Priya was thankful they had at least a room between them, but she didn't much relish the thought of hearing her partner go through this process. He wanted her to get started and that left her in a difficult position. Part of her coming here with Riley was so she could keep an eye on the girl while they worked. If she did so herself, Riley would be unaccounted for. And there was no way Priya was about to let Riley help. Not until it was clear the girl was not involved.

Priya stood up from the table and gathered the supplies she brought with her to view the tape. "I'm going to get this started then. Can I trust you to keep an...ear on him to make sure he is ok?" Calling on their relationship, Priya hoped Riley would listen and stay put. She was concerned about Roy, that part was truthful, but she would rather the girl not be privy to this information.

Location: Roy's Safe House

Riley listened in on Roy from where she was sitting, biting her lower lip for a moment as she could continue to hear the poor guy continuing doing his business. Her eyes wondering over towards the bucket of hot wings that were left, yeah she wasn't going to take the chance with eating them. That and only having a single bathroom in the whole house, she wasn't really interested in taking a big massive shit on the floor. Riley's eyes wondered over towards Pyria and gave her a slight nod, eyeing as she went to grab the laptop that she had with her, wondering what was actually on that.

"Are you sure you don't need a second set of eyes, while Roy is doing a huge hulking shit in there, that will probably stink up the whole place if he opens it?" Riley asked as she grabbed another onion ring and started to take another bite out of it. "I'm good at multitasking as well, and two eyes are better then one to you know." Riley offered, she really didn't want to sit on her ass the whole time, and be useless she hated having nothing to do as well.

Caesar Gonzalez

His childhood bedroom. Caesar sometimes comes back here to think.
Location: La Hacienda
Skills: N/A

...meanwhile, back upstairs...

Benicio could only look on as his daughter went through the full range of emotions, dealing with the digital, coded hell that Alicia has left for her. The elder Gonzalez did what he could to keep little Liam quiet in spite of the swearing and spitting of their girl, affectionately referred to as "Angel" among close friends and family (though there were suspicions that the nickname did not come from her serene, pleasant demeanor). She was his little girl, his very own M'hija, and she had her own way of doing things. Unfortunately, that was was a little too close to his brother's way - or what Caesar's way was a couple of decades ago.

Thalia, meanwhile, had pulled her Glock back out and set it on the desk next to her keyboard. The safety was still on, naturally. With a baby in the room one cannot be too safe, yes? Certainly. But the weapon was at the ready to blow her computer into tiny pieces of plastic and silicon if that damnedable Laughing Taco decided to make things more interesting for her. Well, lucky for her, the computer, and the Laughing Taco, the password prompt accepted Thalia's first educated guess. She did know her Prima. Breathing a sigh of relief, Thalia created an isolated folder to copy the file into, disconnected from the 'net, and assigned a delete macro to the new folder and any contents. Carefully, she removed the original flash drive and opened her copy.

File # SGJFE-1432 Wentworth Security, Black Sunday, Aug. 12, 1983

"You know, this might be the kind of thing we should tell Tio Caesar about, huh Papi?" suggested Thalia, glancing back at her father the Father. She was told very directly by the man to suspend any investigation into the case for the evening, anyway. Respect for Alicia and all that. But was this not showing respect for her cousin? Looking into and following up on the very piece of information that she provided miraculously upon the day of her viewing sounded an awful lot like she was respecting the hell out of Alicia. Especially as she damn near burned out Thalia's system from beyond the grave. Touche, Taco Belle. Touche indeed.

Screw this, Thalia was taking a look.

...down below...

Caesar took a long pull from his bottle of mescal and immediately wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. Classy, of course. His beloved daughter was laying on a shrine-like table covered in semitransparent cloth, surrounded by hundreds of candles. People from many walks of life came to pay their respects, the only factor in common being a tie to La Familia Gonzalez. Gifts were piled upon tables, and in the center of the area was a series of low benches and cushions upon the floor that people may use to rest and commune with one another, plus any errant spirits that might be in the room.

From one of the side rooms, doors burst open to reveal a small army of abuelitas, each carrying a covered dish or pushing cart full of yummy, traditional foodstuffs made from scratch and with love, or if not love, whatever these people substituted for it. No, it was love. Love of family and the grim determination of a people that gave homage to the anthropomorphized representation of Death. But if Our Lady of Death visited another member of the Familia that evening, it would not be because of the food, barring a horrible choking accident. They were excellent at their craft, as excellent as the family patriarch was as handling sharp implements in defense or retribution.

Caesar was not really in the mood for a meal at the time. Lots of thoughts to mull over, lots of emotions to suppress in hopes of using them later to fuel his nigh boundless rage. He did stand and stride over to one of the offering tables, securing a couple pieces of fruit for himself. Maybe a little something would serve to prime his appetite for some of that lovely roasted pork or chicken mole. For the moment, it was a grapefruit with ruby red flesh, followed by a rich, brown skinned mamey. And more mescal.

