Priya wasn't sure why Riley was so interested in the couple before them, but the girl's instincts proved useful before. She waited while Riley collected their room key and made their way outside. Once they were out of the room, Priya glanced back at Riley. "Any reason why you were so interested in that couple? Do you recognize them?"

Priya liked the plan and she could use a little downtime. But she was also eager to get back to work. Any work really. "Do you like people calling you a hero? I mean, I only know about what happened because you told me, and yeah it was pretty heroic. I don't know if I would enjoy it, personally."

She walked towards their room, making sure Riley was following.

O'Hare International Airport: Lincoln nodded a bit. "Oh Murph?" he said, it came out as a question but it was more of a statement. "Murphy McManus, he's been her best mate since India. From what I know of the guy, he's a good one. Tasha met him through his sister Claire when she was living in San Fran. The two just seemed to hit it off," he said as he rubbed his cheek. "Man has a hell of a right hook," he laughed thinking back on the fights they had gotten into when they first met.

"But he's a good man. Hot tempered but I guess it's the Irish in him, he sister is that MMA fighter," he added as he flipped open his phone and put up the gallery of pictures of the four of them in India. The place was rather run down but Tasha was smiling, Lincoln looked happy and then there was another man. "That's Murph," he said as he handed he phone over to Cecily.

"Never really asked what he does, he seems to just float through life but damn the man can speak a lot of languages. Says his mom made sure they all could. Sisters the same way," he added as he sat back in his seat. "Smokes like a fucking chimney."

Grimaldi Books: Adelaide quirked a brow towards Keystone. "He works for my insurance company, anything having to deal with my books currently is his business," she said rather flatly before turning her attention towards Caesar. "Then there no no point in us being here if you are not willing to pay up front. Sorry but I cannot let simply go into my library and only pay for what they find in the end. It is like allowing you to order food, eat a whole steak, and then decide you didn't like it. I don't work that way," she added in the same flat tone.

At his proposal she nearly laughed but stopped herself. "So you want me to change companies to one I have never done business with even after it is all over the national news the amount of murders that has happened on Queensguard as of late. That is your account right? Where as my current did allow for the loss of a single book, it is nothing compared to a life. I believe I will stay with the company I have currently," she finally said after she was able to stop biting her lip at the absurdity of that request. Thankfully she was able to not say what she really wanted to say.

She glanced over towards Robert and shrugged. "True but if I change it wouldn't be to them. They don't seem like people people and I do have customers to think of. How would they deal with someone like him at the door? Sure might scare off a few but last thing I need is shit blown up," she added as she motioned towards the stairs. "Since we cannot come to a deal, I suggest you leave."

Grimm, Indiana - Ramada Inn: The woman at the counter smiled and nodded. "Of course," she said as she finished up and made sure that everything was in order. "Have a good day you two," she added as they made their way towards the elevator. It took a minute but eventually the doors opened and they were able to enter. The elevator was empty and there was no music in it as it went up to the next floor.

Once it reached their floor, the doors opened and there was a sign that directed which room numbers were down which hallway. Left or right - their room was to the left. It seemed that the couple from earlier was also down that way but their room was far further down the hallway than Riley's and Pryia's. The couples was at the end of the hallway, the girls from Justice's room was only three from the elevator. The man glanced down the hallway towards them but his face was hidden by his ball cap as the woman opened the door to their room. Once it was open they got the child inside and the door closed heavy. The sound echoing down the hallway.

Riley smiled at the receptionist and nodded, as they waited for the elevator Riley looked over towards Pyira as she asked her the question biting her bottom lip and shrugged slightly. "I'm honestly not really sure, I just feel like I know the woman but the name isn't familiar to me anyway." Riley answered as soon as the elevator came to the lobby and opened up before them, she took a step in rather quickly and pressed the floor number then leaned herself up against the back wall of the elevator. Then Pyira asked her the next question looking down at her feet for a moment.

"Honestly? I don't really, it was either kill or be killed becoming the next victim of Chris. But if they want to keep calling me that it's fine with me, I am used to the attention anyway." Riley answered as she started to rub the back of her neck a bit. "It's one of the reasons why I left Grimm for good, I don't want any special treatment from people who viewed me as an outcast back in high school." Riley said as soon as the elevator came to a stop on their floor, Riley stepped out first and turned left seeing the couple once more as they headed into their room. Riley took out her room keys and started to unlock it, just as she heard the couple closing their door. She took a step first as soon as the door opened leaving it open for Pyira to come in next.

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: N/A
Skills: N/A

Caesar listened patiently to the words that Adelaide had in response to his offer. He did not attempt to correct any assumption that she verbalized, though he did cock his head to the side with a hint of confusion on his face as she described a simile linking the subtleties of consultation with changing one's mind about food quality. He understood what she was getting at. Even agreed with her on the point. But that wasn't what he was trying to get at whatsoever. All the same, the idea of explaining the nature of research or consultation contract, as he was familiar with them anyway, was made a wearying thing after she continued her train of thought.

