As much as I watch the show why am I having confusion about the selection process between adventures and heroes lol. So they line up and just choose or is it that the king says who wants to go with Shield (goes with Shield) who wants to go with Sword so on and so forth?

As the show says, and as King Sanson said the heroes are lined up you choose one, and you stand behind them. The heroes have no real say who joins or not but can voluntarily send them away if not wanted.

You're not actually meant to be allowed to join the spear under the circumstances @Archangel89 I don't need a four more NPC's to play to drag Rin along everywhere we go as well. If you don't mind please choose one of the other three. If Rin comes along I have to play her, her bard, an archer I haven't sent with her yet, and I will also be playing Marcino as it is.

I guess it may be ill give the bow 2 more days before having his character killed and then resummoning the bow I was hoping to avoid that.

Yeah, the heroes were kinda treated as a package. Hence they couldn't just really take out the Shield Hero even if they wanted to.

@RC3neither would solve the issue the current bow needs to die or be replaced for plot sake.

Seeing how early it still was is, you could probably just do a small retcon in this case.
