Posted! I figured that since I honestly didn't have many thieves left to work with, I'd focus mostly on sharing Kerensa's perspective of the breach and how the other squads were handling it from her view. Hope I did the Lions and the Bats right.

As for Alison, I think the poor woman may have bitten off a bit more than she could chew lol.

The whole post was great and you really nailed it with The Bats. Always feel free to use them or anything else I make, I am glad you felt comfortable with using them, really loved the post.

I thought I would post here instead of the usual 2 Group PMs so that any replies to this message will be to all and be seen by all.

I'M ENDING THE RP!

During this last break, I started doing other things that made me realize that I've been neglecting other parts of my life a little, in order to be prepped every week for this story and plan the road ahead. It takes a suprising amount of time and energy to be a GM and when you have a wife, kids and a full time job, it leaves very little time for anything else!

Don't get me wrong: I have loved our 2+ years together and we've created something amazing. I wish I could carry on and just shift around the priorities, but I know that the quality from me will fall off if I do that, and I would prefer to 'go out on top' rather than go too long and end on a low note.

Thank you all so much for your time and commitment. Every week, everyone showed up ad wrote their asses off! I appreciate you all and enjoyed every post.

I will remember you all. Good luck in life and never stop being you!

@xenon that is unfortunate. That said, I understand why you're doing this; real life is more important than RP and I wouldn't want you to neglect the former. This has been a lot of fun to write and I wish you all the best with your life.

I had a feeling that this was coming. I respect your decision and I am so grateful to you for giving us your best for almost three years.

I still remember telling you, on discord, about the MacKensie character I made and how I only got ten posts into the RP and it stopped, and how I was so gutted that I never got to explore a potentially good character. And then I asked you, "ya know, you're a good GM riiiiiiggghttt? xD Would be awesome if you made an Isekai RP so I could play the character I never got to try."

You said to give you a couple of weeks to learn what an Isekai is and scrape together a quick worldbuild. And you delivered xD

Thank you so much and thank you to everyone for being such fantastic and committed writers. This was easily one of the best RPs I've ever been a part of. Thank you and best of luck in life!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the RP has ended, I guess I'll share some things that never got revealed in it:

-The plan was for Adam to destroy the bridge, thus covering the retreat. It was going to be a great scene, with some stuff I wrote and some stuff xenon was going to add to it.
-There was a whole piece of world building that never got revealed. The acid bomb plant was going to originate in the Crystal Islands, a massive archipelago of islands. I wrote a little lore about it in case it ever was relevant. There was also another plant I thought of that was like a coconut tree, except the water in the coconuts was poisonous. I hinted at it once or twice, if you feel like digging through the posts :P
-Second Chance was going to be arrested after the battle (post RP spoilers I guess lol); Adam specifically was going to be arrested at the orphanage. It was going to be a whole post consisting of Adam talking to Isabella and Eren, then the guards rudely arresting Adam. He would ask Eren to ask Areleth for help, leading to the orphanage people going to Capital City where Second Chance would be.
-Michael Fern was going to be revealed as the one who saved Adam's life when the latter almost killed himself while learning how to create the acid bomb. I hinted at that also; this one was more recent than the last one :P

There might be other things also - I can't think of them now though. This was a fun RP and I'm glad to have been a part of it.

Well, this was the first forum RPG I fully committed to and participated in both here on the Guild and in general. You guys were incredibly welcoming and nice to me, and I couldn't have asked for a better group to be my first to play with. It's a shame it ended as it did, but I had a lot of fun. Interacting with everyone's characters, the back and forth with you, the GM. It was all great.

shit xenon smh literally a month ago we were talking about family n stuff, with me getting ready to be a dad in a few months. I was gonna try to stay with the RP but I see you made a different choice. Good on you, bro. I rate your decision tbh

That being said, I am sad to see this story end. It's easily been one of the best RPs I've done. Everyone has been a blast to write with, Zell was definitely a worthy addition to the roster of characters I've done over the years. And Xenon is the best GM ever. Top notch at freestyle and planning both.
