Rainer began to sweat bullets at the large mans glare. “U-um, I'm not exactly a pirate.” Rainer said under his breath as he grabbed another barrel, this time throwing it into the air instead of directly at his opponent. The barrel now falling and on a direct course for the large man. At the same moment Rainer dashed forward, sheathed sword in hand and swinging for a horizontal slash, hoping that the old man would only be able to block either the barrel or his strike but not both.

Kyy waited. He waited for the man's hands to be closer. As they reached his own range, he saw his chance. He grabbed a wrist and used his fruit. "Rainer! I'm trusting you! Throw us! I'll keep him from moving but you'll need to get me!" He gave the most serious face anyone had ever seen from him.

Saki looked up and sighed. "Better late than never I guess..." She ignored the marines and grabbed onto the rope holding the ships together, shimmying across.

Janet

A couple more javelins followed up at her enemy, this time Janet had sent regular exploding spears at the opponent. The flickering sight of her opponent enlarged have made her uneasy for the moment, yet she does not intend to give her opponent any semblance of an opportunity.

After hearing Kyys request, Rainer dropped his sword mid swing to grab the old mans midsection, before mustering his strength to push the man, and in effect Kyy, directly forwards and hoping to cause the old man and Kyy to fly into the water.

"What's this now?" The old man's face broke into a scowl. "How's your?" He would've said more, but paused as understanding slowly came to him. He was moving, that was true enough, as there was no way the figure in front of him could've kept him from doing so while in his prime, but it was so slowly it didn't do him any good. "Grrr." He growled, bracing himself for what he knew was going to happen next.

@Noodles
"Damn." The short man with the pistols muttered just after the ringing in his ears died down. "Those were some explosions. Hope that little lunatic doesn't sink the ship with stunts like that." He didn't wait for an answer, but instead, relaxed his body, and burst out of the smoke, making a Bee line for the young woman. "Better do this up close, or we'll all end up sinking to the bottom of the sea." He readied his pistols, intent on shooting Janet point blank in face when he got to her, which wouldn't take long at all. Despite the shortness of his legs, he moved with an unnatural speed.

@grandia20
"Don't let her get away!" The woman snapped, slapping her partner on the back, hard!
"I'm not." The man shouted, turning away from his shot, and shoving the female marine harshly to the side. "If you'll just give me a chance to aim so I can take her out before she gets to the ship. Now, let me work woman, and keep your hands to yourself. Geez. I don't want to have to go through another HR thing with you again."
"Fine. Fine. Whatever." The woman sighed, folding her arms over her chest, and leaning back. "Just hurry up."
"I'm hurrying." The man said, getting into position. "Don't you see me hurrying. Now hold on and let me just look through here."

@Shiyonichi
For a moment, the man paused before throwing his head back and laughing. "You're a pirate, and scum." He raised his sword up over his head, while moving the open palm in front of him. "Who cares what you think." He began to move to slash at the woman, but paused at a strange sound.
"Ahhhhhh!"
Despite the obvious fear in the sound, which didn't belong there, he had no doubt it was Kir. "Kir?" He mumbled, looking around. The sound was getting louder, closer. "Please tell me, you're not..."
Before he was able to finish, a flash of white light broke through the ceiling above them, right besides the hole made a few seconds ago. The white face with red eyes appeared again, but this time, there was no furry in its face. Only fear, and confusion. He didn't stop to say hello, but instead continued on his way, smashing through the floor, and continuing long after.

"Hello!" Abbygail, shouted as she fell after the man. "Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back."

"Uh." The long armed swordsman paused for a moment, mouth hanging open as if his jaw was broken. Then he remembered where he was, gritted his teeth, and made a swipe at Red-Eyes long, and slender white neck.

"I told you, I've got no time for fakes."

Musashi drew her blade and then... She took out her sheath and then turned around and started to walk away sheathing her sword in the air, a crisp sound crying out from it.

The Marine couldn't understand what just happened... until a geyser of blood sprouted from the Marine's chest and then came the sharp pain and the red line across his chest

Musashi put her sword back and shrugged.

"Hey Janet you going to clean that up soon or should I go on ahead?"

Janet

Janet hissed when she realised that her spear was not within her grasp at the short man's charge.

"Rocket punch," Janet ignited her elbows with her explosion as she sent a straight punch at that man. Somehow that move was as natural as breathing to her, after her refined control of her abilities. The good thing about this attack is that not only it gives a stronger punch, it is useful especially when caught off guard, where she could force her arm from an 'unready' state. Something that I need to take note of... There can be other uses of my techniques that I don't know of...