It also seemed that her idea of a security package was colored a bit by factors unknown to him. Being fair, he really had no clue what sort of features her present contract with Wentworth offered. Perhaps it was more than adequate to her business's needs. But the fact remained that, with everything that had gone on, the older man just couldn't trust in a location where that company had eyes and ears. Especially not after the incident at the R&D Facility in Justice. There were way too many coincidences for them to not be involved, and being as that company had a more standing history in the city, they likely knew just the right people to pay off. In that moment, Caesar believed that there lay a possibility that, if Wentworth was involved with the greater issue plaguing them all, then Adelaide's seeming cooperation with him may even compromise her safety. Regardless of how rude she had been, he did not wish to drag anyone else into this that didn't have to be.

"I agree. A life is much more important than a book. I'll see myself out." Caesar turned and took another step or two toward the stairs, then paused for just a moment. "This is not a threat. Be careful. You get a bad feeling about something, get out quick. My people will help you if you need it." He motioned to Keystone and made for the stairs.

The broad Londoner had his own confused look to bear on the situation, but mostly aimed at Caesar. Regardless, he was paid to follow orders. He even did, most of the time. With a shrug, he looked back to both Adelaide and Robert, offering up a quick, "Like Bossman said, sorry 'bout wastin' your time, right? Thanks for the coffee." He turned heels and followed along, jogging for a few steps to catch up with Caesar. Quietly, he asked, "That's the plan then?" His voice had a hair of doubt in it.

"I'm tired, John." The sudden use of his first name, a thing which almost never happened, took the larger man by surprise. Caesar continued, "This could be a scam. Or a setup. Or a trap. I honestly don't give two shits about Celestial chingado Dice, either. But mostly, I'm tired. Tired of butting my head against a wall and hoping the wall breaks first." He reached the stairs and began to ascend, Keystone less than a step behind and to his right. "If this isn't bullshit, us being here might put them in harm's way. I'm tired of people dying because of things beyond my control. M'hija is dead because of this. The people at Queensguard. Seattle. Dozen or more others. And now some puta on a screen is pulling strings and we're supposed to dance for them. Fuck that. Just... fuck that."

The pair came to the top pf the stairs and made for the doors. "You tossin' in the towel, Boss?" asked Keystone, still confused.

"No. Not yet anyway. Look, Queensguard - I read the reports. A few things don't add up."

"Yeah, you're tellin' me, right? I give out orders, hear nary a bloody thing back. We look around, ain't nothin' there even though barney's runnin' roughshod over our collective arses, right? Team we just installed ain't doin' jackshite to help neither, and staff that I put in rooms're no-fongin'-where about. Still ain't got a report back on that satellite mishap. I put eyes on the scene - my own eyes, Boss. Nothin'. Not even to speak on all the cockknockery what's been on afters."

The pair stopped by the front door. Caesar voiced an observation, "There wasn't anything in my schedule about a party on the grounds before I left. Who put this together?"

Keystone thought for a quick moment. "Order came from the big lady 'erself, Boss. Last bloody moment, it was too. Guest list came with the memo."

"Why would she invite Wentworth? She drops contract and then invites the man to a party? Invited the people who were killed, and a man who's probably involved? And why weren't we suspended from contract immediately?"

"You think she's involved?" It was a statement as much as a question.

Caesar looked around at the cameras one last time before stepping outside. "Yes." How could she not be? The grizzled Mexican breathed out a deep sigh. "I'm neck deep in this because someone killed my baby girl. Mother of your son, Keystone. We know who did it now. News says both are dead. Someone else says one is alive. 'The Big Picture' can kiss my ass. If Wentworth wants their fucking contract back in Justice, they can buy it out. Don't care. Done with a place where all of our protections and guards and tech mean absolutely goddamn nothing. It's officially hemorrhaging money and destroying our reputation globally, just that one location. And I'm starting to wonder about people who are close to me, too. My grandbaby is back there with them. Your son is in Justice, and it wasn't my idea." He shook his head solemnly. "I am saying that we're being led. I'm honestly not sure why we're going to Grimm in the first place, except that their records aren't found online. I'm not even sure what we're looking for."

The pair caught sight of their vehicle as they stood in front of the bookstore. "Look, I'm the cop, or used to be. You're the bodyguard. Maybe you should take care of mi familia while I handle things on this end. Get baby boy someplace away from this. Maybe the others, too."

"Dunno, Boss. Hey, howsabout we get in on the particulars over a meal, 'fore we go makin' big decisions? Nice quiet spot where we can make some arrangements. Good?"

