Just took a peek at that CS, and holy shit. BTF "euthanizing" people sounds unethical as fuck. Here's hoping their leadership ended up dumped on a Pluto prison-camp or something.

Halim: What are you talking about? The BTF are wonderful and so generous! They even provide Kool-Aid. Atleast I think they do. People keep saying I've drank it so I guess it has to be!

On another note, might be tomorrow before I get a post up. Work and homework coming first and all.

They're definitely sketchy. I wouldn't be surprised if the Outer Orbital Legion and the BTF are in league with each other, or have at least worked together at some point.

That was quick. And also a little bit wholesome. Halim is definitely the team rookie now, heh.

Tangentially related, but Castle and Halim seem to have very similar dialogue colors. I won't ask you to change it, since it's really not a big deal (and it's a very nice color, so I can understand using it), but it's something I felt like I needed to point out regardless.

Nah its good. I'll look into changing it and doing the edits tomorrow after work. It'll help to make any dialog they have a little clearer so its worth the effort.

So I was wondering... with each character coming from different backgrounds (some are from the military, some are mercenaries, some are unaffiliated)... I wanted to ask if there's a galactic standard for identification over comms? I've mostly been using callsigns when referring to myself (Castle, in this case), and family names for everyone else, but should I be using Orbital Designations? Model numbers? A mix?

Here's where we run into personal preference, mostly. It's the flip side of making it broad enough that people can make up whatever background they want.

The simplest answer is that any of the above are fine, depending on how you think Holden would handle it. When we start getting real combat I'll introduce a very loose guideline in-character for it, but even that is really going to come down to how you all want to handle it.

as far as i can tell we're organized pretty much like spartans from halo, orbital pilot being recognized as both a position and a rank (officer or so?) aboard the ship, and we answer to the COO or the captain directly.

krayz is probably gonna correct me but that's how i've been operating so far.