J. Keystone

"Because 'Training' means two things, y'see."
Location: Queensguard R&D Industrial Complex
Skills: Leadership, Security Protocol

There were reports coming in over his earpiece, of course. And silent alerts over his company phone, likely files and images on some of the more noteworthy of these people. They were all worthy of note in one way or another, but the information on them seemed to be coming out of a publicist's office: Only the overt stuff one might find from a light background check or from accessible public sources. Either his tech people weren't up to snuff, which Keystone doubted, or these people were great at covering their tracks from anything but the most developed, serious searches. The kind of searches that could not be performed in a couple of minutes from a security hub by a group of well fed but tired Seattleites, anyway. Ones that would require dedicated attention and a minor miracle.

Keystone's mind flashed back to that man, Wentworth. Other than his involvement in a similar industry, he thought that the name was familiar. Like it had come up in briefings with El Jefe, or like he had seen it written down somewhere in a file or chain of reasoning, pending investigation. Come to think of it, why was here here with a meeting of Juno members? He was male, after all. Word was that this was a group of wealthy and/or influential women, with the "Y Chromosome" crowd strictly in an assisting or subordinate role. Just seemed odd, was all.

Alicia was talented in the same area of expertise as this guy. Maybe that was the connection. Now with her gone, they would need someone up to the task of dealing with other aspects of their security. Suspicion flashed over Keystone's face with that thought. Was he involved? He would have to find an excuse to speak with the man, if just to rattle him a bit and gauge his reactions.

Location: Pinto Rental Cars - Airport - Mexico

Cecily couldn't help but feel a little bit relieved when she noticed Natasha had set the temperature for something decently cool. Even if she could deal with whatever temperature the car was at, she always found driving to be easier when she was cold rather than warm. It helped to keep her awake and alert. The warmer she was and the more tired she felt, the sleepier she became. She didn't want to end up being yet another statistic of drivers who died falling asleep at the wheel.

Cecily grinned at the choice of music, keeping her eyes on the road with the occasional glance over towards the GPS as needed, as well as the mirrors. "My roommate and I used to jam out to this on Just Dance all the time in college," Cecily said. She was moving her head slightly in time to the music as she drove. "If you want my future, forget my past / If you wanna get with me, better make it fast / Now don't go wasting my precious time /Get your act together we could be just fine," Cecily sang. It was nice - for a moment, she was back in her and Will's apartment, where her biggest worry was whether or not her NMR spectrum would come out looking okay after a challenging synthesis.

The rest of her problems and worries seemed to be a little bit further away.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum
Skills: None

Jaina paused for a moment. Where did Cynthia play hide and go seek? Well, wasn't that the point of the game - the location changes each time! She furrowed her eyebrows for a moment as she looked at Risa. Maybe this was the way the Brits played - maybe they only had a list of locations they could choose from? "Hmm I think it would depend on where she is," Jaina finally said. "Like at this asylum, I love the laundry room. It's beautifully equipped for hiding! Once, when I was on laundry duty, I found a person in the dryer! Totally a nifty hiding space. Maybe we should go look for her in a dryer? I don't think a washer would be nearly as comfortable, but we could try~! Oh, this'll be so much fun...Do we need to count to ten? I think we do otherwise it's not fair and cheating is wrong."

She then looked out the window before another brilliant idea popped into her head! "Oooh, I know how we can find her~! MARCO! MAAAAAAAAARCOOOOOOOOO! MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jaina practically screamed. She then fell very quiet, listening to see if she could hear anyone shout back Polo. She held a hand up to her ear in order to make it easier to hear. "Huh, maybe we need to be louder! MAAAAAAARCOOOOOO!!!!!!" Jaina screeched.

Back in the asylum, Iris stared at Nurse Cratty dumbfounded. She knew that there was some cynicism in this field of work and that the job wasn't easy - but the nurse stared at the orderly as if he wasn't even a human being. That wasn't normal by any standards - it was desensitization to an extreme. And it didn't help that Iris began to feel rather childlike in comparison. If this was normal for a nurse to stare at a fallen coworker as if it was nothing...Odds were, Cynthia and Jaina wouldn't be rescued. They wouldn't get the help they needed.

"But we can do better than that," Iris insisted. "Two of our coworkers are dead. Two of our patients - who are not just a danger to others but themselves - are loose on the world. We can't just call the local precinct and...and write this off like it was nothing. 1C'est bizarre! C'est pas comment le monde marche," Iris paused for a second, tucking her hair back. "I...I didn't take this job to just sit back and do nothing. I want to help people - and I think the best way I can do that is letting Agent Tinder know. The cops aren't going to be enough to stop this from happening...These people need our help."

Queensguard Research: Zoie gave a slight smile over towards Mali. "He would have gotten his ass kicked by Cobra Kai," she said in a joking fashion as they stood there. "They better, going to need something right now," she added as they started to head over to the make shift bar area. Relic stayed behind them and moved to one side anytime Wentworths head turned in their direction.

"Why are you ducking like that? It's going to draw attention," Zoie added in a hushed voice.

"I worked for him remember?" he said as they made it over to the bar area and Zoie glanced back at him. An idea got into her head and before Relic could protest she patted Mali on the arm and waved slightly to get Wentworths attention. "What the hell are yu doing?"

"About to cause a distraction," she said with a smirk as Wentworth gave her an odd look and then spotted her brother standing there. That was all it took and he began to beeline it that way. Walking over to them he eyed Zoie for a minute before looking at Mali and then locking eyes with Relic.

