Jarett

Jarett faked a wince when Valen elbowed him on the side. "Hey, I am a graceful man. Smithing seems like a job for someone who's been benching a mammoth anyway," He wished he was strong enough to fight with real weapons, but doing too many physical activities made his breath shortened and began to cough and his there was a pressure in his chest he wasn't able to get rid of fast enough. It was something Jarett had to come to term too, so whenever he could he would stay away from physical activities.

"I'll ask him." Jarett approached the bald man. "Excuse me, sir?" He called out, trying to speak over the loud clinking of metal against metal.

Keldan

"I wouldn't mind a sample taste," Keldan laughed quietly as she slid her arm down Maira's back. "That way I'll be the one to tell you if you are tasty or not." Her hand rested on her lower back as she leaned in closer to the orc's face. She was just teasing Maira at this point. She had told her Keldan wouldn't do anything tonight and the was a woman of her word, but seeing Maira like this she just couldn't help herself. "You wouldn't mind, would you?" A kiss wouldn't hurt. At least just to keep Maira on edge for now.

Thraine stopped mid swing when he heard someone call out to him and he looked over at the Redguard and eyed him for a second before finish his swing and made the metal clang one last time before nodding to his assistant and the Imperial pulled the hot metal from the anvil and dipped it into the barrel of cold water and the metal sizzled as it went in and when it was pulled back out it was forming up to be a beautifully made ebony great sword, he then grabbed it from his assistant and walked over to the Redguard before spitting in a spit tune off to the side making a clang as it went into the metal pot and he held up the ebony great sword looking at the blade before holding it out to the Redguard.

His eyes as fierce as the fire he forged with, staring at the Redguard, starring at him waiting, a slight breeze goes by as he waits holding out the blade. The assistant has seen him do this dozens of times to test the person of their judgement, and to see if they were worth his time. The Smith continued to stare reading the Redguard, the crowd stood in silence and the guards readied themselves for any form of trouble.@Rodiak

"I don't know, I just call it whatever comes to mind at the time" Mike said to her with a smile as he touched her hand, before downing his drink in one as he said "Let's go kill some vampires, I hope you remember your vampire killing training"

Valen looked at the Nord and then Jarett Even among men Nords were a strange bunch but Valen his somewhat frail friend hands were made to be admired not to hold a weapon as tall as a Bosmer. As always Valen would have to try and talk their way out of this akward position
"Good sir i do not believe we ordered this blade though it is a fine blade indeed" Valen stared into the beautifully crafted blade

It gleamed in the Sunlight a true masterpiece unfortunately i dont see Jarett picking up this blade even in his warmest dreams
Valen thought with a soft chuckle.

Jarett blinked at the sword then glanced back at his companions. Was he supposed to hold it? Was this a test? Jarett stood there until Valen walked over to talk to the bald man. Valen was right to think Jarett didn't have the strength to pick up a greatsword as tall as him, but Jarett wasn't someone to underestimate. He ignored Valen's words and chuckle as he reached over and took the sword in his hands. It was heavy. So heavy that Jarett grunted softly when he took it off the smith's hands and held it at waist level. He would never be able to wield a weapon such as this, and he didn't want to. The ebony greatsword brought bad memories back to the front of his mind that the Redguard would rather forget them. Still, he held the sword and looked at the Nord in front of him for a reaction.

The Dunmer mage watched as Jarett accepted the other man's test and held the ebony greatsword with all his strength. "I knew you could do it!" her lips curled into a wide grin as she clapped, before shifting her gaze back to the blacksmith, "Is that good enough for you? It's not everyday our friend here holds something that heavy." Alit knew he had pair of fancy daggers she was always half tempted to steal, but she found that Jarett most often utilized the school of destruction and conjured bound weaponry if he was in the fray of battle.

Haskell coughed, rocking back and forth on his armored heels. "This mean we're going to end up trying to recruit all of Solitude into this band?"

At this point Maira just thinks Keldan is purposely doing this for her own amusement. She isn't all that surprised that a good looking bard would easily sway even the most stoic of men, they're naturally trained in the art seduction. Maira is aware that she is slowly falling for Keldan's advances, and there really isnt much she can do. But tt was way too soon, she thought. Too soon since Aerin... As Keldan drew closer Maira froze and just let it all happen, for a moment her own hand tried to reach for a soft surface behind her when she felt nothing but air, eventually falling behind the edge of the bed. She lay there unmoving, her eyes up on the ceiling, then placed both her hands neatly on her belly. "I think I'm just fine right here." she says, her face still red.

Keldan leaned expecting to feel warm skin against her lips. When she felt nothing but air she opened her eyes and looked at the empty spot where Maira once sat. She peeked over the bed and smiled down at the orc that had fallen. "You could have said no," she laughed and laid down on her stomach with her head directly above Maira's. "You're not sleeping on the floor silly, you're my guest." She poked the orc's red face and sat up. "Come on, get up here and sleep." She stood from the bed began to roll out her bed roll.

the nord laughed at the breton struggle and nodded "Alright, a man who is willing to accept a blade that is to much even for them is worth the metal in my fires, How can i help you today?" he took the sword back and put it on a table next to a long ebony crafted case, he spat into the forge causing a sizzle on the hot coals and he then grabbed another piece of ebony metal and stuck it in a smelter of his own design and the metal started to melt slowly and flowed into a stone bucket that was over another firenear a series of molds "Did you need a weapon or had a question?"

he asked as his back faced the group as he started at a couple of hammers on mounts each one marked with a elemental rune and he reached up with his ebony gauntlet and grabbed the one imbued with lightening and he then walked over to the stone bucket and poured it into the mold for a dagger and her scrapped away the excess melted metal from the mold and let it cool slightly before taking it out of the mold and hitting it with the hammer her chose causing every strike to sound like thunder

Valen had a look of disbelief "well done my friend i thought you would drop the blasted thing and have an angry nord's wrath come down on us". Valen jeered he turned to the Nord "i do not believe that i will have need of your services so i'll let my group give it a go"
he told the man as his attention turned to Jarett "lucky man jarett i didn't know you had it in you".
