Ivy frowns. "I was scared, Jacob. I just lost one of my closest friends, and a guy waltzes in and claims that the guy that broke another one of my closest friends was a doppelganger, and then my friend starts to cut herself again, making herself bleed out, and then Arthur comes in and accuses everyone of being an enemy. You were so happy when you saw him, I was worried that, maybe he wasn't who or what he claimed, and that he'd hurt you. I'm sorry, I know it's no excuse for my behavior. I'll talk to him."

Ivy kisses Jacob back, and grins. "Well of course I do, your my boyfriend aren't you? I don't just pass out 'I love you's like cookies." When she hears Arthur, she blushes. "That's good. I hope we could hang out and get to know each other sometime," she smiles at Arthur. "But if we never get that chance I know we have one thing in common." She kisses Jacob's cheek, then turns her back to him to work on a dish.

Ivy dusts her hands off, then frowns when she sees Arthur gone, then shrugs. "I wondered how much romance he could stomach," she teases. "It's missing something, isn't it? Wait I got it!" She snaps once excitedly, and spins her finger towards him. "Turn around. You can't see my secret ingredient. Oh and take this," she hands him a clothespin to plug his nose with.
