I have other RPs I’ve been neglecting, and I come here to potentially start drama.

@IAmTheIsland Would you mind if i tied Leon's backstory into the journal? Pretty much, in the source he's from, Raem, a parasitic alien lifeform, ate his memories. Would you mind if i made Raem a Nightmare Dreameater and had him on the piece of the Journal.

Idea for Dreameaters [+]

Pretty much, the idea is that World Hearts feed off of the dreams of people, which is what allows them to constantly cycle Hearts back into the world, keeping the circle of life flowing. Unfortunately, when a World Heart is consumed by the Heartless, the dreams escape out into The Space Between and take on the forms of Spirit Dreameaters, who naturally flock to those with powerful hearts (Such as Princess Hearts)

However, bad dreams turn into sadistic Nightmares, bent on destroying anything in their path, desperately trying to make themselves whole again.

Raem would be an especially powerful Nightmare that consumes memories to make himself whole.

I would defer this decision to the GMs? Given the KH lore, it may be something better left for after the KH1 stretch, and maybe not in that section of the report. If we get to a Dream Drop Distance arc, then I can see it playing out.

EDIT: As for the current report, maybe it goes without stating, but I figure King Mickey will have been the one to have recovered the page currently being kept in Traverse Town.

Good point. I hadn't thought about Morgan’s group's inability to lock the keyholes of worlds. At best they'd just be treating the problem instead of curing it.

@Sadu What are your thoughts for this? Should Zac join Team Morgan and Levi join one of the other teams? I could see him ICly wanting to join Team Hoshi to watch over her for Kitsu and not trusting Launchpad and Leon all that well.

I almost feel like Zac would be someone beneficial to Hoshi's development sooner rather than later. Tied into something I brought up with King on Discord.

I think the complication right now is that most everyone wants to go find Alias, which means most people want to group into the same group, which is whichever one is going to find him.

But we don't really need to separate the goals of sealing the keyholes and finding Alias. If we say that the pathways being covered in darkness means there is no telling even how to get to the worlds they want to (Anastasia's World, and ultimately Olympus), then the idea would be that whatever groups are going where, everyone is simultaneously contributing to finding Alias AND sealing the keyholes. Which would also mean that nobody has to pick one certain group because 'This is the Alias hunting group', because they both have that goal.

Which I say both because I feel like we should stick to a couple groups. As it stands, anywhere Hoshi goes, Leon and Launchpad will go, anywhere Morgan goes Daisy and Max will go, and anywhere Lucian goes Donald and Goofy will go. I don't necessarily want Morgan to just be sitting around in the void waiting for everyone else to finish the worlds. So really the groups can be made up by what people want, and then Morgan will just go with whoever.

Really it comes up to what worlds are available to go to next, and how far away actually is Alias. I imagine we won't be catching up to him until near the end of KH1.

Also how many worlds do we want there to be in total before we reach the end of KH1? The final worlds being as mentioned in the past, a brief stop in Camelot, and then off to Hollow Bastion.

And I mean, I'm sure once everyone is reunited with Alias everything will go back to normal anyway and it'll be smooth sailing from then on.

Since putting two pairs of Disney characters in a given group brings it up to a minimum of 6 when you account for the islanders, why not split up Zac and Levi? If @Daxam is alright with that. Levi or Zac can go with Morgan, making sure no group is without a keyblade, and the remaining can go with one of the other two. Two groups of four, and a group of three.

I think that works with everyone reuniting in Olympus the first time. I feel like that world will be able to help everyone conclude the first character arcs with their characters.

I think four worlds in between Olympus and Camelot will be good. That gives everyone the bare minimum of 6 different worlds in total. This way we also leave more worlds open for the next games in the series and for Chain of Memories we can go to the worlds that other players went to instead of our own.

I believe that works well and stops us from having to overthink. But I'll let you, @Daxam, and @IAmTheIsland decide since Island may want Zac in her party.

I do have an alternative idea, but I'm going to run it by Kindred first.

Honestly, I don't mind one way or the other. Zac's story doesn't truly begin until CoM at the earliest, KH2 at the latest, depending on whether or not we do CoM (and I'm really, really hoping we do because I've got ideas brewing), so there's no pressure for him to go to any world over the other. Right now, his role is guide/mentor/protector/chauffeur, so he's happy going with whoever wants him/needs him the most

@Daxam I want us to do CoM and honestly with the way I plan for Alias's KH1 story to end it's pretty much a necessary story for the group to transition to KH2.

So Zac will go with Team Hoshi. They'd need his piloting skills so they don't end up crashing too much with Launchpad at the helm. Then Levi will go with Team Morgan.

Alias may have his own companion soon as well.

Meanwhile, Lucian’s story is me rolling with whatever happens.
