Silverwind is a vulpine-looking canuss. His coloration mostly matches that of a red fox. He has grey creeping in around his muzzle and through the thick, brown hair atop his head, and his fur is growing more shaggy and unruly with age.
While he is not especially tall, topping out at 5' 5" (not including his ears), he has quite the 'presence' of personality and appearance, not least due to the scars he carries on the left of his muzzle, the chunk missing from his ear on the same side, and the patch covering his missing left eye, hints of a scar showing from beneath it. This is all also completed by the cybernetic replacement left arm, made of black-and-white plastics and composites. His remaining eye is a warm, deep brown.

Silverwind carries himself with military bearing and experience, and this is reflected in his practical military-style clothing at all times; BDU-style pants, boots, and practical T-Shirts, often accompanied by a flight jacket.

His voice - despite being from Canuss, and not at all Earth or the United States especially - has a rough and gruff tone to it, and an accent somewhat resembling a 'southern drawl' from the Southern US states.

Personality:
Silverwind often comes across as gruff and closed-off when first meeting him, but it is simply a case that he has a combination of awkwardness with small talk, and of not believing in 'wasted words'. He does, in truth, have quite a depth of feeling and character, but it takes a while to crack this hard exterior, and find the warmth of the person below. Though, it is often expressed in smaller gestures and actions towards those he has a fondness for.
He has had a difficult life. His early years was pleasant, but it quickly changed as the Totality came to Canuss. At first, the war was something that happened far away, but it quickly grew to take over the world and his life along with it. He lost friends, family and lovers to the Totality and the war that came with them, and fighting them became his life - and it turned out, he was an excellent soldier. But he can't help but think what else he could have been, given the chance to have a different kind of life.
Given his experience, he has little patience for ignorance, wilful stupidity or other such distractions. Mindgames and manipulation or other kinds of messing with people and their lives or emotions will result in scathing disregard and utter contempt for said person, and even violent retribution if it leads to others - especially if they are loved ones or innocents - coming to harm.
Silverwind is definitely more on the side of morality and justice. He very much tends to stand up for those who are unable to protect themselves, or are downtrodden and oppressed, and will always fight against anyone who forces their will on others.
He has quite a sense of humour, although it definitely skews more toward the acerbic, sarcastic, ironic and quick-witted or smart-mouthed than the kind of 'goofy' or 'obscure' and outlandish humour.

History:
  • Born in remote town of Northhome in Western Continent of Canuss
  • Grew up during early years of Totality invasion
  • Enlisted in military as soon as old enough; passed training with ease

Special Abilities:
Despite missing his left eye, Silverwind still has exceptional spatial awareness and perception. His depth perception seems only minimally affected, and he is still able to pilot aircraft and use weapon systems with few disadvantages.
His age is likewise seeming not to slow him down as much as would be expected. If anything, his ageing seems to be slowing down. His reaction times and sensory perception have dulled somewhat, but not to the extent one would expect for his age, and his injuries.
His health - other than effects from lasting injuries, such as recurring aches and stiffness - is in excellent condition otherwise - despite being a regular drinker and smoker.
He of course has a cybernetic replacement left arm. It does not enhance his strength, being a prosthetic replacement rather than an enhancement. However, he has had it 'modified' over the years. It is built of reinforced composite materials that make it very durable and sturdy, making it useful to block melee strikes, and to perform hand-to-hand combat strikes. It has a built in contact taser, as well as a holdout single-shot 12 gauge shotgun that is hidden; the arm needing to split open to fire it through the palm of his hand.
The arm is also more fireproof, and electrically insulated than his organic body parts.
Given his extensive military background, Silver has opted to have communications implants, as well as a tracking/distress beacon/vital signs monitor implant installed.

Silverwind's one has been rechambered to use .45 ACP ammunition, due to the lack of readily available Canuss rounds.

Appearance:
Veep has Black Fur with white under the chin. Tuft of Grey hair on top of head. He has a long black tail and Green Eyes. He has a scar on his left cheek from an old battle wound.

Personality:
Veep is friendly, but tends to always have a guard up. Having lived a rough life, fighting with the Resistance and under constant tyranny, he has problems trusting new people, but is willing to extend trust where he perceives it's been earned. He'll sometimes fall into deep thought when not engaged in conversation, as he thinks back to the days when his brother fought by his side.
Has a determination to fight the Totality and make them pay for the billions of lives they've destroyed.

