Titan is a little stunned as the Pichu evolves in his hands. He gently sets the new Pikachu down and hands Jen the Pokeball. "Lem." he said, before walking back to Chuck. "You did good Titan, say hi to mom and dad for me, as well as Zenni and the others." Chuck said, recalling him and sending him back home, getting Bud back.

Mike inspected the new Pikachu with a smile as he said "I'll tell you something, this is certainly a fine looking Pikachu. When you want to evole it into a Raichu, it's going to be powerful that's for sure". He then snap his fingers as he said to Jen "I have a few thunder stones so I'll put one aside for you. Pikachu learned mostly speed based moves because when it's a Raichu, it does not have same speed ... however if memory serves Alohan Raichu is susspose to be pretty fast"

Shiranui was curious about the local variant of Raichu and looked it up on his Pokédex. "Raichu: Alola Form, the Mouse Pokémon and an evolved form of Pikachu. It uses psychokinesis to control electricity. It hops aboard its own tail, using psychic power to lift the tail and move about while riding it."

Kawane’s ears twitch as they were looking at him and talking about him. Jen is proud and relieve Kawane is ok. Jen hears Shiranui’s Pokédex about Raichu as she is excite and intrest about Raichu. For now she calls Kawane back for a nice rest. “I should give you something for putting aside a thunder and fire stone.”

Mike shook his head as he said "Don't worry about it, once you complete a pokedex like me, you keep these around to help other who may be unable to find any on their journey, though I do have an Alohan Raichu with Professor Juniper in the Unova region where I began my journey if you want to see one in action"

Joy told Liam that Prof. Oak wanted to talk to him. Liam walked over to the phone and called. As a rare occurrence, Oak's Rotom was not in front of the phone's camera as soon as it rang. Oak picked up, but something seemed off.
"Is something wrong Prof?" Liam inquired.
Oak told Liam that he had gotten a call from the Characfic Valley, and Smaug's mother had passed. He felt that it would be better if Smaug was with Liam for a while. Liam understood and sent his Alolan Marrowak to Oak. Liam said goodbye to Oak, and returned to his friends, also visibly saddened.

Jen was going to accept Mike’s offer but could not say anything as she hears the sad news. She tears up as so does her Pokémon as they surround their friends to comfort them. Nurse Joy puts Kawane’s pokeball in Jen’s bag trying not to bother anyone as she is sad too.

Shiranui made the call to alter the party—switching Okami and Tsuchi for Nayamashii and Honoh—when Prof. Oak informed him of Smaug's mother's death. The point was driven home when he felt various Pokémon surround him and offer their comfort.

Liam called Smaug out and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry bud," Liam said. Goodra had come out of his ball on his own and proceeded to hug Smaug as well. "I can't imagine the pain you must be going through right now, but you know we are all here for you."

Silently Mike watched these exchanges between people, he could feel all their sadness in their aura as could Ryu. The two of them choose to offer only silent nods to Liam and Smaug while Dusk join Jen Pokemon in comforting her, even offer a tissue to her to wipe her eyes. Mike felt his Selva ball shake as she felt the presence of another strong Pokemon in the form of Smuag join the squad. She wanted to battle him but Mike touched her pokeball letting her feel the room as she stop shaking choosing to wait until Smuag was in a better state of mind.

In the corner of his eye, Chuck noticed Mike place a hand on one of his balls, which had started shaking. Soon the shaking stopped. This piqued Chuck's interest, though now wasn't the time. He would have to ask Mike about it later.

Michiru is sad that Smug is back in his pokeball but understood he wants to be alone. Jen takes the tissue from Dusk to wipe her eyes, Aura notices one of Mike’s pLuxury ball is shaking then it stop. She wonders about it as Maui nudges her with her tail.

"Well, maybe we should try to do something nice for Smaug," Liam stated. (@Alisdragon911 Smaug is in a Luxury Ball btw, as are most of Liam's Pokémon).