"What did you want to drink?" Zoie asked Mali.

"Daniel..." Wentworth said. "How unexpected to see you here." (Oh I can hear Snape in my head right now.)

The Roads Of Mexico: Natasha chuckled a bit and sang along with the song. This was something she could enjoy without using up too much energy. She was glad she was the type to just make a new play list anytime she got a bug in her sleeve. When the song came to an end she looked down to see what was coming up next and chuckled. As it began she sang right along.

"Hiya Barbie!
Hi Ken!
Do you want to go for a ride?
Sure Ken! Jump in! I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world. Life in plastic, it's fantastic. You can brush my hair, undress me everywhere. Imagination, life is your creation"

Things seemed to be going good, at least a lot calmer and more relaxed than being at the funeral. Granted no funeral was fun but being around Caesar had rubbed Natasha the wrong way. He had crossed a hell of a line with her and the further they got from his home the better she felt. At least mentally. Physically, she still had a long way to go.

Inside the Heads Of The Insane: "Then you might want to call him quickly. With the break out the cops will get here, eventually," Nurse Cratty said before looking down the hallway. "Question is, do you want him getting here first or them?" she asked. It wouldn't be the first time she didn't tell the cops of a murder right off the bat. Granted that was a long time ago.

Lucas looked over at Risa, and Risa looked back. "Do I even want to know?" he asked as he drove and turned down another road. Risa just shook her head. Hearing her phone go off Risa quirked a brow and pulled it out of her purse. The listing was unknown but that didn't surprise her. There were few calls that came to her that actually said who they were. What got her though was that this was a burner phone and only a handful of people should have it.

"Yes?" she asked as she answered it.

"POLO!!!!" a familiar voice chimed in, loud enough to where everyone in the car could hear it as Risa yanked the speaker away from her ear.

A Safehouse in the Deadlight District: "Oh jesus fucking christ..." Roy yelled out from the bathroom. "Holy hell..." he said a few minutes later. The first call out was straight pain, sounding almost like the man had been given a glimpse of what birth felt like for women. The next sounded like he might actually pass out from exhaustion at this point. Another few minutes passed and one could hear the toilet flush. Then there was a lot of cursing coming from the bathroom. "No, shit! Don't! Of fuck! No, no, god damn it!" he yelled as one could hear the toilet getting flushed again and then some water hitting the floor. At least one could hope it was water.....

Priya ignored the ungodly sounds she heard coming from the bathroom as she looked at Riley. Every fiber inside of her told her to not let her get involved. Not yet. She didn't know what the girl's motives were. Did she want to help? Did she want to cover something up? Did she know what was on the video? Priya didn't know and not knowing something was a quick way to screwing up a case.

"It's appreciated, but I should do this alone if Roy is unavailable. Plus, I have a feeling he may need someone very soon and knowing you are close by would put me at ease." It wasn't a straight out lie. She trusted Riley enough to make sure Roy was ok, but that was about as far as she did. For now.

Riley turned her head over towards the bathroom, still hearing Roy's loud groans and grunts still taking his massive dump in the toilet her attention turned towards Pyira as she spoke. She gave her a slight nod, as Riley started to get up and make her way towards the bathroom it seemed like that he was just about to get finished doing his business in there. Then she heard the toilet flush, and Roy swearing then the tell tale signs of the toilet starting to overflow. Riley looked over towards Pyria for a moment, she liked Roy but not THAT much to go into the bathroom.

Riley didn't take another step over to the bathroom, it probably ended up smelling like complete and utter shit, and who knows what other smells in there. "Hey Roy, want me to like call the plumber over or something?" Riley called out, she ran a hand through her hair and bit her lower lip. "Or, uhm do you need some help in there or anything?" Riley was really hoping, if he was going to ask her to unclog his shit, she was most likely gonna get the hell out of the place for a few hours, if he did ask that anyway.

Mali Anson

Location: Diamond District

With that last quip, Mali wasn't sure if Zoie was referring to the Ronnie that had been mentioned first, Chan's son or Jaden Smith. She supposed that it could apply to any of the disappointing sons she referred to (well aside from Yakov; he died decades before Cobra would have even been born), but maybe it would apply most to Smith? There was that Karate Kid remake from awhile back that she'd seen once and then forgotten about. Ultimately none of that really mattered, but it felt like something that would stick around in the back of her head.

"Ah, you're a former employer of Daniel's? It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Wentworth," Mali said, extending her hand for a professional handshake. One thing she was very sure to leave out was a name. She still had no idea what they were doing about that. The day before Relic had mentioned creating false IDs, and if those ever got made, she never anything about them. And she wasn't going to chance that her name here was supposed to be Gwen of Elandril, so she'd avoid anything concrete for as long as possible. While speaking with Wentworth, Mali also used a different voice for the greeting than usual, a tad deeper and (she hoped) more refined and sensual. This was her first proper meeting of the party and she didn't want to mess it up before Zoie ruined it all. Speaking of which.

"I'll have a vodka martini, Zoie." Mali called, briefly glancing over before returning her attention to the man in front of her. She had never actually had a vodka martini, but they'd always looked pretty tasty and the party was high class enough to have really high quality vodka (or at least they should). A shame it was probably not going to last long enough for her to actually enjoy it, but she had to act like she didn't know that her date was actively attempting to sabotage the situation.