History:
- Veep and his twin brother Siva lost their parents to the Totality when they were young. They were taken in by the Resistance and cared for, as well as being trained to fight and operate MAS Suits.
- When the two were 31, Siva, adept at close quarters combat, was part of a raid on a Totality convoy. Veep stayed behind with a leg injury. Only a couple of Resistance Fighters came back, saying the rest were killed or captured. Devastated, Veep hopes his brother was killed, because he dreads to think what he'd have to endure at the Totality's hands if he were alive but captured.
- When the Resistance base was discovered and attacked, the surviving occupants fled through a ruined village. The Totality forces gave chase and picked off the fleeing fighters one by one. Using his stealthy skills, Veep evaded detection, then came across a Mirror that led to Earth. He leapt through before they found him.
- Now, 11 years later, Veep has adapted to human society and helps fight the Totality wherever he can. He joined SPEAR almost as soon as he learned about it.

Key Skills & Abilities:
Veep's primary talent comes from sneaking. His black fur means he hides in shadows really well and can move softly and quietly. This means he can slip behind enemy lines to plant bugs or bombs.
Though he is equally capable at going loud with MAS suits.

Appearance: Feanulde is a fair-skinned individual with hair and eyes colored in a light green tone. Large eyes and rounded cheeks give her, much to her chagrin, a bit of a babyface, a state not helped by her utter lack of ability to control her own facial expression.

In what some might believe is an attempt to compensate for this, she tends to dress in heavier clothing that covers her from chin to toe, tending toward a sort of stylistically harsh aesthetic with stark lines and only small amounts of color. She would not be caught dead in a dress, at least as far as anyone knows. Feanulde is clearly uncomfortable in more casual clothing and tends to look awkward if actually dressed for combat, and she is quite aware of this.

Personality: Feanulde is the very picture of the stereotypical vain prodigy: high-strung, perfectionistic, and irritable, with a razor-sharp wit and tongue both. The elf takes her anxieties to nearly paranoid levels, being a notoriously easy startle and quite literally looking over her shoulder at every opportunity. She dislikes chaos and superfluousness, seeming disconcerted by the idea that something might not have a distinct purpose.

Despite her many flaws, she is unfailingly dependable, always accomplishing anything she promises unless it proves to be impossible. Additionally, while quick to criticize, she is equally quick to recognize another person’s expertise in a given field and works smoothly when tasks have been delegated properly.

History:

  • Born in Totality-held territory off Earth as youngest of three siblings

Special Abilities: Feanulde’s electrical manipulation abilities are very well-developed. While not exceptionally powerful by most metrics, she excels in fine control, able to carefully modulate output frequencies, currents, and voltages. Given sufficient knowledge of the target, a moment of time to calibrate, and a bit of luck, her abilities can even be used to induce fairly specific malfunctions in electronically controlled devices, such as opening a locked door or force-restarting a directed energy weapon.

She also has a suite of modifications common to Totality citizens, including genetic modifications to slow aging, reduce needs for food or sleep, and modulate immune response to make rejection of cybernetic implants less likely. Said implants are numerous, though largely minor; enhancements to sensory processing, integrated communications tech, and remote vital signs monitors.

Personality: "You've got to see what does and doesn't work."
Callan holds a significant sense of pride and certainty in regards to interacting with races that were once considered alien. This is in-part due to a natural curiosity and an assumed upbringing in a very educated household. Even so, most seem to find a air of mystery surrounding their interests. They're very rarely in a bad mood and while they're not always perfect in the search for knowledge, correcting for misinterpretations of other people's proclivities or cultural norms tend to come in earnest. They're rarely seen in a bad, disheartened or even disillusioned moods. Though when they are, even the cruelty of removed reservation and kindness tends to be very precise.

History:
Callan Wish wasn't always considered the posterchild of Neo-transhumahnism that most with attentive eyes would claim them to be in the present. Callan was originally a student and medical technologist at the University of Florida when the first Mirror opened and wrought forth what they'd call a living nightmare. Their expertise made them somewhat valuable during the chaotic events of those first contacts and the forced migration of Floridians during them. Where the trauma took many survivors and broke them, many more chose to fight. Callan is among those who'd opted to fight. While most of the information regarding their past was lost with the infrastructure destroyed by The Totality, some bits of information have become known over the course of their service with The Coalition;
-Callan was a male by birth and began receiving their enhancements after the formation of The Coalition.
-Their enhancements were mostly treatments to otherwise debilitating injuries suffered in the earlier conflicts.
-They were offering critical aid to one of the first national guard platoons to encounter a Totality Supervisor.
-In the time since The Coalition's formation, they've become something of a public figure of Earth's scientific community as an example of human adaptability and 'evolution'.
-They're considered a little odd as far as humans go, but very popular with many Coalition races(Gennari, Felness, Mustarl and Dark Elves in particular.).