Kyy looked at Rainer. "The water! You can swim, we can't!" He kept his grip tight on the man until hitting the water. Immediately, his body felt weak and he began to sink due to his devil fruit.

Saki was halfway when she aimed, flipping so she held on with her legs. As the marine looked through his scope, he'd see her aimed dead center of it before she fired twice, the second aimed for the female marine's leg.

“Wait what?!” Rainer yelled after hearing Kyy say they couldn't swim before hearing the two make a splash into the water. Rainer immediately rushed forward jumping off the side of the boat and diving arms first into the water. He immediately took notice of the surrounding underwater ocean, realizing immediately that they had to have travelled a decent distance for the seafloor to look so much more different than that of the waters near their previous town. He looked over to the two who had fallen into the water and immediately noticed that unlike the sailor, Kyy hadn't been moving an fast to try to swim up. Rainer swam up to him, wrapping his arm around Kyys waist and dragging him back to the surface. “There ya go buddy. I got yah.”

"Where do you think you're...." The long armed man started, confused by the woman's back being to him, and then he understood. It came like a lightning bolt, made out of water, that shot up from his chest instead of down from the heavens. He wanted to curse her, but didn't get the chance. The most he could do before the smaller woman's attack sent his partner flying into him, and then forcing them through a nearby wall, was take a quick, shallow breath. Not that it did him any good, as once the smaller man, with the guns smashed into him, all the air was driven out.

@Crimson Lion@grandia20
The veteran marine cursed himself as he watched the boat move away from them. As quick as they fell, everything seemed to move in slow motion. His mind raced for a way to counter attack, but the fruit's activity was weird, and he couldn't quite put his finger on it. Without that knowledge, he could do nothing more than suck in as much breath as his slow moving body could manage, and hope he was rescued before he drowned.

He hit the water, and despite the urge to splash, simply froze and felt himself quickly pulled under. As best the old man could, he held on to consciousness, but that didn't last long. Sooner, rather than later, things got dim. They turned dark. Finally, it all ended with the world going black.

@grandia20
The two marines never stood a chance. The sniper managed to get off a single shot, but that was after the counter attack began. The first shot threw off his aim,, leaving his projectile to go wide, very wide, and harmlessly fly into the sky until it hit a bird, which died and fell into the sea, unnoticed by the nearby combatants. The rest of the bullets cut through them like crap through a moose. Each one finding its mark, leaving the duo incapable of doing anything more than weakly cling to life, and even that they couldn't manage for more than a few seconds.

****
"Come in?" Captain Arceus shouted into his transponder snail. "Come in? Does anyone here me? This is Captain Arceus of the Marines. We're under attack by pirates. Repeat, we're under attack by...." There was a loud bop. The man paused, and blinked. His head felt wet. With a trembling finger he touched his face and looked at the blood. Another bop. This time he went down.

Standing behind the captain was Tim, with a club in his hands. Standing behind Tim, was Mark, with his hands on his hips. He gave a low whistle. "Not bad, kid, but next time knock him out with one, because you never want to give'em a chance to counter."

Pale, and visibly shaken Tim gave a short nod, before dropping the club. "Yes, sir. I'll do better, next time." He swallowed hard and nodded again, just to make sure.

"Not a problem." Mark said with a shrug. "Let's just get the man's clothes, set up really quickly, and head on back to the ship." Tim didn't reply with anything more than another nod.

****
@Shiyonichi@Noodles
There was a crack from the ground besides the duo, and a familiar looking white face slowly pushed through the floor like a plant that doesn't understand the meaning of the phrase 'you can't grow here' or does and just doesn't give a damn. Once he was fully out, The man was huge, and pale, easily towering over the other young women, he gave a lop sided smile before his eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he collapsed.

"Well, that was fun." Abbygail called from below the hole, as her small hands appeared to pull herself up. "He" She thumbed her thumb at the large albino on the ground, who was breathing somewhat shallowly. "Gave me a real work out." She paused and looked around. "What happened with your guys?"

Before either could say anything, the boat shook, and alarms, a different type, meant to establish that this was an emergency as opposed to merely an attack began sounding off. A voice from the speakers frantically told everyone to get to the life boats.

