Becoming a vampire has drastically changed Edwardβs life. He is thrust into the dangerous life of a vampire. He tries to keep his head down and avoid getting himself into trouble. However, he has found friends happy enough to discuss various subjects for many hours. He feels appreciated for once in his life for his almost endless knowledge on multiple subjects.
During combat, Edward usually cowers underneath or behind something. Fighting was never his strong suit. He will try to talk his way out of a fight. Most of the time, he says something offensive, which gets him into a lot of trouble. But most of the time, he will just run away. In the intellectual circle, he has found his place among like-minded people. He would occasionally be asked to give his opinion on ancient artifacts or vampiric lore.

As a human, Edward was born into a very dull, middle-class life, living with his parents and older brother in Rhode Island. Edward was timid and reserved as a young boy and into adulthood. He had no friends and found solace in reading about ancient civilizations and the occult. At a young age, he seemed quite perceptive of the supernatural, believing he had seen supernatural creatures or UFOs while wandering around the area. His obsession with the supernatural followed him into adulthood.
As an adult, he pursued a career as a historian and linguist. A career choice that seemed to disappoint his mother and father. But his brother was much more supportive of his career path. While at the University of Rhode Island, he would take classes and study for tests. Eventually, graduating but could not find good jobs in Boston and Maine. And after a couple of months of working odd jobs, he found a position at a well-known museum in Riverside, California.
Although he didnβt like the sunny and hot weather and would rather work in his beloved Providence, he was glad to have a job. He enjoyed his career and all of the history he could learn about. His life was turning around, and it seemed to give him hope for the future. However, his life changed one night when he was at a bar. He was approached by a stranger who seemed quite strange, but they seemed to have a wealth of knowledge. The two had a conversation that seemed to last for hours. The stranger asked if they would like to go back to his home. Edward was too excited to consider the danger of the situation. He never had someone take an interest in him. Going back to their place, they continued their conversation. Getting quite drunk, not knowing that the stranger was not having anything. And when he noticed it was too late, he wanted to excuse himself to return home. But the stranger moved in close hugging him, feeling a sharp pain in his neck.
A few hours later, he felt quite disoriented in his apartment, with his sire inducting him into vampire society.

Edward usually keeps to himself, not wanting to involve himself in the politics of vampire society. He spends most of his time working, learning various historical facts, studying artifacts, and learning different languages. He obsessively keeps track of all of his findings in notebooks. He constantly has a pen and notepad ready. He is always willing to help if someone wants to learn about history or the occult. He is always on the lookout for artifacts and fetishes of the occult. On the subject of consuming blood, Edward prefers drinking from a blood bag rather than from a living being.

Weirdo
Edward is an odd fellow with quirks and habits that could be off-putting to others. He has strange obsessions with certain things and subjects, such as the occult, lamps, ancient history/languages, stop signs, and cryptozoology. His OCD/Autism symptoms as a human have been exacerbated ever since becoming a vampire. He is a man who is hard to please and even harder to deal with.
His mood swings from very happy to deeply depressed, making him quite unreliable in relationships. He is mostly very quiet and reserved, keeping to himself. He only starts a conversation when he finds someone interesting to speak to. Edward dislikes loud noises or being overstimulated. And can become easily stressed. He becomes hyperfocused on certain things, causing him to act irrationally.
