, I can’t even remember properly what they said. Anyway, long story short, they impregnated me with whatever they’d made. I was pregnant for a while and held in a room the whole time. Then when I gave birth three of these... things came out of me. They were disgusting. I couldn’t even look at them.” She started to cry, wiping a tear from her face with the palm of her hand before concluding;

“That was only like a week ago or something, then they sent me home.” She swallowed hard, looking to the fruit bowl then back to Faith again, seemingly confused as her voice broke with emotion. “I didn’t know they changed my DNA as well.”

Her eminence Goaldinhoe had lost any remaining trace of a smile while listening to Camilla. Her folded hands were now gripping uncomfortably to each other as her deeply troubled eyes glared at the girl before her. “… and you never once saw them…?” She asked in a whisper.

“That’s right.” Camilla wiped another tear from her face. “They touched me a couple of times though. They didn’t feel right…. They were cold. Rough and kinda smooth at the same time. They felt like…. steel or something.”

“And did you see any other – any of your friends? The countless other Zandorian who have gone missing?”

“Never.” Camilla shook her head sharply.

“Camilla….” Faith said softly, taking a moment to recompose herself; “There is another matter I would bring to light at this time. Perhaps you can shed some light the matter?”

Camilla sighed, preparing herself for any manner of confronting question. “Of course, just ask.”

“Very well,” Faith obliged, a small smile returning to her face. “By our records you were seventeen years of age when you entered the Badlands. By any standard count, that would make twenty now. However… my physicians have informed of a particular anomaly they discovered in your cellular structure. According to the many tests they performed on you, all of which repeated to ensure no mistakes were made, your current cellular structure remains as a female Zandorian still in her mid-teens. And I must confess….” Faith finished with a sigh of her own; “sitting here before me today, you do not have the face of a twenty year old. So tell me, Camilla…. Is there anything at all you might be able to share, anything that might be able to explain this phenomenon?”

Camilla scrunched up her face, clearly baffled by the sovereign’s words.

“I have no idea.”

Zandor’s Leading Military Science Base

Lab 19.

Doctor Entil Blike, dressed in his white lab coat with black hair and glasses, stood away from the computer panel and looked apprehensively, possibly even fearfully, at the Jerin Loc, his colleague standing beside him. Jerin had blond hair, tightly curled, and dressed in the same manner as Entil, but was wearing himself a look of stressful anticipation. After regarding each other for a while in this manner, they both turned their gaze back at the monitor in front them, which was displaying the most recent information of the DNA they had found inside Camilla.

“There’s no denying it.” Entil swallowed hard, removing his glasses to rub one eye with the palm of his hand. “It has a silicone property.”

“But that’s… that’s not possible.” Jerin said, his expression changing to one of puzzlement. “Silicone life forms can’t exist – and even if they did…. They can’t combine with a carbon based life form. None of this makes sense. I literally don’t believe my eyes right now.”

“You don’t need to tell me that.” Entil replied.

“But it’s just not possible….” Jerin said again, attempting to reassure himself of every piece of knowledge he’d obtained in his years of study.

“…I know.” Entil agreed, turning to look at his colleague with a note of bewilderment. “But we’re still going to have to inform the Sovereign about what we’ve discovered here.”

“You can do it.” Jeril told him straight, removing his coat and walking towards the exit of the lab. “I haven’t slept in three days. I’m going to bed. Good luck with that.”

