Based on your description, Kass would be considered a dragon shifter. Dragons only have the one form of dragon.
You can feel free to flesh her out if you would like(:

Thank you. I will make some adjustments and send it to you via PM if that's alright.

Yeah, that would be cool! :)

I'll probably go for either a human or an elf. Still gathering ideas.

Sure!

I had a question about races though- if Elves are inherently magical, and humans are inherently non-magical, where do half elves sit? If there is a such thing as half elves. I'm toying with the idea of a sort of semi-magical pit fighter. Less shooting fireballs and more like elementally enhanced punches, short range telekinetic/elemental fists, and the like.

I was also playing with the idea of a sort of arcane archer- lightning bolt arrows anyone?

I haven't finished with either of their backgrounds, honestly.

I can say for almost certain a half elf/human would not be likely to happen. And if it did, the parents and the kid would be outcasts. And to elves, family and culture is everything, so to be outcast would be to basically die to who they are.
Humans are...very fearful. They don't trust the other races...at all; with the possible exception to the dragons since they have proven to be protectors. But with elves, dwarves, and especially shifters, they keep themselves separate. They are led by fear of the unknown. Yes, there are a lot of good humans who see the good in everyone. What modern day people would call "humanitarian." People who go out and fight for what's right, equality, all that good stuff. (I am one of those, by the way.) They may even be the majority, but they are still fearful of the unknown and their first instinct is to shoot first, ask questions later. If a human were to have a kid with another race, they would be socially outcast, and possibly kicked out and disowned by their family.

Now, if it were to happen, then yes, magic could be present. But to a very limited extent. I'm talking less than half the normal magical ability a full elf would have. And they would have a hard time controlling it for a long time. The elemental punches would not be enough to knock a person across the room, but it would give them an edge up. Does that make sense?

alright guys! we need a guide and another CO, and then I'll close signups. When that happens, and all characters have been approved, I will open the IC.

On that note, would anyone like to work with me and be the guide for this roleplay? He/She/They would only be a very minor character, though important.

Gotcha gotcha no problemo then. So it looks like my choice of race is set pretty definitely on an elf then? Or maybe I could be a human with some magical doodads idk. And yeah the punches aren't meant to be that powerful, its more of a way for him to deal with tougher/armored enemies since he's using a fist instead of an actual weapon, and at most a bit of extra reach, like a burst of flame that extends a few feet past his fists and the like.

Hey guys, I've updated the Humans on the Races section. I'm working on the Dwarves, I just don't know much about them in general, so I need to do some research before I dive into it. They are all still a work in progress.

Here's my CS: The Summoner: A Wolf Shifter, Za'vunhul, more commonly known as the Howler, is a Wolf Shifter and a Summoner mage.

Age: 112

Gender:Male

Elven Appearance: pure white hair, and sky blue eyes. He would wear a grey wolf-fur robe, covering his body. A scar running from his left eyebrow to his nose is visible on his face.

Wolf Appearance: His head is white, and rest of fur is grey. His scar can still be seen in his wolf form. He is a humanoid wolf that walks on his hind legs.

Race: Half- Elf, Half-Dwarf. His mother was an elf, and his father was a Dwarf shifter.

Personality: Mysterious, cocky, and sarcastic.
Strengths: He can summon a pack of wolves if he is uninjured and focused, but it can only attack an enemy once, and only stays for 10 minutes, and it takes him 5 days to build up enough mana to summon another pack. He is quite slow when running, but has large stamina. He also is strategic, and what he lacks in close-up attacks, he makes up for in ranged attacks.

Flaws: It's hard for other people to earn his trust, and he only joined the quest to prevent more destruction. He also is a bit cocky and believes he can go into any battle and win, though in actuality, it's far from the truth. He also is slow in his attacks. One of his legs is shorter than the other, which is why he's not good at running from enemies or battling them at close range. In an explosion, he lost the skin on his left hand and the organic parts never grew back, so he replaced it with a metal hand crafted out of a steel and copper alloy. When he is in wolf form, his top left paw is covered by metal. Also, if he stays in his wolf form for over 50 minutes, he is stuck in it until the next full moon.

Here's my CS: The Summoner: A Wolf Shifter (tell me if I should change this to dwarf and not wolf shifter) Za'vunhul, more commonly known as the Howler, is a Wolf Shifter and a Summoner mage. Gender: Male. Elven Appearance: pure white hair, and sky blue eyes. He would wear a grey wolf-fur robe, covering his body. A scar running from his left eyebrow to his nose is visible on his face. History: Born to the ancient race of Uulfrs, talking humanoid wolves, which are now scattered due to the Great War. He has the ability to shift from a wolf to a human. Wanting to be able to protect, he learned Summoning magic and used that to fend off attackers. While he mostly summons wolves to attack enemies, his abilities are not limited by that and can summon any animal that is related or is a canine. Personality: Mysterious, cocky, and sarcastic. Wolf Appearance: His head is white, and rest of fur is grey. His scar can still be seen in his wolf form. He is a humanoid wolf that walks on his hind legs. Strengths: He can summon a full pack of wolves at the peak of his power, and is very fast and agile, and has large stamina. He also is strategic, and what he lacks in close-up attacks, he makes up for in ranged attacks and intelligence. Flaws: It's hard for other people to earn his trust, and he only joined the quest to prevent more destruction. He also is a bit cocky and believes he can go into any battle and win, though in actuality, it's far from the truth.

You need some physical weaknesses to balance out the strengths.
I would like a little more fleshed out and organization.

Okay. I said he's no good with close melee, but I can come up with some physical weaknesses and organize it better.

Okay, the thing with magic. You have to be balanced. Magic always comes with a cost. My elf shifters is exhaustion to the point of death if she doesn’t rest. Another player is potentially looking at burning themself when they use their fire magic. Your player is severely unbalanced. Physical strengths and weaknesses mis balance each other in severity.