|Medical Engineer ✭✭✭✭✭| - Callan is a top-tier medical engineer, having been amidst their extended education on the matter when The Totality first attacked, they showed an almost obsessive dedication to the field once the opportunity and technology was formed by The Coalition. |Field Medic ✭✭✭✭✭| - From advanced technology to traditional techniques. If the materials are there, Callan will be able to help another survive when the going gets tough. The same skillset helps with examining the enemies of mankind and The Coalition.
|Technical Expertise ✭✭✭✭| - While Callan is not as dedicated to the technological studies and advancements as they are to the medical ones, the newfound interconnectivity of the fields has left much of their research and studies to branch into the fields. This leaves them with a sincere dedication to the study of cybernetics and their effects on people. They specialize in tech integration systems.
|Guerilla Soldier Veteran ✭✭✭| - While not originally trained by the U.S. armed forces, the conflict of Point Zero and the destruction of Florida made them a swift learner, leaning them towards chemical warfare and unorthodox or improvised weaponry. This perspective of the battlefield was then solidified and rounded well by way of the Coalition's further training of Callan in preparation for integration into SPEAR units.

Special Abilities:
|Enhanced Human ✭✭✭✭| - Callan's Cybernetic enhancements stand dangerously close to the point that is considered the brink of possible human enhancements. Skin, muscles, bones and eyes have all been enhanced or replaced with the high-end technology with what appears to be little issue. Modified Glock 26x - A reliable handgun with a versatile lower rail for hybrid laser and light additions while topped with HD XR night-sights. With a modified chamber, barrel and magazine well, the otherwise normal weapon becomes a fine example of versatility in regards to ammunition use cases.

Nanomachine Cloud Dock - Callan keeps a personal-use nanomachine deployment mechanism that is particularly useful for the sake of machine connectivity and of course medical treatment and examination.

MAS details:
Typically, Callan's MAS customizations are relatively simple; they mostly take up red paint atop the MAS's head with a rather typical red cross placed upon its center chassis. They most-often take up supportive or objective-based munitions and equipment for their MAS.

Appearance: Standing stout and tall his skin is a brilliant if battlescarred paled white. His hair is a short curled snow white cut where two horns curl over and up his skull. His face is gaunt and a bit jutting with a mild amount of facial scruff. His eyes are a soft yellow from iris to pupil. He wears the uniform of his faith, a black frock coat, with flack armour plate covering the torso, shins, knees, forarms, elbows, and right shoulder. More stikingly he wears the Valkir Combat helm, an insulated balistic helmet complete with exit gaps for horns. The front of the helm is covered with a detachable balistic mask and rebreather styled as a death mask, the mask plainly details a face in anquish with a third eye sprouting fangs on the forehead.

Personality: Generally personable, described as bombastic with a warm and jovial heart by those he both tends the wounds of and those he meets just generally upon first meeting. It belies of course the ferver filled, calculating, and ruthless mind of a combat medic and war priest on the battlefield with tendancies towards diligent toil and inquisitive exploration.

History:

- Born on Alk'nar, a frigid world of eternal night plagued by constant violent electromagnetic atmospheric discharge.
- The world is dominated by a confederated theocracy called "Vathir Ho", the Penatraiting Eye or the Eye That Bites.
- Served Vathir Ho as a "Kithil" or Confessor (akin to militerized law enforcement) and "Kit'mir" or Keeper of Clossing (doctors specializing multiple fields of medicine) before becoming militerized.
- Distinguished service against a Totality planitary invasion, in his own words "Stalemate invasions are a loss for the invaders".
- Vathir Ho joined the coalition not long after their costly defence of Alk'nar.

Key Skills & Abilities: Well drilled in warfare conventional, liniar, and geurilla: he makes for a phenomenal shock trooper, scout, and vanguard. Beyond his military talents, he is an accomplished battlefield doctor. Specializing in the fields of virology, interal surgery, external surgery, and anesthesiology.

Special Abilities: Show No Agony: trained to ignore pain and painshock to a great extent.