A bunch of people were sitting in a moderately lit meeting room, surrounding a long table. The windows outside revealed the planet they were to colonize.
"Why can't we just send in the galactic armada, annex the planet outright, enslave all the locals and be done with it?" a bored advisor, dressed like a crisp Wall Street investor, suggested.
"Because I desire a challenge," the man in shadow, the next in line to rule, announced. "A baby can conquer a planet with a massive orbital fleet. But I want to play a good old game of empire, to prove that I can still win using only my wits. That's why we will not be receiving any additional resources from outside this solar system once we land." He was making several hand gestures to emphasize the brevity of his statements.
There was a cough from another advisor, wearing the uniform of a general. "So what is this plan you seem to have?"
As the shadow stood up from his chair and started pacing around the table, he brought up a hologram of the planet on the table, with the various indigenous polities highlighted on the globe.
"First, we find a spot to land in. Since we can be easily defeated by the local powers right now, I suggested we land somewhere isolated from the other nations. Around here," he noted, pointing to a spot on the globe.
"Why not just send in the armada-" the first advisor interjected.
"NO! ARMADA!" the shadow roared, slamming his fist on the table. "The colony ship and the trade envoy is plenty enough!"
After the assembled advisors got out of their shock, the shadow continued, as if nothing had happened. "Afterward, we build up a local industry, so that the colony can be self-sufficient. We will send scout drones to locate crucial veins of-"
At this moment an aide, dressed casually, burst into the meeting. The various advisors did not react with shock or indignation at the aide, as there was no dress code. "The colony ship is ready for re-entry," he sheepishly proclaimed.
"Excellent," the shadow replied, clapping his hands. "Gentlemen, I regret to inform you but we will have to postpone this meeting for later. We can't keep the consumers waiting for their new land!"
The various advisors and the shadow filed out of the room, and the alarm was sounded, signifying atmospheric entry.

Meanwhile in spaaaaace:
A colossal, black disc-shaped object idly sits far away from the planet, to someone facing it from the planet, it looks like a tiny green, slightly blue blotch. A ghostly, copper-green glow shines from the object, coming from a line going along the disc's perimeter. It is absolutely massive, it could easily block out the sky if it hovered over a city. It inches closer to the planet, getting about 200 meters close to it. Now, the object can be seen clearly, like the moon being seen in the daytime with it's blue tint to it from the atmosphere. It is now at satellite distance from the planet.

Onboard the ship, in one of it's landing bays:

Thousands upon thousands of differing types of UFO-like ships are hovering inside the landing bay, ready for takeoff. One UFO stands out from the rest, being a dark grey color and having a small dome shape on it's top, but a larger dome shape on it's bottom. It is larger than the rest, about the size of a football field. On it's top dome it has a small, green dot painted on the base where it starts. A set of 4 landing legs are curled up near the bottom dome.

Inside the UFO:
A legion of green, tentacled beings are packed tightly, but neatly in glass pods that contain 2 of the creatures. The room is a pure white color, and lit very well with white, slightly blueish lights. A voice suddenly blares through the room, but the creatures aren't at all taken back or spooked by it's sudden appearance.

"YOU WILL NOW BE LANDING ON PLANET #25217. THIS MISSION WILL NOT BE ONLY FOR RESOURCES, BUT ALSO FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING BASIC HUMAN CUSTOMS AND BEHAVIORS. WE WILL COLONIZE A SMALL AREA AND ACT AS WE DID ON OUR HOME PLANET BEFORE WE HAD TO EVACUATE. THE HUMANS ON THIS PLANET ARE ISOLATED FROM EARTH, SO WE WILL NOT TRY TO CONCEAL OURSELVES THIS MISSION. YOU WILL ALL REQUIRED TO USE ENGLISH AND 9 OTHER HUMAN LANGUAGES TO GET USED TO AND PERFECT YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THEM. YOU WILL NOT BE EVACUATED IF YOUR COLONY IS IN DANGER. YOU MAY KILL HUMANS IF THEY ARE ATTACKING YOU. YOU WILL BE ALERTED IF YOU ARE GIVEN NEW ORDERS."

"IS THAT UNDERSTOOD?" The voice inquires.

"Yes." All the creatures answer.

"ALRIGHT, PREPARE FOR LANDING."

The bay door opens, and the UFOs all accelerate to light speed and stop when they hit the planet's atmosphere, one at a time they then hover down to a set location and begin to land in a circle formation. To anyone close enough to see it, it looks like a bunch of dots suddenly appearing in the sky and slowly descending to a location.