Caesar left the younger man's question unanswered, merely looking to him with open air between them. In truth, he was putting his attention outward, though it might have still borne the appearance to a casual observer that the two were merely having a conversation. As an afterthought, he distantly rattled off, "Okay, sure."

Robert was glad he didn't have to be the one to tell the two large men to leave the establishment, though he would have thourougly enjoyed doing it. But it was Adelaide's shop, so she was the boss. Robert was glad that she saw the fault in simply switching from her current security to the Machete people just like that, even if he had seen the possibility of it being a better deal. Regardless he had to agree with Adelaide; they really weren't people people. As Adelaide left them with no offer and the two left for the stairs, Robert watched they ascend while stepping beside Adelaide. "Have a good day you two..."

"Geeze, what the actuall fuck just happened?" Robert continued his sentence toned-down voice to her, looking from the stairs and over to her while stretching his neck further and further to the other side. "Pardon my French. That was not what I had expected to be part of today...What was all that talk about a serial killer and...that book the Brit talked about? They didn't even bother to say anything..." Robert was just as confused as he was annoyed by the two, but with a shake of his head and the final pop from his neck, it was for the best to get back to what he was actually getting paid to do. "So about those Wenthworth-geezers. Those cameras, did the cops ever go through the footage that you are aware of? If not, then I'd very much like to see them for myself."

Priya couldn't blame Riley. She wouldn't know what to do if she had that kind of attention. "Kill or be killed. Sad state of affairs when you find yourself in that situation, but it happens. Police know it all too often. Never knowing when a call coming in would be the last you get. You survived and that's a good thing, but if it does truly bother you, you should say something. If not, then forget it."

As Priya walked along, she glanced at the man and woman, trying to see if she could pick up something from them. Riley thought she recognized them, so maybe there was something off. However, Priya's lapse in attention made her run into Riley just outside their room. She felt her face collide with the back of Riley's head and her nose bend in a not-so-good way. She immediately felt pain and clutched her nose as it started dripping blood. "Shit! Sorry Riley, are you all right?" She could feel blood around her fingers and she didn't have anything on her. "Crap, can we get inside and find tissues or something? I think I just cracked my nose."

Cecily Ashworth

Cecily found a bit of a trend in Natasha's life - just as she seemed to go from romantic relationship to romantic relationship, friendships were similar. Her best friend had been made in India? What happened to her best friend before that? From what Cecily had come to understand, it wasn't too long ago that Natasha had gone to India. Lincoln then added that Natasha had met him through his sister when she was living in San Fransisco. Cecily felt like there might be something there. She just wasn't quite certain. At any rate, she was understanding more about Natasha after she died than she had when she was alive.

However, as Lincoln then said that he didn't know what Murphy did, Cecily got uncomfortable at that. Someone with physical skills, connected to Natasha, from California, and Lincoln didn't know what he did? And then there was the fact that he could speak a bunch of languages. It might have been the paranoia talking, but Cecily was positive that there was something not right about Murphy. If she were some sort of evil crime organization, that'd be one of the people she'd want on her side. "What did he call about?" Cecily then asked.

O'Hare International Airport: Lincoln sighed as he slipped the phone back into his pocket. "About Tasha's funeral and such. I called him soon as I found out," Lincoln said slowly. "He took it as well as could be expected. Said he could let his sister know what was up since she is out here working for some damn security company now. Knife, dagger? I dunno, something blade like in the title. Anywho, was just letting me know he got a flight and would be here tonight from Boston," he added before picking up his drink and taking a long sip of it.

Putting the bottle down he glanced over towards the door of the place where the main part of the airport was and spotted Gavin and Roy standing just outside talking to each other. They both seemed out of place with each other but seemed to be waiting now for them. Yet it was clear they were giving the two the time they needed instead of just coming in and interrupting them. "Listen, I'm gonna get going, have a lot to take care of," he said as he pulled out some cash and left it on the table.

Grimaldi Books: Adelaide nodded towards them and waited for them to leave before saying anything. "Yeah, it doesn't sit right with me. As far as Wentworth goes, if whoever stole my book got through their system I know things went bad. I've known the Wentworth family since college. Went to university with the mans son. Why I signed with them," she said as she started back up the stairs. Then she stopped and went back to the vault door. "But if they aren't going to pay me to look, then I'm just gonna look myself. I don't have to share anything," she said as she did the scans needed to enter. "Come on, just don't touch anything," she added before swinging the heavy door open. Inside it looked like an old library encased in glass, various books pulled on display or on tables but the majority of her rather vast collection was behind walls that controlled the environment around them.

