That's true, and I do like the dramatic-ness of three strike barrier so I think I'll swap Waboku for that. Other than that for this 1st post do you want just posts for our #1 or for all students?

EDIT: So not to be a fukkin' idjit this time. Use as many of your characters as you feel needed for this first post. I know I haven't really posted yet because I don't have any frikkin' time right now, but I don't think I need to post for anyone other than Masaru and maybe Ryuuji darting back to his seat right now. Maybe use Emi to bounce some commentary off of Masaru.

Both sides are being played by Sat. If you want the duel to advance, we could do that. We wanted to give players a chance to react so far before doing anything, since we were expecting some audience reactions, but we can advance it if you've too little to work off of.

Since it's the Water dorm teacher duelling a former student I'll have plenty to react to. I guess I just misunderstood your post about how it was going to be rigid for 2-3 posts then you were going to open things up; I thought you wanted to get 2-3 posts of the duel out before the rest of us posted.

whoops lol. my bad.

When I said 'rigid first 2-3 posts' I meant your characters will stay in a single location for about 2-3 posts before they're let loose on like the 4th post to 'explore' on their own. (basically, we want to get the setting introduced using the first few posts after which you guys are left to sandbox for a little while).

@MidKnights@ThePlumbum@Deluge@Eklispe@King Cosmos I'm a fukkin' idjit who can't communicate with his boss properly. Small survey: What do you guys prefer? It's a 4-turn duel and it's just about written up, so do you guys want us to post it turn-by-turn, post two turns as one and then the final turn apart as well, or post the full thing in the next post and react to the whole thing at once?

I'm asking this because, uh

i kind of poorly communicated with sat and we had two different thunks on it

Personally I think posting it all at once is a good idea.

Generally, waiting for a round of reaction posts in between turns would kind of fug up the flow. The starting turn, yeah that's fine, but if we just did a few turns a post for the rest of the RP... We'll never get anywhere.

Set the trend now rather than later lol

It makes sense, yeah. Though there's not a lot of creativity in reaction posts, so I'd avoid as many of them as possible. If everyone wanted to do multiple posts to end this duel, I'd probably still wait until it was over to make a reaction post anyways because making more would be more hassle than entertaining.

I tend to agree with Deluge. Posting the whole thing at once will keep the flow going for us, although I wouldn't necessarily whine about one turn per player per post though.
