First Post is live! Shaman King: Darkstars

Excellent. Is there any particular character sheet style you are looking for, or any information besides the obvious that you want included in a character sheet? And with no posts in the OOC tab, I wanted to make sure it was alright to post there.

Outside of the basic information… I’ll want to know who your guardian ghost is, what your medium/over soul is, and how skilled you are with it. Since most of the characters are already shamans, I’ll grant you one Over Soul V2 (I.e. Yoh’a second Amidamaru Over Soul) if you have one ghost, or two standard over souls of you want two ghosts. I already have a character of my own I’m putting in who is Native American so I’m just gonna snatch that up now.

Well he’s not a member of the Patch Tribe if you still wanna go that route, but that’s just semantics at this point.

@TheNoCoKid Any restrictions on the kind of spirits our characters can have? Aside from normal ghosts there are also Sacred spirits, that have been around long enough to have become stronger, and Kami-class spirits like the ones Jeanne and the guys from Gandhara had.

@King Cosmos Right now, I’d say to avoid using Kami-class spirits to keep people from making overly broken characters (I know that a Kami-class spirit doesn’t guarantee a win, but it’s still really strong in cases like Shamash). I’d probably cap it at Seirei spirits with the option to upgrade them to Kami, or bond with a Kami spirit at some point during the rp. How’s that?

If you want to keep that idea, you could go the Ryu angle where your character is inspired by the Prometheus story and created a Prometheus over soul? (Like Ryu did with the Yamata no orochi)

I'm working on something. It's slow going because I have a lot of stuff I want to research (turns out that the time period for this RP is actually pretty relevant to the shamanistic practices of the culture my character is from), but it is in progress.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised since the Shaman Profiles in the manga provides a fairly simple and easy template.

Just throwing that out there for folks who will be able to do this sooner than I can (single dad with a full time job; time is a luxury)

To everyone in the thread. If you haven’t posted yet, @BenG85 did a pretty solid character sheet for you to follow. Here’s the basics:

Character name:
Age:
Faceclaim (Optional)

Star Sign:
Blood Type:

Spirit Ally (or allies, max of 2):
Oversoul(s):

Background: (If you can, please do at least a paragraph and provide some information on how this character is affiliated/how they joined the Darkstars)