Outside Claire came out of a place a few doors down carrying a couple large bags of food and one to go plate in her hand. As she was shoveling food in her mouth she looked over and caught a glimpse of the men talking. A slight grin she headed over to them, quickening her pace and held her elbows up. "Food!" she chuckled. "Didn't know what to get so just got a crap ton of entrees," she said as she swallowed. Handing over a bag to each of them the MSG was heavy in the air, Chinese. "Oh boss, any chance I could get off this evening? You see my brother called and apparently a bud of ours died. His best mate. Good chick, hell of a right hook. Anywho, her fiance is flying out from Cali to pick up her body and bro was wondering if I could pick him up from the airport tonight. Shouldn't take long but bro needs a sister to make him laugh ya know, needs it right now losing Tasha and all that," she rambled off without even thinking. "Oh fuck, sorry, probably too much info."

Phone rang and Claire picked it up quickly. "Yo, yeah. Okay, wait a second, wait a second God damn it Murph hold it!" she yelled into the phone before pulling out a pen and paper from her back pocket. "Uh huh, 3254 from Boston, tonight at 8. Right. What? Lincolns already in town? Fucker didn't tell me. Yeah, yeah. Hold the fuck on," she said before looking over towards Caesar. "Don't know yet. I'll fucking text you. Well if you have to get a cab to the Brinne house then fucking get one. I'll fucking text you. Yeah, fuck you to," she said before hanging up.

Grimm, Indiana - Ramada Inn: The hallway was quiet. Inside the room was two standard full beds, a small dresser between them and a large dresser against the wall across from the beds with a TV on top of it and a remote for the TV next to the electronic. Over by the curtained window was a small table and two chairs. Nothing big but it would do. On the night stand between the beds was a phone, a box of tissues, a note pad and a pen. In the drawer was a Giddeon Bible. There was a lamp on the wall between the beds, by the TV and in the corner. A small bathroom was off to one side - nothing usual there. Just some small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and mouthwash.

The windows and curtain were closed and the room was hot. Apparently they hadn't turned on the wall AC unit since the room was not taken as of yet and they had just checked in. Simple dials to get the thing turned on, hot/cold - High/Low. There was a luggage stand across from the bathroom and a small closet with a laundry bag, iron, and some hangers one couldn't remove from the bar. On the back of the door was a map of the hotel, where the exits were, and a "you are here" red marker on the plastic cover. Yeah, your typical mid cost hotel room. Oh well, at least there were bed. Question though, how long since they had changed the sheets or if you looked at the room through a black light - would it look like a Jackson Pollock painting?

"It's not a big deal, i'm only here to put my sister to rest, and help you out with whatever cases you need here then i'm out of this town for good." Riley said, as she was about to open the door, when she felt a pain going to the back of her head she immediately thought that it was an over crazed fan. Or worse whoever made the call to her had made it's move, when she turned around it was just Pyira standing behind her. She instantly noticed the blood coming out of her nose, she quickly turned around and unlocked the door to their hotel room, and waved Pyira in. "Yes i'm fine, just hurry and sit on the bed!" Riley told her as soon as Pyira got in Riley spotted the box of tissues on the bedside table.

"Shit, uhm okay sit on the bed lean forward don't lean your head back unless you want to taste and swallow your own blood. I mean unless you want to be a vampire or something." Riley said, she had gotten into a lot of fights when she was in high school and ended up with a few bloody noses in the past. Riley grabbed a bunch of tissues. She handed them over to Pyira as she started to think running a hand through her hair, as she tried to think of something else to do. "Do you like, need to go to the hospital or something?" Riley asked, she wasn't sure what to do as she rubbed the back of her head a little bit.

"Or do you want me to call room service and get more tissues or something?" Riley asked, as she headed into the small bathroom and looked around before coming back in with one of the small towels, turning it on the sink with some warm water on it. "Breath through your mouth to." Riley suggested as she handed Pyira the small wet towel.

Robert Adler

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: Law

Robert had to agree on Adelaide's assesment of the case so far, after a brief deliberation with himself and "The little grey one". Caesar and Keystone had been adement that Wentworth wasn't to be trusted, and coupled with what Adelaide had said of her security firm, Robert had done some quiet thinking as he too began to ascend the stairs: If someone had managed to get through the high level of security that Adeliade used, that could mean Wentworth had done it themselves just to earn money if they really were losing in the business. But that didn't make much sense either. There were plenty of other easy ways for a security firm to earn a quick buck, while stealing an ancient book and selling it from one of your own clients was just too stupid to be worth it. Robert didn't trust what the Machete guys had said; it made little sense that Wentworth had anything to with it, and not MSS either. "Makes more sense that it was an outside person, really. Quite the egg-headed one, but neither of our guys."

Then Robert stopped short of bumping into Adelaide as he seemingly changed her mind, turning around and decided to go check that book the Brit had mentioned. With all this talk of anceitn texts, perhaps Robert could toy with the idea of becoming a librarian instead? Nah, he was stuck with his job for the rest of his life, so better stick to it. With Adelaide's permission to enter and dire warning not to touch anything, Robert chuckled and held his hands up. "Oh no, and here I was going to take every book apart and make paper squirrels with them. Nah dear, I know where to keep my fingers." Robert said back, shoving his hands into his back-pockets and following her into the room filled with books as old as time. Well not litterarly, but you got the point. "So, no other books that you've had trouble with before? Thing place looks secure enough."

