I have been a little more focused on improving my writing and storytelling skills over time (And to be honest, they still could use some improvement).

Can the starter shortsword be reskinned as another weapon?

Yes, I'm actually going to change the starter kit to:

One-handed weapon (Might)

One-Handed weapon (Finess)

Universal Wand (Magic)

ALSO! I'm working on the spell system, l borrowing some from the open source Warrior, Rogue, Mage system. Once I figure out how it'll work, I'll be giving everyone a one time free spell.

It is highly recommended that you have at the very least a d6 in Magic or a magic aiding item for even the most basic spell, there will be spell failure checks

@Cao the Exiled May I take a different thing instead of a spell? Possibly a trait? If so to balance things a negative and positive trait? I'd rather Kender not immediately know magic.

No, these are two separate things. Could see a trait that combines the two. I'm thinking at some level, players will be offered a special trait that's Class like but cannot be transfered if the character dies.

@Cao the Exiled I was thinking, of a trait that gives Kender additional dice when trying to pick a lock or disable traps (something like that)