After all of the UFOs have landed, the creatures all exit, wearing a helmet that is a glass dome covering their heads, with a grey, ring shaped armor piece covering the bottom of their heads. They unload various items and begin building pure white structures, with neon green, dome shaped windows plotted down at random places in the structure.

Port of sphilioe,
In the booming industrial and trading port sphilioe, a ceremony is happening to honor the 88th inter-dimensional anchorage battle group but as the way of the country, it smells like anything but formal. You could smell the fine and strong liquor, it penetrated your nose, hell it even penetrated your eyes. But to the natives, it smells like a regular formal event honoring their grand navy. The cheers of the people could be heard far and wide their large chanting would cause a visitor to go deaf, from their eardrum bursting. The fireworks wore bright sparking a deep red and pink into the night sky.

But while the civilians were cheering the soldiers were hard at work,
"Okay, Men as of Admiral Kachin's orders I must read out the full schematics of this ship incase recruits, we're not here for the general here during the general briefing, two months ago, Is that understood" The 4 star Admiral named Jack Spencer boomed to the sailors. 90% replied with"Sir.yes, Sir" While the other 10% had the good sense to reply with" Understood, Sir" The Admiral yelled at the sailors saying" That was a question, not a command you people are idiots" "And I haven't even begun the hard part yet" Jack muttered to himself

"Very well. I'll gladly send you some latest equipment of the Republic in pursuing the Yahupi Confederacy for the national prosperity. Also, the Resident General will be committed and arrived to your capital soon in a given advice on how to modernize the country. Listen to him closely and choosing a right choice will made a progress of your nation, but as long as the people aren't pro-traditionalists or anti-modernization of course." taught by Veilletes Ambassador while orderly placed his documents into his file bag.

In the meantime, we're currently lacked a field of our doctrine, the land military and thus unable to send a margin forces to seize control of those islands. So don't expect a sizable reinforcements from the Republic and only given a small allocation of troops by 25,000 volunteering infantrymen to the colonial front, excluded the navy and the airforce." Told by the Veilletes Ambassador about their army standing.

"Lastly and before I'll return to an office of ministry, if you need more fighting capabilities against the natives, there was some mercenary contracts from Alfieq's Army that I do bring along during this negotiation trip, where foreign paid soldiers are willingly to fight for food and money in return of their military services. So, if you need more manpower, you may ask the Resident General to set the contracts for those AA mercenaries to combat against the Yahupi, but as long as your economy might've able to sustain that long enough to defeat them before crashing down... All right, that's all I could've asked for, and see you in the next diplomatic event." said by the Veilletes Ambassador explaining about Alfieq's Army MERC contracts before he packing up and leave the capital.

The Convoy Approaches near Lanist Khaganate waters.

The Diplomats of AA and Kronfurter has sent 3 unarmed transport ships along with a destroyer escorts for a daring return to a same area where the Kronfurter's Third Expeditionary Fleet and Force were recently once held in a dispute. They're all raised with an actual Alfieq's Army flag along with a fully white with a middle blue stripe as secondary to show their fleet was coming for a peaceful neutrality and not wishes to cause any further, deteriorated relations between the AA and Lanist Khaganate.

---------------------------------

Veilletes Ambassador's New Mission to Trogo Kingdom, from The Federation.

The Veilletes Ambassador has entered their own transport ship to set sail directly at the Trogo Kingdom for another unusual proposals in order for the Veilletes Republic to stay reverent and recognizable comparing to their bigger dissents, the Alfieq's Army whom only manage to contact one foreign nation at the moment.

---------------------------------

Alfieq's Army Expanded West to Integrate More People of a Former Empire.

Recently, Alfieq's Army has expanded its influences to their western parts of the territories. Nothing has much to explain about that time except 'to increase weapon productions' and 'to introduce a revolutionized military education' as told by one of the officers under Alfieq's Army military HQ.

Canal Project continuing to work as planned.

The great Canal Project to link the island lake and the ocean was going all right at the moment. "This will ensure the economic flow for solely to bring ridiculously cheap materials and crash resources market all over the oceania like there's no tomorrow, as once it was completed that is." reported by Soldier #622.
