@Kenshi Not only has Dee already been appriteced and is a guild associate, she owns a tinker shop out of her late master/father's former worshop. Becoming an apprentice wouldn't make sense nor would be appropriate. Plus.... Dee is incredibly competitive

I asked Kenshi if he would change character due to similar themes with Dreeda and Thel'drak, however it is difficult for him to make a character on tablet and he decided to bow out.

well then folks, the IC is underway. Veterans may notice that the IC starts a touch further on then previously, and you can't escape the inevitable fate of the main questline :(

Also, the Swampmuck Spring Festival shall start tomorrow (in game wise) giving you a chance to cause havoc get settled in.

Our mysterious dwarf friend is happy to answer any questions your characters likely have, let me know if you want to roll any skills on him (or generally).

I have a couple initial quests lined up to let you lose, the first 2 GM posts may be a little railroady I reckon but which quests you pick and what you do beyond that is entirely up to you. I'll cover the wands themselves in more detail a little later once it becomes more relevant.

Was there really no better way to go about this than railroading us right out of the gate? I be hard pressed to find something to put me off a game faster than that.

@rush99999 true, I love an open game though so I always feel a little weird at the start.

Arguably you could throw your players in media res into a combat or a castle getting raided and see how they deal with it... actually, i think that's how hoard of the dragon queen kind of starts? but on the outside of the castle.

It's not you dropping us right into the story that I take issue with. My problem stems from the fact that you made our characters to things. By all means, you can have the NPCs. But keep your chicken fantasies and blood ink nonsense away from Bartholomew thank you very much.

I mean, ultimately, Mae is the GM. Most games I've been in, both online and in person has the gm taking control at first. That way they can set things up to fit the game best

In all seriousness you can ignore the internal monologuing that doesn't suit your character. I'll be playing up how backwater Swampmuck is at every opportunity for flavour ;D

@Dark Cloud excellent! looks like this show is on the road

@Necroes +wis if Einkil's using it inappropriately to stir a pot or something, +int if he's genuinely trying his best to be magical. Technically with magic missile you're supposed to have a target, but I like this way better.
