Is not a thing Redwallers are known for saying... Seriously, like, occasionally they could have considered it at least once... Anywhoodle, given as Marigold has not been to Redwall yet, chances are exceedingly good that Rigby doesn't know her. lol He'll be quite happy to shake her paw and invite her back to the Abbey when they do meet, though. :)

@Nemaisare That I'm sure he will. The real question would be if he would still even if she accidently thought he was vermin and shot an arrow. :)

Part of the fun of Marigold will be to have that character that's new to Redwall and what it is. While I love Matthias and other Redwall beasts, I've also had a fondness for the ones that don't start out in Redwall. Like Mariel, the girl that had the bellrope for a weapon. Or Triss, the one that escaped from the evil ferret empire.

@CyraniaAbsolutely, it's an honest mistake anyone could make! Of course, he'd still be happy to chat (probably even more so because hey, at least she isn't an actual enemy... >.>) I'm not sure what he'd do if she hit any one of them, but I'm sure he'd still forgive her pretty quickly.

I like both sorts of characters. It's fun to see Redwall through both perspectives. I'm looking forward to writing Rigby just because I'm usually playing the characters that are new to whatever setting is happening, be fun to be the naively enthusiastic little mouse companion who'll get to regale Marigold with wishful thinking about how he wishes he could be eating the friar's sweet raspberry scones or cheesy mushroom flans. And how everyone would be gathering in Cavern Hole on a rainy day like this (obviously on a rainy day), singing songs and playing games together.

@Nemaisare Glad he would be so forgiving. XD. Marigold would likely feel bad for quite some time, even if she didn't act like it.

Both types definitely do have their pros to them. Marigold would likely think all the remembrances are silly nonsense then start thinking of her own memories, when she was young.

Haha, well I'm almost done the prologue portion and then I'll be moving onto launching the IC proper, just want to review the sheets again to get a feel for the antagonists already mentioned and see what I can work in.

EDIT: Prologue is now added to the Zeroth Post of the IC. Working on the true opener now.

EDIT II: First true IC post is up. I've made references to two of your characters and gotten the ball going on our first plot line. Bancroft post to come in a bit, but for now the IC is open to all accepted players.

At this point in time I'm really racking my brain on how to immediately include Marigold with her outside the Abbey.

@Lord Wraith Sorry about that.

Maybe have a side story for a bit where she's dealing with vermin at her doorstep and finds she has to either hold or ground or retreat? Or she overhears some scouts saying things that get her following after the horse? Or she gets captured, then has to refree herself before meeting with the rest...

I'm fixing to get me through a post right now.

@CyraniaI don't think the conch shell is blowing currently. Unless I've missed my guess, we're writing a flashback that was introduced by the prologue.