Caesar Gonzalez

His childhood bedroom. Caesar sometimes comes back here to think.
Location: La Hacienda
Skills: N/A

The central area was more alive than ever with food, drink, and music. Fresh fruit, seasoned rice, and roasted, sauced pork scented the air, touching the senses along with snatches of conversation in Spanish (mostly), alternating between sorrowful, serious, and joyous. The extended family had come to send off the jewel of her generation to the hereafter, possibly to a version of Heaven that more resembled a colorful, Mexican Valhalla. Considering the family's background, it was just as likely that the Poderes Que Son1 had to shuffle them all off someplace else so that they didn't take over the regular Land of the Remembered Dead. Their numbers were high and there was a hell of a reputation to think about.

In the midst of this, Caesar was beginning to honestly get into the spirit of the occasion, swaying in emotion from grief to laughter and many settings in between, sharply flavored with nigh trademarkable rage. The man had lost his daughter, and he was just now getting dealing with it in a manner that would have been deemed acceptable by the rest of his extended family. Spoiler alert: It involved alcohol and sharp things.

...meanwhile, upstairs...

Thalia sat back with wide eyes and a look of astonishment at the contents of the file in front of her. No more tricks, no more signs of dangerous code infecting her machine; nothing but cold, hard information on something that occurred years before her birth but somehow had all the earmarks of knowledge people would kill for. She knew one of two words associated with whatever bullshit this was that Caesar and Alicia involved themselves in, and both of those words were in this file. "Black Sunday... holy shit." Her voice was almost breathless with wonder, coupled with a sense of dutiful foreboding. "I think I know why Alicia died, if I can sort this out."

"You keep going into this, M'hija, there's no going back." Benicio gently warned. "Maybe you should take what you have to Caesar."

"I'm not sure what I've got here, Pops. This is huge. I need more time to look this over. Tio Caesar's going to have to see this eventually, huh? He's got enough on him right now. Let him mourn some."

...back downstairs...

Caesar stood tall, a bottle of Mexican mountain booze in one hand and a blade in the other. He had a cigar hanging out of his mouth and his hair hung around wither side of his craggy face. Around him, musicians of every type gathered, their instruments in hand, each doing their part to play the Spanish language version of "Wooly Bully" while Caesar half-drunkenly conducted them with his machete.

Cecily Ashworth

Cecily grinned as well, recognizing the song. Despite all of the different schools she had attended in elementary and middle school, Barbie Girl had always been a popular request at school functions. It was a universal language in its own right, similar to math and science in that regard. Of course, it also helped that it had made her little brother go absolutely bonkers. He hated it for some reason that hadn't been clear back then - but that made complete sense to Cecily now. She was keeping her eye on the road, checking the GPS and the mirrors intermittently as she went. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be any problems.

However, a thought then came into her head that only Roy could appreciate - wasn't this just like the Sinister Six? The group of super-villains would be Juno, making her and Natasha Spider-Man. From what she could recall from the comics, the Sinister Six's largest mistake was that they never tried to take on Spider-Man as a team. But beyond trying to kill Spider-Man, they had also been interested in world domination. It all made sense - from what she could tell, Juno didn't have very many qualms about sacrificing their own. Were they really a team? And maybe that's how they'd beat them - by facing the members individually but united.

"Come on Barbie, let's go party," Cecily chimed in, once the song had reached the appropriate point. She was resisting the urge to break out some of the parodies of the song she had heard before. Hopefully Juno didn't have anything like an infinity stone in their possession.

Iris Kingston

Location: Justice Asylum
Skills: Perception, Psychology, Photographic Memory, Intuition, Escape Artist

Iris paused for a moment, looking at Nurse Cratty with a mixture of shock and surprise. Yet as much as she wanted to contemplate the sort of person that would make such an offer, and then give an impassioned speech as to why it was wrong to cover up murder, Iris instead tried to get a read on Nurse Cratty's intentions. She was a psychologist, after all - her specialty was figuring people out based on the things they said and did. And as far as Iris could tell, Cratty just about seemed willing to cover up a murder. She didn't want to just leave it at that, but Cratty was right - they didn't have a lot of time.

"Don't call the police - not until Tinder's been here - but also don't mess with the body or anything," Iris said, before running off towards the nearest phone. She had a cousin who worked in forensics - she knew the basic idea that it was a bad idea to touch things before an investigation could happen. But beyond that, she had very little idea as to what to do with a crime scene. She picked up the first phone she came upon and thanked her lucky stars that she had been blessed with a photographic memory. Tinder's phone number came clearly to mind and she dialed, tapping her foot as she waited for him to pick up.

"Agent Tinder? 1Je suis très desolée mais...There's been another murder - and an escape. Cynthia's friend - Sarbye," Iris said, as soon as she heard a click on the other end of the line. There wasn't time for pleasantries.