Caesar & Keystone

Location: Chicago (Outside of Grimaldi Books)
Skills: N/A
Skills: N/A

It had occurred to Keystone in hindsight about Claire; she had mentioned that she was going to get something to eat for them all. He didn't remember at the moment that he suggested to his boss that they have a sit down and grab a meal before coming to any hasty decisions. It wasn't so much about the food, persay, as giving a break in the mood and a little time to process and regroup. Of course, the Irish bred Bostonian just happened to come a-bounding up with food in large amounts on standby. Hey, whatever worked.

Meanwhile, Caesar was trying to get a feel for the game plan for the rest of the day. It was his understanding that, their pointless and wasted detour to Grimaldi Books aside, they were supposed to be headed straight into Grimm, Indiana to effect an investigation into the background of certain persons responsible for the deaths of Alicia and Lorna, as well as try for clues concerning the underlying reasons for the drama they were all caught up within. From the conversation, Claire had apparently forgotten that she volunteered to join them for the long haul when she asked if she could "take off for the night". When he heard the reason why, he understood, but that time off might effectively remove her from the investigation. Considering things, Claire wasn't being forced to do anything and it was a respectable reason to ditch them, even if she was being amazingly casual and familiar with the corporation's owner.

As it turned out, being that he was the corporation's owner, he was the guy who ultimately made those decisions, or had the ability to alter these things to suit his schedule with greater influence than anyone else under his employ. Or he was supposed to be. And insomuch as he was beginning to believe that the Grimm investigation was turning into yet another colossal waste of his time and money, he didn't really have a lot to lose either way. This trip was just another example of things happening to or around them that were beyond any of their power to control despite otherwise ongoing preventative actions taken. Suffice it to say, Caesar was not in the best of moods. "It's not a problem." he said flatly. "Familia is important. I am glad to see that my employees have strong family bonds. Go ahead and take the night off. I will continue to Grimm."

The big Brit furrowed his brow, then leaned into Caesar to speak quietly, "Boss, isn't that the name of..."

Caesar was quick to stifle the question, "Yes it is." A steady gaze followed the sharply verbalized sentence. Of course he caught the name. Natasha Brinne was someone he briefly suspected might be involved and had a background check done on her after she had invited herself along to Alicia's funeral. During this trip, major computer shenanigans happened to a system that was supposed to be closed. Well, it didn't stop anything on his plane, and it didn't stop anything in his home, either. Or his company. In any case, Natasha was dead now. He could only assume murder, as that seemed to be the order of the day. Yet another death inflicted upon someone who had recently been in his presence, and/or had something to do with Alicia or himself in even a peripheral way. Considering everything, he would be foolish, even recklessly indifferent to human life were he to get involved in any of Claire's family matters, regardless of the coincidence involved. Death, death, death, super hackers, death, death, wanton and unstoppable theft, then yet more death.

Caesar handed his sack of food over to Keystone. "Not hungry. Plan stays as it is. You go back to Justice and get my family out of there. I continue to Grimm." He turned to Claire, "Miss McManus? Tell your friend in town that we'll give him a lift where he needs to go. After that you're off the hook. I'll be in the car." The elder Mexican shook his head and, as he mentioned he was going to, began walking back to the company vehicle.

Keystone sighed heavily. This was not the plan he was shooting for, either. Was the old man being overly cautious, or clearing the board to make room for horrible things he was prepared to do? He was pushing people away now, Keystone included. Something bad was going to happen, Caesar seemed to be trying to set a stage to that effect, while getting people he cared about far, far away from himself. But on the up side, more food! Life wasn't all bad that way.

Location: Airport Lounge --> Main Area Where Roy and Gavin Are
Skills: Deduction

Cecily was a bit confused at first - hadn't she heard Lincoln say that he hadn't told Natasha's best friend yet? Perhaps he didn't mean about her death - he could have meant he hadn't told him that he had landed in Chicago already. She wasn't able to pick up anything about Lincoln that would make her think that he was lying, but then he mentioned a security company with blade in the name - Machete Security Solutions she was pretty right. (Or was it Security Services?) She supposed it shouldn't have been surprising to know that MSS was in Chicago, but it was unnerving as well. All of the same players in Justice seemed to be here too.

"Alright, thank you," Cecily told Lincoln. She noticed the awkward mismatched couple of Gavin and Roy. Both of them looked like they were ready to go and since Lincoln had paid - and Cecily hadn't really gotten anything - she nodded and headed over to her companions. Could she trust Gavin? She wasn't too sure she could trust anyone but...he seemed to be nice. Was that enough for her to share information with? "What you said about Natasha matched what Lincoln told me," Cecily told Gavin softly.

