There are many reasons dragons mark Shadows. You may have to mark a Shadow because you got physically hurt

Would being hurt mentally or emotionally also call for making Shadows?


Also, on the subject of trauma, let me share with you this gem I got when messing around with the Incorrect Quote Generator a while ago. I got a few, but this was probably my favourite:

Fellwing: We call that a traumatic experience.
Fellwing, turning to Shieldwing: Not a "bruh moment".
Fellwing, turning to Stargaze: Not "sadge".
Fellwing, turning to Skobeloff: And DEFINITELY not an "oof LMAO".

Tamba: What if people had food names and food had people names?
Fogdance: Hey, spaghetti, we’re having Tamba for dinner.
Pleexem: What is wrong with you people?
Skobeloff: Shut up, chocolate.

Yes. In fact, you guys can choose to mark Shadows any point if you feel it would be appropriate storywise.

I just tried the Incorrect Quote generator, and this is definitely scarily accurate.

Given how he has managed to get his claws on a couple of magical items throughout chapter 1 alone, I can definitely see Skobeloff getting access to an army of raccoons. Heck, given his knowledge of fae, I can even see them being an army of tanuki.

Given how he has managed to get his claws on a couple of magical items throughout chapter 1 alone, I can definitely see Skobeloff getting access to an army of raccoons. Heck, given his knowledge of fae, I can even see them being an army of tanuki.


Seeing how one of the upgrades the Long Game has would allow Skobeloff to summon allies, this happening is simply a question of whether I want it now or when Skobeloff becomes a winged drake.

Heheh, it's funny that just a +1 in Charm would have given him the edge he needed to at least gleam something, though. Glad to see my dice rolls are just as poor now as they always have been~ xP

Haha, but yeah, s'all good, it happens. Just kinda realized we're four pages into the RP and Shieldwing hasn't really rolled any dice yet~

Wanted an answer to this before posting, preferably! Shieldwing seems to know at least, but he is also probably closer with Stargaze than Fellwing is, considering the history.

Oop, sorry. Completely missed your question first time round ^^;

I think it would have been brought up, at some point. Fellwing's likely heard about Stonescale from her clutchmates and probably even seen him a couple of times. It's up to you whether or not Fellwing herself has ever been a target of his bullying. Either way, she's probably seen Kyte in proximity to Stonescale in the past.

Oh wow somehow I missed that question too.

I will point out that Fellwing has definitely seen Stonescale's bullying before simply because that's one of the reasons you have a friendship gem from Shieldwing! An encounter with Stonescale is what put Shieldwing in his "most vulnerable" position and Fell would have been there to see it and then helped him through it. Since you would have seen that, I have no doubt that Fellwing probably would have seen Kyte there as well in all likelihood.