Meanwhile, in the getaway car, Jaina clapped her hands excitedly as she heard Cynthia's voice. While Jaina was completely content with where she was, she was also getting an idea of her surroundings - the layout of the car, as well as her two new friends. There was nothing keeping her from leaving - the doors weren't even locked. Jumping out into traffic would be exciting~! She also noticed how Risa seemed to trust her - the people at the asylum rarely trusted her. They put her into straightjackets and tried to make her take medicine. They made her talk with doctors. They tried to STEAL her HAPPINESS!

"MAAAAAARCO!" Jaina squealed. "Cyn, you need to come and play with me~! I've made two best friends. One of them is a Shadow Person! And the other one knows the Queen of England! It's sooooo cool~! Oh, and we had such fun on the way out of the asylum! Like bam bam bam! Everyone dropped to the ground and we got in this beaaautiful car! How's your mom? She seems lovely~! I always knew that she was good people. You have to let me meet her some time properly~! We can play knives together! Oooh or what about hide and go seek with the police? That's always fun~!" Jaina rambled. She didn't bother taking the phone from Risa. Her voice was loud enough that Cynthia wouldn't have any problems hearing her.

Queensguard Research: "Yeah, well..." Daniel started but Zoie just smiled and took over the conversation.

"Well we had planned on a family reunion of sorts soon back home but Daniel here doesn't like crowds, especially family. So I drug him along to make him get some use out of the tux I shelled out for," she said with a smirk as she placed a hand on her hip. "He has no problem when I spend money on those silly video games but heaven forbid he would ever gussy himself up for mom and dad," she said as she stood there.

"Yes, Daniel was never one to take into account how much something might cost another," Wentworth said with disdain in his voice. Turning his head he looked over at Mali and then looked her over. "The pleasure is all yours, I am sure," he said as he ignored her out stretched hand.

"Why are you here?" Daniel asked as Zoie turned her attention back to Mali.

"Of course darling," she said and ordered the drink from the bar tender that was standing there and waiting.

"I work here," he said coldly.

"You used to work here, last I heard MSS took over the account," Daniel snapped back. "All because you couldn't keep things..." he started but was cut off as Zoie turned around with Malis drink and sent it flying right into Daniels tux. "What the hell?" he snapped as he pulled his glasses off, which were nor dripping with vodka.

"Whoops..." she said. "Come on, we better get you cleaned up before that stains."

"It's clear"

"Olive juice will leave a ring," she said before snatching him by the arm and pulling. "Excuse us," she said as she flashed a smile and eyes Mali for a second before her eyes drifted to Wentworth and back again. The pulling her brother off and into the crowd started making a beeline for the hallway.

The Roads Of Mexico: Natasha laughed as they made it down the road. Things were going good so far and the music kept things moving along. The further they got away from the airport and town the better she felt. Being around Caesar had left a rather bad taste in her mouth.

Leaning back in the seat she got comfortable. It was going to be a long drive. (We will break until LLA gives me a random roll that something happens. So don't worry about Cecily for a bit until you need to post a text message or something comes to mind.)

Inside the Heads Of The Insane: Tinder picked up his phone and looked at the number before answering. His eyes narrowing somewhat as he looked over at the Queensguard building. "Shit okay, fill me in on exactly what happened," he said as he pulled out a small note pad from his jacket and a pen. "Don't leave out anything," he added.

Nurse Cratty had nodded and agreed not to call the cops. Granted that was out of her hands. The alarm had been triggered which meant the cops would be notified but it didn't mean she couldn't stop them before finding a dead body. Putting on her best don't fuck with this old nurse face, she made her way quickly down the hallway and then down the stairs. She would do what she could to cut them off at the front door.

Cynthia was yelling through the phone so Risa went ahead and put it on speaker. "Jobs done, gonna give me that location now?" she said as Lucas turned down another road.

"Dead light District, Warehouse 54, fifteen minutes," a voice piped in on the line.

"Bring strawberry quick!" Cynthia chimed in. "You coming to see me? Momma said we are going to paint pretty pictures!" Cynthia yelled.

A Safehouse in the Deadlight District: "No god no, no plumber," he yelled out quickly. Last thing they needed was a plumber being called to a safe house. That would attract attention, especially if the plumber had ever seen Riley on TV or heard her on the Radio. It would be out everywhere where they were hunkered down at. Granted that wasn't a problem but he didn't want the location of the safe house blown.

After a few minutes he stepped out ad the whole room was flooded with the smell. It wasn't just him, this was back up smell from years of rot sitting in the pipes. (going to be hard to hold down those wings.) Rushing out he ran to the kitchen and went under the sink, grabbing a bucket and some other things. "Stay back girls! I got this! Bio-hazard! Fucking hell, we could use a forensic team clean up crew on this shit. Where is Rogue when I need her ass!" he said before rushing back in , plunger in the hand, like some fucked up version of a knight in Kevlar armor to battle the Golgothan.

Mali Anson

It took some effort on her part not to just immediately tell Wentworth off for being a gigantic asshole. But she did it so that Zoie had the time to finish her little stunt (originally she was planning on something far more colorful, but when she saw the way Zoie was looking, she opted for something clearer that wouldn't ruin any clothes it touched. It would just be a waste to damage such expensive clothes), leaving Mali alone with the guy to act as a distraction while they did whatever it was that they had come here to do. Well since she was here to stall, might as well maybe get something productive out of it all.

