By the way, just a thing... I'm going to leave most of the details of Cynthia's past up to @Mae, things like... was she a man or a woman before? What was her name before the change? And does she have any family left, if so, who are they? Would they recognize her?

The reason for this is because she kinda... forgot a lot about her previous life, and I'd like the reveals to be a surprise, even to me, lol.

@Lugia( That's pretty cool, I'll start working something out ;D )

As the group sizes each other up, a haunting howl rips through the air. Emerging from the treeline, two bloody eyes stare at you from above a skinless jaws, long gnarled fangs holding back a bestial snarl. The canine lunges towards you from the forest edge, bones jutting out of mangey furs at odd angles. It's lopsided gait doesn't stop it from covering the ground to the road and launching itself at Flint the Farmhand with a savage bite.

Flint silently screams as the creature rips into his chest and takes a bloody chunk out of him.

@Duthguy It's Dan's turn. The beast is beside him. What does he do?

@Duthguy The distorted creature jumps back with a snarl, and Dan just misses hitting it.

@ShovelNatters and Flint withdraw as Tendo steps forward. He looks nervously to Buford, hesitates, and then hits the feral beast with his stick. It connects over the creature's skull, and the crushing blow cripples it. The corpse twitches suddenly, and then rests. Tendo looks surprised.

Irene pokes it with her foot. "That ain't normal no sir. These woods be gettin dangerous alright."

@Lugia yeah, since this is a forum game though it's unclear if people have moved onto other things from this.

Would you and @Duthguy and anyone else who's still lurking be interested if I moved it to the Free or 1x1x1 section? I'm still very much interested in running itn and I'm slowly getting the hang of bits and pieces.