"...Where to now, Roy?"

Priya cursed herself for being so distracted as she was led into the room. She didn't even get a chance to look around (which may have been a blessing considering the shape of the room itself). She sat on the bed as Riley fussed over her, handing her tissues. She delicately wiped the blood that had already poured out of her nose and used the rest to hold under her nose. She hated being doted on, but she was thankful Riley was there in that instance.

"No hospitals!" She wasn't scared of hospitals or anything. She didn't like them but what normal, sane person didn't? She didn't want to be holed up in a hospital, missing out on leads or work. "Just going to hold out until the bleeding stops. Will probably have a nice bruise too, but I should be fine." If worse came to worse, she would bite the bullet and get it checked out, but she didn't want to step away. Not for a second.

O'Hare International Airport: Lincoln headed out of the place and Gavin got his attention. The two men stepping away for a minute. Roy looked over towards Cecily and smiled a bit. "You and me are heading to Grimm," he said before Gavin came back.

"A'right little lady, I am going with lover boy over there to take care of the body and continue my job. You stay safe now ya here and here," he said fishing out a business card and handing it over to her. "You need anything, gives me a call. I hop on that shit like a fat kid on a cupcake. Take care now, ya hear?" he said before tipping his hat towards Gregory and waltzing off back towards Lincoln.

The two men walked off before Roy said anything. "That guys fucking strange," Roy said before shrugging. "Ready to get the hell out of here Rogue?" he asked as he motioned towards the front doors of the airport. "Because I say we get the fuck out of dodge while we can."

Grimaldi Books: Adelaide looked over and nodded a bit. "Yes, everything seems in order. It was only that one book and whomever took it didn't seem to disturb anything else. they seemed to have known exactly what they were after and where it was. Which lead me to believe it had to be someone who had been in here before. Granted no one had actually been down here to research that book but I don't change the layout here, everything is in order as it always has been since I originally set it up. Meticulous that way," she said as they entered and she closed the door behind her. Inside she pulled out her tablet and took a look at it. It would let her know if someone else came into the shop while she was down in the library vault.

Claire let out a sigh of relief and nodded. "Thanks boss," she said before watching him walk back to the car. Looking over at Keystone she grinned a bit. "He seems like a decent guy, kind of rough but good. Don't need to pick up my friend from the airport though. He's got a ride it seems with some dude from Texas, covering for his partner. Don't know, didn't get the details. It's my bro I gotta pick up, damn guy had a crush on the girl for the longest time but hey, it was bound to happen. Poor girl been fighting the big C for years," she said before finishing off her food and dumping the container in a near by trash can on the curb.

"So um, do I need to take you back to the airport?" she asked Keystone as she fished the keys out of her pocket.

Grimm, Indiana - Ramada Inn: Things are the same as they were in the last post. Save for one thing. Priya's nose gushes a little bit at first and it takes a bit but after laying back on the bed and keeping her head tilted back for a few minutes the bleeding eventually stops. It will be okay, the nose isn't totaled but she is right. It will have a nice bruise, and it is starting to show. A bit of clean up and some carefully done concealer should be able to cover the bruise up enough to where people won't stare as she passes.

Priya gets a text on her phone from her partner, Detective Gregory - it let's her know that he is at the airport and hopefully should be heading back to Grimm within the hour as long as things go smoothly. Should be back in town by around dinner time as well as long as they don't run into any issues.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Grimm, Indiana, Ramada Inn

"Alright then, no hospitals. Spent enough time in one the last two weeks anyway car accident and all that good stuff." Riley said softly as she looked at Pyira for a moment, they could head over and get their ride now and go to the station. "We should go get the car, and stop by at some store get some makeup. And then go back to the police station and get back to work. Unless you would want to look like Rudolf the purple nosed reindeer." Riley said with a slight smile, and then started to make sure that she had the keys to their hotel room. "I need a new set of clothes anyway to."

Riley had been in the same set of clothes for a few days now, and all of her clothes were back at her apartment in Justice as well, a part of her did wonder if any of her things were still okay back there as well as Cecily's. "Might want to take the box of tissues as well with you in case it starts bleeding again. I'll meet you at the elevator so take your time if you need it." Riley said, figuring that Pyira would want to get cleaned up a bit before heading on out again. She started to head out of the room and headed straight for the elevator, and leaned herself up against the wall close by shoving her hands into her pockets.

That would make sense. The theory that it could be someone who had visited Adelaide's book store before. People who knew what they were doing did proper snooping around their victims and hunting grounds, so why would this be different? They still didn't have a clear motive yet, not as far as Robert was able to think of the top of his head, but it was a start. Robert continued listening to his land-lady as she pointed out that everything was in order around her. She would know best, but a quick swipe with his eyes reaffirmed her motion. Nothing out of the ordiary for him stuck out, but then again at this point he was trying really hard. More than anything he was trying not to touch anything.