While the guy was by no means a bundle of joy to be around, even what little she had learned of him indicated that she could learn something useful if she played her cards right. So she let the smile drop and focused on trying to talk to him in a more straightforward manner. If he was going to continue being a prick after she used a measure of candor, then would be the time to tell him to piss off, even if it was a high class party. Or perhaps she could workshop some sort of creative way to tell him off in a way that would fit the tone of such an event. But that was getting ahead of herself.

"Those MSS bastards stole your contract, and now you're trying to pry it back, right?" It was a guess, but one that was probably correct based on Relic's words and context clues. And something told her he would react better to something work related rather than some substandard attempt at smalltalk when he clearly wasn't interested in anything of the sort. Meanwhile, Mali also ordered a Chartreuse Martini at the bar. She still wanted her damn drink and she would have it. Lord knows she'd need it if her night was going to consist of talking to the killjoy in front of her. If this all went to shit, she'd have to see what else she could do while more or less stranded in a sea of people at a party she didn't belong in. It was times like these that it really hit her how little planning and forethought went into a lot of the things she did.

Riley nodded slightly, she could understand she still needed to lay low for awhile until whoever wanted her dead decided to give up, but still Roy could at least call someone to unclog the toilet when they weren't there. When Roy opened the door Riley could instantly smell the massive load of shit and who knows what else there was. Riley couldn't help but gag instantly. "Oh god, it smells so fucking nasty!" Riley said as quickly went to the other end of the small flat. Riley brought her shirt up to her mouth and nose covering it up quickly so that she wouldn't be able to get the smell of it.

Riley watched Roy grabbing a nearby plunger and quickly went back into the bathroom, and closed the door behind him, yeah she totally wasn't going to use the bathroom while she was here. Riley awkwardly turned away, she suddenly lost her appetite as well she was doing her best to try and not vomit at all in front of Pyira. "I'm so not using that bathroom while i'm here." Riley said to herself as she went over and cracked open a window.

Priya left the hazard zone before Roy could leave and fill the remaining rooms with whatever the hell occurred in that bathroom. Thankful, but still feeling a bit sorry for Riley to have to deal with that, Priya made her way into a separate room. While Roy dealt with his issues, she would at least get a start on the main reason for coming here.

Priya set the laptop down on the table and pulled up a chair that looked like it could break under any amount of weight. She gently sat down just in case that was to occur. Once she felt confident it would not crack under pressure, she opened the laptop and turned it on. The process took about as long as expected, going through the motions, but eventually, she managed to log in.

The file was easy to spot. All that was left was to view it. Priya full screened it and sat intently, watching the video play in front of her.

Iris nodded, even though Tinder couldn't see her - this wasn't FaceTime, after all. She took a moment's pause before instantly bringing to mind everything she had seen. Her photographic memory could be a blessing or a curse - in this situation, it was a little bit of both. "The United Nations sent a translator who could speak in Russian - 1elle s'appelle Risa. After my patient - Jaina Sarbye, she killed the orderly last night - assaulted me in the isolation ward, the translator 'elped. She demonstrated considerably athletic abilities and then seemed to get along quite well with my patient, speaking with her in Russian. At first, it seemed she wanted to 'elp...," Iris trailed off for a moment, before detailing the attack in gruesome detail. "Another orderly is dead. I can 'old off the police if you wish to see the body first."

Iris paused for a moment, waiting to see if Agent Tinder had any additional questions for her. She figured the police would be there within the next ten minutes. She could have been wrong, as she wasn't entirely too familiar with police response time. She sadly felt that she would be soon enough, however. She bit her lip, glancing up and down the hallway as the alarms continued to flash. More patients' families would be having questions about their safety here at Justice Asylum...and Iris didn't even know if they could guarantee that anymore.

Meanwhile, Jaina's ears perked up. The job was done? She had assumed that the Russian Circus had sent Risa to collect her - but had it been Cynthia's mother? She squirmed a bit in her seat excitedly. That'd be sooo much fun~! She hadn't met Cynthia's mother properly and this would be the chance to fix that. However, she wondered how Cynthia's mother came to be involved with the Russian Circus? She didn't remember Cynthia mentioning that - but she had to bet that her mother was a fire eater. It was epic and she was certain that Cynthia's mother had to be amazing.

"Oooooh pictures~! Cyn Cyn, we can go to the circus! The Russian circus is here! I can translate for you, it'll be so much fun! You can see all of my old friends and maybe we can meet a Bazhooli! Oooh do you think they'd let me back on the trapeze? That'd be amazing! It's like flying, Cyn!" Jaina exclaimed. She then turned to look at the man in the car. "Are you circus too? Nah, you're British. Hmmm....Oh, what's your last name? I can guess who you might be if I know it! If you don't have one, it's a dead giveaway that you're Prince Harry by the way."

Caesar Gonzalez

His childhood bedroom. Caesar sometimes comes back here to think.
Location: La Hacienda
Skills: N/A

...Upstairs...

