You don't have to be super specific but if you are I'm gonna monitor it to make sure you don't magically have 250 platinum in your pocket just out of the blue

I've decided to use the Equipment slots to mention the larger items that my character travels with, since she's a side character and not a member of the Sunrunner guild. We're working on making a semi-nomadic blacksmith duo; the sort you see in RPGs that only stay in settlements for a set period of time and travel in a cycle around different towns, sometimes selling different wares. Is that a suitable concept that doesn't infringe too much on Sunrunner territory?

Hi! I've been curious with this RP for a good minute and I'd like to join.

I have a few character ideas - at least 2 being human (A dark-magic sorceress, and a Mercenary/ex-guardsman), 1 fae (Magic utilizer), and a dwarf (Inventor/weapon-tinkerer) that I need to choose.

I've also been diving into the tomb of other potential races that might work well in a desert environment (unless only the three selected are valid) but allow me to at least suggest one.

One such race could be within a sub-group of fae - or part of an overlapping animal/anthro-based race - where there could be a tribe of lizardman/draco/reptilian-based entities. Perhaps these lizardmen too are also tribal but more barbaric in their practices. There may be tribes who attempt to be the exception to the rule, but generally these creatures are both feared and respected by the inhabitants.

And maybe there could be a sub-species of lizardman that resemble more like crocodiles, those who live by rivers and large body of waters, where they could also represent a tribe that just wants to be left alone.

What do you think of this as a fair addition to the world?

Heyo. I'm an idiot with too much time on his hands, and I wouldn't mind playing a side character(s) if you're open to having me do that. If the Sunrunner Guild has an in-house doctor for those people who keep getting themselves injured, for example, I wouldn't mind doing that in particular. Please do feel free to turn me down if the thread is already too busy, however.

Sounds like a sub species of gleekon though perhaps more intelligent. I'm fine with that to be honest but any sort of lizardmen are gonna cause a stir when and if the group goes into cities

I'm open to allowing a healer character if you want to be part of the main grouo. I'm pretty flexible on the numbers to be honest so long as you are bringing something to the table

Gleekon are a reptilian race of tribal raiders. Gleekon can range in size and shape from one another similarly to humans but gleekon are always reptilian humanoids and always ill-tempered. Many aren’t very intelligent and those that are intelligent often become tribal chiefs, though usually through brute strength rather then intelligence. These tribes can range in size from a few hundred gleekon to tens of thousands. These tribes often wander the deserts and wage war with the dwarves more often than not. The dwarves and humans particularly hate the gleekon as they often disrupt established trade routes and can cripple cities for weeks if not months. It isn’t known roughly how long gleekon live due in large part to the gleekon often dying from killing one another or from the constant wars they wage.

@LordOfTheNight Jesus, I must be blind for not seeing that.

Thanks for letting me know of this. I'll consider maybe making the crocodile race as a more neutral-based tribe. Again, they don't want to do with either side - they just want to be alone. If I wanted to make a side character regarding them, I'll make one who's less of an isolationist and wants to interact with other races.

Sounds like a plan! As far as side characters go, just make sure they aren't centralized to one location or else you may be waiting awhile to get included with the main group