Robert followed Adelaide to where she seemingly had been storing a tablet, watching her as she pulled it up and going through what he could only assume was a list of her customers or something. He himself noticed a pair of white cotton gloves, deciding that it was for the best to take them on if he was sticking around that place. Now he was starting to feel like he was in CSI or something, quite possibly an old episode of Derrick, as he put the gloves on. Not that he was touching anything, as he still didn't see the value of owning a book that contained knowledge either disproven or irrelevant to the modern world lying around, much less stealing. The oldest book he had had the 'pleasure' of reading was an very old law-book from around the Civil War. That however posed him a few more questions to ask Adelaide.

"So let me ask you, since you're the expert of the two of us: Why do you think that old book was stolen, if not for money? What did you call it again? The Bibliotecia Pseduo Something? What's it even about? Must be some book if that's the only thing that was stolen."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Airport
Skills: N/A

Cecily recognized the name of the city instantly - it was where her roommate and potential future girlfriend(?) had grown up. It was also a bit hard to miss everything that had gone down there, given that she lived with Riley, one of the key players in the mess. She nodded, taking Gavin's card and she looked it over for a moment, before she put it in her pocket. As nice as he was, it made her feel a bit better that it was just her and Roy. A small part of her wanted to text Caesar and let him know that his company was tied up in this mess - about Natasha's death and everything... But she wasn't sure if she could. She had left with the medical examiner, after all.

"Yeah, let's go," Cecily told Roy, nodding. "...Who all is in Grimm right now?" she asked. She couldn't remember if she had already been told - everything was stressful and she was only just now starting to calm down after Natasha's death. The words Natasha had said before she died still bugged her. She still didn't know if it had been natural causes or not... If Natasha had been murdered because she was helping her...Or....Cecily just didn't know what to think or what to believe.

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Chicago (Grimaldi Books)
Skills: N/A

Though Caesar had every intention of getting into the company vehicle and getting the hell out of Chicago as quickly as was possible, considering the situation, it was simply not so. His feet seemed to move unbidden of his better judgement, performing a full U-turn and carrying him back in the direction of the building he had just exited. It surprised him about as much as anybody, especially after announcing his plans to write this detour off as a wasted hour of his life and move onto something that at least partly looked like it was attached to his daughter's death, but it was as if a force greater than his own sense of self-determination intervened, moving him with a will that was strong enough to gently push his actions to the contrary of his initial judgement; kismet perhaps, or fate, or merely the universe telling him that this event was a fixed point in time and could not be circumvented.

It was very possible that he was just bitter. Depressed at the remarkable turns of events that continually took from him, over and over and over without sense nor discernible reason whatsoever, of having his life's work penetrated at whim by parties unknown despite massive precautions put into place. Perhaps it was a sense of an overall lack of control of his own life, his own business, and the lack of security that was highly ironic, considering the business he was in. These facts may have contributed to him really, really wanting to ignore the mysteriously typed words that appeared in the Justice branch's Security Hub and later in his private plane. To hell with whomever decided to communicate with him in that manner.

But he couldn't just ignore the words altogether. It had to mean something, even if he had no clear idea of what he was even doing in this area of the country in the first place. This was all building to some purpose or event. Regardless of the continual insult and setbacks, he had to attempt to find out what that was. And so, Caesar found himself waving down Keystone as he passed, giving a quick message of, "Don't eat my food yet. Out in a minute." His voice was a low, gravelly sound that, while clear enough to understand, did sound preoccupied.

Once inside, Caesar pulled out his company sat phone and keyed up a corporate app for direct payment options. He authorized a quick, one time payment and punched in numbers appropriate to the last conversation he had with the proprietress, and then set it, screen down, in front of himself at the front counter. The idea of doing business in a place looked after by Wentworth made him definitely feel like this was a huge setup, start to finish; just another mistake culminating in yet another graphic and outstanding loss on his part, but what else was there to do? Like everything else, it felt like a trap. Well, one more to fall into, he supposed. All he needed was a number on the "receiving" end of the transaction, and they were in business.

God help them all.

J. Keystone

Location:
Chicago (Outside of Grimaldi Books)
Skills: N/A

Meanwhile, Keystone was left almost completely unsure as to what he was supposed to be doing. Was he going in as a bodyguard? Hanging back with the lady he thought might be his Chicago counterpart? Hopping back in the vehicle and giving it a solid wait until his boss (who he was beginning to think was on the verge of a breakdown with the way he kept changing his mind, complete with seesawing mood swings) decided to saunter back? Was he actually going to shell out the money after the decision he had just made? Whether or not the reputation of the business had taken a hit from the obviously setup murder at Queensguard's facility, flip-flopping like this definitely made them look weak. It was something that, strategically, he didn't want to portray. Blood in the water brought out the sharks.