The flood of information coming at Thalia was obviously important. Names, dates, aliases. Directly underneath was a report of a church shooting, all involving people with these aliases that were pulled straight from Roman mythology. Well, mostly involving names pulled from Roman mythology. Her eyes narrowed, contemplating writing some of this down. Ultimately, she rejected this idea as her opinion revolved somewhere between the concept that print was dead, and that the only reliable way to secure a written message was to eat it. Getting the message back out was a more cumbersome animal, though. Much more cumbersome. Only two routes to take with that one, and while not really the dainty type, Thalia would rather just make a copy and bury it someplace inconspicuous. Like shrunk down into a single pixel and tacked into a copy of her favorite old-school video game. Maybe a FPS. She thought she had a copy of Duke Nukem 3D on one of her flash drives somewhere. Yeah, it would work. Just this moment, she was in a secure location. There was time.

Another mention of a tragedy, same day. This one was a car bombing that claimed the lives of more of these Roman Goddess women. Three more. It was like someone came by and cleaned house that day back in '83. Hell of a Black Sunday. It looks like the kind of thing that Caesar might have set up, except that there were a lot less stabbings, and far fewer deaths that looked personally motivated. But there were interesting quirks to both incidents that she had read about so far. The shooting saw a Valerie Pye and an unidentified child living, while the bombing claimed a presumably unexpected death - a man named Russel Avery, former Navy.

Okay, she was going to have to tell her uncle about this. Thalia knew absolutely nothing about the situation so far. She didn't know what Alicia had gotten herself into in the first place, not really. Vague outline at best. It was great that she was able to get into this file, awesome that she might have something that could help, but without even a base knowledge of the situation so far, this made little sense. She needed perspective. Or someone did. Absently, she pulled out her favorite automatic knife, unloading the blade into the space next to her and retracting it repeatedly.

...Downstairs...

The viewing had turned into something resembling a highly respectful Irish wake, minus the Irish (for the most part, anyway). The gathering was getting a little loud, what with the music reaching a faster tempo and more people joining in. Caesar was not entertaining the possibility of dancing, likely ever again. But people were. Even a ritual revolving around the death of a cherished family member was a thing that required celebration. Let it never be said that they were not a people in touch with their own mortality. It colored every aspect of their lives. And even in the face of this final destination of all things that lived and walked upon the Earth, the Familia Gonzalez sent off their flesh and blood with song, with food, and with the promise of revenge.

Somewhere in the courtyard, a gathering of testosterone junkies (mostly Gonzalez, but there were a few Rodriguez and Delacruz in the mix) gathered in a circle as people exchanged hard currency, arguing the merits and liabilities of the two men circling each other in the center, arms up, engaging in the pugilistic arts. Eventually, every gathering devolved into something physical. Couldn't be helped. Hurling machetes at targets, boxing, lucha, holding palms above lit candles; these things all came about as the alcohol flowed freer. Caesar looked upon the scene with a wistful notion, shaking his head. If he were a couple decade younger, or if he got about halfway down his bottle of booze. Yeah, just a little more time. Maybe get a plate first.

J. Keystone

Location: Queensguard R&D Industrial Complex
Skills: Leadership, Security Procedures

The earpiece of both Keystone and the lady known to him primarily as Vinters sounded with what seemed to be an issue fro the team in the Hub. "Boss, we had monitor flickers from all of our screens a little bit ago. We didn't think much of it, but it considering the guests it might take some looking into. What do you want to do, sir?" Keystone sighed. Naturally, there was going to be a problem tonight. The tech team was there to do what they did best; something for which Keystone was not trained. It's why they were present. "Right. One o'you get on monitors, gimmie a look at what's kickin' about whilst the flicker happened. Pay special on the guests, yeah?"

It took a minute, but there was a response. "Can't say for sure Boss, but it looks like that Wentworth guy might have signaled." A cold grip took Keystone's spine. If he did signal, that meant that he didn't do anything himself, if he did anything at all. If he did do something, that meant that there was a team in play inside the facility. Or a traitor. Something wasn't right. "Bloody 'ell... right then, make sure I gots a briefin' room on the ready, and run a diagnostic on the right fongin' quick. I'll keep an eye on Ol' Wenty. Just be ready for some noise, yeah? ...oh, gimmie a physical sweep. Real eyes on scenes. Report back stations A-friggin'-SAP."

With minimal hestiation, Keystone entered the gala, the lady from Seattle at his left rear flank. Standard practice, given the situation. He gave the room consideration, noting secure points and exits. But more than that, he tried to get a good decent look at the habits of the people there. Did anyone seem to be overly cautious? Withdrawn? Reject or minimize conversations? And to whom was Wentworth speaking? Did he have personal security on scene, plainclothes or standard? And where were Keystone's people? Many things to watch for. Many more to ponder. But most of all, when would be a good point to get this fucker in an armlock and lead him out of this room and into a quiet place where a proper discussion could be beaten out of him.

Queensguard Research: Zoie pushed her brother through the crowd toward the hallway to where the bathrooms were. Thankfully in a place such as this the bathrooms were easily located and accessible. Mens, womens, and hell yeah, a family one. That would work. "Get in there," she said quietly.

"Let's get you cleaned up," she said in a normal tone as she opened the door and glanced around, waiting for Relic to enter. A few seconds later they were both in the bathroom and the door was locked behind them. The mens and womens bathrooms might
have allowed for more than one at a time but the family allowed to be locked for privacy of a single stall.