Kyy looked at Rainer as he carried him. "Thanks... You seemed surprised that i couldn't swim. I'll... explain when we're back on board." He rested a bit and let the fishman get him on the boat. "Do you know what a devil fruit is? They're special fruits that grant powers when eaten. But they come at a cost. Anyone who eats one lises their ability to swim, and basically sinks like a log. My fruit gives me time manipulation. I believe our explosive friend has one too."

Saki smirked and crawled over the rope to the pirate ship. She spotted the spearman and another talking and kept hidden, climbing into an empty barrel to hitch a ride.

Rainer listened carefully to Kyys explanation of devil fruits as he continued to climb up the ship with Kyy on his shoulders. "I guess that explains some things." Rainer responded as he remembered the incident with Janet not being able to swim and her explosions. "But damn thats insane, not being able to swim." He said as they reached the top of the ship, Rainer gently laying Kyy down onto the ground against the railing.

Rainer looked over the ship to see if the veteran had caught up to them only to not see the man off the side of the boat. “What the?” It was then that he saw a stream of bubbles reach the surface of the water. Realization hit him and he immediately jumped back into the water leaving Kyy alone. Rainer swiftly dived towards the old man and grabbed him around the waste, easily carrying him thanks to his enhanced strength. Once reaching the surface he began to drag the unconscious man back to the ship, trying to keep the mans head above water. “I feel like I'm just a lifeguard at this point.” Rainer said with a sigh.

Janet

"Nothing," Janet tapped away the dust off her forearms. "That red eyed girl dragged me here on her own accord." She snorted, letting off a glare at Musashi.

It was that white haired girl who sent her into an less favourable ground of battle. After all, she wasn't so good at close combat, and had wasted a good spear for a skirmish.

With a smothering fireball on the heels, Janet leapt up, landing on the ship deck with fair grace. Retying her red scarf, she asked, "The marines are retreating?"

“Well, you’re welcome.”

Musashi smirked as the she jumped up onto the deck. As the alarms raised up signaling the Marines to jump ship and escape. Musashi answered Janet’s question.

“No, that’s the sign of getting the hell out of here!”

A Marine ship was more sturdy than a regular ship, as it had sea prism coating to support it and as such was far more expensive than a regular ship, not as much as a ship made from Adam wood, but worth more than what the average person could afford. If they were going to abandon ship crazy shit was going to start.

“We need to unchain the ships and get away ourselves.”

With that Musashi ran towards the towing chains and motioning the two to follow, they had a job to finish.

"Well. Yes." Abbygail said, surprised at how obvious the answer was to Boomer's question. "People tend to do that when the boats are going down, even Fishmen." She scratched her chin. "Though, I guess when they do it, it's at a more leisurely pace. They aren't as uptight over being in the sea without a boat than most. Just nature's way of things, I guess." She paused to look at Musashi, who spoke and then hurried upwards. Abbygail was quick to follow after her.

After climbing out of another hole, this one to the surface of the boat. She opened her mouth to say more, but paused when she noticed Red-eyes taking off. "Suppose I'll get the other one, then?" She began to move but paused to turn her attention back to the apparent youngest member of the crew. "Hey, Boomer. Do you need a lift? This ship's going to go down, and there won't be any cables to scurry across."

Once Janet's answer was made known, Abbygail rushed forwards, reaching the end of the marine's ship just about the same time Musashi did, and destroyed the tether that was holding the two boats together.

@Crimson Lion
The old man, in his limp state, didn't do much to resist Rainer's rescuing him. In fact, being so far away from conscious it would take a few hours before he came back didn't help matters much. Also, the fact that with the old man's powers deactivated, he had reverted to his former, wrinkly self, made carrying him through the waters pretty easy.

On her way back to the ship, ABbygail noticed two figures moving in the water. At first she thought they were a couple of large sea creatures searching for something to eat, but after a moment she realized it was in fact Rainer, pulling an elderly looking marine though the water. Without waiting for an explanation she quickly swooped down, grabbed Rainer's arm and took him back up towards the deck of the boat they were supposed to be on.

"Don't forget to restrain him." She said, patting the man on the back. "He looks harmless now, but marines are." She paused for the right word. "They're crazy, and they get worst the longer they're marines."

@grandia20@Noodles@Shiyonichi@Crimson Lion
"Jesus!" A confused voice called from the doorway that led to the lower level's of the Boat. "What happened here?" Mark covered his eyes from the sun as he moved up to get a better view of the carnage. "What happened with the marine ship?" Behind him, Tim stood watching, arms crossed and face pale. "We take a nap for a few hours and our tow gets sunk?"