Lacking a proper course of action, Keystone just stood near the car like a big, meaty goober, holding so much Chinese takeout that he couldn't even partake a little for himself. His gaze lingered on Caesar for an empty few seconds after he disappeared back into the doors of the establishment before giving Claire a response to her opinion of the old man thusfar in their acquaintance. "Aw yeah, tops sort of fella. Bloody prince, that'n. I'm just wishin' I knew what goes through 'is bloody head sometimes, is all." He shrugged, and started ambling in the direction of the car.

O'Hare International Airport: Roy lead her over to the car and popped the trunk so she could toss her things in the back. "Well I got a new partner. Well the captain says she is my partner but you're my partner. Woman's name is Priya Khurana and she is a new transfer from New York of all places," he said before unlocking the car itself and climbing it. It was a nice sport car that was for sure. Not your typical cop care. Granted it wasn't even marked as a cop car. It was a Mustang. Had it been a camero one might have thought they were crawling into Bumblebee.

"And Riley is there as well. We all flew out together. Figured it was better to bring her with considering all the shit going down in Grimm and with her having to bury her sister, have a guard on hand. The Sheriff is making sure they are okay while I am here to pick you up," he said. Once Cecily was in the car he started it up and pulled out of the airport parking, heading west first to Gary and then south to Grimm.

Grimaldi Books: Adelaide looked over to Robert and answered his line of questions. "Bibliotheca of Pseudo-Apollodorus," she corrected as far as the title went. "It is concise collection of Greek Myths and Heroic Legends. Consisting of three books, the second one is the one which was stolen. They date back around two thousand years and are looked at to be the most valuable mythographical work to come down form ancient times," she said as she slipped on a pair of white cotton gloves. "The Vatican has been trying to get their paws on them for some time."

Retrieving the two remaining volumes sighed a bit. Bringing the other two over to a table she set them down carefully. "They have a knack for collecting other religions works to keep them under wraps. Heaven forbid that the rest of the world know that Moses was not the first to deal with a flood of the world," she chuckled as she pulled up a chair and sat down. "Now why someone would steal just one and not all of them tells me it wasn't for money. The collection, while still worth a pretty penny per volume is worth far greater together. Volume two deals with mostly the tales of the Underworld."

There was a beep on her phone and she pulled it out, looking at it and quirking a brow. "Think the man had a change of heart. That or he is going to try to threaten me," she said as she pushed back from her chair and took a breath. Standing up once again she made her way out of the vault and up the stairs. Coming to the top of them she eyed Caesar. "Can I help you?" she asked in a flat tone.

Claire looked over at Keystone and took a few of the bags from him so he could eat as well now that she was done. "Shit man, somethings are better left unknown," she chuckled as she leaned against the car and looked towards the book store. "Good thing he has you though, hate to see how the man would be if he were left alone to his own devices. Strikes me as the type that could burn a city block without blinking an eye." Maybe Keystone leaving town wasn't the best idea after all.

Grimm, Indiana - Ramada Inn: The hallway was empty it seemed and the elevator wasn't opening the doors just yet. Things seemed quiet for the meantime. Down in the main part of the hotel the only one about was the desk clerk and she looked about as bored as one would figure in the middle of the day in a town with so few people about. It wasn't as if this town was large or was a tourist type of place.

Outside the sun was half obscured by a thick haze that seemed to go over the entire town. It was to be expected at this point as the fire had been put out from the plane crash but that caused a lot of smoke and with the winds not kicking up a lot it was just sort of lingering over the town. Not enough to be a bother or to cause breathing problems but enough to give everything a little haze to it if you were to look out in the distance a bit. Just enough to let you know something had happened and the smell of fuel hung in the air with it. With any luck by morning the smell and the haze would be gone.

Priya Khurana

Her nose hurt and it didn't seem to want to stop bleeding. Eventually, they used up a ton of tissues, but her nose stopped. She removed the tissue and took out her compact mirror to check the damage. She was right, she had a nasty bruise, but otherwise, she didn't need any hospital visit. Some make-up would cover it up well enough so she wouldn't bother with that now. She felt her phone vibrate and she took it out and read the message. Her partner would be returning it seemed. She sent off a quick reply. [i]"Great. Thanks for checking in. I'll fill you in once we meet up."

She took some more tissues and put them in her pocket before she collected what she needed and walked out the room to meet up with Riley. Once outside, she could smell and feel the lingering effects of the crash. Nothing major, but it was unsettling. She walked over to the elevator. Once she was down, she looked for Riley. "Hey, so yeah I have a bruise. I'll fix it later. Plus, it makes me look badass. Let's get going."