Wentworth watched as they were around the corner and then his eyes shifted elsewhere for a minute before turning his attention back to Mali. It wasn't like he wanted to speak to her but she had mentioned MSS. "Yes, something like that. I take it you have had a personal run in with them yourself, at least from the way you speak. Have you?" he asked as he looked her over.

Inside the Heads Of The Insane: Marc took down notes as he could and then looked over at the front door of the Queensguard facility before turning his attention back to his phone call. "I can't get there, at least not for a couple of hours. I am held up right now. Let the police come, don't hinder them from their investigation. Perhaps they can help," he said int the phone as he ran over what she had told him again.

"This woman, what did she look like exactly? Any features? Was she with anyone else?" he asked.

"Walsh," Lucas said with a chuckle.

"We'll be there." Risa was just going to let the girls keep talking on the phone but it seemed the woman on the other end wasn't. The phone line went dead and Risa sighed before slipping the phone back into her bag. "Only a little bit longer," she assured Jaina as she pulled out from her bag a crayon box and a Lisa Frank Coloring book. Handing it back to the girl. She figured that maybe it could keep her busy. "Only for coloring right now, no painting until we get ready for the circus. We do want to put on a show don't we?"

A Safehouse in the Deadlight District: Roy looked over towards Riley. "Hey, it's not my fault! You girls were the ones that ordered Ass Blow Out level hot!" he said as he walked back to the table once things were cleaned up as best as they could be and he had nearly given himself third degree burns washing his hands to make sure they were as sterile as possible as this point.

Picking up the bag he ripped off the receipt and handed it over to Riley. He wasn't lying. Under the wings, it said - Sauce: Ass Blow Out. Seemed it was a very fitting title. Granted when Roy ordered it, he was pretty damn sure it was just a joke and not to be taken literally. He would for here on out take all plays on words when it came to hot wing sauce with every bit of weight they had.

Picking up his drink he downed it quickly and finally had a seat next to Priya to watch the video. It was an interior recording of the warehouse where Lawson and Clemins had shot each other down just outside. The time stamp was two hours before everything went to hell and there were two dead bodies on the evening news. Everything seemed fine for a while. People just moving in and out but there was no sign of Clemins yet.

It wasn't until they got to the half hour before hell broke out moment did anything really change. A woman with red hair came into the place. From the angel of the camera one couldn't see her face but the way she carried herself seemed familiar. There were some words exchanged between her and Clemins as he sat in his desk. The exchange seems to be getting heated but one can't hear it right now.

Well step one accomplished. She had gotten him to engage with her in a way that wasn't completely offputting and made her want to punch his face in. Punching people in the face would probably (but hopefully not) come later. And she only had one hand available for that now. She had to hold herself back, lest she end up with two broken hands and an even longer waiting time before she could get back to being able to weight train. Also not effectively being able to use her hands in every day life. That would also being really annoying to have to deal with for 10-12 weeks.

The downside is that she'd now gotten herself involved in a conversation where she didn't really know what she was talking about and had to make due. That particular downside was a problem she had expected to face coming in, so it wasn't really all that surprising that it came up in the conversation at hand. Perhaps she didn't need to know a lot, though. She had a feeling if she could get him talking, that her input into the conversational could be kept to a minimum.

"I'm not a fan of them, no." Truth, but she didn't exactly dislike the company either (as it goes for most companies one was unfamiliar with, large or small), but the implication of the words indicated her being more antagonistic towards them than she actually was. "How did they snatch it away from you? It was the fault of that Gonzalez woman, right?" An unexpected place for her research on the inhabitants of Boston Heights (living and deceased) to pay off, but having at least a couple names of the MSS Top Brass would be enough to give her the aura of being more familiar with the topic than she really was. In the back of her head, her brain scrambled to piece together a compelling back story for how she would have had a run-in with Alicia other than merely passing by her occasionally on her way up to her apartment. Better safe than sorry after all.

Riley looked towards Roy when he came out of the bathroom finally, it seemed her finally had gotten his bowels under control at this point. She looked at him as he ripped off the receipt from the order, as her eyes wondered down towards the sauce that was on the wings, she bit her lower lip for a moment when she saw the name of the sauce that was on there. Riley wondered if she would end up getting the same stomach issues that Roy had now. However Riley remained quiet she decided to stay quiet for now, as she watched Roy and Pyira went to do their own thing with the video that she got earlier.

Riley then decided to get bored, the whole police footage wasn't something she should look at unless Roy or Pyira or both of them gave the okay to. "I'll just be over here, you guys go ahead and do your detective thingy." Riley said as she walked over and sat down on the couch, and took off her shoes kicking them over to the side. Riley however did occasionally try and steal a glance over at the computer screen, getting bits and pieces of what was going on there.

Priya watched the video intently. She was fixated on it so much she almost didn't catch Roy coming in to join her. She merely nodded her acknowledgment as she watched. "Just in time, it was just getting good." Sarcasm at its core, she continued to watch.

Nothing was happening. Not yet anyway. It wasn't until a red-haired woman joined them and the conversation got heated. "Well, look at that. A heated discussion before things turned sour." Her intuition was right, to some extent. She stole a glance back at Riley, making sure the girl stayed away.

She waited for Roy to elaborate more.