Janet found that fact rather odd, she'd thought they would fight to the very last man. Perhaps the battle at the Frozen Saint have given her the wrong idea of a battle. Now to think about it, the marines don't look alike, not like those giants. "No thanks," Janet kicked off a small explosion around her heels, getting back to the pirate ship in one leap of her Burst Steps.

She glared at a familiar face emerging from the ship deck, those two people who apparently tried to sell them out. "Damned traitors, Spear Barrage," A bundle of spears flashed out from the backpack, sending it to the marine ship without hesitation. The bright morning sun casted shadows over the Marine Ship, with the full intention of seeing that Marine Ship sink to the sea bed, now that it has been severed from the pirate ship..

Musashi destroyed the tether and then jump backed to the other ship right before the spears hit. She looked towards the captain and his first mate, looking like she was going strangle both of them.

“Oh, just what happens when you introduce a bunch of wanted criminals to a marine ship... Care to explain yourselves?”

There was an unsaid “Or I cut you.” Which both parties probably understood.

Rainer nodded at Abbygail, doing as told as he grabbed nearby ropes and tying up the older marine before hiding the marine behind a couple of crates and barrels, out of the way of fighting.

Rainer looks over to the other marine ship to see Janet's spears raining down onto it. "Damn, that's gonna hurt." He mumbled

Saki was inside the barrels that Rainer put the marine by, fighting back a sneeze. Just after Rainer walked off, she let out a small sneeze.

Kyy just smiled as he watched Janet sink the marine ship, still feeling a bit weak from the ocean. "Sorry about the tow guys. We saw marines and actwd."

"Traitors?" Mark said, eyebrow raised up in a white flag of surrender. "Who? Us?" He blinked again, but it was obvious the sleep in his eyes wasn't causing him to see things. The woman in red really just launched a barrage of spears onto the already sinking ship, which again, didn't do much, on account of the ship, already going down, like a dried sponge.

@Shiyonichi
The man's attention turned from the unwanted, and ultimately useless chaos towards the woman with the swords. When she spoke there was little doubt she intended violence. He couldn't tell if she'd enjoy said violence, but liking or not had nothing to do with the fact that she wasn't going to hesitate to use it as a means, possibly to an end.

"Woah." He held up his hands in surrender, paused, realizing he was the only one, and then took a step back to elbow his first mate in the ribs, so as to point out he should be doing the same. "Woah there!" He tried not to bark, but failed miserably. "We didn't introduce anyone to anyone." He shook his head for emphasis. "All Tim and I did, was notice that marine ship over there, whose captained by a good, er, somewhat good, tenuously passable friend/ associate of mine." He motioned with his chin towards the sinking marine ship. "Got into contact with them, to see which way they were moving. Saw we were both going in the general direction, and I got the guy to hook his up to his tanker there. Figured it would save on fuel."

A short pause, as the man took a moment to try and swallow, in the ever likely chance it would be his last chance to do it. "I didn't tell anyone marine about anything. When we went to break, you all looked dead, and the marines on board didn't have a reason to go looking through the private quarters. So it didn't same like you guys needed to be woken up and explained the situation in great detail."

@Crimson Lion
The old man murmured a little as Rainer moved up behind some objects so he wouldn't be able to see what was going on. He was still out, but waking up wouldn't take as long as the pirates would've liked. Despite the man's advanced years, he was still tougher than most of the younger marines, and wouldn't stay down for long.

Abbygail crossed her arms over her chest, took a deep breath, and pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration as the spears rained down like exploding hale. "It's not going to hurt anyone." She sighed. "Everyone's off the boat." She put her free hand in a pocket and shook her head. "But if it'll get some of the pent up anger out of boomer, I say the needless act of destruction, is a win. Agreed?"

@grandia20
"What was that?" Abbygail said, noticing the sneeze. Her eyes narrowed, and her blade appeared in her hand. "That wasn't like any old man's sneeze I've ever heard." Eyes narrowing further so they looked more like slits than orbs, the purple haired woman made her way towards the barrel.

Still with his hands in the air, Mark shrugged. "These things happen, I guess, but, not to rain on anyone vengeance parade, it might be a good idea to let Tim and myself get to the wheel, on account of the fact that there's currently a marine ship sinking just a few yards away from us." He motioned wiht his chin. "It won't take the marines long before they call for help and get it. And trust me, you guys don't want to be around when help arrives."
